He fired one of his best friends, but for a legitimate reason, and now they both won't even talk to each other. Right now, he'll be known as Grahn. So basically, this is how it happened. As all of the employees were doing drills, that were supposed to be taken seriously. As what I saw, he, or Grahn completely neglected the drills, but he thinks that he was fired just off of hate. What can I do to bring them together? I'm being peer pressured by Grahn right now to not talk to Tom. When Grahn isn't around, I talk to Tom though. What should I do? |

I went on a newer account of mine and sent a message to a friend (unfriended on that account) and they didn't receive my message. Even if i add them as a friend my message doesn't show for them. To the point that I get in trouble because my mom hears and sees my phone going off even when I have no intention to answer her texts. She s always texting me talking about anxiety and all these problems, which I don t have a problem with to an extent, she s my best friend and I want to be there for her. But recently I went on vacation for 2 weeks, one of those weeks I had no cell service. I was spending time with family, and made her amply aware of that, yet she still bombarded me with texts. When I go on vacation I feel like it s my time away to spend time with who I m with and not feel obligated to text anyone back home. It was kind of nice not having service because I didn t have to worry about it, but the minute I got back into town my phone started blowing up with all these texts asking, "Am I annoying to you? Sorry if Im annoying you. I wish I could talk to you. You ve told me I m not annoying but do I annoy you?" etc. She seems to think she s going to lose me and our friendship if she doesn t text me every single day, but to me, the sign of true friends is being able to go a while without talking and pick up right where you left off. It s really painful to me since we used to be so emotionally close. The last year after graduating we have grown really distant. Today she texted me a long apology text about being too busy to hang out. She asked me if I would like to get together in the next 2 weeks, because things just got "so crazy busy!!" If you were me would you give your old best friend the benefit of the doubt and say something like "I totally understand. I hope everything works out... etc. :)." At my old school I had so much friends we were hanging out on the weekends and after school. They were the best people I had so much fun. I literally have no one I started off very rough made the wrong friends and cut them off cuz they were bad influences. I made 2-3 other friends but there so boring I only see them at lunch in school and they never wanna hang outside of school or they will just say yea but end up ditching last minute. This whole summer I stayed at home and just went on my phone and watched Netflix. I really tried and made an effort I got involved in clubs and tried to make friends but everyone's so different and boring. I don't have any motivation left to keep trying when nothing seems to be working out. I just go to school and look at the clock till the bell rings so I can leave. Like nothing ever happened. She's either nuts or up to something big. Which is why I'm planning this take over. I plan on actively seeking out and befriending any good looking person she seems to be friends with or interested in. I still got time, school is yet to start. And it's often cold. I still expect to see lots of people out though. I go out and see almost no one to socialize with. The people I do see are so much older and I wouldn't talk to them. He's not mentally retarded but there is something off about him and I'm honestly his only friend. He's socially awkward, nerdy and clumsy but can also can be very rude and disrespectful. Most of the time I get along with him great when it's just us, but around other people everyone just ends up wanting to kick his ***. He tries way too hard to be that chop busting kind of guy but he just says completely disrespectful stuff that aren't even remotely funny at all. For example one time me and him were playing pool at the arcade and a few of my other buddies showed up and we were playing in teams. One of them was talking about their grandfather who recently passed away. My rude friend said "what did you say?, your grandfather used to have sex with you?" Everyone just looked at each other. Then every so often he kept saying dumb statements like that until they left because the dude was about to level him out. Thats not the only time though. It happens almost every time other people around. I noticed also that if anyone makes a joke about him he gets super offended and starts having a panic attack. I have tried explaining to him how rude he is and then he starts bragging about being a jerk like it makes him likable or something. This other dude that completely hates him even tried to explain to him why nobody likes him and he just started bragging about it again. I mean I feel bad about inviting people over and excluding him but I'm sick of him staring drama ever social situation we have with more than just us. Posted: 09 Aug 2016 01:06 PM PDT I remember my school years from when I was 13 to 16 I was most of the time lonely and distant from the other ones in class. I saw a group of girls always being together and at a slow pace I tried to interact and maybe get a friendly relationship with them but I never got "attached" to them. They would be nice to me one day and the next day I felt alone again. My theory for not being able to become a fellow friend was because whey have been friends since they were little and I could not be with them since they havent known me that long and it was too late for me to become a friend to them. |

Googled about it & discover that others have a "fetish" for being bullied. This guy I know says that he gets turned on by pleasing a sadistic person's desires had his own expense. He and I started talking, but he told me he just wanted to be friends, especially because he s not religious and I am. So, we became friends and talked almost every day. He told me about issues he had with his ex, and how he s not sure if he s in love with his best friend, who is now married. In short, he basically said that we should just be friends and lean on each other for support. I would text him first most days, and he would take days to respond because of work. But now, I m starting to stay away. I must be a stupid girl. I don t want to get attached, so I stopped texting him. He hasn t texted me first, which is fine. I just don t want to get hurt. Would it be wrong for me to stay away? I don t know if I can be his friend. 😞 |

People who have nothing in common with me, people who want to use me, or people who just simply pity me, so they force themselves to say "hi" or something. Posted: 09 Aug 2016 11:32 AM PDT I was at my friends hanging out and doing stuff we were riding the hoverboards and the hoverboard I was riding suddenly died on me, so I had to carry it home and then when I put the hoverboard down I realized that I had spray paint on my shirt from the hoverboad so I ask my friend what kind of spary paint is that his response was "It's a 20 spray paint and melts if it's in the sun for a long time." | Question: My 2 best friends ditched me for drugs.? Posted: 09 Aug 2016 11:31 AM PDT I was feeling super depressed the other night. And my 2 best friends called me to ask if i wanna go out with them. I said no at first but they begged me and said it would make me feel better. So i got up and got dressed and went to the bar with them. When we got to the bar they said they were leaving in 30 mins to go to a.friends house to do cocain. They know i dont do drugs and i was annoyes they would bring me out when they knew they were gonna leave me. I said inwould come along but im not doing drugs and they said "well we are gonna be out until 3am" knowing i couldnt be out that late. I was hurt and upset. I told my friend i was upset and she said "you know it would be different if you could stay out late" and rolled her eyes at me. I told her it was true but i also didnt know she was gonna ditch me for drugs. Both my friends showed no remorse. I left, cuz i was really mad. Do you think im being petty? Or is it time to drop my friends and move on? |

But he cancelled our plans at the last minute. Twice. I gave him more chances. He began fading out of my life when I needed him most. I haven't seen him in months. But there's still a little hope. If he denies me, or cancels plans again, or abuses the tiny piece of trust I have for him, I'm ready to push him out of my life, cut off all forms of communication, and start fresh. | Question: Friend problems, read below? Posted: 09 Aug 2016 10:57 AM PDT Ok so basically I have three really close friends (let's call them Addison, Paige, and Alyssa) and we're all 12. I've been friends with Addison for almost three years now and we're very close and I trust her more than anyone. We don't go to the same school now, she goes to the middle school across town. Then, there's Paige. I've known her for a little over a year but we started to become good friends about six months ago. I mostly trust her, but there's some things that make me not. I told her I had depression and she told Alyssa when I asked her not to. Then there was an impersonation account that was made of me and we thought for a while it was somebody else but I've been talking to Addison and Alyssa and we all think it was Paige who made it (there's a lot of evidence against her that I'm not going to get into). Lastly there's Alyssa. I sort of trust Alyssa. She hasn't told any of my secrets, but she has talked behind my back a lot to Paige and Addison. The thing that bothers me the most is that Alyssa often invites Addison to her pool and her house without inviting me and Paige. I WAS FRIENDS WITH ADDISON FIRST AND I FEEL LIKE SHE'S STEALING HER AWAY FROM ME! I'm so jealous. I get a few times, but they literally do things every day together! Thanks for reading! |

Posted: 09 Aug 2016 10:26 AM PDT whenever I got past a greeter, they never say hi. in school, barely anyone wants to talk to me even though I try to be super nice. I feel as if people scoot away from me when I sit near them or use the sink next to them. family members prefer to talk to my siblings and not me. my friends never text me. Teaches never like me as much as my friends. people never say excuse me or sorry if they bump me in the hallway. Babies don't even smile at me anymore. Is it because I'm hideous or something? I feel so terribly lonely and outcasted in this world. It makes me depressed and suicidal. Im a girl btw. |

My friends are trying to get me to smile and be happy. My best friend on a text told me, "I know you're not going to like what I'm going to say but I understand it's hard for you but if you die, would YOU want everyone to be sad and depressed?" I answered, "No it would be depressing." Then she said bluntly, "Yes so you can't be sad all the time. Your friend wouldn't want you to be like that and she would want you to enjoy life. So just cheer up. Let's say we go to the mall and get some ice cream?" I told her that's kind of brutal and thanks for the offer but I don't wanna go anywhere right now. She told me, "Sorry but truth hurts sometimes and besides it will get your mind off it." My other friend said, "Aww I'm so sorry about your friend. I know she was very special to you and just stay strong." and "Please stop crying. You're going to make me cry." then later said, "Aww come on. Smile up!" I understand my friends are trying to get me to be happy but I told then that I can't be happy all the time so stop expecting me to be happy all the time. Plus telling me that makes me feel worse. A month ago she made a joke that her mother is not actually her natural mother and she said that she's adopted. I didn't belive her because she looks exactly like her mum, so, eventually, she said that it was a joke. Today, she said that she's a king's daughter and other stuff like that. I didn't belive her and she has gone mad on be because I didn't pretend what she said, that she's a princess and all of that. She said then that I don't understand her like her other friends do (I hate when someone compares me with somone else). She also said that if it was for her other friends, they would have played with her. Her last message was "So I've came to the conclusion that you don't know anything about me. Posted: 09 Aug 2016 08:29 AM PDT I have a friend who's 20 years old and she has an almost 2 year old daughter that she had with her bf. She dropped out of school after 8th grade and hasn't gotten her GED. She's has 1 job but it was at taco bell and she eeded up quitting after giving birth. Her and her bf live with their parents but all they do is sit around all day. She asks me for money all the time for her daughter to get diapers. So I gave her $25 almost every week to help her. But now I'm getting annoyed because that's $25 a week I don't have for myself. Her bf has no reason he can't get a job, he just says he's tired of working. Which I understand but he has a daughter to support. She could get a job but no oe is able to watch her daughter. I told her I'd watch her daughter at night so she can get a night job but she keeps saying no. I told her I wasn't giving her anymore money, if she needs help that bad she can ask her parents. So she got mad and called me a selfish B word, if I was selfish I would've never helped her. I just feel like she keeps using excuses to why she can't get a job. I go to college and have a job and I'm tired when I come home but I offered to watch her daughter so she could work. That's not selfish at all but what can I say? I don't want this to ruin our friendship but I'm not going to give her anymore money. |
