Posted: 16 Jan 2017 05:49 PM PST So I had a few people over the other night and the next day my one friend (girl) found out that my othe friend (boy) stole from her. The guy refuses to admit he did but we all know. We don't know what to do as it was a weeks worth of her earnings from work in her pocketbook. She wants to tell people at her school but she snuck out of her house to come over and she would end up getting in trouble with her parents. (We are 18 y/o in high school btw). Any advice is appreciated.please do not write anything like "she shouldn't be sneaking out" this is serous and involves a lot of money. |

She's the only person in the world who knows me deepest darkest secrets-not even my parents know. in September 2015 we got in a small fight but I think I just over reacted and got mad. She messaged me not to talk to her until i "grow up" and so i didnt text her. One or two months later she tried to talk to me but I ended the conversation quickly. That was the last time we ever talked. I really want to be friends with her again but I feel like she has already moved on since its been a year and a half (or two). the reason I think this is because Im a freshman and she would be a senior right now and she's ready to go to college which is her next step in life. My 18th Birthday is in 2 weeks and I have booked a meal for a group of friends and I. I keep having anxiety about that and I'm dreading my birthday but I don't understand why?! I think I'm worried if it's going to be a **** birthday because last year it was the worst birthday I've ever had, and there's so much pressure on me because it's my 18th. The weekend after I'm going clubbing for the first time with my mate and random people she knows. That's making me really anxious because I don't know them, and me and her have been planning to go to town for months and now she's invited them. It's fine that she's invited them because I'm good at meeting new people, but I feel like cause I don't know them I might be left out and then my anxiety could be really bad. No one knows about my anxiety so I feel like I can talk about it on here cause I don't know anyone on this. The mate that I'm going with is the type that has to always be one better than me, so I can't really say anything without she making it about her. I'm really struggling to sleep as my anxiety gets worse at night, and I've started to get anxious for school in a certain lesson that I struggle with and don't like the teachers. Any advice? It usually takes over a half hour to drop all of them off at home when I can drive myself home in a minute. She s always tried to bring me down and always gets mad at me for basically no reason. Being the nice person i am i always try to fix things and apologize when i don t need to. I think she likes to target me because i won t be mean back and because I literally feel horrible when people are mad at me. and example of her being mean is when i told her i was going out with a friend. She started ignoring me instantly and stormed out of the house. i come back home after 4 hours and she s still ignoring me. The next day nothing from her silence all morning. Then it of nowhere she tells me she felt bad because i didn t invite her. One she s not even friends with my friend and i ve invited her before this is the first time i don t. i don t think i need to invite her everywhere i go. Also she got very mad at me while we were at the store because apparently i didn t hear a word she said and she took it as me ignoring her so she ditched me and almost slammed a door in my face to prove to me that she s mad at me. she ignored me for hours until i asked her what s wrong. i don t understand why we can t just have a normal relationship. i m always tip toeing to make sure i don t say or do something to piss her off and im tired of it. I don t like the idea of sex. I don t drink or smoke or do drugs. I know not everyone around my age does stuff like that, but lots of people seem to know small talk and they like to talk of people. Even in Group photos they try to avoid me and if manage to get one clicked they're simple hesitant to share it. I try my best to be polite and help them but they have even befriended my friend and telling him to avoid me ,and they constantly ***** about me behind my back to my friend .He comes and tells me everything though . Everyday it's like hell. Don't get me wrong i am not suicidal or anything like that , it's just that all of this has been very depressing lately, it's like i don't even matter , for the past month i have been trying to try my best to neutralize things but that ignorance and hatred is still there . The thing is, he's had other places to stay but always leaves because of "something" someone said to him or asked him to do. So when my family learned he was sleeping in his car in (Chicago) dead of winter, we offered him the couch in the basement and heat. I live in a house full of women. Today when I came to wake him up he didnt know I saw him but he was playing with his thing and looking at his phone. I was so shocked that I acted like I didnt see anything. Now I don't know if I want him to come back..What if one of my female family members had caught him instead? Once you get to know me i'm not shy at all. My issue is that I've just moved to a new state and started highschool without knowing anybody. I only knew one girl, who was a childhood friend but we've drifted apart and we're just nothing like each other anymore. On the first day of school I met a friend and we hung out together for the first couple of months, but once she established her own friend group, I started to feel excluded and I really didn't like any of her friends. I know a lot of people at school and they all tend to like me, but there's nobody that i'm really interested in becoming best friends with. I became friends with a girl in one of my classes recently. She seems really cool, but I feel kind of uncomfortable around her because she does drugs often and she has loads of friends, so I get the feeling that we're just not gonna end up being really close. I basically lost all contact with my friends from middle school, and I just don't know what to do. I walk around lunch alone every day and i'm just so tired of it. I'm trying to join a club but there's no information anywhere on how to join them. I'm scared i'll go through highschool like this forever. No friends, no boyfriend. I'm so bored of everything lately and I just really need to find a group of friends that I really like, but it seems impossible. What are some good ways to make friends in highschool? |

I didn't really know anyone but the hosts so as I was meeting new people I was telling them I was working on a masters degree, and when they asked me what my siblings do I said they were both going to med school. I don't want to seem like a nerd though. Also I only had 2 beers whereas some people had 3 Also the party started at noon, a family with kids left around 3pm. After that, there was a point I was by myself so I told my friend that I should probably head out. Then, he asked why and I said that I have plans for later on that night, but he said the kids are finally leaving and the adults can peacefully talk now. So I ended up staying for another hour and found a group to talk to. Then another family left and by this time it was already 4:45 so I left also. I just didn't want their family to think I was over extending my stay because it was a child's party after all plus it was mostly family, and all I was just a friend who met all these people for the first time. Whoever asked why I was leaving, I said that I had to go somewhere later on that night. However I honestly did have a good time, and want to be invited to events again. But do you think they will think that I kept wanting to go home and wouldn't invite me again? One of the people I said bye to said that they will tell my friend to organize more stuff like this so we see each other again. When I see my friend again I can tell him that was fun. |

Posted: 16 Jan 2017 07:27 AM PST Hello, it's me again... sorry for asking so much questions recently but everyone in my class wants me to drink, I'm scared I think they are crazy, we are all only 13 and 14 and it's not smart to start drinking at this age. Every week they invite me to the beach to have a drink, I don't want to do any damage to my spiritual health. I kinda want to stop everyone from drinking but how do I do this? And how do I cope with being the "wimp who is scared to drink" I'm actually proud of being called that because it shows how mature I am. I just need help because they won't stop annoying me about it. |

Everyone here has grown up with each other so I've missed out on a lot of things my new friends have all done stuff ttogether so it feels kinda awkward hanging out with them and having them share inside jokes. I'm not saying I hate this school but I miss Auckland. London is more of a city type of place, I'm a weekly boarder and every weekend I go home with some family friends, I'm only 13 and people have asked me for sex back in NewZealand I didn't have to deal with that at all! The kids in my school smoke and drink and some of them are not virgins! I've only had to deal with one person not wanting to be a virgin once in my life I can't deal with 30 of them! I feel uncool because I don't join my classmates at the beach on Friday night to smoke, drink etc. Yet again I know it's the right thing to do, once again I'm only 13! I'm British Cuban and I think it's time I live in a place I'm from. But their version of Friday nights is so different to mine! What me and my friends used to do was go to the back of my barn and put a tent up by the lake and make a bonfire just watching the stars and talking. I'm more of a countryside girl. Oh and No one here is social! They all worry about "snapchat streaks" back in NZ I didn't have a phone I got my first phone when I moved to England! (It's been 22 days) |

Posted: 16 Jan 2017 06:08 AM PST So, I m a freshman in high school, and I have started to notice that many of my friends have just started to avoid me on purpose. People I have known through middle school have just started avoiding me in the halls and in class. People who I used to feel comfortable talking to always end conversations that I start in awkward and mean ways. Some just stop facing me while I m talking to them and move on to other people, or they just yell "STFU" and talk to others. There s another thing too; People who have begun avoiding me have begun talking to other people, for no real reason. I feel as though I m a nice person, who would make a good friend now because I have in the past. Almost everyone I called a friend has just left my side in favor of other crowds, crowds I feel I used to be a part of until now. I feel lonely, like there s nobody left to talk to, and I spend most of my lunches in the back corner with nobody. The Worst part is that there is nothing I can do. I accept the fact that others can choose whoever they want to be their friends, but why did all of them have to do this at once, and simultaneously exclude me? Every Day I get more lonely and sad. I understand that I have a great life, and I m privileged to go to school and stuff like that, but my life just seems to serve no purpose if there s nobody to share it with. Any Advice helps, and any solutions would be great. Thank you if you do come up with a good answer, because I feel very depressed and lonely right now. |

Thus, they decided to merge our classes. I have 2 really close friends before but then suddenly, I feel that these 2 are avoiding me today. They hung out with their "old best friends" from the other class whom I admit are definitely more interesting to talk to than I am. After all of the things I've done for them the past 3 years of our friendship, especially this one who kept on asking me to help her edit her youtube videos, help her film her ****, recover her lost videos, got her through chemistry and physics, I am getting dumped over a ******** who just happen to know more about the Kardashians and stupid random trends in pop culture? I don't get it. Should I really drop to their level of intelligence just to fit society's extraversion bias? Did I call this disaster upon myself? Did I simply hung out with the wrong bunch? Am I the problem? |

I ignore people who talk rubbish about me but cant fully ignore them coz they are my FRIENDS.. Yeah you got that right, friends... Im in 9th standard. My friends keep on calling me Chakka" . Indians are gonna understand this.. This isnt really sort of an issue coz I mostly ignore them but smtimes it really gets on my nerves. From my 6th grade to 8th grade, I studied in gonda, a small district . But the children here were quite calm and supportive. Last year, we shifted to Faridabad, NCR REGION. The problem with the children of this area is that they abuse a lot. For eg . , words like Ch**tiya, Behn***d etc are quite common here. But I never used such language, so , i just listen and ignore , but this increases their himmat(sort of courage) actually and they use such words more. I used to have an image of my own but here, im completely ....... So, the question is, what can I do to make these people stop? Should I myself start speaking such language, or keep ignoring them,?? I think i need to change from shy to outgoing but How!! ! Please help me.. i really need some good help.. Forgot to add that Im quite proud of my extraordinary nature but still ....... |

He has NEVER told me hes rich but i know he has like 6 dogs, some cats and 2 ferrets. He lives on 8 acres but not on a farm. He told me he stopped going to school when he was in 6th grade because he was bulled. He said they bullied him because they mostly had 1 parent and they could see his family life was good. He also said he went to a black school and he stood out because he was white. I asked him whats the last school he went to and he tells me the name of an academy, a private school and saw the pics, there are some black people but i wouldnt call it a black school obviously. He hasent been in an actual school for 4 years. Can someone tell me why is he so bothered by the reasoning of the bullying? Hes 14 btw |

Posted: 15 Jan 2017 11:37 PM PST I would like to start by saying that I'm a lost 18 year old senior in high school who doesn't know what direction his life is headed. And my girlfriend is a damaged 19 year old with family problems and a very stressful work schedule. We're both going through very complicated times in our individual lives and she thinks that's it's best we take a break. I know she's going to come back, we're actually going to be married someday. I just don't know how to be happy without someone being there for me. I've always had my brother since I was born but then he left to join the army. And after that I always had my best friend but now he's going through a really rough time and my parents aren't as fond of him as they used to be. Without a brother, best friend, or girlfriend. I feel terribly lonely and I'm sad all the time. I know that everything will be okay, and that jake and I will pick up right where we left off when his life is sorted out and that taylor and I will be married someday. But I've just never been this alone before, and I don't know how to live this way. Is there any way for me to be happy by myself? |

Su amigo con el cual tuve algo hace tiempo cuando vio que su amigo y yo salimos, publico un estado diciendo que su amigo anda recojiendo la basura que el bota.. me sentí muy mal primeramente porque me llamo así y porque no tengo nada con su amigo solo me cae bien y no quiero que piense que me gusta su amigo porque la verdad no es así.. que opinan? La verdad el aun me sigue importando un poco, aunque nunca tuvimos nada enserio.. pero tampo quisiera que piense que me metí con su amigo esa no fue nunca mi intension, pero me da mucha pena hablarle :/ |

I try to be nice but people push me in the crowded halls, one girl always tries to push/shove me in some sort of way and I thought she was my friend. I find it hard to make conversations with people in table groups because there's two/three other people I'm sitting with who 1. Don't really know very well and 2. Ignore me for the most part. I follow one of my friends to her friends and she eventually leaves to talk with them and I'm left with my other friend who doesn't talk very much unless I start something. There's also another girl who I thought was my friend but I have a feeling she hates me for no reason? She ignored me when I called her name and my friend caught her giving me a dirty look. She acts nice around me but too nice... Suspiciously nice. Elementary school was so fun and ever since middle school started a year ago its been a life changer in not the best way. Any advice? |
