I heard it clear as day and even half answered till I realized I was the only one in the room and my mom was asleep. Very clearly it said "Go to sleep baby" sleep and baby were the most Loud n clear thing I heard and my ear rang for an hour afterwards n I could just feel someone in there with me. It didn't feel like bad energy and we have had paranormal things happen in the house before but rarely ever to me. I would really like to believe it was my grandma who passed away from cancer, she's really the only one who calls me baby. I just wanna see if anyone else has had an experience like this or can give me some kind of insight in still freaked out n it happened last night around 4:00 in the morning. |

Posted: 14 May 2015 01:25 PM PDT okay so basically, I have my license but I'm only 16 and really want to go to Starbucks, wal mart and stuff, she tells me I'm a good driver but then she won't let me go anywhere!! she's way overprotective and don't get me wrong I love her loads but why go to the trouble to buy me a car, let me get my license and then not let me drive unless she's in the car with me?! it makes me feel like she's lying when she says I'm a good driver because if I were then surely she'd trust me to drive, right?? it's not like its a long drive, I have my phone if I need help, it's not like I'm wanting to go late at night, im not a bad kid and I've never done anything to lose her trust, good grades, no drugs, no talking back, and I basically never question her but really I'm gonna have to grow up at some point....help me please?? |

Today, when my mother came home from the shop, I noticed condoms in the shop bag. I was kind of happy. Then, I noticed how she fast put them in her bag. Years ago, when my parents still had sex, they put the condoms in a place in the kitchen. Why would my mom put them in her bag? Is she going somewhere with them to use them?! I checked her phone and she doesn't have any weird smss or e-mails. She isn't really into technology. I was thinking about checking when she gets home now and when she'll get home when she'll have her period. If she'll come earlier maybe she's cheating... Also, I'll check if she'll use the condoms. I'm 22, but I know that I don't want to live. I know I'm selfish; I have the most amazing friends and family, but I just want out. I have dreams, but I'll never fulfil them. My parents are well-meaning, but they control my life. I know everyone will be like, you're 22, live your own life, but it's not that simple. I can't bear the thought of moving home back home permanently in a few weeks. My parents want me to get a career, get married and have children. I've never been in a relationship in my life, nor have I ever, for even a second, desired to be in one. Also, I'd never have children - the thought of it make me feel sick. This isn't some 'spur of the moment thing.' I've been thinking of this for a long, long time. I just don't see the point of living. I just want to slip away into eternal oblivion (hopefully). I just know that I'll never have the courage to live my dreams. I'm about to graduate from university with what should be a first-class grade, but I've hated university, and I don't like the person I am. I'd finish it, right now, if it wasn't for the ones I love. My identical twin sister would never get over it. My mum. My nan. I actually can't bear it; I don't want to be here, but I feel chained to this earth by love, and it hurts me deep inside to know they'll cry. For those that want to know what I was arguing about with my parents, I wanted to start getting homeschooled and I gave decisive evidence proving that the private school I currently go to(which is considered one of the best schools in my area) is NOT good for my education and that I could learn way more homeschooling and all they did was retort with "we don't trust you to go all the way through with homeschooling." Well how can I trust my parents? What makes them have more credibility than me when I actually did research on the topic and provided a plausible coherent argument for my decision? |
| Posted: 14 May 2015 12:43 PM PDT He works but I'm a stay at home mom. He makes 90,000 a year. He would rather go to subway than buy groceries. When he buys groceries it's only 3 or 4 basic things. Such as bread and cookies. He doesn't buy milk, orange juice, cereal, paper towels, cheese, meat, fresh fruit.. None of that. The only breakfast items he buys are eggs and sausages. Our refrigerator is mostly empty for a family of five. I think the kids are only getting about 500 calories a day.!they are all 15 year old boys. I don't eat much but I'm mostly concerned for the kids. He buys orange juice once every blue moon. One time he bought smoothie from the store and was fussing the entire time saying " I need food stamps just for these smoothies". |

Me and my little brother are both scared of him. I cry every time I talk about my dad because he's changed so much ever since last year and he's had drinking problems in the past when I was about 5-6 years old. He takes my phone away and now he has reset the WHOLE DAMN THING!! :((( I'm so confused on what to do. I was planning on getting a job and buying an iPod so I can message people and have all my social media back. How can I get an iPod when he only knows the passwords to the wifi??!?!! Wtf?! Also he controls everything in the house!! He only knows the Apple ID pass and the Apple Store pass too!! UGH I'm too afraid to call an emergency line. She cleans the house everyday (or sometimes 2 or 3 times a day.) if she does not clean everyday she will become really irritated and agitated. She yells at every simple thing (such as I forgot to dust one picture frame) and sometimes she breaks down crying while cleaning because it's not clean enough. Whenever I help her she yells, whenever I don't help her she yells. I've become more distant from her. When I tell her "that doesn't need to be cleaned, it's okay." She gets extremely mad. I notice my father and brother getting distant too and fighting with her more often. She won't get help for it. She has severe back problems caused by the constant cleaning. I'm scared one day she will seriously hurt herself. What can I do? Whenever I tell someone "my mom has OCD" they say "I wish my mom had OCD, then the house would always be clean!" It's so hard living like this. I want her to relax. I don't know what to do. |

They live in a six bedroom house that's bigger than anyone ever needs. He always takes me to the fanciest places and has taken me to lavish parties that his parents host. Wtf. Why would he even say that? Then he start asking this girl if she live nearby or she want a taxi or anything. But she toad him to go FCK himself and left. And now my dad is all like, she's never coming to our house again. And he called her a little sh-t. That is so rude. And also he asked me where she's from and I toad him and he insult where she live and said she's definitely never coming here again. And said he better check nothing has been stolen. See how rude he is?!?! And here's the annoying thing: he only just get back from some work in France. Like today. Like 2 minutes he's been home and he already cause problems, by insulting people and embarrassing me. And how did he even know she was in my room? He musta been creeping around again. Cuz my mom didn't tell him. She was sleeping. I want him arrested for making me look stupid. I just can't escape his bullying. Her first taste of positive feedback was the sympathy she received from her friends when she told them about her home life. Unfortunately, she never got over SEEKING that sympathy, even after she moved away and into a loving home. First, because she doesn't have any BIG issues, like she did growing up, my mom exaggerates little things into big drama for her to talk about. As a result, she doesn't keep friends her own age for long because people stop wanting to hear about what is wrong with her life today. My mom has been known to blame her friends for an exaggerated issue and give them up, as well. Needing someone to blame for problems at home, my mother turned my dad into a scapegoat. Eventually, she divorced dad, convinced that she just needed to get him out of her life to make things better. When her life WASN'T better after dad was gone, she started blaming things on us kids. My brother eventually moved out after he became the brunt of her unhappiness. We have tried to talk to mom about therapy, but she just rages and cries at the mere SUGGESTION that ANY of her problems might somehow be the result of personal issues. She can't see that she is making herself unhappy, she just thinks she has a hard life full of mean people. How can I help her if she refuses to see what she is doing to herself and her family? To mom, she went from one abusive family to another and therapy is an excuse to bully and blame her. |

She does not talk to them, unless they see eachother passing in the street. She wants nothing to do with them. She tries very hard to make sure they know that she doesn't practice or support their own lifestyles. For example she owns a restaurant and she makes them feel so unwelcomed when they go there that they eventually stopped going altogether. |

I didn't realize it until my question got reported and people were calling me liars. So I will post one of the personal photo's on here also to show you that I'm not lying and I am truly looking for advice on this matter. Her husband has been getting needy to the point where just to get my sisters attention he will interrupt the only time she has to rest just to have her change the channel and he does it almost a good every 5-10 minutes. (She is the only one at the moment to take care of him, as their nurses they do have are currently out on leave for the next two months and the nursing company doesn't have any other nurses that work with someone on a permanent life vent.)We think he is being needy for attention because he doesn't have any other way to interact with people. He hates getting into his chair and going outside because he doesn't want people to stare at him. He gets into bad moods where he will blame my sister for the condition he is in and he even will push their 6 year old son away which is now causing their son to lash out in violent outbursts(He is autistic and his father was always his an important figure in his life.) He has gotten to the point where he just wants daddy and he hits anyone who tries to interact with him. We are trying to find ways that will help stop her husbands outbursts, and him pushing his son away. |

I have bad anxiety disorder that is preventing me from putting in job applications. its gotten better over the past few years but im still very afraid of working somewhere/putting in applications. I don't want to work (who really does) but im poor and know I need to! my dream job is being a youtuber! I have around 700 subs currently, but to be making decent money you need 20,000 + subscribers! so one of my probs is, do I stay at home and try to grow my youtube channel, or do I get a job? I know I could do both, but like I said I have bad anxiety! I currently have hard times making youtube videos bc I am a REALLY BAD procrastinator ! I put things off (like making vids and other stuff) all day and then the day is over, then repeat it. what should I do about that? I know everybody and there brother is a youtuber but its my dream to have a million plus subscribers and being able to make more money than most people staying at home playing video games. but I know its far fetched... second big problem is that like I said I dropped out of HS, AND don't have a GED. im not even working on it. im more scared (anxiety) to go take GED study classes than to get a job! and ive tried getting books from library and studying at home but I procrastinate. now im out of room 2 type |

Posted: 14 May 2015 10:56 AM PDT My brother Cole is 7, he's in first grade, yesterday after school, I took Cole and his friend Jake to the park; while they were playing, Cole was trying to climb up to the slide when a boy who's about 9 or 10, pushed him out of the way, Cole fell and he started crying, so I helped him up and asked him what happened, he told me that the older boy pushed him, I went to talk to the older boy but he started screaming and calling for his mom, eventually his mom told me not to touch her son because I was 'trying to hurt him' (I'm 16) and they left. Was that fair? I wanted to just talk to him because I saw him get pushed, I just didn't know if it was an accident or on purpose but it was Coles turn to slide |

My fiancee and I clean her house for her, we run her errands, we feed her dog and our dogs, and we do absolutely everything for her, but she is so ungrateful and still talks crap about us. We are constantly fighting, and we get into arguments daily. my mom likes to berate me, and it doesn't help with my self esteem. I'm 18 so I am legally allowed to move out. she yells at me to move out every time we fight. Then when she calms down she says I'm NEVER allowed to leave. She doesn't want me to leave her house. I have a place to move to if it comes down to her kicking me out, but that place is in Illinois (I have a long distance boyfriend, I live in southwest pa. He's willing to come and get me), but when she calms down she tells me im never allowed to move to Illinois, even in several years to come. I don't know what to do. I don't want to hurt my mom by moving, but I don't want to hurt myself in the process since she likes to call me names and berate me. |

| Question: Why do I want to shoot my self all the time? Posted: 14 May 2015 09:46 AM PDT Now I know I don't have it the worst. But there is no reason it should be the way it is. I watch my nephew all day for free while my mother, father (divorced),both brothers and neighbors dog on me about getting a job and figuring out a way to watch him. I had to drop out of high school because my teachers and counselor including peers bullied me. So now.I don't.have any "education" I understand math I read at an advanced level and I knew history better then my history teachers so that was the only class I enjoyed and it was easy because I knew most of it. Well after that I tried online School but I was already 100+ assignments behind in every class. Now I need to find time to get my GED and a night job to help pay the bills because my grandfather died last week. I'm also recovering from surgery so I am very limited on options I might have a job at the hot dog stand but it's half minimum wage and only part time and most money I would make is on tips. I can't move in with my father because he is still dealing with his PTSD and where he lives there are no jobs and lots of the kids that bullied me live around there and I can't do anything about it because my brother is famous with the police around there and they already give me a hard time. I'm not sure what to do with my life I know it could be a lot worse but a lot of this is cause by my family and I haven't figured out why they do that. |
| Posted: 14 May 2015 09:45 AM PDT Some background info; in a teenage guy and I live with my cousins because I lost my parents. My mom was extremely emotionally, physically and mentally abusive. My cousin is about 30, with 2 teenage girls and a 6 year old son. Anyway, we never communicate. She never talks to me unless she absolutely has to. She never asks about my day, or see whats wrong when im down, or even says hello. She does with her kids. She'll hug and say "I love you" before they go to school, and she'll talk to them and share things that interests her with them. I guess she doesn't talk to them all the time, but she does include them in things. I just want to be close to her as if she is my real mom. And I try so hard. Everytime she gets home I go out and sit with her and her kids. They all talk, but absolutely no one says a word to me. And when I talk im either ignored altogether, or I get a quick "okay" and thats it. Ive explained this to her before and they say that im not trying to be part of the family. But its like theyre going out of their way to ignore me. I really need a mom figure right now, someone that cares about what I have to say and that actually talks to me. I need someone that I can go to and talk about my problems and that I can get a hug from when im sad I am so affection starved, and my mom never gave mucb affection (when she did it was fake love. ). Its really hard for me to talk to her at all because my confidence is destroyed from being ignored so much. Idk what more I can do |

Posted: 14 May 2015 09:39 AM PDT I was upset this guy was selling drugs because its the same drug he sold to my friend that gave him a seizure, so I told him I would buy some, he gave me the pill before I paid for it, I said I'll go get my wallet, and I actually went to the principal and told him what happened, he was expelled but they had to tell my dad what happened (my parents were divorced and ne and my mom left and we lived together and she passed away when I was 11, then I moved in with my dad) and he said I couldn't go back to school even though there's only 8 days left, I couldn't even go to my last orchestra concert because of this, I tried to do what I thought right but the outcome was awful, and later that night i had fell asleep with the tv on and i woke up and my dad said "go to bed" i said why because i didnt have to go to school, blah blah blah the next day i woke up from my dad yelling on the phone "SHE'S SO ******* STUPID ALWAYS DOING BULLSHIT EVERYONE WHO DOESN'T HAVE A STUPID *** DAUGHTER IS LUCKY" and it goes on..He was forcing me to go to the movies with one of his gfs and her home daycare kids so he can buy a shot gun for the house, I now cant do anything for summer, or in general because I lost all my privileges, I can't eat after 9pm (I guess that's good, because I can now starve myself easier) and he's making more rules. I began cutting myself in the car on the way to the movies by putting my hands in my hoodie pocket and cut, im ready to kill myself 😌 |

Posted: 14 May 2015 09:27 AM PDT I have finally realized that I have been one myself and addiction is rampant on her side of the family- her mother was an alcoholic, some of my aunts and uncles have problems while some others have none. Same goes for many of my cousins, and I know the right or wrong friendships have a lot to do with where we all are in life. I am ready to take care of myself and want to have a healthy lifestyle. I have never had a great relationship with my mom and for the last 10+ years she is drunk almost every day and if she's not she's really uptight and impatient. She has repeatedly treated me like crap and I used to blame myself but now I know better. Just the other day I stupidly tried to have a conversation about our relationship with her and she immediately shot me down, said I was just insecure about myself and get over it. It has led to several fights that I tried to avoid but they keep going and going saying I'm not mature that I'm still a little kid, etc. Since they don't support my decision on me going up there I don't want to give any information. They're demanding stuff like a name, phone number, address, I can understand parent concerns but I'm an adult. If they don't like it then oh well. My parents and I share a computer and they're going far enough to go to a detective to find out where I'm going and get my friend in trouble. My friend is 18 as well. My boyfriend is the same age. we have done nothing to lose my parents trust or cause them to be suspicious. we haven't had sex and don't plan to for a while. we hang out 2 or 3 days a week max. my parents are saying they don't think we should hang out this summer because we are getting too close.. we've been dating a year and everytime we do get to hang out its at my parents house while they are home, we aren't allowed in any rooms we have to sit on the couch with my parents. And if I go over to his house my mom texts his parents to make sure they are there and are going to watch us.. I feel suffocated. everyone in high school that is dating hang out literally every single day, but my parents say we are hanging out too much if we hang out 2 days out of the week.... it's not only my boyfriend though they don't want me to spend time with any friend or even my step sister because they don't trust me. once again I have don't nothing to lose this trust me and my friends don't drink, do drugs and they are all super amazing and my parents like them a lot. I've talked to my parents about it and they say it's just because I'm their baby girl and they don't want to let me go. what can I say to them to persuade them to let me have a little freedom and be able to hang out at friends house without being on lock down? |

I been trying to get a job which I found I asked my mother if I could work nights and if she could watch the baby from 6pm-930pm she goes to sleep at 10pm after she gets home from work. She told me no basically that it's not her baby and to get on welfare. I even offerd to pay her but she still said no. I am currently on welfare but they keep cutting me off back and forth and I'm frankly tired of it, I have no one to help babysit to go to school or work and at this point in getting desperate. I reached out to the father but he shut the door on my and my child when I went to go visit and talk. I don't know what to do, she needs food I'm so depressed I'm not sure about adoption...plus I pay rent and if I don't come up with that soon my mother will kick me out. |

I eavesdrop sometime on my relatives and they gossip about me and how bad a daughter I am. I don't like it at all--like, why do they have to be so discreet about it and not face me? :/ it's making me lose my trust with them--even my mum and dad talk bad things about me behind my back. I just dont get why they do that that it hurts me badly. Sometimes when I'm not doing anything they suddenly hit me or so, when I try to reason cuz I wanna tell the truth, I just get hit more :(. I end up crying myself to sleep, and it led me to be the rebel I am now. My immediate and extended family also scold me for the wrong things--getting blamed, more like. They also see me as the ultimate disgrace and "failure child" between me and my sister even if I do have fine grades and am an artist sort. But when introducing me to their friends they act all fake saying good things about me. Cheap. Just today, my aunt loudly shamed me in a mall telling me of how bad a child I was again and threatening to slap me etc etc, but I didn't say nor do anything to make her say that in front of so many people....I feel depressed becuz of it for two days now. So, what am I called??I tried talking or expressing to them how I feel or something like that already to them but they just again ignored that and kept telling me that I was just saying stupid things and making a fool out of myself. | Question: How do I deal with my past when it comes to my mom? Posted: 14 May 2015 08:17 AM PDT I am having a hard time forgiving my mom for the way she has treated me in the past. When I was a little kid, maybe 6 years old, she used to slap my mouth after her and my dad had a verbal fight. This continued as I grew older. When I was 10 I had a scar on my upper lip from her wedding ring scratching my face when she slapped me. She would hit me until I was seventeen. Since 6th grade onwards, she would hit me if I made her mad. I finally ended up standing up to her when I was seventeen. I'm 22 now. I have told her my intentions to move out because I'm tired of her letting men move into the house, and she keeps trying to come up with reasons for why I should stay. I'm just so tired. She yells at me almost every day and she got mad when I told my doctor that she yells at me. How do I stop recalling all of these things that happened in the past? I love her and we've had some good times, but a lot of the time she gets angry. |

Hes been awfully quiet such as not texten and calling much. But they never lay a finger on my sister. She breaks stuff on a weekly basis and I get punished for it. My parents give her the world and i get nothing. They haven't said they love me in years. The last time i said "love you dad" or "love you mom" they screamed "GO AWAY". Last mothers day my mom, dad, and sister all went out to applebees "as a family" and left me at home to eat a sandwich.
