Question: What do I do about my future MIL and her wedding guest list? Posted: 23 May 2015 09:43 PM PDT Long story, short. My parents are paying for our wedding plus rehearsal and my fiancee and I set a total of 130 guests, so 65/65 because I come from a small family. My future MIL and his sister FREAKED out and stated they both needed at least 130 invites for their family ALONE. I have no idea what to do because this is stressing me out to the max. Any advice or going through a similar situation is appreciated. |
Question: Should I change my dress for my friend's wedding as her usher? Posted: 23 May 2015 08:56 PM PDT So my friend asked if I would be an usher at her wedding. I said yes and she asked me to wear a cheongsam as she saw me wearing one before and loved the style. Other than that there were no other specifics and I wasn't really included in much of the wedding details. However, I just found out that the wedding colors are green and yellow and that the bridesmaids are wearing green dresses with gold clutches and gold heels. I already bought a green floral cheongsam and a gold clutch and gold heels. The wedding is a week away and I'm freaking out because I'm obviously not part of the bridal party but I'm going to be wearing the wedding colors. Should I change my dress (if I do it will have to be an ordinary party dress since I don't have the time to get another cheongsam) or should I just go ahead and wear it? I'm including a picture of the dress I bought. |

Question: Alterations for Groom's Wedding Coat: Victorian/Renaissance Themed Wedding? Posted: 23 May 2015 04:39 PM PDT I am trying to get the clothing together for my groom. Our wedding is themed, and finding reasonably priced Victorian era coats has been difficult though I found a site that has one I like, but the only size they have is 42 and my fiance's chest measures 38. This is a solid color wool frock coat has velvet accents at the sleeves and collar and special buttons, as well as special details in the back at the waist. Would a professional tailor be able to alter this, considering its cut and detail? This is something I have to order online so it's not like I can just buy it and take it to the tailor then return it easily if they say they can't alter it. Fortunately, our wedding is toward the end of the year so I do have a little time but I'd like to get things taken care of as I can. Additionally, if anyone has sites for period clothing (Victorian and Renaissance) that would be great. Thanks in advance! |

Question: Where can I find very good quality gift boxes? Posted: 22 May 2015 03:46 PM PDT I am looking for good quality square gift boxes (5" x 5" or slightly larger), but am only coming across the paper-thin ones. This is for very expensive wedding favors. Either plain white or something colorful like in the pic below will do. Any help would be much appreciated! |
Question: Help to pick out the red flags.? Posted: 20 May 2015 08:00 PM PDT you are dating someone over the internet, social media, skype, text messages. You both live in different states. You have your own house, your own business, a kick *** degree, and work for a financial institution. He flies out to spend two weeks with you. Comes back because you both live in different states. Before your second date he proposes. Before his divorce was final he proposes. Along the way, he has cheated on you and the other woman contacts you out of the blue.He beat this other woman because she contacted you. After being beaten she still contacts you to tell you the truth. All of his legal issues are on the internet. All of this is occurring before your wedding which is a year away. Where are the red flags? what are his intentions? what can make you not see the red flags and take heed to warning? |
Question: Define this type please? Posted: 20 May 2015 07:51 PM PDT constantly cheats and is a compulsive liar. Making life long commitments to get what he wants and never truly being committed in heart. Beats on women and always tries to get people to feel sorry for him. Truly does this type ever change? If they don't where does all of this leads him to? |
