Question: What are important things to know about engagement rings? Posted: 28 Sep 2017 09:17 PM PDT I think, Engagement rings form a very special part of the engagement day and the moment the ring slips into finger it changes the course of your life and takes you along with the man/woman you chose to live. It is the symbol of a relationship. There are many sites for the engagement rings to buy. Glamira is one of the best sites for engagement rings. Posted: 28 Sep 2017 12:23 PM PDT I haven't hung out with the friend getting married in like a year and I'm just friends with the guy I'm going with. We used to be pretty close a few years ago. Is it weird if I don't get a gift since I wasn't technically invited. Should I get a card at least? |
Question: Bachelorette party drama. Should I get a refund? Posted: 28 Sep 2017 08:58 AM PDT I'm in my friend's wedding and her bachelorette/bachelor party is a weekend away at an air BNB. I guess the place her best man booked got a ton of bad reviews after he booked it, so they changed places. Now the new property is only allowing 6 cars to be parked there. I live 2 hours from the rest of the wedding party (I moved) and I can't car pool with anyone. Everyone is from the same area so they all are getting rides and I'm in the opposite direction of the new air BNB. I don't have friends or family up here that can drop me off and my husband has work. The best man told me his wife could pick me up (apparently they are driving separately in 2 cars) but just now said they wouldn't be able to drive me back. I asked him if I could get a refund on the money (combo of rent, food and drink for the weekend) and he said no. So basically I just spent all this money for everyone else's weekend. Should I try to push a refund for the food and drink portion or just swallow the few hundred dollar loss? Kinda sucks after spending a ton of money on dress, shoes, shower gift, wedding gift, hair and makeup. |
Question: Would you consider navy to be a fall color? Posted: 28 Sep 2017 08:06 AM PDT We were invited to a wedding about a month ago and I had already bought my outfit for the wedding. I bought a cream color top, pink skirt and tan jacket. Now a little over a week the bride let's us know that she would like us to wear fall colors. I do not have any other fall color outfits that would be appropriate for the wedding except for a pretty navy color skirt would also look really nice. Would my original outfit be ok or should I wear the navy skirt? I'm a college student and don't want to spend more money on another outfit when I could use that money on the gift. |
