Like, I'll ask her to take me to the mall and she'll say yes, but then she'll never come home after I spend time getting ready. I understand if she has something important to do, but it's happened so many times and I would think she would plan ahead at least a little bit if she knew she had something important to do. Also, the thing that makes me really mad is that when i call her asking where she is, she never picks up until like 2 hours later! Then she'll tell me she forgot and went shopping with her friends instead, etc... It just makes me really mad but she's the only one who can drive me around. |

Yesterday the mother of his child found out about me and immediately said she wants child support. I am 7 months pregnant with a baby girl that is going to be born with a birth defect that requires surgery, I'm only 18. We are currently on welfare and have $25 dollars and have to pay our rent which is $950! He can't afford to pay. The mother even wants her child to live with us because she can't afford her child herself and is living with her sisters and unemployed. She's 27! Does he have to pay support? What can we do? |

I ask because I was actually once put in this situation where some random, uncontrollable ***** (who looks like a drug addict) out of no where in the middle of an alley, jumped my mother after me and her went grocery shopping. I normally never hit women but I just snapped and wailed on her. I got arrested and received a couple of days in jail for it, which was bullshit. I don't give a sh*t who you are(whether you're a man or a woman), NOBODY lays their hand on my mom! |

Then he lost his phone and The school officer asked if I did it I told him what happened and that I remember that he had it back afterword. Then he called my mom and just told me not to get into people things. My mom took my phone away. Today my mom cleaned my room and i had some candy that I had from cvs. My mom doesnt like candy in our rooms and shehad told me many times not too. She said im not getting my phone back and that i had to do everything on my own. Cook, and laundry. I'm am beyond miserable. I have no privacy. And living with her is starting to take a tole on our me ad my fiances relationship. I honestly hate my mom. Literally everything she does, says, or even breaths annoys me to no end and sometimes even makes me want to break something. Were living with her while I go to school and my fiance works. Our goal is to move out in about a year when I'm done.with school. I really don't think I can make it a year living with her. I'm becoming very depressed. I hate lotion so much to the point where I don't use it and I'm suppose to because of my skin condition but it just grosses me out with the way it feels. I rub my mum's friend's feet but that's only because she pays me or buys me stuff. When my mum asked me to put lotion on her back I said "I'm busy." she kept asking me then she started yelling so I finally told her no. She threw a temper tantrum and said she won't pick me up from book club anymore. It was all well and good till she text my phone saying, "I told India I'm not going to drive you to work so she took you off the schedule. Ha ha ha" my mum got me fired from work because she was mad. She also messaged me on Facebook saying "I just asked your sister if she wants your chairs." now she is giving my older sister my new chairs we just bought. Last night when this all was happening she would pass by my room and sing "I got Shaina fired! I got Shaina fired!" so I called my dad at work and he came home and told me it was completely fair about what she did and that I need to be better. Yes I know I should've done what she asked me to do but when did getting your daughter fired fair for not rubbing lotion on someone's back? I can't stop crying. When I gave her attitude, cause I was in the middle of a 200 point test, she immediately latched onto that, and just started to get me more and more upset, and then when I would walk out of the room to calm down, she would follow me into my room and attempt to take away my kindle, which i was using to distract myself, and keep from completely blowing up at her. eventually she left, and then she got upset because I had left her laptop on a book so it was propped up and would not overheat. She told me that she had asked me not to and that it didn't matter that no harm would come to the computer, but it mattered that she had asked me not to. She then proceeded to move the computer, which unplugged it, which made the computer shut down, which made me loose the progress I had made in a 54 question, 200 point test. I immediately was on the defense, and I started to get upset. I went back to my room, and wrote her a message, explaining why it upset me, and I apologized for giving attitude. When I came back out of my room, we started to talk, and I spoke to her calmly and respectfully. She has always said that If we speak to her calmly she will listen. instead she started to interrupt me. It was like she wanted me to get mad. And then when I did, she punished me for it. I can't go to dance, which a major source of stress relief for me. please help. I don't know how to get her to listen to me. I tried being calm. I tried being rude. It didn't work. |

And now their getting married and he wants me to attend his wedding even though he recently tried to ruin my relationship with my boyfriend and wants me to see him happy? I finished college and needed a place to stay and now I am staying with him. He is pretty much my only immediate family. I have never seen him have a job or really do anything worthwhile. He is pretty blatantly wrong about everything and is very aggressive. I am basically trying to decide whether to try and get closer to him or to just be done ith him when I can get a job and move out of here. He has been a career criminal his entire life, drinks before the clock even hits pm. He wants respect but I just can't give it to him. What do I do. I don't have anywhere else to go right now. As I speak he cracks open a beer and drives away lmfao. Pretty much what I was thinking, thank you guys. I just have to get a job ASAP. So I have a problem, my father does not like me spending all my time with my boyfriend who is in the Air Force. Now I did the math, I spend 6% of the year with my boyfriend in town. Terrible percentage, 94% of the year for those of you who are in military relationships, are hard and long and so depressing. But when my boyfriend is in town I wake up and go to his house and hangout with him either there or my house(usually his since his family needs to spend time with him too) until midnight everyday. But my dad gets all moody saying that I spend too much time with him. He acts all disproving and like I'm a horrible daugter(he's very old fashioned). This to me is absolutely ridiculous. If I'm in the Same town but not by my boyfriends side I feel so restless like I finally have him so close why am I wasting my time not by his side? But my father does not understand. My boyfriend and I have been dating for 2 years. And he still treats him like he's temporary and he can tell us how to have our relationship. And I'm 19, aren't I old enough to decide how my relationship goes during that barely 6 percent i get? What do I do? They own land and have their house built on it, which they are still making mortgage payments on. They have tons of health issues and are always in and out of the hospital. Posted: 21 May 2015 09:45 AM PDT Many years ago I realized that a relative of mine wasn't caring properly for their baby and I stepped in and sucessfully raised that child with considerable help from my mother. I am married now, my husband's family has met her, knows her background and knows that I gave her some opportunities that she wouldn't have had otherwise. Recently they've pushed me and my husband into helping a neice of his who's 22, has a 2 year old, doesn't work, has warrants for her arrest, drinks, does drugs and seems to be maddeningly preoccupied with sex. We let her and her son live with us for a few months at the beginning of this year. She was the house guest from hell and her son was a screaming banshee but we made the best of it. She up and left with the child in tow (chasing a man across country) without even saying goodbye a couple of months ago. The room she occupied was left littered with empty liquor bottles, "marital aids" and dried vomit. She only contacts my husband when she needs money (several hundred at a time) and has not said a word to me since she left. For myself, I am done with her. My husband's family keeps asking what we're going to do about her and acting like she's somehow my responsibility. In my mind, I feel like I've done more than my share and I'm washing my hands of her. Her father has been no help, grandparents etc. could have stepped in years ago and had an affect but didn't. How can I make them understand that I can't fix a prob that they have ignored for years? |

I can't talk about it with my family, and I feel so alone. I'm going to be 25 in a few weeks, and I'm an aspiring professor. I'm working hard in my field to achieve my dream. I always put others before myself and am willing to donate a kidney to a complete stranger. Everyone at work seems to like me, but deep down inside, I hate myself. I had an abusive childhood where my father never loved me, but we're slowly working out our issues now. I have a fear of abandonment, but I enjoy my personal space a bit too much. Because of my temper, I despise myself. I'm a happy-go-lucky person, but when I'm angry, it's like I'm a totally different person. I fought with my mom yesterday because she was yelling at me, but I didn't know that her best friend died. She's going through a hard time, and I hate myself for fighting with her. I have such big dreams in life, but I feel unworthy of them. Sometimes, I contemplate suicide, but I hold myself back. It bothers me a lot. I am in school to become a lawyer and majoring in criminal justice and she wants to be a social worker, now of course because I switched my major to CRIM and her cousin just graduated with a CRIM major and her other cousin is switching to law now she wants to be a social worker within the prisons. She always gets whatever she wants because she has grandparents and other family who just hand her over stuff when she wants it. I lost my job almost three years ago and it has been really hard for me to find one because of my school schedule, I even took summer courses this year to get ahead and she is mad about that.she let's me know every single day she has a job and I don't. My mom and sister both say it is jealousy and that's the reason she acts this way because she knows it bothers me.Which it does. I cry almost everyday I talk to her. She got a job as a dispatcher, and is shadowing a cop next month and also taking a tour of the jails, I was told NO when I called and asked about doing that so it doesn't make sense to me at all. Seriously, the lunch yesterday was lasagna and it tastes like lasagna that was left out for a day, then microwaved. I don't know HOW or WHY they think it's OK to make us eat this. When I asked my parents why they won't let me take my own lunches, they just said that every day when they went to school, they ate the lunch there. Well that was back in their time where capitalists DIDN'T take over the education system and corrupt it. They also said it's cheaper to get a lunch there than to buy the individual ingredients to make a home lunch. WTF!!!? It's not like we're anywhere even CLOSE to poor, so I don't know why they still won't let me. I got up early today to start making my own lunch (we have the supplies to make one), so I got out a brown paper bag, some bread, lunch meat, and other supplies to make my own lunch. But then my mom came downstairs and when she saw me, was like,"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?" She then came towards me and took my lunch and threw it away. Choosing a college major has never come across as a problem until just recently. My parents were always that kind of parent that always was against their kid's dream job. When I was younger, they taught me to become a doctor, a lawyer etc. Last summer, I finally found out what I am passionate about: Design. I have been constantly amused by the designs of other people and since then I have not stopped designing. However, soon after, realizing that pursuing a career as a designer was unrealistic. Nevertheless, excited to tell my parents about what I am truly passionate about, they were extremely unsupportive of this. That came as a shock. Finally I came to terms and decided on a economy major. Once again, my parents were extremely against this. They want me to become an engineer saying that "technology is our future" Every single time this discussion come up, my parent end up being extremely mad. Just a few minutes ago we had this discussion and my mother just black mailed me to send me to public school which is a nightmare since I was raised in a private school system (not to mention my inferiority of the Chinese language. I am too much of a wuss to even rebel against them. I can not even believe that my parents are doing this to me. The more I know them, the more I loose respect for them especially in the way they educate me. What should I do? |

Posted: 21 May 2015 06:34 AM PDT Hi, I'm a 16 year old girl who is homeschooled and I have no friends and I live in a trailer park where there is nothing but creeps and even the neighbor kids are weird as hell, we have 3 female cats who had a batch of kittens each and none of them are getting rid of because we've tried Craigslist and it costs money to give them to a shelter and we never have money so yeah they get into everything and me and my mom are always yelling at cats its stressful. We also have a scummy *** dog that no one will take because she listens like a brick and she has a chewing disorder which causes her to breakout in road rash and we've gave her calming pills and skin creams specials shampoos even a different diet like the vet said to and nothing works, she's a pain. Posted: 21 May 2015 06:16 AM PDT It's is so hard to describe how I am feeling but I feel so empty and really lonely and it's not something that just comes and goes I've been feeling this way for a while now. I'm only 16 but I am majorly depressed and if it were not for my mum I would probably have ended my life already and the worse thing is even when I am happy it only lasts for a short while. My girlfriend cheated on me with my best friend, my grandad passed away, I've never had a father figure, everyone is only out for themselves and overall I have lost happiness for life and living. I feel guilty also because my mum wasn't/isn't able to have any more children due to my birth and she was only young at the time (20/21) .. feels like everything is my fault. I go to sleep some nights just holding back the tears because I am that unhappy with life and I know it sounds strange but I enjoy cuddling up and being close to my mum and we share so much. We have a really close and strong bond and she is the only reason why I am still here. My aunt is staying with us for a little while and I am close to her too but things aren't easy. I just take each day as it comes. |

As well my phone is being monitored, by texts, facebook and there's a tracking device. None on Google thank god. Ive never been in trouble with the law, never spoken to a police officer before. My school average is a 89. I had a car. Which I payed for. Insurance and all. And they took it away. I have a job, which they make me walk to 45 minutes to walk there, another 45 to get back. The only trouble I got in was when I was admitted to hospital because I tried to kill myself, BECAUSE OF MY PARENTS. And they never even came to visit me. I need to get out of the house:'( the only time I have alone time is when I'm in the tub/shower. Besides that my parents are up my *** 24/7. I'm not aloud outside. Home alone. Or to go to school. They pulled me out last week, I have one month of highschool left forever and they won't let me go. |

My parents have said that I could do better and that I should have someone to be with while I am in a different state but I shouldn't get serious with him. Last time they visited they didn't want me to break up with him because I would be alone in another state. This week they came to town and made it clear that they didn't like him. A massive argument started when I voiced that I felt trapped in the middle. Each side was saying negative things about the other. When I voiced my issue they turned on each other. My parents are my family and I value their opinion but I also feel close to my boyfriend and it hurts that my parents don't want me to become serious. My back story is that I have a daughter from a marriage that ended horribly. My parents spent $10000 to get me divorced and to fight for equal custody of my daughter. I just graduated college with my B.A. And my dad wants me to focus on my job and priorities. I remain conflicted and need advice. If I stay with my boyfriend and become serious then my life will remain with me always in the middle. If I leave my boyfriend then I feel like my parents are controlling me. Anyone have any advice? I am not living in my home state anymore due to my custody agreement and I am afraid I will end up without my parents and a boyfriend who supports me the best he can. |

Well when I graduated no one showed up of my relatives even though I invited them .it was just me and my brother and my parents . I just felt so sad and envious ofof all the other graduates that had their whole families and had so much fun and I had to just settle for dinner and get back home at only 8 pm while eveyone is out till dawn . also all my friends were with their families so i couldnt have gone out with them . I just feel so sad and frustrated. My parents told me to not give a **** about it and i know they're right but i cant.what would you do?and what about when I need them in the future u know like weddings and stuff? |

Fast forward 32 months&the mom has yet to retrieve the rest of her possessions from the basement of the relative's house she and her daughter lived with for 11 months before her daughter left for college. She does not pay the relative any money for storing the stuff and insists that her stuff be left alone at all times to the point of throwing fits if she thinks someone has touched anything according to my friend. 1 1/2 yes ago she was contracted by her brother via Facebook and ordered to retrieve the stuff from their mother's basement ASAP(the relative is my friend's granny BTW) or he would ship it to the Salvation Army. Rather than make arrangements to retrieve the stuff,my friend said her mom called the granny at 3 am raising Hades. Communication between brother&sister was then severed,but the granny continues to hint at getting rid of the stuff. My friend has tried to reason with her mom that she's better off just letting the stuff go&telling the granny to get rid rid of it, since there's no room in their apartment, but her mom won't hear it & continues to act as if the granny should just keep all that stuff cluttering her basement w/o complaint, b/c it belongs to her child. Is it normal to keep your stuff at other people's house for this long or is there a limit? |

He even openly admits he did it on purpose, and it greatly shames me and pisses me off when he does it. He has his entire life literally handed to him. We both live at his mothers old condo, paying her mortgage, utilities and the like because I had no money at the time to make it anywhere else and he got in for free because his mom- like his disability- hands him his life. Key point: He lives the dream, making money to do WHATEVER he ******* wants. He should be happy. Instead, he's the rudest hypocrite I know. I make about 600 to 700$ a month on my benefits to go to College. This is also meant to pay for books and school supplies. I make my half of the rent monthly (550$) and he does not, claiming bills take over his budget. Then he goes out and buys Pokemon cards and Megaman toys. He leaves disgusting dishes behind, sometimes getting moldy unless I clean them up, yet he bitches about my cleanliness (I have a corner I keep dirty laundry stacked in folded piles, sorted for laundry and my beds not made usually, books and homework are kinda stacked on my desk disorganized.) His room is a trainwreck. There is literally a valley through piles of dirty laundry, boxes of "Collectors Toys" and other trashy ****. His bed smells like farts and garbage. The list goes on and on and on, how do I deal with his attitude and fix him? |
