Question: My sister wants me to pay $500 for a bridesmaids dress? Posted: 07 Jan 2017 11:45 PM PST So my sister is getting married in July and I'm a bridesmaid the problem is she picked a $500 dress that doesn't include alterations or anything so factoring in alterations, shoes, getting my hair and nails done it's gonna be around $700 and I have 2 four month old little girls and I can't just go drop that kind of money on stuff like that anymore. Escpecially because I'm getting married myself in November and while my parents are helping with it its still a huge expense of my own I don't know what to do ! I want to support my sister but the only way I can make this work is if I put it on my fiancées credit card which is not something he or I really want to do. I just don't know to do. |

Question: My girlfriend wants an engagement ring but doesn t like diamonds? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 05:14 PM PST Hi guys I m wanting to propose to my girlfriend and we ve already discussed it in the past. However she doesn t want to have a diamond ring as in her eyes diamonds link to slave mining, blood money and so on. (Please don t judge she stands by her views and I respect her for it) Anyway what could I get instead? I m oblivious to jewellery so don t even know where to start. Cheers |

Question: What is the proper name for a wedding "open house"? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 03:31 PM PST Like when a venue does up the whole space to make it look like there s going to be an actual wedding that day, and a load of people go to see it. Is it just a wedding show? |
Question: If you were invited to a wedding? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 12:23 PM PST Is it rude not to go? |
Question: Is it okay to marry someone after dating for a couple of months? Posted: 06 Jan 2017 11:56 AM PST I see many people saying not to marry someone unless you have been them for 3-5 years. I don't think I could be like that. I love a girl so much and she's beautiful, kind hearted, and funny. Sge loves me too and she agreed for marriage when I proposed. We've gone out for a couple of months while doing our postgrad and had sex a couple of times. I have helped her cook when I stay overnight in her room. I want to get settled and stay faithful to the person I love. I also intend to have a baby pretty soon. Is it wrong to marry someone after a few months of courtship |
