They want me to buy clothes and things i want! But i bought 3 games and clothes anyway. 😔 even though it was fun shopping.. But I have gotten a lot of money for christmas and i said i wanted horse lessons and i will pay for it with MY money i got, but they are telling ME how to spend my money and what to spend it on (clothes or something i want) Now that i have spent half of it, i barely have any for at least 2 lessons.. 😞 I really EXTREMELY BAD want horse lessons but they made me spend most of my christmas money on other stuff. i have maybe $50 or $70 maybe 60 now but my parents STILL WONT EVEN LET ME GET THE HORSE LESSONS!? Again, this is christmas money along with other money i got for my birthday.. how do i convince them to let me get the lessons as they dont have to pay for anything!

my mom yells at me litreally everytime she sees me around the house. And often times, its for no justified reason. She always finds an excuse to give me negative comments or treat me with contempt. She yells at me when im doing something wrong and she also yells at me when im doing nothing wrong. Once she even yelled at me for not bringing enough napkins from dominos pizza when there are napkins at home. She looks for reasons to bully me too doesn't treat my brother this way. In fact, she is afraid of yelling at him cuz she loves him so much. He never gets yelled at no matter what he does even if its a ton worse than me.

My mom never takes my feelings Into account for anything and when I mention them she laughs and calls me stupid for being sad or angry. We moved and now my school is a 35 minute drive away when it used to be a 4 minute drive. Now I can't join my sports teams because I have no one to drive me to/from practice and I was really passionate about it and it's the only thing that keeps me happy. I can't hang out with my friends anymore because I always have to think about how to get home and my mom won't even buy me a bus card to get around. I used to be able to walk to everywhere myself and now I depend on her to take me places and she straight up says no with no explanation I wish we never moved. Besides that she's just emotionally abusive and thinking about her makes me want to cry. I'm 14 and where I live I can't get a job and I'm too young to drive, trust me I've thought of everything. I hate having to depend on her because I hate her. I just sit in bed all day now doing absolutely nothing. We even moved to a sketchy neighborhood so I can't stay in the front yard without her getting mad. So I can't join sports or walk out of my house and I've gained 6 pounds and I want to just be healthy. I'm not mentioning anything bad now, but just know she's a plain old ***** and if I could move out I would but once again I can't live alone until I'm 18.

She hates three of her five siblings and so she won't let us see the families of those 3 siblings. Of the two siblings she likes one of them has no kids and is single (a nun). The other one has two kids we do see sometimes though they are a lot younger. So how do I get my mother to see she is denying us the right to have extended family when she had a very close extended family growing up since her parents were better people and forgave any disputes that may have happened.

So my moms boyfriend kinda lives here, like he s here all the time and sleeps here and bought like a bunch of furniture just not by lease. Anyways, he and our neighbors have a feud. He s always calling the kid a dick and a fag and other stuff (he s not homophobic just a little childish.) I don't know what's happened but about two or three years ago, she just stopped being a mom. My dad has always been good, always been a dad and tries his best. My mom doesn't care. She never tries to involve herself in my life or care. I'll try to ask her how her day was or talk to her about how she feels. I just try to be a good daughter. But she would either ignore me, mumble 'sh!t' and just go to her room and lock herself in, or tell me I'm getting on her nerves. When I need someone to go to, she'll ignore me. One time I told her that I needed help in chemistry and that I was having a heard time in the class and that my book bag broke and she was on her phone the entire time. When I asked if she was listening she just goes "sorry, I wasn't listening. You're not interesting." I always go to my friends moms for help because my real mom will ignore me, lock herself in her room, or tell me I'm annoying. I was sexually and mentally abused by an ex and when I tried to tell her, she called me a whore and blamed me for it. I believe dhes going through a mid life crisis because she ALWAYS takes stuff from my room she had no reason to take and tries to dress a lot younger than she is by wearing crop tops, jeans WAY too tight to wear she had s muffin top, and steals my shirts and stretches them( because she's way bigger than me) the real thing is, she always complains about her own mom and how she was very neglectful.. My husband and I recently moved to a new neighbourhood two months ago and settled in. Recently my husband has started working full time and he is back only early in the morning. There is a 85 year old deaf man whose our neighbour and he lives on his own. He barges in and invites himself to our house whenever I forget to lock the door. Last night he barged in at night! before going to sleep I made sure I'd locked the door. I tried talking to him and the other neighbours but they don't take heed and it's left on deaf ears!!! I don't know what to do it's driving me and my husband insane! I'm almost sure he has a spare key to our house! Me and my husband tried talking to him but he holds us for fools and tells us we are hallucinating. He claims to have no memory of breaking in when he's invited himself loads of times!! We attempted talking to the police but they just laugh it off and tell us that our neighbor Mr Anderson is a harmless man...I want to change locks but my husband is almost never home with the amount of work he has!! Our neighbor Mr Anderson has also started rummaging through our mailbox...and some of the mail I was supposed to get for bills never arrived!! Our neighbor is driving us insane!! We changed our locks before but it didn't help!! we can't just keep changing them all the time! I've tried from time to time to talk to him about it but he doesn't care!! We can't just afford to buy another house because of this insane man!! The police won't deal with it and whenever me or my husband calls them they never take the problem seriously!! not only does he trespass and break into our house he's also been reading our mail without our permission and this has caused a lot of problems for us because of the unpaid bills that we were supposed to get but they never arrived!!

Why is that parents expect us to just 'do it', without them asking questions first. My parents are always demanding us to do stuff when we didn't even say we'll do it ourselves. My mom 'demanded' us to go to the store to buy some stuff for today, but we never said we were gonna go to the store. And now, she's all pissed off that we are not even going to the store. My daughter is in college. The college is 100 miles away. She is sharing an apartment with 3 other girls. She ask me how I thought she should get around and go the grocery store and other places as there is no public transportation where she is staying. I ask her if any of the other girls at the apartment had a car and she checked and none did. They told her they will use a bike to get around. She wanted me to buy her a bike. I told her with the high cost of tuition, books, and her apartment, it might be a used bike. She visited my dad and mom last weekend and she talked to them about the problem she would have getting around at college and that I planned to buy her a bike. My dad told her that he used to be an ambulance driver and he had picked up MANY people that had be hit on their bike by a car. He said the bike driver was usually DEAD or severely injured in a car bike accident. He was going to get her something safer than a bike to use at college. He then took her to a car dealer and bought her a new Kia Soul so she would be safe. She thinks she has the greatest grandpa in the world now. I am not sure how I feel about this. Dad did not buy me a new car when I went to college. Is dad trying to make me look bad to my daughter because I could not afford to buy her any car let alone a new one or is he concerned about her safety on a bike. I am going to college and staying with my brother and his wife. I started to have painful periods. It was 5 days of hell. I could barely function. My doctor put me on medication that stopped my periods. It is wonderful. I don't have these terrible pains each month. My problem is the medication that stops my periods is also a birth control. My mother is a devout Catholic who believed that anyone that takes birth control is going to hell. My brother said we should just let this be our secret and not tell my mother what I am doing. I'm 49. I stopped feeling fatherly towards my son and daughter, when they were about 8 years old. Something just clicked, and I wanted nothing to do with them. My wife was upset, at first but started seeing my point of view. I used to pick on them, jokingly. By calling them stupid, but my son started to believe that. I would call him stupid when he was 10, I did it because he never could sit still. When they started puberty about 10 years old, I would call my son and daughter fat. They were 5'0 and 90 pounds at the time. I started saying that, because I didn't want them eating all of the food. I limited them to eating twice a day, from age 10 to 15. They would complain. I cannot understand why they were very bratty. It was my choice and they needed to suck it up and deal with it. I still call them fat and stupid, not jokingly today. But when he looses his temper i get the same & its been gong on for yrs .Now i am at a point how do i make him happy person before he gets any serious medical problem. I know we all have problems but minor shiet he looses temper any tips professional advise. Also he's not really in a good healthy psychical. I feel worried at nights

also he asks my son to give him back rubs. this guy married the mother of my child and moved in with them. they live in the same state but different city kind of far. when I questioned my son more about this he retracted and said it does not really happen every 3 months like he told me before and the last time it happened he was just pushed into his room by his step father because he kicked the fridge. he wanted waffles but his step f. wanted him to eat protein because he wanted to go to the jumping place. his mother and I were never married and did not even date much. only met twice in san francisco, then she moved back to orange county and called me month later to tell me she was pregnant and was going to have the baby. that was it. I was there for my son as much as I could but now this is happening, I don't know what I should do. My son told me his mother have spoken with her husband and that they do not really want him to tell anyone about this. What am I suppose to do? I got really angry and my son got scared and started to bag me not to tell them anything so I promised him I was not going to do anything that would heart him. He just turned 11 and he has his teen years ahead of him and if his Mexican "Dad" video game player has no nerves to handle him now what should I expect in the future? His mother and I are completely opposite personalities and if I had stayed with her, it would have probably not lasted very long and would have not had "normal" relation. I don't think his mother wanted me in her life but she sure wanted a baby from me and she also looks like wanted me to be in my sons life. She's had 2-3 boyfriends since. This last one she marred and from what I understand either he pays the bills or helps out. I am quite bothered by the fact that my son is asked to provide back rubs to his step dad and that he gets physically and verbally abused sometimes. What the hell am I suppose to do? I pretty much resent them like they were a cancer.

Question: Should I let go.. or stay for the sake of my son..?

I have a 7 yr old son, and his dad and I have been away for 6 yrs because he s an irresponsible father.. Recently, we met again and he s changed. Since I ve been having issues at our house( I m living with my father and stepmom ), i have been wanting to move out and I thought that my son needs a father., I decided to get back with him and we all moved together at our own apartment with our kid.. Doing these sudden decisions, i kinda ignored the confusion if I still have feelings for him.. I thought it s just an easy way out because being a single mom is hard and not having a father is quite hard for my son.. After almost 6 months, I ve been having this anxiety about being with him. And I think I don t have feelings for him anymore. We sometimes have sex but for me it s just lust and nothing more. I tried to break up with him but he doesn t want to. I have not told him about my feelings and all, I just bring up the break up when we argue for some random conflicts.. My major concern is, this will break my son.. For the past 6 yrs he s had some emotional and psychological issues and now that we are all together, this is the best he s been.. what should I do???

I'm 15 and in independent study so I go to school for one hour only one day of the week. I line in California is there any jobs I can get or do at home to make money? (Before anyone starts saying I'm 15 why do I even need money and all that I live with only my dad and he barley makes money for rent and I need things like a computer for school work and that stuff)

A girl has been raised by a single father throughout her entire life. She's 17 and he's 36. They're extremely close and are always messing around. Here are some examples: 1. They're at a wedding and the dad sees his ex who cheated on him. His daughter ruffles his hair, straightens his tie, and says, "you look good. She'll see you and miss you." 2. The daughter's phone rings, and her dad grabs it before she can. He sees that it's one of her friends that he knows, so he answers it. In a high pitched voice, he says, "hey, it's (daughter's name). What's up?" He jokingly keeps the phone out of his daughter's reach while she tries to get it back. 3. The dad starts to leave before he does something that his daughter wants him to, so she stands on the couch and literally pounces on his back to prevent him from leaving. The dad says, "get off, get off!" Then they just laugh about it. 4. The dad is sitting down. The daughter comes into the room, sits next to him, and kind of cuddles up to him. She says, "I just found out that this girl's dad died unexpectedly. :(" Then she sits there for a while and hugs her dad. A bunch of people are around.
