I ended up having sex with a guy...yes it was dumb...I've cried and cried about this...I've told my boyfriend about it and we went through a rough patch but we gotten over it. I'm getting into my car and he taps me on the shoulder and surprises me with a kiss. He later told me he did it because he didn't know when he would see me again. To tell you some more, we broke up because of a mistake I made and because we took it too fast. He wanted to take a step back and take things slower and I agreed. As of now, he is getting better at treating me as a friend and not wanting to kiss me etc, but on some days he's extra nice to me and other days he's more mellow as if he's trying to hide his feelings from me. Today I thought he had lost interest in me because of the way he was talking to me, but then he called me a nickname he hasn't called me since we were a couple. He did say he would want to get back together if things go well between us but who knows when that will be. Should I lose my feelings for him and see him as a friend and see where things go? We had sex a couple of times. He didnt tell me he was drinking until the next morning when we went on our date. He also cut our date short because he had work to do ( he is a graduate student) and he told me when I asked him when he promised he would spend the whole day with me. I showed that I was a little annoyed but calmed down soon afterwards. So after our date which ended at Saturday 6pm I didn't get any text messages from him. So I asked him if he was super busy at 12am and he replied 12 hours later saying he was and didn't have time to text me. It was a very half hearted apology so I left him on read and he texted me another asking where I was. I left him on read BUT replied 5 hours later. ( so we didnt talk for almost the whole day ). He didnt reply to my text message and wouldn't pick up the phone. I used my friend's phone to call him but he wouldn't pick up. I was super worried but didnt think he wanted a breakup because we didn't have any major fights or quarrels . He seemed happy. So I called his lab and they said he was there and would tell him to call me back. He didn't call back and 2 hours later he texted me he was busy and will be in the future so we should break up. Is this just an excuse? |

It's kind of an unspoken thing between us that we try to one-up each other on our visits for when we go to each other's states. For example, the first anniversary, he came to visit me in my state. I had taken him to the beach at night to see the stars (he lived near the city so he's never seen so many stars before). I want to try to recreate something like that, but I can't figure out anything that could give him that really special time like the last time. By now, I don't mean to one-up him, but to give him something really fun or creative. Like taking him to a place he's never been to before, something really unique for our anniversary. I've thought of something like couple spas, apple picking/ fall foliage trails/ hikes. We've been to the aquarium, mini-golfing, been to NYC, been to museums, Im saving stuff like movie dates and romantic dinners for his birthday, picnics etc. But anything creative for an anniversary? BUT! I have no idea where to go on from here. I confronted him about it, and he said he didn't. That she found out because I mentioned to her that me and him still hung out. The reason I didn't believe her was because she does lie a lot, and I just haven't ever been able to trust her. I stopped talking to him for a while, and even ended up blocking him. His friend would message me and ask why I was mad at him, and what was wrong. I then unblocked him, and we started talking again. Now, he's going for my friend, even though he knows she hates her. He's always commenting on her pictures, and telling her to give him a chance. In a way, I feel embarrassed and hurt, even though we weren't in a relationship. But I don't know if I have the right to be, as I've gotten mad at him many times. My friend told me he's trying to make me jealous, but it's just hurt me a lot. What should I do? |

| Posted: 12 Sep 2017 06:28 PM PDT Okay so my best friends boyfriend came back from college in florida because of the hurricane that's happening. she had broken up with him a few days ago because she felt like they had nothing in common and he wasn't funny and because he was "too in love with her". she would always complain to me and my other friends about how much she doesn't like him and was "so happy" to be single again. so he came back like 3 days ago and immediately went to the place she works to see her. they hungout that night they were backtogether the next day. it just annoys me because she would always complain about him and now that hes back shes in love with him again and I feel like that's kind of fake. Me and her are super alike, have the same personality and the same sense of humor so I don't want to lose her because of this. also they are together 24/7 again and she invites him to anything and everything we go to and I'm standing there like a third wheel unless my other friends go. is she doing something wrong or is it me? thank you Update: also before he was back she would always hangout with me and my friends and go to parties but now that hes back shes always with him and he doesn't like her going to parties |
