My parents and baby sister had been planning to come visit me for 2 months. I set aside the whole weekend so I could show them around the city, take them house hunting (they will be moving to the city FH and I live in come fall) and just take them sightseeing-you know, take them to museums, restaurants, etc. FMIL shows up Friday night, unannounced on our doorstep, saying she had saved up for a month to surprise us with a visit. The only good thing is that the woman stayed at a hotel. FMIL then proceeded to get upset when it became clear to her that my family was also in town and that I spent all my time with them on PLANNED outings. I don't see the problem-my family had planned to come out here for 2 months, I had planned activities for us to go on, made reservations. FMIL expected me to drop those plans and spend the same amount of time with her and then got pissy cause FH went along with me on some of those outings, while she says I did not afford her the same courtesy. I see that people tend to dislike celebrities who are children more than adults on social media. Im 31 yrs old and I have been dating a married man for the last 5 years. I met him at work which started off as friends. He would console in me with his problems at home and his marriage. One thing lead to another and we both fell for each other. He has been married for 20 something years and has 4 children. I have known from the begining when we were friends of the truth concerning his marital problems. He says their relationship feels more of a business of raising children and there is no more love. So my two cousins have been sexually abused for their entrie lives by a man who's been dating their grandmother and two months ago it finally got brought to the surface.. My oldest cousin had told their mother and phoned the police then the man ran off with the grandmother. To sum it up they also have been living with my grandmother bc the children don't feel safe anywhere else and their mother is on drugs and has an abusive boyfriend. The only way they can contact through her is through the phone by calling, or by having hourly visits. Basically to sum it up the court that they are with doesn't have enough evidence and so the man is getting away with it scotch free. Right now the man can't be anywhere near them. Also Social services is involved and I believe Casa is too. But last night their grandmother also happened to come to bring them a king cake and basically drove my oldest cousin angry because she couldn't go with them to be with their grandmother. So basically they won't be prosecuting the man. One of the investigators actually believed my oldest cousin but the court is the issue. Are there any ways I can help expose this man? My girlfriend suffers from bad anxiety, shes only just started treatment with the mental health service, a lot of the time we have gone out with my family, or when shes at mine for tea she sits there looking pissed off because of food/social anxiety. My parents were really annoyed and had enough, when i came back from staying at a hotel with her, they collared me and said they are really worried and its going to take a long time before they trust her again, as they were warned about her when i first started going out with her. She's asked to sleep over at mine, I don't want to ask my parents after what they said, but I know she will have a bad anxiety attack if they refuse to have her around. Her anxiety is really bad and its really bad as after this appointment at the mental health she has been making good progress and being proactive in dealing with her anxiety, a rejection will set her back to the bottom again, but i'm certain my parents don't even want to look at her after the other night, as its happened before.
