Question: I never say I love you back to my parents? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 01:49 PM PST My parents are almost never around and only seem to point out my flaws but don't get me wrong I love them very much because there supportive and caring people but I find it hard to say I love you to them I don't know why especially my father In fact a lot of People think I strongly dislike him because I try to avoid him as much as I can and that's mainly because he drinks and yells at me each time I see him but I still love him ...just not to the full extent, my mother on the other hand is average even if she isn't around she Will find time to say I love you but I find myself in a uncomfortable position where I either say ok or thanks bye I feel terrible after but the words are so hard to say we aren't really that close I don't tell her every single thing going on in my life but I can never say the words to my father it's weird I know there my parents and I should say it but it's hard because my dad rarely says it and I don't know I can't say it back to my mom reason why this might happen anyone else experiencing else this ?! |

Question: My dad is destroying my life? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 01:36 PM PST I'm only fifteen. First, he bans me from going to the gym because he doesn't want to "waste gas" by coming back and forth every weekend. So now I can't do something to benefit my body. I know this has to do with him wanting to save money for my sister's child that she had when she was 16. She's now 17. He now keeps telling me that I can't eat lunch at school anymore because it's too expensive, and our school lunches are f*cking awesome. He said this yesterday: "You're going to have to stay at school until 5 from now on until Claire (my sister) gets done with fitness club so we don't have to run back and forth to get her." My sister's car doesn't work, so my parents have to give her a ride. I tell my mom what my dad's been saying, and she doesn't care. Guess what she says? "You might be picking your niece up after school from the babysitters when you get a car." Hell f*cking no! I'm not putting a damn car seat in my car. That is uncool as f*ck. Anyway, why is my dad ruining my life instead of my sisters, and how can I get it to stop? It's her f*cking kid. |
Question: Why is my mom like this? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 01:34 PM PST She making me pay rent when I never paid rent. She takes a man over her own kids. She even bought him a iMac when I ask her for a MacBook and got me nothing but a 25$ gift card. He tries to be my dad like no. And he say don't depend on her and get stuff on my own. I just got my first job 2 months ago. And I only make 90-100$ a week bc of school I can't work much but yeah. She makes me give her 10$ for gas every week. Cause I get paid every week which my check is only 90-100$. & she wants me to give her money I get from my dad cause he was in the military and he passed away and he wants me to use the money for college ONLY. (Fun fact: They never were married or dated. It was a one night stand & bam I came just so you know) Which I am and that's why I'm working to save for college and the check from him is only 578 a month and she wants me to give her half like when I leave for college in 3 months I won't have enough money for me to go into college with if I give her half. Her man gets 1000$ for going to college & 200-500$ for disability when nothing is wrong with him & my mom makes 900$ every 2 weeks & my birthday ex stay here & she gets 400$ at McDonald's & give my mom 200$ for staying here. Like is she using me? What should I do? Can you help me? I can't stay with my grandma cause she's stressed enough. |
Question: My boyfriend supports his mother? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 01:26 PM PST Long story short, my bfs mom is a lazy money hungry crack head that doesn't do **** all day but get high with the money that came from her son. At first it was okay. But its getting out of hand. He has bills, 2 loans and a fine to pay. He had money but he's mother always bums him for it. and when he says no, she manipulates and plays the guilt trip. Is there anything that'll make this change? Plz help |
Question: Will my husband ever get over this? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 01:20 PM PST I got laid off from my job and we could no longer make the mortgage payments. The lender was going to foreclose. Then I got a letter telling me my mortgage had been paid off. I thought it was a mistake so I went to the lender, and ask them about it. They told me my ex husband who was still on the mortgage had came in and paid off the mortgage. We had a friendly divorce but I NEVER expected this. I got the house in the divorce but I had to keep up the mortgage payments. I called my ex husband and ask him why he paid off the mortgage. He told me that since he was still on the mortgage, his credit was being harmed by my not making the mortgage payments. I promised him I would pay him back the money he used to payoff the mortgage. He told me I did NOT OWE him anything. There are not words to express how great it feels to not EVER have to worry about having a home to come home to. However, I had an unexpected problem. My current husband is very upset about the way things turned out. I told him it did not have ANYTHING to do with him. He should be happy that WE now have a free and clear home. I told him if it bothers him so much, he can pay back my ex husband the money he used to pay off the mortgage. He has not mentioned anything about this since. Do you think he will get over this and let us both get on with our lives with NO MORTGAGE PAYMENTS EVER. |
Question: How much should I pay my mom for rent? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 01:04 PM PST I make 90-100$ a week and get paid every week because I go to school that's why I'm not getting much hours. I only get hours on school breaks and when I request for more cause I need more when I have less school. My mom makes 900$ every two weeks. She got a man that go to college and get 1000$ for it every month & 200-500$ for disability (it's nothing wrong with him so idk why he get it and he honestly not dumb he smart asf) oh my brother ex stay here and get 400$ every two weeks too so she give my mom half (200$) and I get money from my dad cause he died and was in the military and I get 578$ every month but he wants me to use it for college only & the fact they never were married or dating & she said "I just happened. I wasn't planned. It was a one night stand" but anyways she wants me to give her that but I'm saving for college cause I don't have money for college that's why I'm working too cause of college not for clothes or material thing but COLLEGE honestly. College is all on my mind. So how much should I give her for rent? Idek why she charging her child for rent. When I just turned 18 not even a 1-3 weeks ago cause that money is supposed to be for me to go to college. |
Question: Do I report benefit fraud? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 12:55 PM PST So my husbands younger brother 18 and he's girlfriend now 18 have a baby and just found out she's pregnant again. They struggle for money and they get a little bit of help through the benefit system but apparently not enough. They always need help financially and asking mum and dad to buy this and that. So they decided to sign her up as a single parent so that they'll get more money throuh the government. This has made me so angry! And they don't seem to listen what a bad idea this is and he's mum and dad don't seem to care. I don't know whether I should get involved and report it or just leave it and it's not harming me. But I know that they're are others out there that need the money more, and I don't want to ruin their lives by having a criminal record st such a young age. I don't really know what the right thing here is to do? |
Question: Is it wrong for a pregnant woman to move 6 hours away from the baby father ? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 12:30 PM PST I would be doing this for my own good. Where I live is a little hectic there are two kids that live here one a teen and another a 3 year old. It's a little to much for me. I find myself stressed out alot. I don't want to stress because it's not healthy for my baby. My cousin said I can move with her to florida. I don't want to stop the father from being there for the birth though. I'm just looking out for my baby. I'm due in August though and he also has a car. If anything I can fly him to florida as well. Would I be wrong ? we also are not together. My cousin will help me get my license etc..... |
Question: My moms getting neck surgery? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 11:24 AM PST My mom has had really bad neck pain for months now. Next week she is finally getting surgery on it. I do my school online. Now she's not gonna be able to cook for a while, we have deicided that my dad will come home from work once a week to cook lunch, and every night he will either cook it or we will get take out. But what happens when I need to cook? I mean like I'll be ordering Pizza Hut a lot but I can't eat it every day. So what do i do about this? This is very stressful for the entire family |
Question: Should I wear my dress blues for my grandpa's funeral? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 11:20 AM PST My grandpa died monday and tomorrow morning there will be the funeral. I am a Marine, for the funeral I'd like to just put on a black suit and tie but my mom wants me to wear my dress blues. Should I do it? I mean it's gonna be a civilian funeral and I don't think it would be appropriate to wear the blues as it would drag all the attention away from my grandpa and I don't want that. On the other hand he was proud of me being a Marine and once I wore the blues just for him to take a pic with me. My parents (mostly my mom) are pushing me on wearing the blues but I feel it's inappropriate and most likely I'm not gonna wear it,mostly cause I'd be the only one in uniform. What do you think? NEVER SUBMIT... to allah's law: yes I did ask the same question a few months ago and I just simply copied it inserting my grandpa instead of my grandma, which I lost in oct. Both then and now my parents wanted me to wear my blues and my grandparents liked me in that uniform,I don't have to justify myself to you on why I asked this question,so if you want to give me an advice fine,if not get out of my question |
Question: What to do with feelings for BIL? does he even feel the same way for me? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 11:17 AM PST without a long story, I been married for 10 or more years and have always been attracted to my BIL. he is very different to my husband. sarcasm towards each other is present but not mean, I think is safe flirting from both of us, since we are always surrounded by family, he looks at me and his eyes shine, so I look away or when I look at him straight into his eyes then he looks down or looks away but not before a little smile or smirk. we are similar in many aspects of our personalities, I thought it was a crush that would eventually go away, but after so many years this feeling is not gone. what to do? .... and please telling my husband is not an option. |
Question: Are you happy with your family? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 11:13 AM PST I can't stand mine. My parents divorced when I was 6. So I can't just have one family, I have two half families. My mom is crazy. My blood pressure rises just by being in proximity to her. She's always angry, blames everyone but herself, and is impossible to talk to. I see people talk about how happy they were to go home and see their family for Christmas, and I envy them. Why can't I have that? I dream about winning the lottery and moving far away and mostly just forgetting about my family. I don't want to deal with it any more. |
Question: My cousin gabrielle got married to old man i do not like him? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 10:57 AM PST my cousin gabrielle got married to old man she says she love him and now she is pregnant Gabrielle only married him for his money and that what is wrong |

Question: Blended family advice!!? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 10:33 AM PST I am 32 and my husband is 39. This is both our 2nd marriages. He has three boys and I have a little girl. We have started talking about having a baby between us. One of my concerns is that my stepsons may have a difficult time adjusting to us having a baby. My little girl would love it and asks for a baby all the time. I would love for her to have a sibling in the home. I feel like his boys have each other and always will but my little girl doesn t have that. My husband is a wonderful father and loves his boys and is a good step father to my daughter but I m nervous that he may not love our baby in the way he loves his boys. He is very dedicated to them (coaching their teams and such.) I just want to make the best decision of all of us. Does anyone have a similar situation they can speak on? |
Question: My sister is a bad person, should I keep my children away from her? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 10:26 AM PST She is a self entitled bully but not violent. She is aged 24 |
Posted: 06 Jan 2017 10:25 AM PST He speaks to the two siblings of mine who participated in it but they were not the organizers of the intervention, I was. As a result he hates me and told me so during the intervention. I have four siblings and two participated but I was the leader of the intervention. As a result he hates me, tolerates the two who participated, and pours love onto the two who refused to participate this making me mad at them. I am 27 and male. All my siblings but one are male and the one who is female was one of the ones he tolerates (she participated but didn't organize). He is divorced from our mother who has nothing to do with him for about 10 years now. I felt horrible at Christmas not to even hear from my own Dad and he hung up when I called him to wish him a Merry Christmas. Whereas all my siblings saw him Christmas Eve (he made clear I wasn't welcome). His only surviving sibling wouldn't see me either (she follows his lead on who to like). His parents are deceased. |
Question: I just want to be humble but my family won't let me? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 10:22 AM PST I basically grew up in a very very wealthy family and both my brother and my sister ask for everything and they always get it. A few days ago my brother literally asked for a yacht type thing and lo and behold my dad got him one. My parents never pay attention to me and just shove money in my face and I just feel guilty cuz I know others arent this fortunate to have a family of fortune, and everyone I meet somehow finds out I have money and they always try to suck it out of me. They're all fake. but I'm just feeling down. I'll try to talk to my mom and she'll just give me money and say **** like " just go to the mall" or something. I just want to live a normal life for once where everythings not all about money. And I'm 16 so I cant move out or anything yet. Then my family always says stuff like "you should be happy we have everything we have", "you're an unappreciative brat", etc. I pretty much live in a mansion full of snobs. Any advice? Thank you all in advance |
Question: First cousin or Second cousin? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 10:20 AM PST I recently met a cousin (I'm sure he's my cousin?) of mine. I can't keep my third/second cousins and my "first cousins twice removed" thing straight. Can anyone help with this? I want to know his relationship to me. My grandmother (mom's side) and his grandfather (dad's side) are siblings. That makes our parents cousins and us cousins too. Would he be my first cousin or what? I get confused. Thank you! |
Question: My mother is abusive to me and narcissistic. How do I get emotionally detached from her? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 10:19 AM PST I live 2 hours away but am still emotionally caught up in it |
Question: I can't cope with my intellectually disabled brother's behaviour anymore, what can I do? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 09:53 AM PST I get that he has a favourite sport and that sport is soccer, I fully support him on HIS team but I simply can't cope anymore with him talking about soccer leagues on TV. He will talk about EVERYTHING football related and I mean EVERYTHING. Mainly because he used to antagonise the **** out of me as a child by tackling around me, so he would nearly slam into me or almost trip me while I walked (still does this to some degree even in his 30's) and kicking the football directly at me (not pleasant, it caused me to become nervous at the slightest movement) I have completely grown to despise this sport in all forms YET he continues to talk to be about it despite me on the location actually losing my temper and literally shouting at him how much I can't stand how he talks about it day after day. He then goes back home (we live in separate houses, thank Christ) and when he meets up with me it's like a giant reset button has went off in his head and it is back to square one. The most annoying thing is HE gets angry that I ignore it, even though I have been telling he like 27 years straight every weekend I.SIMPLY.DON'T.CARE. You can't force people to like things and he knows this but his ****** up brain says otherwise. But I can't drag my parents into this, it's out of their hands completely. Sometimes I feel like killing myself because other than his repetitive behaviour , it's like he was born on ******* opposite day and tries to ruin plans for myself and my friends on purpose |
Posted: 06 Jan 2017 09:00 AM PST I have a grandmother that is kinda jealous of me and my mom relationship. Last night out of no where she said your lucky to have your mom, I wish I had my, now her mother live up to 95 of age and I got scared when she said that because now I feel like I won't have my mom anymore after she said that? It's like a jealous friend that says to you it's so nice to have a boyfriend like yours, and then you guys split up. After my grandmother said that to me I fell asleep and had very dark dreams and one of them was of me at a funeral but I believe for myself |
Question: I just cant open up to my mom? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 08:36 AM PST She is loving, she told me that shes working her butt off for me, she gives anything i want (not really, bcs im more of a need than want person.) but i just cant open up to her. I cant express my love for her, and she thinks i dont care about her. I dont like it when she overcompliments me, teases me as well, and I dont even talk to her, give her kisses when she gets home, or get out. Most of the time, I rejoice in relief that she's went, and im just absolutely glad she goes out almost for the whole day. Apart of me also says she goes out and stuff just because she cant rlly do anything with her own family. Our family, which is sort of true. I am a very hard to impress person, and if my mom wanted to take my out, the place where she would take me would have to sound really interesting, or if its food. I'm just 16, but I think when I grow up, i'll realise how much my mom would mean alot to me, but if this whole thing keeps going, would't it be really sad? I give her more trouble than be the good child too. My mom tries everything, but I don't do anything to support it and the more we stay apart from each other. Seriously, I dont understand how my mom still loves me, and.. does she really still even love me? For being such a dull child, she compares how jolly other children are too. Sometimes i'm better off independent. |
Question: Partner wants a motorbike? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 08:29 AM PST My husband and I just bought his dream car (VW GTI). He now wants a motorbike, and it's breaking my heart. I don't want him to get one at all, I will be nervous every time he goes out. He says not to worry because he will drive smart but that doesn't mean everyone else on the road will drive smart as well. I am just so scared and nervous. Is it selfish of him to still get a motorbike? |
Question: Is it bad that i hang out with my little cousin a lot? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 07:57 AM PST I usually go see my little cousin who is 10 on weekends and im 15 year old girl. She looks up to me and i love being a role model to her and spending time with her, as we both make each other laugh very much and are very close. Her brother has recently told me that his mom thinks i should be hanging out with kids my own age, which i do very much on the weekdays. Im just very confused and i just want to know if its bad that i see her a lot. |
Question: Telling my dad I feel unwelcome in his house because of his long term girlfriend..? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 07:50 AM PST My parents divorced when I was 13. My dad met his girlfriend and they have been dating for 6 years. For about 3 years, she was extremely rude and ignorant, and she still is. I could give examples but we would be here all day. I told my dad about this and she apologized, but over the next 3 years, nothing changed. I'm now in college and have more options of when I visit instead of every other weekend. I don't want to hurt his feelings so I thought I would just keep this to myself, but now I think it's a good time to tell him that I have never felt welcome at his house and going there causes me more stress than its worth because I feared being criticized every other weekend for 3 years by an adult. Basically I am walking on eggshells whenever I go there. Should I tell him this or suck it up? |

Question: Dad will want me to marry someone else? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 07:33 AM PST My boyfriend can be an idot, but he's not a bad guy. He's a good guy....My dad will bring up how I need to find a good guy who makes good money. (at least 20 an hour) A Guy who has his own home. And how take me nice restaurants. Every time he should drop at least 100$ for dinner ( the Olive Garden or Chili's don't cut it) My boyfriend is 25, and makes a little over 16 an hour. My dad also shook his head when I said he has roomates. He choose it because rent is cheap, and he can save money easier. (400 a month for Everything) The average 2 bedroom apartment is 750. (that's an older, out dated place)(a friend paid 900 for a badmend 2 bed, 2 bath outdated) My dad said he should be living with his mom, and helping them out. But he also does not want to be over an hour from with without traffic. His mom like it where she lives because she is 10 mins from her job. Plus there is not enough room there. And my dad said he should help them find a bigger place. He couldn't save money before because he lived His bother, His wife, and their kids. They were real bad with money, and always asking him to help out. 500 for a car payment. If he can pay the water Bill so the kids can take a bath. He paid 500... They were always asking him to pick up diapers, and such. He just couldn't keep up. They never paid him back, but he didn't want the kids to go without. |
Posted: 06 Jan 2017 07:20 AM PST His whole family think I'm over reacting but since I'm the one who cleans the toilet I think I can dictate what he eats in my house. He is not capable of cleaning the toilet because he is somewhat incompetent and ill mannered. It's just when he visits town I have him on a diet. Which he needs anyways. No junk food. No pizza. No massive nachos. I feel like that's all he eats and it leave a huge mess in the toilet. Am I over reacting? And if I am is it really a big deal? |
Question: Dad came home drunk??!?!? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 07:10 AM PST So it's summer holidays right now and my dad constantly asks my mum to go out with him to the club, almost everyday. He gambles lots of money that he should be using to pay off the home loan, around $250 each time he goes. My mum always comes home before him and picks him up later on, usually around 3 in the morning and then she has to take my brother to work at 5. I feel so sorry for my mum she seems as if she's after a divorce, every time this happens. When my dads drunk he's the biggest prick on earth I recorded him drunk so in the morning I could show him. How should I approach him in the morning? I want him to be ashamed of himself and embarrassed. He fell on the ground as soon as he opened the door and several other times, pushed my mum around, swore to me (16) and my 11 year old brother who tried to help my dad off the ground while I left him there. I couldn't imagine anyone I know or even a stranger looking at him like that what do i do?? |
Question: Why does my dad act like this? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 06:24 AM PST My dad wanted me to get good grades B's and above... done, I have those.. he wants me to shower in the morning.. fine.. I do that.. all this last week I've been very sick... really sore throat, a bad cough and nasal congestion.. but I'm not allowed to stay home for some reason, even though I'm clearly very sick... he now for no reason puniches me by taking the Internet away because I'm on it too long.. I feel like I would rather my kid be on the Internet instead of going and smoking with his friends (which I've been offered by my friends to do. Internet helps me stay away from weed and ****) I'm also bullied.. so Internet helps me.. why does he take my Internet? I can't find a reason other than he enjoys punishing me... |
Question: I feel like my little 5 year old sister hates me :( ? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 06:05 AM PST Whenever I try to talk to her she makes a face and screams and I get embarrassed because yeah she has her attitude towards the rest of the family but she's always mean to me and acts like she hates me... I love her with my whole heart but I never show it because she just gets mad whenever I even try to get near her. Right now, my mom was changing her for school and me and my brother were talking and he told me a joke and we both laughed and she looked at me and screamed "TASHII" (that's not my name but that's how she says it because she can't talk very well stil... I just want her to like me and for us to have a closer relationship because if we don't , once she passes her attitude age we won't be close and she'll probably hate me and stuff.. What can I do to be closer to her and get her to like me and not scream at me and get angry while I try to become more closer to her? Thank you... :( |

Question: How can I help my crazy, destructive, out of control teenage sisters? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 04:48 AM PST Things have gotten so bad for our family over the past few years that my parents now have ZERO control over my two high school sisters, ages 16 and 17. They completely ignore my mom, and constantly curse out my dad any time he goes near them. They sneak out in the middle of the night and go clubbing at 3am with multiple random guys they meet on the internet, they shoplift, scam people, do drugs, are violent, mean, disrespectful, and think they can do absolutely whatever they want. If anyone tries to talk to them or punish them from something, they will raise HELL. They have both been involved with the police multiple times and have been to jail and psychiatric hospitals in the past. They come home with hundreds of dollars worth of free clothing and won't tell me where or how they got it. I could go on and on about everything they do... What, if anything, can I do to help them? If I try to tell them that anything they're doing is wrong, they get extremely mad at me and then just won't trust me or tell me what they're doing. But it doesn't change anything- they do all the same stuff no matter how I act. If I don't act judgmental, they will at least tell me more. My mom has been talking to multiple psychologists for years trying to get help for our family. My dad has been extremely abusive in every single way and she has been with him for 30 years and refuses to leave. All of the kids are severely depressed and mentally ill. |
Question: Is my mother a bad mother? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 04:41 AM PST I am currently 21 year old guy and when I was in high school, I was sexually assaulted. I did not tell anybody for years. Last week I finally told my mother and she said she felt horrible about what happened. Yesterday we were talking about it again and she said I shouldn't have let it happen to me and that I should just get over it. She went on to say that her life was way more stressful than mine. What she said hurt me as it basically dismissed me. I never did one thing to be put into a position to be assaulted nor did I even ask to be assaulted. Is my mom a bad mother? |
Question: What happens when a 16 year old reports her parents for abuse? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 04:33 AM PST I've been abused my whole life, emotionally and physically. I'm not physically abused anymore but I used to be. But I don't have any proof of abuse, What will the social services or police do? Will I be able to move into my boyfriends parents house? Will my younger sibling's get taken into foster care? What will happen? Can you talk step by step what will happen please. What will happen if I tell one of my teachers about the abuse ? Will they report to social services or will the call up my parents and try to talk it through? My parents will kill me if they know I told anybody, they'd twist everything around and call me a liar and tell the authorities that I deserved it and lie about what happened and deny everything or twist it around so it doesnt sound that bad, or get my sisters (brainwashed) to say she didnt do anything .How do I get proof of the abuse |
Question: Spolied brat children? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 04:10 AM PST I am 53. Why are my children so spolied? They say their education I am responsible for but I am not. I have had them homeschooled since 6th grade, they're supposed to be in 11th grade I stopped buying them school books 3 years ago. They have not done any school for 3 years. They say it is my job to teach them how to drive or get them a bike but it is not. If they want jobs or to go to town where the public transportation is they have to walk as it is 15 miles away. They refuse to saying no one should have to walk 30 miles 12 hours each day. No where in the law does it say I have to do anything like that for them. I hit them when they trigger my bipolar I get enjoyment out of that. Why are they like this? |

Posted: 06 Jan 2017 02:52 AM PST I was where my sister did not expect me to be so she does not know I saw them getting hazed/bullied getting spanked, slapped, squeezed, bounced etc in a very bad way. A very physical and humiliating experience. I heard them discussing the experience saying as they are rather stocked they faced it. They were in pain & discomfort. I suspect she knows I saw. She is also avoiding. I do not know how to approach her & open the discussion. As she & her friends do not want to complain. I feel they should as it is something no girl/woman should face my sister or otherwise. How should I approach her. I also feel it is not first time they faced it. How I should approach her convince her to open up and complain. |
Question: Should I stop communicating with my mom? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 02:38 AM PST My mom is a pretty intelligent woman, but the problem is she uses crack, and they call that the devil's drug. Everytime I seem to be around her bad stuff happen. What should I do? |

Question: I have a problem with my family and they don't want to listen to what I have to say? Posted: 05 Jan 2017 10:38 PM PST I came here for help because my parents don't listen to me. We used to live in a different county because our home was far away from our destinations. Now we live in another place, closer to our destinations; it is expensive and terrible. My brethren ( I want to say that I hate him but I really don't....much) decided to move with us. He is unbearable. He acts like a special person and thinks he is special just because he makes more money than my dad. He and I have history too. I used to live with him and his girlfriend, and they would treat me like ***. Now he still wants to boss me around, even though I live under my parents' umbrella. He doesn't let me turn on the heater in the mornings, and it gets really cold in the mornings. He complains about small things like when he sees an empty box of juice in the fridge, and blames me about it. He is full of himself. My parents are scared to tell him anything because he helps them pay their debts. They say I am the one who causes problems, but I don't. He likes to provoke and boss me around. I wish I was his size to beat him up, I bet he would't treat me like that anymore if I would beat him up. I think he needs a beating, or a girlfriend, because he broke up with ex a long time ago. He is 28 btw. Seriously, this is an insanity. I am alone on this. WHAT CAN I DO??? |

Question: Please Help?! Friend Advice!? Posted: 05 Jan 2017 09:56 PM PST My friend who I'm not talking with at the moment has gotten into smoking weed strongly. I do it too but I still have my priorities straight and still work hard in college. My friend, who is like a brother to me, is in high school and does nothing but smoke weed and think he's hot ****, he doesn't care about school and instead says he wants to go farm in Oklahoma. Anyways the reason why he doesn't want to talk to me is because of 3 reasons: 1: I always buy him things and he never buys me anythin so I asked him to pay me back and called me petty instead, 2: I called out one of his new friends which I think is a sketchy person, 3: he ran away from home and I gave his family the address where he was stays at and he tried kicking my ***. He said he had problems with his family I don't understand, but his two sisters who I'm also friends with are fine and he's actually extremely spoiled and not well disciplined. He has no reason to feel this way. When I was hangin with him, I called him spoiled once and he threatened to kick my ***. However he's all talk as he tried and I talked him down because I don't like fighting good friends. I'm just curious what should I do and if I'm in the wrong. I am so sorry this is long, it's a long story lol. |
Question: Is this a silly reason to be crying? Posted: 05 Jan 2017 09:29 PM PST OK I have a pretty rough family, mental, drugs, you name it. I only have one grandad and we have been close since I was was born. I am now 18 and he is getting older and I can tell he is changing with his age. He always worries about everything. A little mud on the floor or food crumbs and all he wasn't like that before. And I know he won't be around forever because we all pass. I hate the thought of my grandfather leaving us. But I see it coming so I cry about it sometimes. Is this normal? |
Question: My Mom is overprotective, what can I do to change that? Posted: 05 Jan 2017 09:18 PM PST My mom wouldn't let me get my permit till recently as my Dad finally convinced her to. However, she got my birth certificate and ripped it apart without me knowing and the only reason why i know was because i found my birth certificate in one of her drawers looking for some paper. I had to order a new one which is going to take 2-3 weeks and I had to pay $45 for it. My mom always says I can't drive cause she doesn't trust me from not doing drugs, have sex, go partying, etc. I'm currently in all honors/AP classes, Have a 4.25 GPA, Playing 2 Varsity Sports. I do have a girlfriend who my mother does not like cause she is very racist and judgmental to anyone not asian which really annoys me. My mom also get very angry at mad anytime I talk about going to any college not in my hometown or joining the military. She says I have to stay in our hometown and go to the college here and if I argue with her and try to let her understand that I have to learn to be independent and live on my own. She constantly gets mad at me for asking her to take me to practice, get food, etc which I don't understand when she is the one who won't let me drive. My mother just wants to shelter me and never wants for me to leave home and just get a basic 9-5 job. I'm not trying to brag but I really do have a good future if I still strive in my academics and athletics but she just doesn't want me to become anything but a doctor and do nails. I know im ranting but i just dont know what to do. |

Posted: 05 Jan 2017 08:41 PM PST She has never been kissed, she has never had a boyfriend, and most people her age here in Alabama are getting engaged, pregnant, or married. I worry about her and she says that guys have shown her interest and believe me they have. She is 50 pounds overweight and is so insecure but to make matters worse she says she would have to eat 1100 calories a day to lose any weight. Could she also have hypothyroidism? |

Posted: 05 Jan 2017 08:12 PM PST Alright, so i'm in 8th grade at this really expensive private school (approx. 20k) and I have a scholarship making that half. I always have alot of pressure from my parents about the money and telling me I CANT AT ALL GET BAD GRADES. last time, I got 2 b's and rest a's and they screamed at me. My mom screams at me and my dad hits me. this time, I had a's but during exams i did really bad because that whole week i had headaches and migraines during my exams. I did horrible and I didn't even finish one of them causing me to get a 67 on it! I got a 67, a 78, a 79, an 82, and a 95 on them all. Also, i think grades go home weekends, so please help? |

I have never gone to a party I have never drunk alcohol I have never done drugs, I do gym 3 times a week so I'm deffienty not unfit. I ride my bike everyday for around about 2 hours. Question: Can my mom hold my car hostage? Posted: 05 Jan 2017 07:46 PM PST My mother HATES my boyfriend and is livid that I'm coming back home from a trip to New York, she intended me to stay but I couldn't due to a last minute financial crisis and not receiving money I intended to get. That's another story. I left my car in California obviously and left my mom my main set of keys and gave my boyfriend the spare when I initially get the car. So, I'm coming back home from New York Thursday 01/12/17. She is saying she is going to report my car stolen if my boyfriend tries to take it. He is taking it to pick me up from the airport because my mom works by the time I land and no one else is able to get me. Is there a non emergency number I can call in order to make sure my boyfriend is able to get my car? My name is on the registration and he and I both are on the insurance. What should I do? Please help and thank you for taking the time to read!!! |
