We have a very playful friendship and lately we have gotten really close. I don t know how he feels but he does have a girlfriend. However, he rarely talks about her and when he does, he doesn t have anything nice to say. He seems unhappy with her. He always is complimenting me, and he tells me I m amazing. We carpool after work and he takes me home and we sit and talk in the car outside my home for awhile after we reach the destination. When he hugs me, he holds me super tight and doesn t let go. He said anytime I need him, he would come running. He always remembers little details about me and makes sure I m always doing okay. He even gives me little forehead kisses every now and then. A few days ago, I had an anxiety attack and he stayed by my side until it was time for him to drop me off, and when he did he just held me and told me everything was going to be okay. He said he wanted to stay and focus on me but had to go to dinner with his gf. He always playfully teases me and gets the biggest smile when he sees me. I don t know what to do and here I am falling harder every day. Relationships/dating/flirting/etc is not my forte and I m quite ignorant to it. |

Yes, I like him a lot and he even admitted himself that he liked me back. We definitely had ups and downs, but I feel like we're just.. losing interaction? Today we had the same class and we sat next to each other, it was absolutely great. We talked and laughed the whole class and then came lunch. We sit with the upperclassmen, and he kept talking with a girl in the grade above us. She's alright. He didn't even speak with me during that period and he said to his male best friend that he would totally crush on her if he were in her class. That did kinda ruin my day, but oh well. I remember a few months ago, he said he was so done with me because I never attempt to start a conversation. If he knew how flustered and nervous I got, I think it would've been better. Few weeks after that, he kept apologizing to me and said he wasn't thinking straight. Fine. I immediately gave in and went back to loving him just like I had for a couple of years. Back to current time, I quite often catch him staring at me and visa versa. I'm really having trouble keeping my head straight. I don't know what to think and it even hurts me to say I might give up on liking him no matter how hard it may be. I'm fed up with the mind games, and the cheating, and the "friend zoning" (yet they still expect you to listen to all their crap about another guy) so you can date complete losers. I'm getting two degrees, a minor and have a great business plan for a hedge fund. I just want a life partner I can love and not deal with all this crap with and I just end up getting used by some chicks in class because they are to lazy to do their own **** homework. When I call them out on it and the leading me on, they just get all b**tchy and rude, or how my last ex expected me to pay her credit cards off, or the ex who dumped me for not sleeping with her in the first month because I am not looking for some hot lay, or the ex who was banging an H dealer behind my back while telling me "We need to wait", or the girl I actually loved who dumped me "because I'm young and don't want to get tied down" then preceded to jump in some other d***che's mustang right infront of me, yeah classy I know. I'm seriously done. Then women have the AUDACITY to complain that all the good guys are gone, screw you. When the tables have turned and I'm a little older and I got fat stacks from my hedge fund, it will take serious divine intervention for me to be a nice guy or want anything to do with relationships again period, because you ladies (not all I know) who do this kinda stuff, what goes around comes around and you won't be young and pretty for long. I can't even hold the door open for some girls without hearing "I can open my own door" on a *** date. Before you say it, no I don't meet them at bars and clubs, I'm not dumb. He gives me adive, he listens to me and likes to cheer me up, he says he feels very happy when he is around me and I can feel that from him. He rang me few times to cheer me up after I text him and was in really bad form and he said he is trying to help make me feel better. Now he had been speaking to a woman on a dating site but he met me face to face first. We didn t meet or speak online, we met oustide a hostel where his friend who works in the hostel was having his birthday. He said sex was really important to him so it happened that first night and then he wanted me to stay with him from Saturday until Monday because he works on a Monday and we went for food, went for walks and watched films. One time in 2015, he introduced me to his flatmates as my name or as a friend, the next time he introduced me to his new flatmates as his girlfriend and this supprised me. He behaves as if he really loves being with me and around me and adores me and asked me about myself and told me about his self and his plans for the future. Another time I said I would spend 2 nights with him and spend the rest by myself doing my own thing but we ended up spending time almost 5 days because he missed not being around me and says he likes spending lots of time with me. He asks me for advice alot. But now he really likes the other woman he met online and says he is in a relationship and really cares about her and he is jealous. I am a bit disappointed and confused. This only happened bit after summer time, before this he said she wanted to get married and he asked for my advice on it. I would like to know how things started off really well and now he has gotten very distant and doesn t really desire me as much as he used to or initiate messages, even pictures like a coffee with a symbol from his workplace or a message about info about his day or weekend. |

It seems to be considered inappropriate male behavior to try and talk to a woman that a man is interested in. This is not in any way meant to be a rant, but in my own experience I have often heard women complain that men these days are too intimidated and are too afraid to approach women, but when men are bold and do decide to approach a woman and flirt with her then all of a sudden it becomes harassment. I understand that there are guys who say rude things like, "Let me tap that baby," or "You have a nice pair of boobs," but there are also a lot of guys who are just genuinely interested in them and give appropriate compliments, but are seen as creeps. I guess I just don't really understand how this works. How is a guy suppose to get a woman's attention if he can't talk, play, or flirt with her? |

| Question: Is it strange my former professor saves greeting cards from me? Posted: 13 Jan 2017 06:00 PM PST My former professor saves greeting cards from me. She has on her desk and window sill in her office. I noticed the ones in the window sill awhile back. But today I noticed she had more on her desk. Is this strange? There isn't any from other students just me. She initiates hugs every time she sees me. They tend to be very gentle hugs. She occasionally winks at me and signs her emails love so and so. She told me I'm her best encouragement, that I'm very sweet, and she appreciates me. The only thing that wigs me out is the prolonged eye contact. Both female. She's 61 and I'm 25. I admire her. She's inspiring to me. |

| Question: Guys, are you more attracted to flirty girls or shy? Posted: 13 Jan 2017 05:57 PM PST I'm really shy and quiet, but my sister is confident and flirtatious. She is funnier and more charismatic I guess. People have said in the past I'm prettier, which kind of made me feel better for what I lack in "personality" for want of better word. I know I shouldn't compare myself but I do. What I want to know, when we go out together with family, my sister tends to get more attention from men then I do. I do at first aswell, but I feel like men get bored of me and find her more interesting. They might act interested at first and then they forget me. My sister says I avoid eye contact with anyone for more then a couple seconds which might be why... It really puts down my confidence. If both girls were pretty, but the shy, quiet one was prettier, would you still go for the one who is more open and flirtatious with you? Maybe she is prettier then me also and I have nothing lol... |
