Question: What to do about bullying? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 05:50 PM PST my friends, ok not really friends anymore I'm gonna cal them people. These people never give me respect anymore, we were like besties since 5th grade but now this year all they do is ruin my stuff, push me and hit me sometimes, and make fun of me and make me cry yet everyone else they're really nice to. Idk what to do, I tell an adult and they don't really care they just warn them. And if I tell the people will just call me a snitch and make fun of me even more. |
Question: How can I stop being so attached to people, and rely on them so much? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 05:43 PM PST I get so easily attached to new people that I meet, and not that I don't have friends but it's like I am tired of them. Whenever someone new starts talking to me and becomes my friend, I become so easily attached like...I rely on them so much for my entertainment and my happiness, which in the future will/has hurt me. It's like I have to talk to that person each and every hour until I get tired of them after a couple weeks/months (then find someone else to latch on to). I wish I could just be happy on my own, anyway any advice? Graciii |
Question: Do I have a jealous friend? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 05:34 PM PST One of my friends that I have been close with for the last few years has been saying weird things lately. She's also 10 years older than me. For example I've always been bigger on the bottom than I am the top, like a large bikini bottom doesn't even cover the whole cheek. And I've always been told I have such a nice butt, etc. and recently girls at work have noticed a difference because I figured I'd get back into the squat routine and have been for a while. So yesterday while eating dinner I said something like the food is going straight to my bottom (like I always say sometimes) and she says, "you don't have a butt" and joking I said, "I wish I didn't sometimes" and in a completely serious voice she says, "you don't"...which is a little messed up because I was telling her about the gym and I think I'm seeing results. It's not like I talk about it all the time or think I'm hot sh*t, but she's always thinking her butt is super fine and I don't ever say anything lol. Then she did it again a couple weeks ago when I found out I was approved for a mortgage and had some good things happening finally. She saw a happy post I made on Facebook and texted me cuz she was so curious, so when I told her she only replied with "nice" whereas other friends were excited to go house hunting. I know she doesn't have credit and maybe didn't make smart financial choices, but at least be happy? It's making me not want to do anything with her. Is she just jealous or something? |
Question: Think my brother isn't the father of one of his kids? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 05:33 PM PST Long story short: I lent my brother my laptop for the weekend while he was waiting for his new one to arrive. His wife dropped off my laptop this afternoon. When I went to login to my email, I noticed that she was still logged in. I noticed a really long chain of messages with (who I'm assuming) is one of her friends that had my brothers name in the body. After skimming through the message, it turns out my brothers wife is actually concerned that he is not the father of their youngest kid (who is almost a year old). She was telling her friend how guilty she feels and how she's almost positive the baby belongs to another man. Her friend has advised her not to say anything, and she seems to agree. I am livid and can't get this out of my head. I want to tell him, but the way I got the info seems sneaky. Should I say something and potentially break up their family? |
Question: Guys: Do you get offended if your girlfriend is ticklish? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 05:23 PM PST So, I'm like really ticklish all over my body. So far whenever I got with a guy, I keep laughing when he touches me. And I don't want him to think that he did something bad or that I'm laughing at him. I'm just really ticklish and I can't stop laughing when I'm touched. Will guys think that's okay or get like pissed and think I'm being mean? |
Question: My best friend gets mad at me for the smallest things?!? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 05:16 PM PST So, me and my best friend Bella have been friends for 5 years, and I love her to death and she is so amazing. But I cant stick up for myself because im afraid if i tell her to stop she will get even more mad at me. So I feel like im being attacked by my best friend. For example, this weekend i had a sleepover with Bella and Ashley. We were all having a good time and I was talking to Bella. Bella started to get mad at mad and yell at me because I couldnt think of what to do. Then Ashley was saying how frizzy her hair was. So, I told ashley that she could use some of my hair stuff in my bag. Then Bella got pissed of and started to yell at me saying how im not suppose to talk to other people when you are having a conversation with someone else. But my conversation with bella had already ended minutes before i told Ashley that. She ended up ignoring me for 10 minutes until we decided to play "what are the odds". I ended up having to sing a song. When i was done singing the song for my dare, Bella didnt think that was my actual voice. So again she got mad at me and started hitting me so hard in my head that i started to get dizzy and i had a headache for 2 days. Or if its lunch time and I get ashey's lunch box but not hers she will get mad, or if i dont let her copy off my homework, or i take to long to get out of class. The list could go on forever. I love my best friend, but it just really hurts me that she does this to me. Am i actually doing something wrong or is it her? I dont want to end my friendship with her because she is a good friend, but what should i do? She tells me all the time that if I need to stop doing things wrong or she is going to end our friendship. But i just dont see what im doing wrong. |
Question: Someone breaks a promise so do you forgive them? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 05:12 PM PST A new hamburger place was about to have a grand opening on Sunday. A friend and I agreed to go on Monday because I could not make it Sunday. The friend then texts me on Sunday with a picture of the Sunday grand opening and eats there without me. I then say..I thought we agreed to go on Monday. The friend responds that we will still go on Tuesday. I asked the friend if he went alone and the friend didnt answer that question. Would you be upset? |
Question: How can me and a friend spend the coming 10 weeks? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 05:04 PM PST Hello, me and friend both follow the same study. Coming period we'll be having alot of free time and since we don't want to be spending all of our time at home. I was hoping you people might have some ideas on what to do. Something like a class or a design competition. Notes: We follow a design study, anything asociated with design would be great We live in the netherlands We're both in our third year Thanks in advance! |
Question: Should I start a fight with this one *****? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 05:03 PM PST Alright so this girl has been talking **** about me and my other friends for a few months now. Yesterday, I punched her and then she snitched to the principal and now I m in ISS. I m so ******* done. So now I was wondering if it would be a wise idea to punch her out again? Also what would be the consenquence of a second time violence offense in high school? |
Question: I farted at school and cannot go back tomorrow? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 04:59 PM PST This may seem like a fib but please read before judging. On Friday during English class, we had an exam and I had to use the bathroom. Unfortunately, it was occupied at the moment and we're only allowed to go one at a time. I was trying my best to be patient and wait it out. I had a very strong urge to use the bathroom as I had atrocious gas. Not only was it tremendously difficult to make my gas go unnoticed, it was ten times as demanding to not poop my pants. Eventually, the bathroom was free and I got up to go. The very second I stood up from my seat, the gas became uncontrollable and it took me by surprise. One after another, the farts escaped like bubble wrap popping, one of which was exceptionally loud. The resulting smell was the even worse part. The intense egg/sewer stench left the class speechless, covering their noses, pointing at me, and moving to the opposite side of the room. I even felt like I'd slightly pooped my pants. I'm a very shy and quiet student. Something like this has never occurred to me and I could tell the others were just as shocked as I was. Immediately, my face turned bright red as the embarrassment sank in and I walked swiftly out of the classroom into the restroom, where I stayed for about 15 minutes trying to process everything. I came back when the bell rang and was unable to finish my exam. The teacher also witnessed the incident and didn't say a word, only making a disgusted face at me and nodded while I went to the bathroom. Please, help. I could hear students snickering about it in the hallways after class, however I did a good job of avoiding them for the rest of the day. I kept my head down and didn't want to speak to anyone. I'm 100% sure it's going to be mentioned tomorrow and I can't even imagine confronting the situation and discussing the circumstance. I am very easily embarrassed and sensitive when it comes to being humiliated this way. I just don't know how to approach the situation! I can't even believe this happened! |
Question: Suicidal Ex Best friend!? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 04:07 PM PST I stopped being friends with my old best friend because we grew apart and we would constantly argue. Plus we were teenagers at the time. I have new friends, getting ready to graduate college , engaged and 6 months pregnant. She's very jealous of my new friends and new life. She and her mother are very close to my family and I'm constantly being harassed to befriend her. My fiancee got upset and lashed out on them and told them to leave me alone. Now I found out she's cutting herself (self harm) what to do?? |
Question: I always buy good birthday gifts for my friend but they don't? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 03:49 PM PST Okay, before you go on about me being picky, ungrateful and crap, but hear me out on this. Just as the question states, I always get my friends good birthday presents, usually around $20 but it's good quality and it's something they like. However, when it's my birthday, it's just food or something obviously cheap as $5! I'm thankful that they got me something, but compared to the stuff I buy for them it's like wtf?? And these are friends who I've been around with for more than 3 years! It just makes me wonder if I'm not a good friend or something. Anyway, I'm just wondering if I just stop being spendy with their gifts and get them cheap gifts as well. |
Question: Someone obsessed with causing me harm (help needed)? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 03:44 PM PST So long story short, there is this person who a friend of mine brought to my living room in my house where I hold a weekly gathering between me and my friends where just chill and joke around and have fun. This one person was obsessing over me in particular and was causing a good deal of friction between himself and my other friends. For example he would be very demanding about beating me in a one on one match on Smash, to the point that every time I win he would overreact by storming out of the house and slamming the door multiple times, thing is he refused to play anyone else. Furthermore I went by the name Moby in Smash, and his nickname was "KillMoby" we thought it was a joke at the time and man were we ever wrong. Due to his constant over reactions and obsessive nature some of my friends requested that we remove him from our group, and because of this I gave him a warning and then removed him from the group when he increased the level of friction. The thing is that if I went to see a movie with another friend he would harass that friend until he could join us, whatever I he made it a point to be a part of it. So for example if i went to Sweden to attend my sister in laws wedding he would go to Sweden and force himself into the wedding just so he could be apart of it. So when i kicked him from the group, he made it a point to cause me as much harm as possible. Cont |
Question: Jokes in the Italian Language? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 03:42 PM PST I have to tell jokes in Italian for a school function. If anybody knows any, that would be helpful. Can you tell me if these make sense. 1) Did you hear about the guy whose whole left side was cut off? He's all right now. Avete sentito parlare il ragazzo di cui tutto il lato sinistro è stato tagliato fuori? E 'tutto in questo momento. 2) I'd tell you a chemistry joke but I know I wouldn't get a reaction. Io direi una battuta di chimica, ma so che non avrei avuto una reazione. 3) Did you hear about the guy who got hit in the head with a can of soda? He was lucky it was a soft drink. Avete sentito parlare il ragazzo che è stato colpito alla testa con una lattina di soda? Ha avuto la fortuna che era una bevanda analcolica. |
Question: Why does my friend say we are friends but she acts otherwise? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 02:54 PM PST I think she can be a good friend and she even brought up that we have been friends for many years. But when we hangout at malls, etc, she always walk faster than me? As if she wants me to follow where she wants to go? |

Question: I get insecure and jealous? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 02:47 PM PST When entering highschool my best friend from elementary wanted us to hang out with this other person from the same elementary school, which I was fine with and still am because I was friends with that person. Overtime I feel like my best friend got closer to that other person and I feel like my best friend doesn t see me as close because on Messenger I can tell they both text each other more often than they message me and I get insecure about what they re talking about and how my best friend doesn t go to me to talk instead. I guess I m jealous that they re closer now and I just think about how I m not as appreciated as the other person. It makes sense that they re close since they are in the same sport and spend more time together and I get anxious about whether or not they re hanging out together without me. Overall our clique gets along well, I m just ranting about the little things that bother me. Its not a huge deal but these things are on my mind sometimes. |
Question: My Friend Is In A Bad Relationship? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 02:31 PM PST So my friend has convinced herself that she's hopelessly in love with this guy who she's been seeing for some time now. She doesn't see it but it's clear that he's manipulative and he acts innocent about it. He always ends up making her feel like she's in the wrong about EVERYTHING and he's rude to her from what she tells me. It's an unhealthy relationship and they're both two young people who are dealing with tons of their own issues. But she just sees it as some beautiful young love, which it's not, she just wants to be in love. Ever since she started dating him, he is her number one top priority which I can understand, but she's let her grades fall, she doesn't have any hobbies anymore, it's done our relationship horribly, she's always blowing me off for him, always fighting with her parents. I think he frustrates her but she doesn't want to show it so she's always snapping at everyone else randomly. One time I hinted at how he may have been affecting our friendship and she immediately got defensive and mad and just told me I was wrong and jealous. I never brought it up again after that and Im afraid too, because she can't see the truth. I feel like as her friend I should try to open her eyes a bit but she's so stubborn and insists on loving him because she wants to be loyal. On the other hand I feel like it's not my place and business anyway. Should I leave it or try to interfere? And if so how do I bring it up without her freaking out on me? i appreciate any help thanks |

Question: He do I get my friend to stop being so dependent on others? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 01:58 PM PST My friend is SOOOO dependent on others. It's very annoying because she can't just figure things out for herself. For example: in class we had to mark a plot with how we felt and stiff, the directions weren't clear and there was a sub. She kept asking over and over what we do, how we mark it, obviously I didn't know, and the sub was no help. But it got so annoying that she would keep asking BECAUSE SHE THINK FOR HERSELF AND TRY TO MAKE INFERENCES TO MAKE IT RIGHT. It's just so annoying , and that goes for other classes too, she keeps asking the same question when I don't know the answer. How can I get her to stop being so dependent on others? |

Question: Getting close to a girl's friend to get to her? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 01:24 PM PST I like a girl and asked her out twice but both times she had excuses and I heard through her friend that she's only interested in Asian guys (I'm white). In general she's shown little to no interest. However I now have an opportunity to get real close friendship wise with a close friend of hers. Do you think there's a chance that being friends with her close friend and showing my value could get her to give me a shot? |

Question: Question for guys: why would my male friends say this? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 11:09 AM PST One of my guy friends best friend is a virgin and they were making jokes that I should take his virginity. Then they all were like "oh no she'll destroy him, there won't be anything left" I didn't really get the joke... We joke really around a lot about the most stupid things... but this time I didn't get it... it's been puzzling me... At first I thought they were saying I'm fat but I weigh 120 pounds...they won't tell me what they meant. (Their my college mates, I've known them since September last year) |
Question: Did I do something wrong here. What do you think? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 10:58 AM PST I am a single 20 year old guy who was hanging our with my buddy John, my age. John's sister Amanda age 16 came in crying and heart broken. Amanda had worked many weekends to save money for her dress for the big school dance today. Amanda's date for the dance had just called and said he was not taking her unless she promised sex after the dance. Amanda told him off but was devastated that she was not going to the dance. John asked me to take Amanda to the dance. He said I trust you completely with Amanda. I said I am a little old to be dating a 16 year old girl. John said it isn't a date. Look at it as a favor for a friend. John told Amanda she would be the envy of every girl at the dance. I did take Amanda to the dance and I think she enjoyed it. Several of the other girls at the dance ask me to dance with them and I did. The next day Amanda told me I had turned the worst day of her life into the best day ever of her life and she could not thank me enough for what I did for her. One of mothers of the girls at the dance called me up the next day and called me a pedophile for going to the dance with a 16 year old girl. What do you think? Did I do something wrong? |
Posted: 29 Jan 2017 10:55 AM PST Okay, I'm in middle school. I have 3 core friends. A, B, and C. A&B are kind of going off on their own, but that's not the problem and I'm okay with it. Basically I have a lot of friends. C is my best friend and I care a lot about her, but people really like her. She's in the friend group with all my other friends and they have secrets, gossip and code names all the time. They blatantly talk about them around me, but never actually tell me.They tell EVERYONE except me. Even people they aren't really friends with know the secrets. They said they'd tell me things, but they never did. One example: They kept laughing whenever "22" came up in conversation. C eventually told me it was just funny because it was the sports number of a boy in our school. I got excited because they don't usually tell me things, and when I told someone else in the friend group, she got all serious and asked me what C told me. When I told her she said, "that's all?" And it hit me with another wave of depression. I can't talk to them about it, because I have serious anxiety. But please don't think my friends are evil. They hang out with me, they just don't tell me things that are pretty much even public knowledge. I'm really depressed now, because all my friends are in the group except A and B, even the "emo"(not really) girls that don't care know the secrets. I've even tried dropping hints, but they don't notice. BTW C only hears the secrets, not tells them. |
Question: Have a cake and eat it too? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 10:50 AM PST My wedding is this coming March. My cousin and her boy friend offered to make the cake. While it is a very sweet offer of them to make it, except neither one of them is baker. My cousin makes cakes, just in general..from a box and there is nothing special about them, as for her best friend, well she makes pies, award winning pies, but has never made a cake. I am so worried about this. I wish they would just purchase a cake. Should I just go ahead and order one on my own, just in case. What would I say though, when they see the other cake? |
Question: Needing someone's opinion? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 10:30 AM PST I've lost 4 family members in a terrible car accident weeks ago, I've been overwhelmed and I am a teen guy. Question: Should I stop doing this? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 10:29 AM PST I am a guy in college. My mom told me a friend of hers about her age had bought a new computer and she needed help learning how to use it. I agreed to help her. I went to her house to train her. A better description of her house would be a mansion. When I met her, I thought she was the most beautiful women I had ever seen in my life. She was gorgeous. Beautiful face, figure to die for and I assume very rich. She was anxious to lean all about her computer. I went to her house every Saturday and trained her for about 2 hours. I told her to call me any time she had a problem. She offered to pay me but I told her I don't take money for helping friends. Then I got a call from her husband telling me to stay away from his wife as she might start have feelings for me. This was a total surprise as I did not know she was married. Her husband was never there when I was there and she was not wearing a ring. The next time she called me, I told her what had happened and to say she was outraged was an understatement. She told me she was in the final stages of getting a divorce and her soon to be ex husband had no right to be calling me and making demands. She wanted me to continue the training sessions. Should I? Will I get caught in the middle of a divorce by continuing the training? |
Question: How to stop my daughter? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 10:23 AM PST I am using youngest daughter account to do this. My oldest daughter is going around telling everyone I **** my self. She told my freinds, family and workers. She is making me look like a joke and and not professional! I confronted Her a bout it and she laughed in my face. She thinks spreading rumors about her dad shitting himself is funny! It's not funny at all!!!!! How do I stop this??? I told everyone it wasn't true but they believe her cause I mean who would say that they crapped their pants. I can't take it anymore I am a laughing stock. She said "its funny that people think you crapped yourself." I'd be fine with it but she told everyone I **** myself almost every day. Everyone poops themself every now and then but for her to say I do it every day is rude. She thinks it's the most funniest thing ever but it's not!!!!! |

Question: How can I convince my dad to take me on a trip to meet a close online friend? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 09:30 AM PST i ve known my closest online friend since i was 10, i m 15 now, and i have always wanted to meet them. my dad knows about this friend and knows how close we are. i live in southern ohio and my friend lives a few hours outside of boston, massachusetts. i ve talked to my dad about it but he never takes me seriously, which upsets me. i ve skyped with this person tons of times, and i always talk to them. they re only one year older than me and my dad knows everything about this person that i do, which is everything. my friend s mom knows about me, and i ve even spoken to her. so, how do i convince my dad to take me to meet my friend, and have him take me seriously while i talk to him about it? (please don t try to warn me on meeting this person, that s not what i m looking for.) |
Question: Should I try to be close with a mutual friend? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 07:40 AM PST I have a friend who really wants me to be friends with another one of her friends. I don't trust this person at all. She met her in high school and I've known her since she was a kid, we're in college now. While I do wish her the best and think she deserves to be happy, I don't necessarily want to hang out with her. She's said bad things and twisted people's words, even about this friend, for as long as I can remember. While I understand that she thinks people change and I should give her a chance, I think I have a right to not necessarily want to be extremely close with this person. I will never be rude to her and if we're both invited to something with this friend I wouldn't care. I'm just wondering if I should have to be close with this person as I don't necessarily feel I should have to and friend does. This is not someone I would be able to be myself around regardless of liking them or not because I'd be extremely careful that I don't say anything she could twist, make rumors about, or outright lie about. The only time my friend gets in to trouble is with this person. I know her decisions are her choice but I do feel it speaks to the character of this friend and she has bragged that she can get my friend to "Do whatever she wants". That statement, said directly to me, is what made me decide I was no longer going to hang out with her. Am I just being ridiculous and jshould I just hang out and pretend to be normal? |
Question: Advice about moving on from high school? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 07:37 AM PST I m a hs senior and I will graduate in May. I m terrified to graduate and move on. I hate change and don t deal well with it. When I went into hs, I got very anxious and depressed and almost killed myself sophomore year. But despite that, I turned things around junior year and have mostly enjoyed it since. I don t have a lot to leave behind honestly. I m not very popular, I ve made more friends this year, but I think Im just afraid of leaving the familiarity and diving into another depression. I m rooming with a friend literally 30 minutes away from home and I m still afraid. Whenever I do something fun at school, I get depressed about leaving it. Anyone else struggled with this? What made moving on easier? Did it help kind of deleting anything hs in ur life? Or holding onto those things? |

Question: No friends. isolated in my room all time. who can relate? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 04:06 AM PST sometimes i feel like im the only one who has no friends and stays inside all the time. i was always a loner. but in the last year ive completely been in my room. i never go out. i havent had a job in months. i dont have friends. im 22 years old and i believe i'll die alone. the older you get, the harder it is to make friends. ive never had a girlfriend. im still a virgin. |
Question: Is it wrong to change circle of friends when you become successful? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 03:56 AM PST So I'm African American, and growing up was different for me because I didn't grow up like the expected black person. I had it good. However, when around other blacks, I was made fun of because, to them, I was "white." Basically how former First Lady Michelle Obama stated how she was treated growing up for being educated. I am college educated, and I feel that it wasn't until I went to college that I found like minded people from similar backgrounds such as myself. It was the best experience ever! Now, I am no longer in college, and I'm finding it hard to find like minded people. I am married, and my husband's folks are not like myself (they're cool, but I don't feel like I can relate to them). I dont consider myself to be fake, I just dont open up completely around them because of what they might say (fear of judgement I guess you can say). I am looking for employment (I'm very close to landing a good paying job), and now I feel that with a good paying job that I'll be able to do the things I've dreamed of. I admit, it is a little boujee; however, I don't put others down for not having things. I just want to celebrate who I am and what I love with others who are on the same page. I do plan on finding new people to hang with because my husband's folks just don't do it for me as far as friendships. We have different taste. Is it wrong that I want to hang around a different crowd when I get a better job with more income? |
Posted: 29 Jan 2017 03:40 AM PST My friend, for this I ll name her Emily, wants to shave half her head, get a nose piercing, and dye her hair black. Emily is 13 years old today and she s rather immature for her age, she recently spent 15 dollars on nothing but ninja turtles headphones and refuses to go anywhere without her teddy bear. She wants to get her nose pierced because "She wants to find who she is" and wants to get her hair dyed and cut for the same reason. I personally really really think she ll regret both of these choices later.. I ve made it quite obvious that I think its a idiotic idea... Should I just shut up and leave it alone or continue to tell her she ll regret it. She s my best friend and has been for 3 years and I just don t want to see her family get a bad rap or her not be respected anymore |

Question: I feel annoyed / jealous that some people's parents just buy them everything? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 03:23 AM PST I guess I feel annoyed that some people get things so easily. People I know have their parents buy them brand new cars, and their parents also paid for their lessons, insurance, etc. And give them expensive gifts and all that. Now I'm not a materialistic person, but sometimes I feel frustrated because everything I've had to get myself with no financial help from my parents. I pay for my university fees, I paid $1,000 for my driving lessons, a couple thousand on a car + insurance etc. and then since I can't afford a new car my car's got more problems easily coming up compared to a new car which I have to pay for. but I know people who don't even need to worry about that. They don't even know what insurance means or anything about it because they never had to worry. and , overall I'm having trouble financially and still worse off than them all. how can I stop feeling this way?? |

Question: Am i being sensitive? Posted: 29 Jan 2017 02:46 AM PST my bestfriend doesn't tend to think before she speaks and makes comments about my appearance, and though I feel like what she says is rude, she says these comments in a joking manner to hide the fact she just insulted me. For example; she has made fun of me for having no eyebrows multiple times because I have reallylight hairs that I am very insecure about, She has told me "your body goes from big at the top to small as it goes down its weird" as if she doesn't know I have insecurities about my body which she does, and has made fun of me for having a "mustache" , she knows I have social issues and that i get called "awkward" by everyone at school and that it makes me sad but she made a comment about how awkward I am shortly after, knowing how sad it makes me,, Idk if im just being sensitive or what help |
Posted: 29 Jan 2017 02:16 AM PST I am quite a silent person, but when it comes to study groups and group assignments, I talk quite often since I'm quite at the top of class. I mean my ideas are most of the time accepted. My classmates also frequently ask me questions and my opinion on some issues. Even my classmates admitted that I have lots to say but I'm too quiet. They said that means I have cooler things to say but only at the right time compared to everyone else who talks a lot all the time. The thing is, it makes me sad the fact that I don't always have a close friend. It makes me envy when my classmates go for a meal together after class and all when I just walk to my room or the library by myself. Sometimes I think if that's because I keep quiet or are they simply ignoring me? Are they scared to ask me or do they dislike me? Or could it be that they feel inferior to me? I feel so sad right now. Am I a loner? I do feel lonely. |
Question: I think I hate my best friend right now? Posted: 28 Jan 2017 11:53 PM PST So, I cannot stand my best friend Anna recently. We are 14 and freshman (I'll be 15 in March) +have been friends since age 7. I usually love her but recently she is driving me insane and I never want to be around her. Everthing she does is rude and annoys me. So 1st she is judgemental. She talks major crap about everyone. then she wants to be the center of attention(w boys especially), but then when she gets attention for something bad (at the same time true), she freaks. She leaves me out of everything&rubs it in my face. She makes bad decisions and she knows exactly what she is doing but then she is always shocked by the obvious consequences. Another thing is Anna treats me like a f****** child&makes fun of me because I haven't made the same (disgusting) decisions that she has & I have morals unlike her. She is extremely entitled and everything goes her way. I'm there for her whenever she says she needs me but then when I need someone to talk to she's not. I feel like she goes out of her way to make me feel bad about myself and always thinks she's better than everyone. Of course shes my bestfriend & I love her there are times I couldnt live without her but she has changed and she makes me so angry. Idk what to do because there is no way I can get out of this friendship without losing most of my friends b/c they will all be on her side. And people even tell me how bad of a friend / person she is to me. I won't be able to get a new best friend either. What do I do? |
Question: My best friend found a new best friend. What now? Posted: 28 Jan 2017 11:24 PM PST We were always a group of three (let's call them A and B) Well I was always a little closer with A and b had other friends. Yesterday B organized a party and I left early. Then today I went on fb and they tagged each other in sister posts. I know I am slightly overdoing it. Anyway, they have more things in common and they are slowly bonding closer and I am becoming the third wheel. Should I find a new best friend or try to fix this? |

Question: Do actions really speak louder than words? Posted: 28 Jan 2017 10:13 PM PST I am moving in with a guy friend of mine who I always hang out with and talk to. We dated for 2 months but we decided to just be friends and that is completely fine with both of us so there are no hard feelings. For my birthday he ordered me chinese, he wants me to move in with him which obviously I am, he wants to teach me how to play a couple video games, we talk a lot and get along fine, we act like good friends and I thought we were. He made a comment the other night about how he doesn't like a character because she's annoying and I said well I'm annoying and you like me just fine and he shrugged and said he tolerates me. He does like to pick on me and so I'm really trying to let this bother me because the way he treats me and talks to me etc says he likes me just fine but it still has me so confused. |
Posted: 28 Jan 2017 09:52 PM PST One of my friends that I have been close with for the last few years has been saying weird things lately. |

Question: How do I deal with a mean ex friend? Posted: 28 Jan 2017 09:16 PM PST I met this child when she was only 5 and now she's turning 15 in about almost 2 months. We haven't seen each other in almost a whole decade and we ran into each other again after all these years. The thing is that she's become shallow, fake, gossipy, all those negative personality types, etc. I'm a 21 year old woman and I'm hurt by this because she started telling everyone about my sex life and she's gotten under my skin enough to actually make me cry by doing something really mean. She was such a sweet little girl back then and now she's become much more...impulsive and arrogant? She has all these friends at school who are "popular" and none of them are real friends to each other either in fact all they do is talk bad about each other behind their backs. I know I'm a junior in college now and I'm not into high school drama anymore, but I'm shocked to see who she has become. She lost her virginity before she even started high school and she brags about it. She talks about being completely naked and sexting on dating websites for 18+. I know she does all that for the attention and half the things she says isn't true. I don't know her as well now since I haven't seen her in 10 years and we didn't even recognize each other when we first reunited so I can't really tell when she's actually telling the truth about herself. She makes up small lies to manipulate everyone just like all her "popular" squad who's pretty much the cheerleading team and a few guys from some sports teams. |
Question: Does he see potential in me or is he just friend zoning me? Posted: 28 Jan 2017 08:24 PM PST A family friend's son moved 2 my state 2 do a residency program 4 surgery. Hes 26 & Im 21.When he first moved here he came over to our home & we vibed. He asked 4 my number & texted me the next day when 2 hang, we hung out that fri He shared that night how his res. program is going 2 be intense the next few months(@ the hospital all day everyday,if on call then it could last 72 hrs+) After we hung out, we texted every few weeks but didn't hang out again until 6 months when my mom invited him over. That night we talked all night again & he said he wants to start hanging out routinely on the weekends bcuz his res. schedule 4 the next 3 months is only weekdays. We made plans to hang out. I went over to his condo & out to lunch from there. Right when I got there the first thing he asked was "how's your dating life""what do you want in a guy/ideal guy"..I asked him similar Qs & he answered basically definitions of ME.He later tells me how he's not ready 4 something serious/marriage until 5+ yrs bcuz he doesn't have the time. He said he just wants to have fun w/ random girls 4 now w/o commitment. Then he goes "especially w/ girls i see long-term potential in, don't want to burn bridges w/ a great girl 4 down the road-would rather stay friends until then" He then kept suggesting that I do the same & enjoy/not waste my early 20s committed. Later he starts asking me 4 girl advice, about some he's into & some he's not..I'm so confused- I can't tell if hes into me or I'm friend zoned |
Question: How can you become friends with someone you've been an acquaintance with for a long time? Posted: 28 Jan 2017 08:24 PM PST I've known her the whole school year but we're not friends. |
Question: How can I stop being known as the quiet/shy girl? Posted: 28 Jan 2017 08:12 PM PST In class I'm always known as the shy/quite girl. Which is not true. I can actually be very loud/talkative and obnoxious around my closest friends who accept me for who I am no matter how wild I am. But in class I am the complete opposite. I get asked many times by some people who don't know me well "why r u so quite?" I usually respond with "I talk I just don't talk to u". But my teachers even say sometimes "Katrina is my quiet student" It annoys me so ****ing much. And it even makes the ones who don't even realize I exist think I'm quite. But many times I'll be around my friends (not my best friends but my "friends") and I WANT TO come into the conversation but I just don't know how. It's like as if they have a code I can't unlock. There's probably only 3 people in this world that actually know me and know I'm DEFINITELY VERY talkative. And I want the others to know that. I want to talk in class, but the other people next to me are talking about their own inside jokes and I just can't seem to make a connection. I really want to fix this. And when I do talk in class it goes like this... other people: *carry on a full conversation* and get away with it. Me: "hey can I borrow a pen?" *teacher yells at me and tells me to be quite. I honestly don't get this. I suck at life lol |
Question: My friend looks at me a lot? Posted: 28 Jan 2017 07:56 PM PST My friend looks @ me when she thinks i cant see. I see her do it in class but i shrug it off. Y does she do this? We r both girls. PS sorry for the bad grammar, I am in a hurry. |
