I had not seen him for a long time until yesterday. I was walking up the stairs and I noticed someone kept snapping their fingers at me jokingly. I thought it was a guy flirting with me. Then, I looked up and I noticed it was him. He was smiling and in a joking mood. I then felt funny and we both said hi to each other and then I said How are you? as I kept turning around as we walked past each other and he said "Good, and you?" while smiling and he was further away from me already. What was funny is we kept talking while we were walking away from each other because he was with a friend. Was snapping his fingers flirting? Because he kept doing it until I said hi. |

I drink too dont get me wrong but honestly i would rather have it like once a month thing. Anyways drama occured and we have gone our seperate ways. I want to be around people who are motivated in improving their life and not satisfied with just getting by and relying on the government. Currently i am working a part time job and am landing interviews for full time work that will put me back to university. I really dont have much money to be enrolling in classes and taking all these interesting activities. Things i enjoy are learning new things like youtube piano lessons lol or playing a video game for an hour, but then again it doesnt get me out meeting new people around my area...i also enjoy outdoor stuff like fishing or go karting but it sucks not having a group to do it with. Is there options for making friends on a budget ? |

Let's start from the beginning, I was sarahsfirst friend in preschool, since she had Just moved here. So we're in 1st grade and we meet Zoe. They're were "advanced" classes that the 1-3 graders took, Mrs. Flares. Both Zoe and Sarah took those classes, I didn't. In 4th grade, Sarah gets into Mrs. Giovinelli's class, but Zoe and I didn't. It started out when Sarah would skip recess to do homework in Mrs. G's. Zoe and I had never liked that Mrs. G's class became like a cult. In 5th grade, both Zoe and I had really good test scores for the language arts. Enabling us to get into Mrs. G's, so when sixth grade started we had decided to not take the class, knowing that if we did, we would never escape the cult. So after a month after 6th grade started, Sarah kept begging us to join. So Zoe gave way and joined Mrs. G's practically ignoring the pact we had made the previous year. Soon enough Zoe started missing recess and lunch to help Madison (which is also my name,) clean out Mrs. G's cabinate. Without even inviting Sarah. Zoe won't wear pajamas to school if the whole grade is wearing pajama because she embarrassed, but if only one class (25 people) she will wear them, because it's mrs Gs class. Now it's highschool and they're doing the same thing to me again how do I make them stay as my bestfriends? But have them stop treating me like week old garbage.? |

Last year when we first met it was one of the best friendships ive ever made. From the first day, we clicked. Every day after that was we were inseperable, always talking in school, she would come to my locker (she is literally right across from me), she would always text me "hey good luck at your game" or "heard you won! Congrats😘" hanging out all the time, laughing, smiling, making memories, being best friends.. I was so happy, not a care in the world.. This year has been much different. Ive learned to cope with it much better than more of the beginning of the year, but we still talk in the hallway like hey or "How are you?" But she doesnt come to my locker anymore she hangs out with all the guys in the morning, im in that group too and i say hey to everyone but i dont really stay there anymore, she never texts me anymore.. Its always me, it takes her a longer time to answer, when i give her the best advice i absolutely can give she says thank you😘 like of course ill do anything for you, ive talked to her about it bc i have felt things changed and we were distancing and she said i kinda see it and i said you should just text me sometimes hey how are ya? We have been together well over a year and decided to engage in some mutually consensual sexual behavior. I entrusted our mutual friend with this intimate secret over text and she has since turned against us. It started with her occasionally smoking or having a drink (which I understand is normal for teenagers to experiment) but it has since morphed into a full on addiction to vicodin, percocet, and cigarettes, along with marijuana, alcohol, and various other "street drugs." I noticed that she was high today while she was working in her family's grocery store and tried to text her to let her know that I was worried about her. However, she has my account blocked on the messaging application we all use(Kik). I called my boyfriend and begged him to text her. He said, "If you don't stop we'll tell your mom." She responded half an hour later, "If you tell anyone I'll show her mom screenshots proving that you and (my name) have sex on a regular basis." We have only ever been kind to her and I don't understand why she is doing this. I live in the bible belt, which means that i have christian conservative parents. They could punish me extensively if they believed her over me. They could prevent me from getting the education I have an opportunity to get. Please give me some insight on how to diffuse the situatuion. |

We live in the West coast and John is moving away to the east coast in a couple months, and he let me and Brent both know. I told him I wished him good luck and didn't complain or harp on it, but our friend Brent is constantly complaining and whining about it when we're with other people or when he's at my house. And I've been trying to be sympathetic to Brent but he's getting to the point where he's being rude, insensitive and annoying about it. Brent always talks about his special bond with John and how much he'll miss him, and he's started saying he'll have no friends (keep in mind I'm standing right there having that said to me) as well as other selfish and rude things. So honestly, how could I handle this drama and hopefully get this towards being resolved? It's getting too petty, I'm too old for this and it's starting to really drive me nuts. |

My mom does not like his parents because of their hippie lifestyle. My friend and his family does not believe in working full time I always loved his family however my mom would get upset when I was with them. What I feel wrong about is kissing him when we hang out with one another. | Question: I'm completely friendless and would like advice? Posted: 21 May 2015 02:14 PM PDT I don't have any friends at all which sometimes gets me down, however for the past few months I've been fairly satisfied with this situation. Although this is the case I do get lonely, especially when I see on social networking sites people I used to spend time with living a fulfilling life, whereas mine is fairly unchanging. I have tried many times in the past to meet new people, I have done a lot of voluntary work and got on well with people but nothing has developed further that work banter. I currently work at a small shop where I only have 1 other co-worker (besides my managers) so that isn't somewhere I can make friends. My life consists of going to work and coming home and that's all. It doesn't help either that I'm introverted and enjoy home based hobbies.. Any ideas on what efforts I could make in my attempt to make friends? |

All my freinds have started going out more often to like dessert places restrunats and just parks in genral. I always want to look good and try my best also dress my best all the time but make it look like no effort. All my freinds dont care how they look its so weird and they wear joggers? I like to look my best. I havent been out apart from school now for about 2 months and its really weird. I just feel so out of place and wrong also im a guy. I called one of them at a time on Skype and they messaged me back saying that they are both busy. I ask one why, then says he is talking to (the other friend). I ask if I can join the call... I do but they ignore me. Ex: Im talking about something and they laugh at something they are doing together. not even knowing what I said. |

My issue is I am getting married in a month and only 1 of my friends is coming to the wedding. The wedding is about a 3 hour drive for everyone. The reason I am upset is one friend can't make it due to a family reunion...a family reunion on a Friday (that is the day I am getting married)?? Really! The other one just said she can't make it. It really hurts because one of them (the one with the family reunion) had a wedding not too long ago and everyone came to hers! Everyone was all about helping her and we talked about it for months. Now that my wedding is here no one evens mentions it. I am beyond hurt. I would do EVERYTHING i could to attend a good friends wedding. Now they aren't supporting me! Need advice. |

I really hate my class and ive pretty much given up on them. I have a few acquaintances but i definitely would not call them friends....i also feel like such a loser because i never get invited to parties (well, i got invited to ONE but it wasnt really a party there were like 2 people). I really want to go to parties and get drunk and do crazy teenager stuff bc idk i just dont want to care anymore. I feel like now is when i should be doing those "bad" things because later, it will really affect me and now i have the freedom and i feel like im wasting it. I feel like im running out of time and wasting my life away. Ive also never had a boyfriend even though ive been told by strangers that i am beautiful...should i change schools because i want a better class? I just want to be around better people and be popular and get invited to parties. Right now, i hate my social life (i barely even have one). Do you think if i change schools, theres a chance i could be popular and make a lot of friends? Or would changing schools only make it worse? At school, im pretty comfortable because there are almost always people i feel comfortable hanging out with so im afraid that if i change schools i will just be an outsider...do you think its worth it? Also, is it even possible for me to change this late in the year? (I have 2 weeks left of school). I havent even looked at other possibilities. |
| Question: Why does my friends relationship make me sick? Posted: 21 May 2015 01:30 PM PDT So in 2009 my friend went on a date, and he disappeared for 2 weeks. Out of no where he shows up at his place with this girl, and starts packing up saying he is moving in with her. He then disappears again for a couple of months. He eventually, on occasion, shows up with her wearing matching outfits and stuff and its so gay. In 2012 they got married, and created a Facebook account together with the name of us, then his last name. I haven't seen him since probably 2013 so its been a couple years but they always post pictures of then wearing matching outfits and now they wear the same exact glasses too, its so gay and makes me sick. She is ugly as hell too. Is it wrong I think they're fake and I get sick reading they're posts? |

I consider them to be a friend and something of a mentor. They've been talking to me on a more personal level lately, and it makes me feel a little uncomfortable. Thinking about it I think it's a difference in dynamics. I feel like their expectations for me, and what I should do are different than my own. I just feel a little uncomfortable telling them personal things because of this, like they'll see me differently from it. Also the way they ask things, it just feels kind of like they're probing me. Later, we got into this HUGE fight and I told him I didn't wanna be his friend anymore because I got really mad. We stopped talking for a little, & then I got him to talk to me and I apologized for saying that to him and I told him I didn't mean it. But even then, he still said he doesn't wanna be friends with a person who doesn't wanna be friends with him. He also told me there were a few more reasons to why he doesn't want to be my friends I expected an apology from him too, because when 2 people get in a fight they have got to apologize both right? Well yea he said he doesn't feel like he has to apologize cause he thought he didn't do anything wrong. Despite that, I tried to work it out but he stopped talking to me. My problem is that this is an unresolved conflict and I need him to talk to me because I need to figure out what I did wrong. I literally have dreams about this guy and us not talking. PLEASE HELP IDK WHAT TO DO! :( |

My mom told me that im a loser because i dont go to parties and i told her everyone gets drunk at them anyways and she told me its fun to do those things or at least pretend to. I caught her today and yelled at her and said that she needs to get herself together and to not speak to me until shes ready. Now ive told my other best friend about this and shes saying to talk to her about it but idk how to since i told her not to. Posted: 21 May 2015 01:03 PM PDT Basically, I dislike my social circle a lot, since they are very rude to people who are nice, get into trouble a lot, and are selling things in school to other students when its banned etc. I only stick around with them because we have many identical interest etc. We all are literally the same person. I made this other friend and she was my bestie, until she fell out with my social circle and started hanging out with this other girl who fell out with my birthday twin. So, I tried to mingle with them, but its really hard since I'm quite antisocial, so I just left. And so the day that this happened, I skipped lunch and went to the library because I had no one to sit with in the cafeteria. And now I always do that, and since I don't eat breakfast as theres not enough time, I thiught whats the point of eating at all. So from Mon-Fri I don't eat anything. I just starve. I don't know whats wrong with me. But now I'm on top in school, and I complete all my homework in the library and I have no friends tbh. I just roam around the campus alone. I've done everything to do with school and now I have nothing to do. Can anyone think of something I can do continuosly instead of just walking around campus until class starts? |
