Question: Best wedding favor you've recieved? Posted: 12 Jan 2017 11:35 PM PST Feel like I've never really been excited about wedding favors I have recieved. I know they're expensive and want to figure out a happy medium. I feel that maybe food is the way to go. |

Question: Do you like this wedding dress? Posted: 12 Jan 2017 02:09 AM PST https://www.amazon.com/Bridal-Womens-Vintage-Wedding-Dresses/dp/B01E6XQ8Y8/ref=pd_sim_193_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01E6XQ8BG&pd_rd_r=XJ0VS7M3MXT78J67ZEW4&pd_rd_w=ca4mE&pd_rd_wg=M6Uqj&refRID=XJ0VS7M3MXT78J67ZEW4&th=1&psc=1 I am thinking of getting it in light pink or champagne. I also want to add sleeves like this if I get it and to add a bridal belt like another bride did if you scroll down and see her example. She is the one on the beach. |
Question: Is it possible to marry ourselves? Posted: 12 Jan 2017 12:33 AM PST Me and my fiance REALLY want to get married... but, we don't want the government to decide when and how we will get married (3 day waiting period for marriage license, setting up an appointment..?, if we have our drivers license or not) We don't want to have to turn to the government to get married... So, can we just write up a "contract" that we're married, sign it, and be married? I've written out a sample "contract" just to get the feel of what I want; "This contract is a promise to the Lord, our God, that we will always be faithful to each other. In sickness and in health, richer or poorer, till death do us part. The promise to love and cherish on another in life and in death. From this day forward, [enter date], we will become one. Not in law, but in love, with the Almighty God as our witness. Government will not be the ruler of our marriage, the Lord will. Now and forever. We wish not to be judged for this decision to be self-wed. I, [enter name], swear to be faithful to my wife/husband. That no temptation may blind me and lead me astray. To be together till the day we die, and in eternity." Is that good enough? I know it sounds a bit corny, but I didn't know how else to put that we are committing to each other forever. That, no matter what happens in life, we'll always be husband and wife. I'd also like to take up his last name, but I don't know how to legally do that... I am also a Christian. So, I would feel really bad if this isn't legit... maybe I would be judged.. I don't want to go against the Bible.. |
