Some people say it's like rewarding her for getting pregnant at 13. I think a baby shower is a celebration of new life and a way of coming together to support and love on the mom, and help supply her with things the baby will need, not condoning the circumstances. Opinions?

My parents fly to Israel a lot ( like once in 2 months for a a week or two) because my grandma lives there and she is after surgery... So every time my parents leave my brother is in charge of me (he's 23 I'm 14) We've always been close,He drives me home from school, buys me food and cloths and all that, we eat dinner together, watch tv, he's a dance choreographer so when I can I go to a few of his classes ( I'm a gymnast). He watches me as i walk into school and as I walk out. He asks me everyday if anyone is bullying me. He even has those awkward talks! In the car! he starts telling me if any man is touching me that i best tell him example: I was walking to the car with a boy from my English class and my brother was seriously glaring at him the whole time, He was staring him dead in the eye and did it until he left. another example: My brother want to one of my gymnastics meets, so one of my guy friends slapped my butt as I was walking up and I laughed After that I went to go look for my brother and he was outside the building, and told that boy something like "don't you dare touch my sister again is that clear?" (He saw me standing there and didn't even care!) Whenever my friends come over they stare at him (He's attractive) but he glares at them and gives them an angry look but when i stare at him he just smiles! He is SO MEAN to my friends and hates to deal with having girlfriends. but with me he treats me like a fragile flower and it's starting to make me wonder..?

Yesterday evening, I had a gathering with me and all of my friends. It was pretty fun until another group of friend arrived with one of them being my ex. I asked my friends, why is he here and they said they're friends with and they want to hang out him. I told them that it s their right to be friends with whomever but, I don't want association with him. He was being weird and creepy and kept following me everywhere last night. My friends told me that they forgot to give me a heads up and apologized. This my event that I arranged and I shouldn't have to be the one to take my leave from my own event. What should I do about this? He makes me really uncomfortable and is rude to me and some of my other friends who werent in that group. How can I ask him to politely leave? What if it's not at my house? This happened at a bowling alley and restaurant and I arranged this social event among my friends.

So I m 16 years old, and without getting into too many details (it s long & very personal) my mom s seriously messed up repeatedly over the past 2 years or so, and one time could have had permanent repercussion to my health. She seems to accept the fact that she messed up and wants to make amends, but I don t know what I want/need in order to stop being upset at her. I m not lording it over her in arguments or to get my way or anything, I ve just been staying quietly hurt and bitter, and honestly I m not sure how to put everything behind me. Is this petty of me? I feel like a bad person for not knowing how to let this go. How can I stop being upset & bitter about this? I don t want to hate my mother, but I can t seem to get over this.

I'm 27 and kind of an alcoholic I was diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder/ Depression.. I punched all of my ex girlfriends in the face and black their eyes and now nobody wants to be around me.. Sometimes I rage out on my family members I almost hit my mother.. How do I fix this???..

I have 2 kids with the same woman. a 15 month old daughter and a 1.5 mo old son. We broke up well she was pregnant with my son. I wanted to stay together and have the cliche family but sometimes it s better for the kids if the parents are apart. I m 25 and my children s Mother is 26. We split custody with our daughter. But she will not let me take my son, because she s breast feeding. She says I m a bad father for even asking to take him for a day. I ve offered to buy a breast pump so he can continue to drink breast milk and she just ignores me. She can be very childish. Here are some more details - I live with my mom .She lived with us for 3 years. She lives with her mom and adult sister.our families hate each other So I can t go toher house to see my son unless I m picking up my daughter I get to see him for 5 min. I have no proof she is still breastfeeding. hence she denied the breast pump. I have threatened to take her to court before but she just laughs at me. This is not that relevant but she has had an on and off diagnosed eating disorder for years and i believe if she is breast feeding , her milk lacks nutrition that my son needs due to her own demons. She is about 95 lbs. she failed a drug test for marijuana during delivery. That was a shock to me. They did a follow-up drug test a week later and she was clean. Before she was pregnant we used to smoke a lot of marijuana together. And I know that she is smoking again. What can I do to see my son more consistently

I use to be really shy and quiet as a little girl but as I have gotten older I know I cant be that way towards people. Yet, I am still kind of quiet compared to others and I can stand out easily in a group for being quiet even if I do talk it just never seems to be enough. My boyfriend and I have been in a relationship for 1 year and this has always been an issue. I try so hard to keep the conversation going on but he just doesn't seem interested. A lot of times I might start talking about something but I have a hard time bringing up the next subject (by the way We are are both 27). My job is pretty boring and I have nothing to share about work like honestly nothing at all so i feel like i end up saying basic simple things to try and show him that I want to talk for example like bringing up something about something i seen on FB, IG etc. When he talks about his job or anything I always show interest and try to touch on the subject because of course if i didn't say anything at all that would be horrible.

Things were great, we always text daily when we aren't together, we haven't argued or anything. The last thing he texted me was good night baby I love you. After that I've texted and said good morning but nothing, I got worried but I see that he's been on and off Facebook, yesterday I texted him on Facebook and got nothing. After that I just kinda gave up. Idk what's up and idk what to do next. We're both 22, been together for a year btw

What i realize is when you doing well and everything is going great you have a lot of people that want to know you, be next to you and be your friend but its when your DOWN and things are just a mess and your life is just a mess that you find out who REALLY CARES.

I've lost 4 family members in a terrible car accident weeks ago, I've been overwhelmed and I am a teen guy. My friend is always checking one me and this was just one of those unbearable days.. , I was telling him how stressed I was and how terrified and worried I've been.how I've been wanting to end everything.. He's been so helpful and supportive these past few weeks but today He just put "stop" why? Do you think I'm annoying to my friend now and that he doesn't want to talk to me anymore?

So I'm from Chicago, a couple of years ago I went to California on a business trip. (I paint cars and helped a company expand to San Fran.). While I was out there I met a beautiful girl and we hit it off right away. We hung out for almost 2 months before I got into a fight with my boss and quit. I flew out of California bummed. We both still talked but did our own thing. Fast forward 2 years she came to visit her friend about 3 hours from chicago and asked if I wanted to meet up. I said yes and she stayed with me for a week. When she left I was pretty sad I told her to move ton Chicago but she has a little girl. She told me to go to San Francisco with her and I'm really really considering it. Am I crazy or stupid or a combination of both?

So basically me and my boyfriend are together 3 years, I ve always lived away for our relationship for college mon-thur. His hygiene is really starting to get at me, it always has but it is starting to become something I can no longer stand. He will have a shower when I prompt him to do so, he will brush his teeth when I prompt it. I also got him to go to the dentist, the dentist told him he had gum disease and that he needed to get his teeth deep cleaned twice to get rid of it. To please me he wen t once and then never returned to the problem is still there. I tell him all the time but his excuse is always that he s just so tired after his 8-5 Job! Sorry but my 8-8 job still allows me to shower etc. He s amazing in every other way but I don t feel I should have to tell him to have a shower, and if I don t tell him he will just not have a shower for a good few days. Help!!!!!!

Today he has gotten into all of my fing stuff and its really pissing me off. I have told my parents about it and they say 'It is what a six year old does" And it has been ALL WEEK LONG! He has gotten into my treats, and like all of the stuff I Own.. I need some help with this I am storing them currently in the storage room but IDK how long it is gonna be untill he finds them. Please tell me some things to do..

They see each other like once every six years and shake cans and that's about it they're not close at all. It's not that they don't get along it's just their parents aren't close therefore they never knew each other well.

So there's this guy I like and he likes me back (no doubt about it). He used to ask me every night if he could call me and he was always concerned that I didn't like him calling me every night. (But I really do ;-;) I told him I don't mind at all but lately he hasn't been asking to call me. I'm not sure if he's reall busy or if the concern about me not likeing him calling me finally got to him and now he doesn't want to ask. I'm not really sure what to do, I want to ask if he can do a call later tonight but he hasn't been calling me just cause he was busy I'd feel bad. I also feel like I'm not putting enough effort into whatever type of relationship we have. Im shy so saying things like "I love you" or stuff that kind of shows I'm attracted to him make my whole body practically shut down. So help please. Also we are not dating, which seems weird but he lives to far for me to drive to see him which is why we are not dating. HELP!!!! Update: i want to be his gf im 15 so i cant just ask my parents to drive me 5 hours away to see a guy. Thing is i dont want to ask him into a relationship with a girl he cant talk to or see irl and the relationship will die before we can really meet. Also he is a good friend i dont want to lose that aswell

So i really put myself in a position. I got feelings for my good female friend, who has a boyfriend. I just wanna put is on a cooldown so we can go back to being just friends, but when I tried so she got sad and angry for my unprovoked cold behaviour.
