I create excuse after excuse, that she's in a group of people I don't know and there's no room to get her alone, fears that I don't want the news going around school if she rejects, that she talks to tons of confident guys then why would she go out with a guy she likely doesn't view as confident etc. and the main one is Am I in her league? I'm not overrating her, I'm trying not to put her on a pedestal, I'm confident around her, can talk to her, I just don't know if a relationship can progress but I desperately want it to. I'm 17 going on 18 in October and I've never had a real girl friend before. I don't know if I'm just too ugly or what. Now I am very shy, but some of my friends who are really quite have had girls approach them first. I'm a pretty negative person behind the scenes, but i cover it up really well. Some basic things about me.. Physically I'm really skinny. Like I should probably gain some weight. I'm not tall at all. About 5'7 maybe 5'8 on a good day. I've got green eyes, thick eyebrows, nice straight semi-longish hair, a really big nose and a "weird" face. Depending on the angle you look at my face it looks either pretty good or really bad. I don't understand it. I think my jaw might be slightly off? I'm not really sure. I love baseball, reptiles, nature, the outdoors, hiking, exploring and traveling. I'm a pretty nice guy that likes to joke. Wouldn't say I'm the best human being, but I'm definitely not a degenerate. I'm really shy as I mentioned above. I look for someone that I can be myself with and comfortable with. A problem is I don't have a good or high social status at my school and am too shy to meet girls outside of school. We always hug goodbye& hello but last time, we were in my apt during the day but the lights were off so it was kinda dark &he hugged me so deeply that our faces brushed when we released Only thing is weve been friends 4 yrs & hes never kissed me or anything like that at the concert, he picked me up, brought an extra jacket "in case one of us gets cold," we shared a big cup of beer & food he had a gf a while ago when we were just friends & i didnt have more than friends feelings for him, but hasnt dated anyone since (or doesnt talk to me about it) once, we were walking by this place on campus & talking about something totally different & he interrupted the conversation to tell me that he has had a lot of dates in there-would he tell me stuff like this if he was interested in me and wanted to date me? when we were at the concert I was telling him a story involving another guy friend of mine, and all he said at the end of the story was "well good for him" - is this jealousy? i just don't know what to make of it all and don't want to ruin the friendship and would appreciate some advice - thanks! |

He always makes me laugh and smile and hes always joking around with me. Plus he's cute in my opinion. Both genders were invited but I didn't know any of the girls there besides the one who is pregnant. Anyways he kept leaving me to be with the boys the whole time. He kept Askin if i would buy him a bottle later for tonight's fight. I refused and he got mad and gave me the silent treatment. I felt bad cause he said he didn't have cash so I I bought a beer from the bar. Later I saw him by the bar with cash In his hand. He was about to buy himself a drink until the host of the party came over and demanded a shot from him. He responded with " well I guess I'm not buying myself a drink after all" and just bought her one. He did it no questions asked. Then I found him outside with all his boys, so I told him we needed to talk. I was left wandering by myself. As We walk to my car he sees a girl he knows and hugs her. Then when I tell him how I feel he just let me leave. Am I wrong to feel completely disrespected? |

He's just so perfect, but the problem is that we don't talk barely at all. We live right next to each other, but he never comes outside unless to get his brother. Every morning I would always see her looking straight to my eyes before entering the classroom. One time we look at each other then she look to the ground. She and her friend sat front of me and the both ran away. She has gave me half/shy smiles. Now this semester I have no classes with her. I seen her yesterday, She was speaking I guess to a friend. I came out of the rest room and turn to my left and saw her. She also used to see me from far distance but not when close. We both made eye contact for a few seconds . She turn away quickly once I walk towards her and her friend look at me when I was walking away. When she look at me her cheeks were pinkish like blushing but it can also be make up, I don't know. She seen me last time talking to a friend and look at me then continue walking. Remind you guys were in college |
