On the first day we became friends and they were SOOOO nice. so we ate lunch together. The next day they ditched me at lunch, she told me where we were gonna meet and she never showed up, She came to class the next day acting like nothing happened. I found out one day because i saw her talking to her friend pointing at me and laughing and when i caught her she stopped laughing and looked down and looked embarrassed. After that day that i caught her, everytime i see her she is looking scared and She doesnt even have the the guts to look me in the face when she walks in front of me. She talks **** behind my back but when she is alone and im around she acts shy and says things like "excuse me" or "you look pretty". She wont stop even when I caught her and confronted her about it. My really shy like shy where you don't even talk, two I don't know how to explain it to my mom and convince her too, three I'm not flexible, but don't worry I'm stretching everyday, found if I do tryouts what if the other girls don't talk to me or laugh at me. But I really want to do this to boost my confidence, my self esteem, help me with my shyness, make friends, have a good memory of high school, and to prove to my other siblings who make fun of me that I am something. Posted: 13 Sep 2017 03:44 PM PDT ok so we first met when i entered highschool (grade 9 now grade 10) near the middle of the year, and when we started talking we became really good friends, we had so much in commen and i even actually liked her and confessed but that wasnt the problem (she didnt ignore me when i confessed she just said its ok and we continued being friends) we continued talking and we literally used to talk ALL day everyday and we even started hanging out outside of school in a park and i visited her a few times to her house, anyway near the end of the school year she just suddenly stopped talking to me, stopped hanging out in my group and later in the summer when i tried texting her i found out she blocked me and i was so confused and angry that i just left her. NOW with the start of the school year she hangs out in my group again and everytime i talk she butts in and says rude things and we would argue, i would laugh and smile but it actually hurts because shes the first legit friend that hasnt left or was fake so when we argue it would just piss me off but anyway one day i asked her "i didnt even do anything so why do you hate me so much" and she said thats exactly why so now im even more confused. someone please help i need some sort of answer |

This one classmate has a picture of me (the picture of me is what toxic people nowadays call "mentally retarded, which in my opinion is a terrible name)" and they set it as their wallpaper on their chromebook that our school gives us, and I asked him to change it multiple times, he said no and went on a rant on of how I keep asking. He gave the excuse of how he isn't putting in on social media or anything, but he just keeps the d**n chromebook open just so everyone passing by him can see the picture of me (and not to mention I already get made fun of, plus this classmate always says racial things to me and says how I'm adopted, not something everyone wants to here AND the main thing says how I am a disgrace to my family. He always says that in a serious tone, not a joking one. I then gave reasons that might not be the smartest, like how I never gave him permission to do that, but he rebuttal-ed with how he took the picture of me, and I replied back with I didn't know that you were legit going to be taking a picture of me and did it for a bit of comedy, and he said that since he took the picture he can do anything that he wanted with it since he took it and that my face isn't copyrighted. Is there just a way to retaliate with it, and/or a way to make him get rid of the picture, even if it would include the principal. I know life isn't fair, but he's an a**.xo |

What happend was he was Driveing his motorbike on a back road that had dips in it he came over a hill and a women was trying to do a 3 point turn he hit her car and died instantly so he never suffered but the hard thing to take is that just a few yards up the road there was a lay-by to turn. I signed up last year but now that it's coming up I'm getting so freaked out to the point where it's making me cry like a goddamn child. I don't what's wrong with me. There's a few reasons why I don't want to go but also the fact that every time I think about it I get sick to my stomach. The main reason is I feel odd leaving my family and my boyfriend. It would be the first time I left them all for about 4 days, I'll be out of state and going to different places. The other reason is Im missing 3 days of school but for me that's a lot of work and I hate the idea of missing out and getting my work backed up. And finally the last reason is I'm worried that I'm going to end up being isolated the whole time and not enjoying myself, I have friends that are going but they aren't close enough to me. My family and friends are begging me but I'm just really concerned for myself and I can't tell if it's because I've been off my antidepressants meds for a bit or I seriously dont want. to go. Any advice? |

Posted: 13 Sep 2017 12:13 PM PDT Yesterday my brother who just got relaeased from a mental health hospital (he tried on several occasions 2 kill himself,he was diagnosed and is now being given medications)asked me if people have problems w/ me in college as I am new to the college life since its my 1st yr.(he had attended this college as well).I told him no and he said that's good.I asked him y and he said"they always had problems with me."i asked y but he kind of brushed it off.I asked if it was boys who had problems w/ him and he said ya.I told him to screw them and to ignore them,and he told me that's what he did,he would just ignore them.Now he's attending a different college(however he has not been attending it due to his recent diagnosis,he needs to focus on recovering and therapy),and he said ppl also have problems with him there.Tht made me really sad.let me shed some light.My bro is a rather, quiet, shy boy who is super intelligent & would not hurt a fly.I can't wrap my Brain around y ppl would be mean to him.It hurts me knowing this.Maybe it's because they're all douchebags and he's not.I really Don't know.It made me so sad cuz he just got released from the hospital and is having to deal with all this other crap.He doesn't have many friends.All the friends he ever had(including my cousins)are terrible people who don't care 4 his well being.I rlly want to go to his college whenever he goes back and say somthing to the ppl who are giving him problems,but idk if he would let me/want me to do that. |

We don't have any reason to talk to each other throughout the day because each of our jobs are so different and in opposite spots of the building.I am not even sure she knows my name. I want to be her friend but don't know how. I feel odd trying to strike up a conversation with her when I don't even really know her. She just seems like a nice person and I think we'd make good friends. When we did talk, it was just her making a comment or asking a work related question, not even totaling 10 seconds. I have tried to make eye contact with her and talk to a person who works directly with her, hoping that my conversation with them will eventually involve her as well but when I am around it seems like she doesn't even notice me. We all got along but I didn't make any good friends. I did go out to the bar every once in a while with certain people after the tournament. I work alone at this one job I have now and I love it. There is a few people I work with but we all have our own area at work and I wouldn't want to hang out with them. I do go out to bars. I used to go out to the same bar and I was doing it for a year. I finally got tired of it. I'm now going to different ones. I live in a city so there's allot to offer. I realize that I won't make friends at a bar. Just people to talk to that go to the same one. Again we all like each other but never made good long lasting friends there either. I'm now going out to different ones to find some good female friend to hang out with. I've had my share of friends. I made allot of friends in the past. I recently just had a drop someone that was supposed to be a good friend but he was nothing but a selfish drunk. Yes i've had too many fake friends and that's why I'm fine with being a loner. It doesn't bother me at all. I still go out to bars and meet people. I go to the gym and I like going to the movies. She's 50 and I'm 19, we're both girls.. she's become a very special friend of mine, one you rarely come across. We get a long so well for our age difference, we have so many similar life experiences, especially for me being so young. We talk all the time, over the phone mostly because we live far. She will help me through my life problems and I will help her, she's so supporting and caring, consdering she's a blunt and reserved person. We can talk about anything and everything, we've cried to each other on the phone and have helped each other get through tough times. I'm completely comfortable with her and I assume she is too as we have shared so many important private things with each other. She's a great friend and mentor to me. She helped me when I reached a low point in my life, I was at a bad point the other day.. she called me and got after me for considering something stupid. She said how special I was to her and that she would be heart broken if anything ever happened to me. We were on the phone for 3 hours that afternoon. She even threatens to drive all the way over here (my college) and whip my butt. That she'd be monitoring me/my media posts etc.. to make sure I don't do anything stupid.. it's weird because some moments she can't be extremely rough and others she calls me her sunshine.. Why is she like that to me? Why is she just so special to me? I just get a special feeling towards her |

Her grandparents died naturally of old age, her mother had a brain aneurysm, and her 19-year-old brother had an enlarged heart (forgot the medical term of his illness). She and I have been friends on Facebook for about 10 years, and she has NEVER responded to my "Happy Birthday" messages or general hellos. But then earlier this year, she surprised me: she posted a "Happy Birthday" message on my timeline. That is literally the first time she ever said anything. But on another sad note, the day after my birthday I found out that her aunt (also my FB friend) died three months prior to my birthday. So I sent an inbox message to her niece (my friend) to express my heartfelt condolences as well as having provided her with my cell # (keep in mind I replied "thank you!" to her "happy birthday" post (not yet realizing her aunt died). So in the inbox message, I told her how sorry I was and that I had no idea. Well, it is now five months later and she never replied to my "journal" of a post. However, she recently "liked" one of my albums. I'm confused. |

| Question: Advice on keeping a conversation going with friends? Posted: 13 Sep 2017 07:06 AM PDT Im going out with 2 friends tomorrow and not really been out with them properly before. I feel I have slight social anxiety so Im pretty nervous about it for some reason. We're all 18 and guys and I just get scared Im too boring for them. So what are some things I can usually always bring into conversation if there's ever a long awkward silence or any tips I can use to try relax myself. I know Im probably overthinking this and it'll be ok but my anxiety doesn't help with this kinda stuff. Thanks |

We sit together at lunch, in class hang out after school and before and go shopping together. All the usual best friend things. But today at lunch we were talking about this girl and I said "do u even know her?" And her response was "well no but her brother of my best friend." And I asked her subtly like u really mean that? And she went on to say yes. And then explained how they are even though they are in different grades. And now I am a little taken aback and I am questioning everything about our friendship. What should I do??? |

She's 50 and I'm 19, we're both girls.. she's become a special friend of mine, one you rarely come across. We get a long so well for our age difference, we have so many similar life experiences, especially for me being so young. We talk all the time, over the phone mostly because we live far. She will help me through my life problems and I will help her, she's so supporting and caring, consdering she's a blunt and reserved person. We can talk about anything and everything, we've cried to each other on the phone and have helped each other get through tough times. I'm completely comfortable with her and I assume she is too as we have shared so many important private things with each other. She's a great friend and mentor to me. She helped me when I reached a low point in my life, I was at a bad point the other day.. she called me and got after me for considering something stupid. She said how special I was to her and that she would be heart broken if anything ever happened to me. We were on the phone for 3 hours that afternoon. She even threatens to drive all the way over here (my college) and whip my butt. That she'd be monitoring me/my media posts etc.. to make sure I don't do anything stupid.. it's weird because some moments she can't be extremely rough and others she calls me her sunshine.. Why is she so worried and always concerned with me ? |

Posted: 13 Sep 2017 12:23 AM PDT I'm struggling so much with recent passing of loved ones and it sucks because I can't talk to anyone about it.. it's not good to hold stuff in but I feel I have no choice at this point.. Any time I try and talk about it with someone close, i end up upsetting them or making them sad by accidentally reminding them about their own loved ones who have passed. Bringing close friends sadness is the last thing I ever want to do, I try so hard to bring a little bit of life to everyone.. I am a terrible friend. |

I have 2 best friends but my 2 best friends who know each other don't get along. Their names are Julie and Heather. They both like me though but all us 3 cannot hang out or be together. Heather says to me that either I am friends with her or Julie but I can't be friends with both because she doesn't like Julie and Julie says if I am friends with her, I cannot be friends with Heather. I don't know what to do here because I hate playing monkey in the middle and having to be forced to pick who I can be friends with. What should I do? Posted: 13 Sep 2017 12:04 AM PDT Whether you see the same person all the time or not or if you are family, friends, and even a stranger, if you fight with each other and get so rude with each other or call each other names, do people who fight usually make up and are they cool again? Are fights common? I mean with girls, they usually just never talk to you again but other people in general, would they be forgiving and forgive you no matter how much of a jerk you are to them and will they make up with apologizing? |

The main reason is if I were to do stuff my mom or dad has to drive me everywhere. It's just awkward. I have friends that are always offering to drive me to school or drive me to a bookstore and I have to say no because my parents don't allow new drivers to take me anywhere. |
| Posted: 12 Sep 2017 11:04 PM PDT i decided to go to a different school away from my friends i thought was better but turns out i hate it. there are many reasons but for one, i don't like the people in my classes. they're just not my type of friends and they actually annoy me. then the teachers, i never really have problems with teachers but oh boy the teachers are awful, i actually get so sad thinking of going to class. i like the building but the atmosphere is so different and i actually feel like i don't belong there. i've been giving it days to see if it changes but it's the same thing everyday. luckily, after a few months i may be able to go back to my school with all my friends! except i don't move till 3-4 ish months? how can i cope with all these things? i've never hated school so much |

I indulged in some self-depricating humor and we were all joking around. Then my friend started trying to roast me. Used to his routine, I deflected most of the comments with self-deprication, acceptance and the occasional comeback. However, as it went on my friends started to gang up and began to play on my insecurities a little. So my friend was calling me stupid and saying i had a big ego with little to back it and I said the words "ap scores" referring to the fact that i out performed him. He had been very upset as he was considering top tier schools and while his performance was exceptional it was iffy from an ivy standpoint. After that he went dead silent and didnt say much for the remaining 10 min. When i saw him in the hallway afterwards he was very upset. I realize that it was a low blow but is it justified at all? |

But when it comes to my sucky feelings of depression and loneliness I don't have anyone to confide in. When I scroll through Instagram and see two of my friends hanging out I get upset. Posted: 12 Sep 2017 08:21 PM PDT 8th period some girl took a mouse i was using for computers, and by took she just took it. Like she didn't even ask. Anyways afterwards my friend told her that i was using the mouse with my right hand that i use to jerk off, i joined in and said yeah to mess with her since she was being an ***. Afterwards she started saying she was going to tell the staff or some **** that i "Sexually hurt her". I just ignored cause i knew nothing would happen. So then she started roasting me (i did not care) but then she said "Just ******* kill yourself". It didn't hurt me at first but then i was like "wow, that was actually mean tf" so now i'm thinking if i should tell someone and get her in trouble because i'm petty, or let it slide. If i let it slide i know it will just make me mad/sad later on. If i snitch and she finds out her friends will probably beat my ***. But she is an asshole, does nothing but play around and stop class. Honestly she should have been kicked out a long time ago. If i snitch (assuming she gets expelled or something) i'd probably be helping the whole school. On the other hand, she might lie and make me look like i sexually harassed her. And nobody likes a snitch Also could i get in trouble for what i said? |
