Question: My girlfriend wants an engagement ring but doesn t like diamonds? Posted: 09 Jan 2017 07:45 PM PST Hi guys I m wanting to propose to my girlfriend and we ve already discussed it in the past. However she doesn t want to have a diamond ring as in her eyes diamonds link to slave mining, blood money and so on. (Please don t judge she stands by her views and I respect her for it) |

Question: Should this antique cluster wedding ring have an engagement band to go with it? Posted: 09 Jan 2017 03:11 PM PST This is not my ring. But I'm having one custom made in this shape for my fiance. Should there be a engagement band to go with this ring or should it be alone? Thanks http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=1zz4xud&s=9#.WHQWPZ9Okwg |
Posted: 09 Jan 2017 01:19 PM PST I need to find an affordable venue in the Denver-metro area for my wedding. We have yet to pick a date but are planning it somewhere in the summer of 2018. We are going for a more rustic look. Something outside with a indoor reception would be perfect. Any suggestions? |

Question: My mom is trying to take over my wedding? Posted: 09 Jan 2017 12:15 PM PST My wedding is going to be in a year and a half or so... i know it's too early to start planning but everytime the subject comes up my mom just starts giving out her own ideas and when I say that I may not like them she gets all mad! and she wants to invite all of her relatives which I barely even know I don't know how to deal with her without breaking her heart! I want a small simple wedding and I want it to be my way with the people I actually know is that too much to ask?! |
Question: Need help with creating wedding hashtag!? Posted: 09 Jan 2017 11:09 AM PST Bride: last name is McMahon (pronounced MacMan) Groom: last name is Payne (pronounced pain) I've thought of a few but she doesn't seem to like any of them. Any help is appreciated! |
Question: Are fake flowers considered cheap and tacky when it comes to wedding bouquets? Posted: 09 Jan 2017 10:35 AM PST I am getting married May 13th 2017. Even though me and my fiance have taken precaution by getting a hold of a florist months ago, or about 8-9 months before the wedding, all the florists here refuse to help us cause it is the day before mothers day. The color scheme for the wedding is primarily royal blue, yellow, and silver. I want my bouquet to reflect this and, as much as yellow is a typical color, royal blue is hard to find in any real sense anyway. I opted for a real high quality silver and blue silk bouquet with maybe some brooch accents but a lot of people are telling me that a fake bouquet, especially if you are the bride, is and looks tacky. Is this true? Any other ideas if yes? |
