Question: What is required for a marriage certificate? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 11:29 AM PST My fiancée and I would like to get married but we don t want to have a wedding. We d like to just do paperwork and make our marriage official. We don t like to idea of having a ceremony and sharing our first kiss as a couple in front of other people. What are our options to get our marriage certificate? And, we live and will marry in Utah |
Question: Tips for being a bridesmaid with a 6-8 week old baby? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 06:37 AM PST I've been asked to be a bridesmaid for my sister in law at the beginning of July and I will have a 6-8 week old baby at the time. I'm not sure it's a good idea to be in the wedding with the responsibilities of breastfeeding a new baby but my inlaws did not like the idea of me attending as a guest instead of a bridesmaid. My hubby and 3 year old will also be in wedding as a groomsmen and ring bearer. Who's been a bridesmaid with a newborn? How did you know what size dress to order? What did you do with baby during ceremony and wedding party photos? Should I ask to bring a sitter? I love my inlaws dearly and want to do everything to support my sister in law on her special day! |
Question: No one to walk me down the aisle and my mother is not going dress shopping with me? Posted: 01 Jan 2017 04:56 AM PST My father will not be walking me down the aisle for various reasons, I'm not even sure if he will show up. I ve known and expected this for years but recently when I scheduled a time to try on dresses my mother came up with almost any and every excuse as to why she couldn't come. I gave her about 6 different days yo choose from and none of them worked for her apparently. When I asked when she could come she told me a Wednesday would be best. The bridal store is an hour and a half away and I work during the week so obviously this isn't going to work. She doesn't have a job but she volunteers a lot, but you would think with her first daughter getting married she would make it more of a priority/effort to come. Is it wrong to be frustrated with her? I gave her almost a months notice that I was going dress shopping and she still won't rearrange anything. |
