Question: What to do about my mom insulting me about my weight? Posted: 19 May 2015 12:54 PM PDT I've always been overweight (i am 14 now), recently my mom started mocking me about it.Last week we were having dinner with her boyfriend from few years and she started telling me how much i ate in front of him, he agreed with her and they both said somethings which were supposed to be funny but were insulting to me.I got angry, got off the table and went to my room, my mom got angry at me because i was mad at her.She didn't even really apologized, i told her 'aren't you going to say that you are sorry' and she said she was sorry, but like 'ok, sorry'. On Sunday it happened something similar, again at dinner with her boyfriend she started telling me how much i ate. Today she walked into my room and said she remembered something. After she gave birth she wanted sunglasses for her birthday because she couldn't fit into any clothes (that is because this year i want sunglasses for my birthday, but not because i can't fit into anything).I got mad at her but said only 'ok'.Later today i heard her talking with my aunt on the phone and she told her the same story. I don't eat junk food, i exercise but i don't go for walks because right now it is spring time and i have allergies.Yesterday i went for a ten minute walk and i got terrible headache and started whizzing. The problem with me is that i don't eat a lot because i can't control myself, i eat more than i am suppose to because if i don't eat properly i start to feel fatigue and get stomachache and this is a |

Question: Dad makes mom chose between him or us ( kids) ? Posted: 19 May 2015 12:38 PM PDT Why does my dad always throw a tantrum when my mom is defending us from his bullying/ very unfair ways then he says so your picking them over me! and then he threatens to leave? Which he knows will make her try to reason with him. Is my dad being manipulative? He even got mad at her one time when watching a movie and the kid and husband got shot the wife ran to the husband only and my mom was like what about her baby and my dad made a comment " that's cuz she's worth something" to my mom and she was like what do you mean? And he was like yea you would run to the kid wouldn't you. |

Question: 22,guy, treated like a 12 year old? Posted: 19 May 2015 12:22 PM PDT I am pakistani but raised in U.S but my dad treats me like a kid. Everytime i step out of the house: where are you going? When will you be back? And god forbid if im studying in library past 10, my phone starts going off. I dont get it, i can work until 12 at night but cant be out? I fail to believe that its because my dad cares for me, hes doing this out of suspicion(i have never done anything wrong, i attend one of the most competitive nursing programs in nursing while working full time). My option at this point is to use all my savings to rent a room and move out and have to take out college loans for tuition. Any other recommendations? Ive already tried expressing my concerns to them with no resolution in sight. In ****** tired of being treated like a kid. |
Question: My wife's mother hates us? Posted: 19 May 2015 12:00 PM PDT My wife J, and I have been married for 6 years now. We met in freshman year hs on the web. We dated LD for about a year and broke up because her depression really kicked in. We stayed friends. Her mother knew about me, and she liked me. J's mother married a man and the man she married was living in Flordia. So Senior year, her family all moved and I drove to pick her up for the weekend to catch up. Few months later, J was getting help for her depression and few months after that, we got back together. After college, I drove to her mom's house and asked for her blessings. The woman cried and hugged me and said yes. I took J on a trip to Paris and proposed. When we got back, J's mother didn't talk to us. We tried to call her, but she'd never answer. She wasn't present at the wedding either. Recently, we've decided that we wanted a child and have begun the process of adoption. Suddenly, J's mother popped back into existence. She called my cellphone @ 5 in the morning and had screamed at me, calling me a crazy lesbo ***** and that she can't believe her daughter married me. J had woken up and took the phone from me and shouted at her mother. The women would not stop screaming at her so I took the phone and hung it up and J just sobbed. We've been getting phone calls almost every day from her mother and it's just crushing J. My family just adores J, loves her to death, but I do not know why there is such a sudden hostility in my mother-in-law. We're both at an utter loss here. |
Question: Am I wrong for enforcing these rules? Posted: 19 May 2015 11:28 AM PDT I have rules in my house no cats on the counter no dogs crapping on my floor no children running in the house standing on furnature basic stuff. I have a 4yr old step son if he is doing somthing wrong like putting his feet on table when there is food or drink then I tell him no. Now the problem here is when daddy is around getting actual disapline happens after the 100th no well not in my house. I dont expect him to listean all the time he is 4 but I am not gunna argue with him over every single thing I mean this litterally if he argues with me over too many things to many times tv goes off for a little bit like 5-10 min. My husband fights with me about this to him what he is doing at the time is not that serious but like ive told him a million times him not listeaning over everything is the issue sometimes no means no. Question: I'm 15 and I have a mustache and my parents won't let me remove it?!?!? Posted: 19 May 2015 11:27 AM PDT I'm 15 years old. My name is James and I have a mustache. Young for a mustache, I know. My Parents are not letting me remove my mustache! They warned me several times not to remove it because they say men MUST grow a mustache, but I don't want it! Even girls hate it. I really hate it too. They warned me that if I remove it secretly, then I will be grounded! I tried to have a nice chat with them. We sat down in the weekend. Everyone was having a good time relaxing. I told them politely that I want to remove it. They refused. I bought them gifts, they still refuse! They are forcing me to keep it!! HELP!!! |
Question: Should I move out on my own? Posted: 19 May 2015 11:14 AM PDT I am 19 going on 20 and my living situation at home is not so well. I am a college student and I work part time at a law office. My mother went through a lot at my age and she ended up being a single mother with two kids. She eventually remarried and I was raised by my step father. My mother seems to take all her anger out on me for what she went through with my biological father. She will kick me out every chance she gets and when I try talking to my family about it (including my step father) she tells me they are not my family and they are hers. She also tells me to stop looking for somebody to defend me because nobody will. She also makes threats about me coming home one day and finding my clothes outside my house. She also has threaten my step father she will leave the house if he helps me in any financial way. Leaving their kids and him.. I feel like I am the cause of their problems. There is not a day I don t cry and look for help within somebody. I do have a car that I am making payments. The car payments don t have a firm car note.. Its based on whatever I can give every month. |
Question: My mom destroyed my life!?!? Posted: 19 May 2015 11:12 AM PDT Ok I hate her so Much. I'm 14 Male. My mom is a *****... Sorry. She is always against me. ALWAYS. And by Always, I mean everything I do! She hates me so much and in the night, I hear her talking to my dad and turning him against me! She keeps telling saying I don't study just to turn my dad against me. But all my grades are A or B in school! I always get excellent marks! My dad shouted at me last night... Because of her. Last exam, I got an A, and she's not happy about it! Few days ago, I was playing on my Gaming Pc, she just came in and took the screen away! She turned my dad against me and he hates me so much even though I help him all the freakin' day! What have I done wrong? Nothing! It is wrong to hate my mother but she's horrible! She always looks at me in an evil way, but when my brother comes home, she acts so kind with him! She loves him so much and I am the bad guy in the family because of her! I tried talking, I gave her gifts in Mother's Day, but she never listens! She is evil! I can't wait until university.... Help! (Btw in university I'm moving out) |
Question: My two daughters are fighting a lot...? Posted: 19 May 2015 11:07 AM PDT I have two daughters age 5 and 7. Like siblings they fight; but lately the fighting has escalated. they cannot be in the same room without arguing. If one laughs the other gets upset because her sister is laughing at her (it's crazy!). If we are not around they hit each other and then deny it. One of them bit herself and blamed it on her sister. We know it wasn't true because of the bite mark and she told the truth once we confronted her. It is very stressful for my husband and I. I am in tears at least twice a week because I do not know how to help them stop. The fights are for the smallest/silliest things. We do not want to tell them not to hit and hit them so our way of correcting their behavior is by taking privileges away (playdates, toys, TV, movies) but this does not seem to be enough. We also separate them but they always end up together again. They do not see fighting at home. We are blessed with a peaceful marriage we really do not know what else to do. Any suggestions please? |
Question: I hate my father and? Posted: 19 May 2015 10:50 AM PDT When I was a baby I was neglected my dad wasnt around he traveled all the time because he was running from my crazy mom. But in the process of running he left me my sister my special needs brother and my other sister who my mom had, had pervious to this marriage. We were all abused my mom did unimaginable things to me and my siblings. My dad even participated at times, and to top it all off when they split I had to go live with a insane person for a hole year. I mean Ive been beaten, yelled at scared for my sisters life scared for my moms life and my special needs brothers life and all this happened before I was 6. Anyways not the first summer I lived with my mom but the next when I turned 7 I went to go live with my dad. My mom had, had another kid that I learned later she put up for adoption my dad was just talking about it he thought she told me I didnt even get to say goodby. But even pervious to all this my dad when he was in his 20s had a daughter that he abandoned. A little girl who all she wanted in the world was her dad, he made promises to her that he lied about. If I had kids, I couldn't fathom leaving my kids anywhere nobody could stand between me and finding my kids I would move mountains brake every rock on earth to find them. So I can forgive my dad somewhat ,when he was married to my mom. Now im 17 havent seen my mom in 9 years my sister is 30 and all I want is the chance that got robbed from me and all I want is to get to know my sister. I hate my dad. |
Question: How do I help my brother who is smoking and popping pills? Posted: 19 May 2015 10:26 AM PDT My brother started smoking cigarettes when he was 15 and this past month (at 17) we found out he has been popping painkillers. My parents are at a loss, he does what he wants whenever he wants, his friends all smoke and do drugs/weed, he always comes home at like 2:30AM, listens to shitty metal emo screamo music, and they are too afraid to tell him no and they do not know how to discipline him. I would really appreciate some help as my sister and I found out he was planing on getting some cocaine as well. If anyone has any advice or similar stories PLEASE let me know because I don't want to lose my brother. |
Posted: 19 May 2015 10:21 AM PDT I'm 16. My dad has serious anger management issues, cheated on my mum and shows little to no love apart from when he feels like it. He's selfish, inconsiderate and only acts like he cares when my mum is in the room. I can't take living with him but have no where else to go till I (hopefully) go to uni. Any advice? |
Question: Am I wrong? Am I just a disrespectful child? Posted: 19 May 2015 10:20 AM PDT I'm fifteen years old and my heart is heavy. All my life, my mother has been drinking and verbally abusing me and some points in time, hitting me. She has even abandoned me a couple of time. As I got older, I started disobeying her, cursing her and yelling at her every time she drinks alcohol. I lost all respect for her. Everyone keeps saying that I'm wrong. I'm just bad. In the bible says children who disobeys their parents will be put to death. I don't know what to do anymore..the anger I feel towards this woman is so strong...Am I wrong?...I feel like a bad person. |
Question: I think I hurt my dads feelings? Posted: 19 May 2015 10:16 AM PDT Today I was playing games and he wanted the whole family to go to a restraunt to eat. I agreed cuz I was hungry and needed a break. At the restaurant I was in the middle of getting my food when I hear my dad say "John was some shrimp left take some of his" for some reason I snapped at that and said " why are you trying to steal my food!?" "Stop trying to steal my food!?" In a yelling manner. The whole night after that got silent. Later he came to me and said "remember when you used to care about me?" He pulls out a drawing I made him on Father's Day when I was still a kid. Then he started crying. This was the first time I ever saw him cry |
Question: Should I reach out to him, or should I just leave well enough along? Posted: 19 May 2015 10:06 AM PDT I have an 8 year old son, I had him at the young age of 17. When he was about 7 months or so I decided to leave his father alone, because we really weren't going the same direction in life, he wanted to sell drugs and be in the streets, and I on the hand was focused on being a mother, going to school and make a life for my son and I, but I never did stop him from seeing his son. Well over the years he hasn't been consistent in my son's life at all. In fact his ex that he was with for 6 years told me that if it wasn't for her to tell him to go pick up his and spend time with him, that he wouldn't have. And I believe her, because its been a year sense they haven't been together and he hasn't called or seen my son sense. I despise him for what he's doing to my child, but as a Christian and a firm believer in God, I have to forgive him. Thankfully I have a fiancé who has been a great father figure to my son. But I was thinking about maybe reaching out to my son's father, just to see exactly what's going on, and to ask him does he even want to see his son... Or should I just let it be? I just hurt for my child because I know he's going to a questions one day. |

Question: How come my mother does not remember me but remembers her grandson (my son)? Posted: 19 May 2015 09:43 AM PDT My mother is 90 with Alzheimer's and dementia. She has almost completely forgotten who I am even though I check on her every other day. My teenage son on the other hand she still remembers his name, recognizes him, and reminds him of memories they have shared. I am thankful my mother has not forgotten my son but I am just clueless as to how someone with Alzheimer's and dementia can specifically remember and forget certain people. Can someone please explain? |
Question: My mum is making me depressed.? Posted: 19 May 2015 09:11 AM PDT everynight for the past 11 months my mother and I have been arguing non-stop. I'm 13 and a female. I used to just sit there while she yelled but then one day I finally snapped and it went on from there. I can't handle it anymore. I will be trying my hardest to do what she wants then the next minute she tells me to do something else and again and again and again. I get no time to myself and no privacy. I try to lock myself away from the world but it never works. I have been going to bed at 12am each night for almost a year because she wants me to do all this stuff but I can't and wonders why I'm always tired and never go to bed early. She yells at me 24/7 I can't handle it. I just wanna die. I wanna runaway and never look back. I'm really depressed and I have tried to talk to her but it never ends well. Just more and more yelling and screaming. It doesn't help that my brother, 16, never leaves me alone and also yells at me. I've been to councilling before but nothing has changed. And I'm also crying myself to sleep and dreaming of a better life I want but can't have. How do I stop all this fighting? Don't say to change my attitude because honestly I can't handle anymore of her **** or my brothers ****. I honestly want to kill myself but I'm to scared to do that. I tried telling her these things (not the suicide) but she still yells at me making excuses and telling me I can't do anything right. Please help me. |
Question: Why do most blue collar people have kids who cause trouble when they are young? Posted: 19 May 2015 09:08 AM PDT I was raised in an affluent area. Kids dressed well, and the worst thing they did was have parties when their parents were out of town. But as I get older, I notice that people who are raised by real blue collar people, seem to get in more trouble. They get arrested a lot, or get in fights. They just live rougher lives than the kids I went to school with. Many of them even dress differently. The kids I went to school with wore polos and Khakis. Golf and Tennis were popular sports. People who are raised by blue collar families seem to be more involved in ditching school, not being involved in athletics, and smoke pot during lunch. Ive seen it first hand. We used to call these kids burn outs in high school. Thoughts? Is it because their parents were the same way when they were their age? |

Question: Is it normal not to celebrate your Quinceañera? Posted: 19 May 2015 08:48 AM PDT When I turned 15 I didn't celebrate my quinceañera, even though all of the girls in my family did. I have to add: I don't have any siblings, and I am not fully mexican. My father is mexican, my mother american. Now to my question: Is it normal that I didn't celebrate it, although it seems to be a big deal in a girls life? I mean now I'm close to turning 16 so it's obvsly too late, however, I wouldn't change it (even if I could) |

Question: Protective little sister ? Posted: 19 May 2015 08:39 AM PDT It's usually normal for good brothers to turn into powerful and restless creatures when their sister's hearts are broken by the guy she loves. But is it common or a rare situation, when a girl turns into a restless creature after her brother's heart is broken by the girlfriend he loved ? This happened to me. I was in love with this girl since I was 16 in '05, but she was never serious all the way & in '11 tells me through her 'excuses' that she wants to break up & move on. I was in a emotionally broken state, when our little sister who was 16 at the time (now 20) one fateful day came across my ex at a cafe & beat her up. Our sister is pretty tough and she was grounded by our oldest brother who is her legal guardian (parents passed away 5 years ago). We were very upset by her childish actions I didn't speak to her for a couple of days. I know she did it out of love, but that wasn't the right move. I was capable dealing with the breakup & was pissed at the fact that she interfered into the matter (similar to how our oldest brother was to her, it's like she was imitating him, but in the wrong way) My oldest 2 brothers & a younger brother had to apologies to ex's family to not press charges over our sister (considering that our 2nd brother is a cop) , while he tried to prevent my ex's current jerky boyfriend to create problems to me. This is an old incident, but I was wondering are there sisters out there who display such strong protective nature especially to their brothers ? She is otherwise a very friendly and likeable person, it just that she doesn't tolerate bullying or anyone messing around with her friends or herself or if it's just an innocent student. She always stands up to defend them, so far it was just the beating up of my ex which became a huge issue. She's very much like our oldest brother. Oldest brother is an ex-marine, so ya.... |
Question: How do I stand up to a parent? Posted: 19 May 2015 08:19 AM PDT I'm a grown woman who lives on my own and am able to support myself, so that should count for something, right? But every time my dad gets mad at me he explodes. He curses and yells and makes me feel like nothing. It's always been this way growing up. If I fell short of his mark or did something he deemed wrong in any way, he would store it away and there would be a big explosion later. These days, I'm scared of saying no if he invites me to do something because of his volatile personality. I never know when the next explosion is coming so I'm always walking on egg shells. Frankly, I'm at the point where I'm done with it. I'm about ready to cut him out completely if he does it again. I don't want it to have to come to that, but I'm fed up. I've tried having a relationship with him, but it's like he wants to push me away with this stuff. How do I stand up for myself? How do I get out from under his thumb after spending so long there? |
Question: My family is scientifically illiterate? Posted: 19 May 2015 08:17 AM PDT Please help. When I was a kid, I loved science. I studied it as much as I could, and I ended up being a pretty smart kid. However, my family was less than happy about this. They are young earth creationists. That means they believe the universe is 6000 years old. I'm serious. Biological evolution, Big Bang, stellar evolution, tectonic plate motion, NONE of that ever happened according to them. My dad is mad at me because I told him I believe in these facts. What do I do? My dad also denies global warming, because apparently he knows better than like 97% of climatologists who studied this stuff at university level. |
Question: Extreme family problem involving my sister? Posted: 19 May 2015 08:16 AM PDT I'm 19 years old attending a university, seems pretty normal right? I have a sister ten years older than me, 29, who hasn't graduated yet and still lives with us. We live in a really small apartment and can't afford a house, which honestly isn't a problem for me. But my sister makes it a living hellhole. She complains to my parents about how they should feel "ashamed" for not being able to provide enough, yet here she is living in the one and only bedroom that this apartment room had. It was originally MINE, but she STOLE IT FROM ME. You know how? She goes to sleep at 2 or 3 in the morning and wakes up at 7, and the lack of sleep apparently doesn't faze her. She pisses me off because I always demand going to sleep at a much earlier time, and when I don't get the chance, I'm forced to sleep that late too. Then, hoping I get a good night's sleep, I get woken up with her opening the window blinds and having the sun hit my face. She tells me she does it on purpose just to get me to leave the room because she wants her "privacy". What can I do to get her to leave this house? What can my famiy do? We want her gone, but there's really nothing that can be done. Please help me! I feel so sleep-deprived because of her and it's affecting me both academically and socially, in an extremely bad way. Please, help! |

Question: How do you handle family members who always want (demand) but rarely do a thing in return? Posted: 19 May 2015 07:03 AM PDT My partners sibling is always demanding we do for them...I guess because... they and their partner are both on disability. Both young. Lung cancer...several bouts if it. They smoke the same. They will call or text and basically demand...we do something. (Nothing life or death.) Sometimes not 4 them.and late at night. They always say...call us if you need us to babysit or .... Well we did this weekend to celebrate special.occasion without kids. It has been several years for us to go on a "date"...the last one the sibling called and text thru our entire night out (movie)...(they knew) we couldn't turn phone off in case sitter called. Anyhow. ..they couldn't babysit cause had to go out themselves. It would have to be at our house - their dog bites unprovoked ...and smoke issues. We would have paid them. They don't do anything without $. We have even given them gas money to visit our "new" house...after several years. So after not babysit...they text me do something....they got the supplies...and offered a bit of $. Strange. Ok. Then later I get another text saying needs done asap as friend is waiting on it & package. (I guess $ is shipping.) My partner will stick up for their sibling .... its from the chemo. (Like when they said my partner needed a DNA test done on our baby...OMG!!! I am not sure if chemo does this. I've had bouts with serious health issues and not there for us. How to deal with family who is always demanding? Nicely it out saying no. F off. Lol. |
Question: Is it fair for me to be grounded? Posted: 19 May 2015 06:46 AM PDT My parents said that I'm grounded from going out with my friends for a month because my blood sugar got really high over the weekend. I'm diabetic, so it was really bad, and I was super sick, and my parents kept having to give me insulin injections. They think it's my fault that my blood sugar got so high, that I wasn't paying enough attention. They're partly right, but it was just a one time thing. There was a fair at school, so I ate a lot more sweets than normal, and then my friends and I went out and got froyos, which I don't usually do, and I kept forgetting to check my blood sugar or give myself my insulin shots. It doesn't usually happen, but it did this one time, and that was why my blood sugar got so high. I've had a miserable weekend, stuck at home, getting so many insulin shots (my parents didn't even try to be gentle about it) and feeling super sick, and I think that was enough to teach me my lesson, but my parents think I should also be grounded. Is this fair? |
Question: Why am I attracted to my own father? Posted: 19 May 2015 06:45 AM PDT My father has always been overprotective of me and as I get older it's getting to be too much. But I see how he and my mother have completely become distant from each other over the years. And she's already blamed me for her marriage problems because she says he pays more attention to me than her. But there's a little part of me that wants to take care of him sexually. My mother isn't a nurturing person when it comes to her family. I'm the one who does all the cooking for my dad and I'm the huggy and kissy type. But she just cares about money only. I even think she might be a lesbian because she's obsessed with reality TV shows and gets a little shifty when they do close ups on the women. I know it's weird to be attracted to your own father but I feel like sex between him and I would lessen the stress he feels from working so much. Am I disgusting or can you see where I'm coming from? If he can't get it from my mom, then aren't I the next best thing? |
Question: Does my mom hate me? Posted: 19 May 2015 06:39 AM PDT My mom has been trying to get her doctorate for a really long time now. But scince she started againg shes been yelling at me all the time, for little things. I am 12 and have an older sister. My sister never gets yelled at. Its just me. If my sister and I get in an arguement, I'm the one that gets in trouble. My mom has been trying to make me "not look like a homeless child" (quote from my mom) I've been doing that for over a month now, but she doesn't think so. Also, I have been wanting to go to the same school as my sister does for over a year (I am homeschooled) and she says "I can't go because of my behavior" but I have been trying to behave as well as I can for a really long time!!! She only says that when I get a little upset! Only serious answers please!!! |

Question: A month after I moved in he dumped me? Posted: 19 May 2015 05:58 AM PDT I moved in with my boyfriend a month ago. I needed a cheaper rent in order to pay off some debt so I was looking for another place. He asked me to move in with him. I offered to pay a full months rent to help him get back on his feet. Since he was 3 months behind in his rent. However,as soon as I moved in he stopped acting like my boyfriend. No communication, no sex, he doesnt want to go anywhere, I can't ask him questions and he doesn't ask me any. I told him since he doesn't seem to appreciate my extra effort that I would only be paying my fair share of the bills from now on. I said that hoping that things would get better but he decided to end our relationship. Now he tells me that he made a mistake and doesn't want to be in a relationship with me. I told him that he's stuck with me for a while because I don't have money to move out. I paid movers to move my stuff in his place and I'm paying for half of my stuff in storage. I'm buying all the groceries. Why would he let me move in and now, a month later, he's saying he made a mistake. I can't afford to move right now. How do I live with a man who doesn't like me? He claims it's all my fault because I don't dress the way he wants me and I don't get on my knees to give him oral sex. |

Question: Why can't I say anything to her son about him failing out of college? Posted: 19 May 2015 04:58 AM PDT My wife's 19 year old son, my step-son, failed out of college in his freshman year. My wife worked our tail off last year to get him into college because after he graduated high school we told him he only had several options. College, the military, or gainfully employed. Well, we got him into my alma mater and when he hit the campus he got into the party life and ended his first semester with several D's and a couple of F's. We talked to him and told him to turn it around for the 2nd semester. When we picked him up a few weeks ago for the summer he told he he got a few more D's. Last week we got a letter from the college thanking him for his time but they will not be offering him a position in the fall. Basically, "We wish you well in your future endeavors." I told my wife that he now needs to get a job and take over a bill in the house and I expected him to have a full time job by the end of the month. She told me I can't tell him when to get a job. She hasn't told anyone that he failed out, namely her family, his grandparents, nor does she want me to tell anyone. See, I'm a fan of public shaming so to speak. If enough people know you've failed at something and they all ask you about it it may push you to do better. Well, My daughter is going off this year for her first year in college and she has been accepted into 3 different colleges. She works a full time job and I told her to save her money this summer to help buy her stuff for college and to have some in the bank. My wife thinks it's unfair that I'm not asking her to pay a bill but I'm asking her son to do so. My thing is this. Had you been going back to school in Aug I wouldn't say a thing but since you failed out with ho future plans. Then you need to he held accountable for yourself. You're 19 and no plans at all. Am i wrong? |

Question: Why are my in -laws driving me crazy? Posted: 19 May 2015 03:05 AM PDT We just moved into a new house and the next day my parents in law and sister in law came to visit us. We just moved in and not unpack anything. That day my parents in law give us a broom to use to clean the house. My mother in law continues to ask how I clean my house also. Later my sister in law looks inside each kitchen cabinet and when I see her do this, she ask "where are your spoon/forks?" Couldn't she have ask me first before looking in my kitchen? My parents in law sleep on the floor when we provide them with a bed. Not just one visit but twice. We let them sleep on our old bed and then a new air mattress. Before we moved in, they said the first thing to get for our house is mattresses. Why would someone say that especially we have our bed already? It's like their house already!?! Then, my sister in law ask us during a birthday party if they can visit again during Memorial weekend. Is it rude to say no? She even said my daughter has a temper after she was crying very loud at the birthday. My daughter is 7 months and was hungry and I couldn't feed her right away because of the party going on. She has two kids of her own and she has comments like that. I can't stand them! Am I being ridiculous? |

Question: I am a boy and my brother kissed my abs? Posted: 19 May 2015 02:36 AM PDT I had a birthday yesterday, 17 year of age. I decided to celebrate it with my 12 year old brother and my friends by playing soccer together. But when I was resting in the corner and took off my shirt due to the hot air, my brother suddenly came and kissed my abs and hugged me, he said happy birthday bro, I love you. I was ashamed, what should I do? |
Question: Protective little sister ? Posted: 19 May 2015 02:35 AM PDT It's usually normal for good brothers to turn into powerful and restless creatures when their sister's hearts are broken by the guy she loves. |

Question: Is my mom wrong for doing this? Posted: 19 May 2015 01:50 AM PDT Sooo...I heard my mom and her on/off bf doing it in her room. Her room is like right next to mine so what in the world was she thinking? That's disgusting I don't want to hear that. And before you think I'm sensitive/immature not all households are the same. I grew up in a conservative household so this is really disturbing for me having it be the first time it's ever happened. I believe there's a time and place for everything..so is my mom wrong for doing that? |

Question: Is it right my parents keep all the good food for themselves? Posted: 19 May 2015 12:59 AM PDT When I say "good food" I'm not just being a typical teenager complaining that they don't get enough junk food, I'm meaning like they buy two things of everything : A brand of the product and the cheapest product they could buy. I don't mind eating cheaper foods because we haven't always had a lot of money so I understood that it was the best they could do. But now my dad has a very good paying job and me and my siblings still eat the crappy foods. If we eat something of theirs we get hell for it. From juice to teabags to pies everything is different for them. We have a good income now so I don't see why we still eat crappy food? Or more to the point why its only the kids. My younger siblings are still growing so need plenty vitamins and proteins and such but with the cheaper food they dont really get that. It might just be me,but i would bring up my kids doing what I could do to provide them with sufficient food, especially if I'm eating it. Its very demeaning and embarrassing if family come over because they question why our food looks different to our parents (when its the same meal). I dunno, am I wrong? I just think its a little strange and unnecessary. Am I just being a brat? Any advice would be appreciated :) |
Question: What should I do? Still living with parents.? Posted: 19 May 2015 12:52 AM PDT Im 28 years old and still living with my parents. I have just finished school for now and desperately looking for a better paying job. It's hard out there... Living at home has it's perks but my father is unbearable to live with. He always is telling that I am immature and I am incapable of living on my own. That I will end up a sad old lady stuck in my room. He still treats me like I'm 17, unable to make my own decisions in life. He gets mad that I hardly talk to him but I cant have a normal conversation with him without him being overly critical of me. I am about to breakdown and do the unthinkable please help.. |
