Posted: 18 May 2015 10:03 PM PDT So I have to write a wedding toast for my English class based on the Canterbury Tales. I have to create a character and a poem to go along with the character. My character doesn't know the groom or bride at all and is a bridesmaid. What can I write in my toast to explain how I became a bridesmaid? Why im even there? How do I end it? Please help. Thank you |
Question: What bra is most appropriate for my wedding dress? Posted: 18 May 2015 08:03 PM PDT I need the support of a bra because I am a 32F and plan on dancing. The dress has a keyhole back. It has been suggested that I try either a low back bustier bra or a convertible bra. Which is better? the dress http://www.dhgate.com/product/getProductImages.do?act=getProductImages&itemcode=213782017&pid=ff80808149a2ebdf0149db2d15197ade |
Posted: 18 May 2015 07:30 PM PDT Anyone know if any places to have an outdoor wedding in or around Greenville, SC or Brevard, NC?? Outside of the box places are great as well. Lodging for out of town guest up to 8 would be perfect. But not necessary. Would like to stay under or around $1,000 budget if possible. |

Question: I regret asking to be a bridesmaid in a friends wedding. Can I still get out of it?? Posted: 18 May 2015 04:39 PM PDT So I was asked to be a bridesmaid for a friends wedding, I said yes and eventually became of MOH thru general decision not even being asked. The bride is a huge bridezilla and has even told the other bridesmaid that I dont really do anythin. This is kind of true as I dont live in the same city and work nights. The bride is really flaky on any plans and usually ends up cancelling themafter I have already arranged my schedule. my ex_ boyfriend liveswith the couple to be married, and I know that they prefer him anyways. I just relly wanna cut ties with all of this as I really wasn't that involves anyway. How is a polite way to talk about bowing out gracefully. The wedding is about 3 mos away. |
Question: Girl said she thinks we'll end up being married? Posted: 18 May 2015 01:28 PM PDT Known her for 3 years, she lives in my hometown, I'm at university in a different city. I'm 25, and have matured past the stupid, horny, party bro stage. Whenever I'm in town I'll take her out and we'll hang out. We're not dating, we just go on dates and spend time together sometimes. We have a lot of fun, we can talk about anything, we have deep conversations, we have the same spiritual beliefs, we have really good chemistry, and there's a lot of mutual attraction. She told me she thinks we'll end up getting married. She said something similar once before. I do consider her wife material. I can definitely see us together. But it'll be a couple of years before we could both really come together. What do you think of this kind of statement? What does this say about her? What kind of stock should I place in it? Should I just kind of keep it in the back of my mind and just let whatever happens happen? Sorry for the lengthy post. :) |
Posted: 18 May 2015 10:12 AM PDT My fiancé's parents approached us about paying for the honeymoon for us in our early planning of the wedding. My parents are helping pay for the entire wedding so it seems like its pretty even. We've been reminding my fiance's dad to book it month after month as it was getting closer, told him the exact place and report we wanted to go to so it's easier for him to book, all requested by him (we didn't care, we were happy enough to get a honeymoon!) It's 5 days before the wedding and it's still not booked. I already paid for our hotel for the wedding night and found out that it was never booked when I needed to know when to get the car service for the airport. I'm very disappointed especially since they have not contributed anything else to the wedding. They are not in a bind for money at all, in fact, they are very wealthy. My fiancé has not been much help either, he doesn't like asking for money but I don't think it's about that. We never asked them for the honeymoon, they offered it to us. We were going to save up for our own honeymoon but when they said they'd take care of it, we used that money towards the wedding/buying a house. What should I do? I'm more upset because they should have told us they weren't going to pay for it anymore instead of not doing anything, now we are unable to make plans for a honeymoon until later in the year. Which is FINE! Like I said, they offered and I even asked them multiple times if they don't want to do it they don't have to but let us know! |
Question: Quit wedding one week before....? Posted: 18 May 2015 08:51 AM PDT The bride and I were not close to begin with. She asked me to be maid of honor n I accepted bc well, at the time I had no reason not to. It's been 8 months n she has never included me in any wedding related activities except for a dress fitting which I found out about a half hour prior. I've gone days without responses to texts--she doesn't answer questions I have--and her mother basically told me I was picked bc she didn't want to cause trouble between her close friends. The other night plans got mixed up for her bachelorette (that I planned) and I couldn't make it due to a medical issue I've been dealing with. Her friend texted me and told me off and then she did also and basically said "you better be at the rehearsal dinner and you better be there on time, if not, don't bother to show up at my wedding."... I told her I think it's best to count me out. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm sick of the disrespect. Ok I should've made it clear that other bridesmaids WERE involved in pre-wedding activities since everyone is stating that I shouldn't expect to be. And I've attempted calling her----no answer and usually no response until she needed to know something 2 weeks later. So no, no drama queen here just wondering why simple respect can't be given. I've given her gifts and never received a simple "thank you". |

Question: Lake House Wedding Venue in California? Posted: 17 May 2015 11:19 PM PDT I am helping my little sister plan her wedding, her fiance wants a beach wedding & she wants a country rustic wedding so to meet in the middle they decided to have their wedding at a lake house. Now I have been searching every wedding venue site I come across & I can't seem to find anything that meets their criteria. Does anyone know of a place that could come close at least? I know they wanted a lake house wedding that way the wedding party can spend the night inside the lake house. The ceremony & reception would take place outside because they want an outdoor wedding too. Any suggestions???? |
