I am a religious, Christian man. Today, I had a very good chat with an african american Uber driver, and I tipped him $10 on a $4 short ride, and he even wanted my number to chat, and we may likely become friends. I'm friends with a ton of people, of all races. But I am of the belief that it's "preferable", all other things equal, to date within your own race. I'm not saying it's some weirdly super important thing that Trumps true love or something like that. But my point is, people of your own race share your heritage, share your culture, they are more likely to share your religious beliefs, moral beliefs, ethical beliefs, governmental and constitutional beliefs, political beliefs, sociological beliefs, etc. They are more likely to like the same sports, the same hobbies, the same foods. In general, it leads to a stronger marriage, to date and marry within your own race (all other things equal). Lastly, mixed children experience serious problems in terms of higher likelihood of failing out of college, suicide, depression, criminal behavior, delinquency, drug use, cheating on their partners, assault, etc. With that said, why do some people say you are "racist" for wanting to have a strong marriage and happy stable children? Are they insane, delusional, or just dishonest? Or are they so fixated on race that they would prefer "mixing" just for poops and giggles, even if it leads to serious problems with your marriage, family, and kids? To clarify- being friends, associates, coworkers, etc with other races is great, well and good, and absolutely necessary in society. Well, not so much necessary to be friends- but still good. You gain experiences and stuff. But marriage is supposed to be a bedrock, rock solid, life-long foundation under holy God himself. You want that to be strongest. And it's simply strongest when you marry a partner who you are compatible 100% with- up to and including race It's a proven, statistical fact that interracial marriages fail a lot more frequently than same-race marriages do... So, why push interracial marriage? Is that something being pushed by big-government statists, that want the State to have more power than the Family? That's the only reason I can think of, for why it is being pushed so aggressively in the govt and media.

I have an uncommon last name that no one ever spells correctly, and people even have a hard time pronouncing it when seeing it on paper. Why would a woman want to marry someone like that, and have her new last name constantly misspelled/mispronounced, and have to spell it every time?

My husband says he wants to separate from me. We've been married 12 years and he says he's fallen out of love with me. Usually, I drop her off at her family place and go away. I'm not really a people person and it's not my family anyway. But recently, she pointed out that they're wondering why I don't come and that it's embarrassing her.

My fiance and I live together in his mother s house. his mother s rent-paying boyfriend died over 2 years ago, and my fiance now pays for the house and household bills. His mother pays for dog and cat food only (she insists on feeding the indoor cat, and the some 5-10 outdoor cats as well as her 6 dogs). She insists on keeping all the animals and rearranging the furniture. I happen to think she keeps a sloppy, dirty house (due to her poor hygiene and excessive animals). I try to tidy, clean, and put the furniture in a more comfortable arrangement since she puts things in walkways, and I often trip on things on my way to the kitchen or bathroom. His mother gets mad for moving "her" house around even though MY husband-to-be pays for the house. Am i wrong to do this, or am I entitled since the fiance pays for the house? If it weren t for her inability to take care of herself, the fiance and I could move out and have our own home.

Im going through a divorce with my ex. We have two kids; a toddler and a school aged child. For the majority of the time our divorce has taken place she has been hostile and started tons of drama. She called CPS on me three times because she wanted to be petty, each time the case has been dropped. She has threatened to bring drama to my family (brothers, father, etc) via texts and pictures that would make me look bad. She starts arguments with me in front of our kids, cursing and acting erratic. I could name off many other situations. I want to get a no contact order through the court (i have a lawyer) that states the following: 1) She may not call me unless it regards an emergency with the kids. 2) Any other contact MUST be limited to talk about the kids (parenting time, medicine, school-related, etc) and MUST be via text message or e-mail. 3) She may not contact my family. 4) She is not allowed on my property. 5) Pick-up/drop-off of the kids must take place at a third party location such as their maternal/paternal grandparent's house. Or the third party can facilitate transportation of them if they want to. I am wondering if that is possible in a no contact order? Will a judge grant those conditions? Will it make me look bad in court if i do this? Do you have any personal experience with a no contact order? Considering she has harassed me non-stop since i filed for divorce i don't think i am asking too much. I just want peace for myself and my kids! Help!

The police contacted me and said I was going to be fined for something that I had someone else do for me. I had someone else drive to this guys house and put a screw in his tire to flatten it and also pouring bleach and water into his gas tank. The police said they would call or mail me what the prosecutor decides to fine me. What happens after you are fined with a charge?

We keep getting into arguments/fights, with it escalating and getting prolonged. This is really spoiling the future of the entire relationship which otherwise feels meant-to-be. My long time girlfriend and now fiance as of last October have kind of hit a rut. I come to find out that she has been texting some guy flirting and she works with him! I confronted her and him and they said it was harmless stuff and apologized. But that we have our issues and she was not happy and worried we might not make it. My father never loved my mother. I've only dated one guy for eight months, but I don't think he loved me, he just kept me around for sex I think. Since my last post I have realized how many mistakes I made with my husband and family. Not seeing how things affected him and even more so my kids seeing their father annoyed with my mother. My family knows everything that happened to me my dad apologized to my husband and said he wants to be a regular family . My husband wants my mom to make changes to her selfish behavior in order to have peace my dad wants to Skype my kids with my mom there and it makes my husband mad as my mom still insults his parenting because can't be around. My dad doesn't know how to manage a computer so he needs my moms help. What do I do? If they talk to my dad with my mom there my husband will be furious . But if I Dodge my dad they'll think my husband is controlling which they already do even though all he wants is my mom to have extremely limited contact with her until she changes. She doesn't think she needs to and my husband is wrong and needs to move on...I'm stuck we're having another baby in March and my mom wants to come For that and my husband said no because she won't behave which is true so my mother is still mad about that...

While doing laundry I found two of my underwear along with other women's underwear. When I confronted him, he admitted to me that he had an underwear fetish and had stolen his sister's underwear. I am completely grossed out. He says he doesn't do anything sexual with them he just keeps them in his travel bag. But my first thought is that he masturbates to them. I married a man who has children form his previous marriage and although I love and care about them very much I never feel special in this marriage and I do not feel cared about in the same way back. We recently had our custody changed from joint to shared 50/50 and within 24 hours of the change my ex took my son to his therapist and coached him to say that he is very stressed out about the change and he tried to put a knife to his neck!!!!! The change was because my ex moved in middle of school year as a result the school would not allow him to continue as he is a resident of the town. As a result the judge ordered for him to continue his education in the current school and changed custody to shared which the school will accept. My son is 10 years old he told me that he did tell his therapist about the knife situation and told me my ex coached him to say this so that the order can be reversed back!!! This is very crazy thing of my ex to plan and will damage my sons life if the school finds out about this nonsense!! he is a very happy child and was even more happy when I told him about the change which will allow him to continue in the same school!! I have an appointment with his therapist tomorrow, my son told me he will go tell her that this was all fake and he was coached to say these things!!!

My gf, or now fiancée, are planning to get married in the near future. I asked her to marry me on new years eve. I was with my brother and his fiancée at their party. Common law marriage? I'm sorta confused about this..I'm going through custody situations with my boyfriend..his baby mother is taking him to court for full custody of their two kids no visitations (which she has not seen or contacted them for 7months) ..she wants child support oh and she telling everyone their married and is fighting to get an divorce and wants money for being "married to him"..this is the confusing part about it their not married!
