My engagement ring is a white sapphire and the very surface of it is scratched. It's not visible if you just look at it but if you're like me I'm always staring At the damn thing and I've noticed it's scratched. Is there any way to fix the scratches? If I can post a photo I will do so in the morning to show you!

We originally RSVP'd thinking we could make it, but my fiance's work schedule flubbed us up. He had someone would said he would cover two shifts but he can't come through now. My fiance' would have to call in sick 3 days in a row which requires a dr.'s note, and he is an air traffic controller so it is not something he can just miss. The couple has not bothered to respond to our message we sent about being sorry we cannot make it now. This is a destination wedding. We would be spending 1,000$ for two nights. We just can't swing it, and are planning our own wedding in 5 months as well. I hate we are missing it, but things come up. I had no idea we would get the silent treatment though. That's rough!

From what I understand you have a 'best man' as well as several other guys to stand up there with you as groomsmen when you get married and your wife has all her girlfriends up there with her. I however have a girl best friend who I want to stand up there with me. Her boyfriend is also one of the guys I want as my groomsmen. Is this possible?
