Most of my friends call me by my wanted name and my family knows about it too. They are okay with changing the first name but say that changing the last name is insulting them and makes it seem like I hate my family which I don't. I just don't like my last name and would prefer to go all the way because using my real last name just sounds awkward and bad in my opinion. I never really fit in with my family either but I'm not cutting ties with them, I just find them really immature and the exact opposite from me. When i was 15 i had tons of friends but then had to move schools to independent study(my grades were crap at normal school) and because of this I didnt really talk to anyone but one of my friends ryan, I worked ahead and graduated a year early and then got a job and things started to look up for me. I met another friend that grad. to and also started talking to these three girls. So i was hanging out going on skype calls all things i missed, but now a days no one will invite me to hang out with them(expect 2 people but they work all the time so its rare that they will do much) and whenever i ask they say they are really busy but in their snapchat story i can see there not that busy at all. Then to make matters worse some of these girls have said they like me and they really want to do "stuff" with me.(you can imagine what that means.) but whenever i ask they say they are busy. The even send me nudes with out me even asking at all. On top of all this friend bullshit i feel like my work isnt paying me enough for what i do and im already working 6 days a week. Then to top it all off, all i want to do is go to college and reset and just have something to progress in or something to do, i feel like all my time right now is just being wasted. I was thinking of catching them making a drug deal using my camera drone, but there's always the possibility that their dealer will spot the drone, and as far as I know crack dealers aren't fond of squealers. At first I thought he disliked me because he didn't respond when I asked him a question but he later explains that he's just awkward. Anyway, after working there for 2 months now, he's been acting pretty mean. He would say that I'm very manly, or that I'm a lesbian. I had to tell him I'm dating a guy just to get him off my case. he didn't believe me until my boyfriend told him. He confronts me about saying he knows who my boyfriend is and says "interesting choice of men" after that point, every time we work the same shift he would always ask me "how's your man?" Or tells me to tell my boyfriend he said hi. Yesterday he mentions something I've mentioned before about me liking manly men and he was all like "your boyfriend is really manly" sarcastically and continues to mock him. After that, I told him I thought my boyfriend is very good looking but he thought otherwise and says he isn't. Saying he's average and such. Then I made a comment about I had problems with people if they had problems with me. He randomly pops up out of nowhere and was like "I have a problem with you" and I asked him why and he was like "because you're ugly" I chose to ignore him and walked away as he attempts to trip me. I don't get this guy because the other day we had a really deep conversation about his ex girlfriend and it felt like we were friends. But then he's acting like a jerk, what the heck? I love being around people, but carrying on conversations is draining. I like listening to people and adding in if there is anything I could say, but I'm not good at small talk and I am bad at carrying conversations myself. That is not the problem. The thing is I feel as if I have somehow forgotten how to interact. I hang out with friends and I hear my voice telling a story, and as soon as I start listening to myself instead of focusing on the story I'm telling my voice gets weird and I start saying "like" a lot. I don't know why. And when trying to talk to new people, it's like I don't remember how to talk to new people and make friends. I just feel like most of my friends only hang out with me because we have been friends since grade school, not because they actually find me interesting. In my freshmen year I met new people we like meet between classes but I ve become close to two girl so we became friends we had our classes together everything seemed to go well until the second semester of my freshmen year one of my two friends met a guy after a while they began to date so shed like spend less time with us, lie to us and make excuses to meet him and she d only call me if we had exams to ask me about something she doesn t understand like she started to use me. Now we ve taken a summer term and I dont have any classes with her (I have only one class with the other friend) and the two of them have also a class together so they sometimes hang out together without me and since that term had started my friend didn t even call me or texted me idk why I haven t done anything wrong and now I feel left out.. My section is telling everyone that the whole section HAS to dress out and I don't want to be the reason we don't win (I don't usually dress up for spirit weeks). I have a hat for a sports team from another state but I'm afraid that won't be enough for them. So I'm going to wear that plus a shirt I just bought that has a college in my state on it. The thing is, is that in my state there are two colleges that have a rivalry and members in the band always make comments about the one they like. I'm neutral in the rivalry and don't really care about either of them more than the other. So I'm at my final year in college, and I feel like for the entirety of my school career, I've failed to make any close friends. And as time goes by it has gotten more and more difficult to do so, because everyone has their own circes and cliques. Basically, no one looks for me unless they need my help for something. If I ever want to hang out, go out etc, I usually have to be the one to initiate. Which is fine I guess, but after a while it gets kinda tiring. I'm also always the back-up plan or the second option. They don't think of me as an annoying tag along, they think of me as part of the group. The thing is... my brother is 5 years older than me. So obviously I can't hang out with my brothers friends when my brother is not there. I mean a 15 year old girl and 20 year old dudes hanging out would just be weird Which is irritating because I wish I oculd consider them my friends too but I can't hang out with them when my brother's busy or something. And I like hanging out with my brother's friends better than my own. We have a group that includes my brother, three of his friends, and me and we're all really close and they call me their "psuedo sister" and we play tabletop rpgs as a group and go places and stuff. And I'd rather hang out with them than my own friends! What do I do? |

Posted: 07 Aug 2016 11:35 AM PDT He drove his car to my place (he lives 10 minutes away) and he wanted to drink some alcohol. After I started pouring some shots I asked him "so are you staying over?" and he said that he couldn't. So I stopped in my tracks and asked him how he was going to get home and he said "I'll just wait like 3 hours to sober up and then I will be good to drive". I told him that was a bad idea, and I didn't feel comfortable with it. I told him that I should follow him back to his place, drive back together, and then call an Uber to drive him back home later that night after we've been drinking. He was extremely resistant to this plan for some reason, I think because he lives with his dad and his dad is very against drinking and thought it would rouse suspicion if he dropped his car off and then took an Uber back later that night. He kept insisting that he didn't want to do it and I told him that rousing a little suspicion is better than driving under the influence and risk killing yourself or somebody else and getting thrown in the can for DWI. But he said that he's "done it before" and he was completely fine the last time he did it. It really confuses me why he's like this, because he is a good guy and is extremely against doing anything illegal. I feel like he just doesn't understand the dangers of drunk driving. Anyway, he was mad at me for making him drop his car off before we started drinking. Was this right of me? |
| Question: Should I leave my friend? Posted: 07 Aug 2016 10:42 AM PDT When we were at a fast food place, i wanted to use my coffee cup to pour soda into it at the machines. We weren't allowed to do this and I hinted at my friend to stand with his back to me to block the cashiers from seeing me do it. He tried to avoid my request by pretending he didn't understand me(probably afraid that he will get into trouble). In another incident, my phone broke. In order to avoid my abusive father from finding out otherwise he will beat me to death, I needed to pretend to be my dad and call t mobile to set myself as an authorized user on the t mobile account so I could buy a new phone. But I didn't have a phone at all so I asked my friend if I can use his phone to call. He started looking for all sorts of excuses to not let me use his phone(secretly afraid that t mobile may track his number and get him into trouble for me pretending to call as my dad). When I asked another friend, he immediately jumped to help me with no hesitance. There was a time my friend both and I were unemployed and he wouldn't even tell me about a job fair that was coming up immediately the day after we hung out. I just feel like hes just not very personal or caring as a friend. Won't do anything or sacrifice himself 5% to help someone else out. When i hangout with him, i feel like nobody has my back. he also drank soda out of my coffee cup too |

Last week we got into a huge fight and he said he can't stand me and that I make him sick. How the argument started was that he found out a huge lie that I have been telling him. Which the only reason why I had lied to him is because he was constantly lying to me over and over (he told me he use to lie when he was younger). So basically I was just tired of him lying to me, I just wanted him to see how it felt. I guess he's allowed to lie and if I do god forbid it. I have told him I'm sorry, which I know at this point is only words. I have even wroten a 3-page letter detailing my apology to him and how we could go forward, which he refused to take. I still want to be friends with him again, but I don't know how to go about it. I told him I was going to give him space, which we work together too. I don't want things to end like this between us. I guess it's just best to give him time and space, plus also it allows me to realize what I've done and the hurt and pain I had caused. I'm just confused what to say or do, please help!!! |

She had a problem she wanted my advice on. At lunch, she told me her son in law (her daughter's husband) wanted her to loan him some money. She had already made him 3 loans and he had not paid any of those 3 loans back. She wanted to know if she should make him a 4th loan. I told her this is a VERY TOUGH situation. She should probably consider the 3 pervious loans as gifts as the odds are VERY LOW they will be paid back. I told her I think the best approach would be to tell him that after he paid back the previous loans, she would consider making him a new loan. I told her to be prepared from a bad reaction from him and also possibly from her daughter. If there are grand children involved, be prepared to hear you will not see your grand children again. I told Alice to think very carefully what she wanted to do. I predict if she made another loan, there will be a request for a 5th loan in the future. I hope I gave her good advice. Do you think I did? |

I kept trying to ask him something but I kept getting interrupted. After he answered all the other questions, he turned to me and said "yes?" I told him that I just needed to know which room we meet in for the next class. He answered and I replied ok. We both began to walk off, then turned around and said "that's all you need?" Bob is a great guy and we all love him dearly. He is a good friend to all of us. In the employee break room, we talk about a lot of different things and sometimes we talk about sex. Like who is sleeping with who, what guy is hot or sexy. We would like Bob to join in our conversation but he told us he will not even acknowledge that people have sex because he is afraid of getting fired for sexual harassment. He very much enjoys hearing us talk however. We sometimes meet after work and them Bob will talk about his girlfriend, dating, and sex. Some of us are afraid we might be sexually harassing Bob. I always liked her when I was married to her daughter so I said how can I help you. She told me her 15 year old daughter Jill got a note from her teacher that she was failing math in school and Jill needed a math tutor. Sally had priced tutors and they were all very expensive and she ask me if I would tutor Jill on credit. I told her I would tutor Jill for free as I don't charge friends for my help. Jill cam to my house 2 night a week and I helped her with her math. She raised her grade from an F to an A. Everyone was happy or so I thought. I got a call from my ex wife Sandy that I should stop tutoring Jill because Jill had a huge crush on me and that was just too kinky. I told Sandy I would stop tutoring Jill if her mother ask me to. The next time Sally brought Jill for tutoring I told her what Sandy had told me. She begged me to keep tutoring Jill because Jill now enjoys going to school and her grades are up in all of her classes. Sally told me she did not think Jill had a crush on me and even if she did, teenage girls get crushes all the time they usually go away very shortly. If I didn't text her for a few hours (when I'm busy), she would say that she is gonna kill herself because I'm ignoring her. If I texted her, she would say "why do you even care about me don't text me". A lot of people left her (I wonder why) and I always said how those poeple were fake friends, but 10 days ago,I stopped texting her completely and ignored everything. I know it's hypercritical of me but it was good. She texted me everyday telling me to answer and how I lied to her but she just texted me, "I'm on top of the bridge". Meaning that she is gonna jump off and kill herself. But I think she's just saying this to get my attention. She's said how she's gonna kill herself everday I texted her and she never did! If I answer, it will be weird since I always ignored her and just text her now, but then if I still ignore her, She might ACTUALLY kill herself. |
