Posted: 13 May 2015 05:19 PM PDT So i was hanging out with my guy friend (Mike) and i accidentally hurt him while we were drunk. he immediately punched me in the arm as a reaction. It actually hurt pretty bad, and he apologized profusely, but I still don t trust him. That night, I told my other guy friend (Nick) about this, and he immediately found Mike s number from my phone, and texted him saying how he should never speak to me again, he was a terrible person for hitting me, and "if you ever contact Lindsey again I will personally come find you, and I mean it" Why was nick being so protective? Is that normal just cause he is a guy? I mean my friends who are girls comforted me and said not to speak to Mike again, but they certainly didn t threaten him or text him or anything. |

So as we went out of our booze I was going to my friend who is a graduate and he told me it was fine to get a bit of their booze. So when I had already poured it up one of his classmates started to pick on me for getting their booze. I said that ma friend said it was ok but he did not care. And later he showed up with some more of his friends and made me jump on one foot and some other stupid things. Now, I feel embarrassed and scared to go to school tomorrow because I think they will laugh at me. Wnat should I do? Help me please! Thanks |

You're not even that smart. I ignored it and just ate my lunch. Today we were doing this pe testing and im the worst at PE.. So I was doing push-ups and I'm really bad at them and then she was like omg you're so bad at them.. You can't even do any.. I have lived with others like this situation, but have never shared a room or been with people I don't know. I'm very friendly and respectful, but am shy at first. Especially since they all know each other and I have never met them. Just a bit worried about it because my past experience living away with people was negative and hurt my confidence a bit. My mom found and read a note that I hid (apperntly I didn't hide it well enough) it was a suiside note to her. Just to let you know I was mad that day I don't plan on committing suiside but on it it said I eat in the bathroom. When she showed me she read the note she was so upset I've never seen her cry that much. But she was mostly upset about the suiside thing even though I didn't mean it at all. I was concerned of the fact that I said that I ate in the bathroom every day. Now she keeps on offering to take me to lunch, but I actully don't mind eating in the bathroom and I don't want her to be on my back. She probably thinks I'm the biggest loser ever which I am, but I just want things to go back the way they were and let me eat in the bathroom without her worrying about me. I would love to go to lunch with her but every day till school is over is a little much, and I know she can't do it everyday. I don't want her to be thinking about me eating lunch on the toliet during my lunch period it guilts me so much! Plz help I've been trying to make friends for a few years now before all my friends moved away and now I have no one. I don't want her to conoletley stop but I just wish she would stop doing it as often. I'm the younger one so I have n authority over her and any time I explain to her that I think she should gone it down a but, she gets super pissed off at me and accuses me of being a hypocrite. I smoked weed a few times but I never really like it that much, i'm not against weed and I'm not an ignorant assholr that's going to say its super bad for you. When we started high school, she would start rumors about me, tell my secrets after I told her to keep it between us, calling me names in front of people to make me look bad. I really didn't have any friends in school because of her. After we graduated we had an off and on again friendship because of stuff like this. I finally had enough and told her it was over and moved on. She didn't like that too much. That was almost 4 years ago. Our moms know each other very well and plan our sleepovers without asking me first. I've told my mom to consult with me first but she just says "She's your friend and you don't want to make her sad, right?" My friend is really rude to me and invades my privacy, asks me if I'm "Gay" which insults me because I'm Bisexual. This friend also goes to church every Sunday at 7 am. I'm not religious, and have to listen to them ramble on about how Jesus is our savior and honestly I wake up at 6 am every morning for school, Weekends are my time to relax and do nothing lol. I can't ask my mom to cover for me or make up excuses or lies. I work hard in school and make A's and B's and just want to read or Skype friends at home during the weekend. This friend is also boring, she just uses her iPad the whole time and when I try and use my phone to text someone for a few minutes she says, "Can you get off that for once?" I go over to their house or they come to mine every weekend anyway, why is a sleepover needed? I feel uncomfortable sharing a bed with someone, I like my space. Anything I can say to my mother or friend to tell them that I don't want a sleepover every single weekend? Thanks. :) |

I talk to them on my way to work or at Starbucks. They always compliment me and shower me with affection/gifts. NOW......there are people both at work and outside who dislike me. (Even though I haven't done a single thing to them.) They are the silent haters. The type that gather in groups and talk about you behind your back. Sometimes they will say little things to try and get under your skin. They WANT you to get mad and lose control. I've learned that maintaining your control is a must. I know I should not be upset about this, but I am curious to know how do you guys handle haters? I know I am not the only one dealing with them. I actually overheard one of them saying that I am "dressing better than everyone else." and that "everyone gives him attention like he is God's gift to humanity." These people NEVER actually step up and talk to me face to face. They love hiding in the shadows and have fake smiles on. Even when I am around, they avoid me. It seems babyish, but sometimes it overwhelms me and I feel like crawling under a rock. |

My best friend is a guy (NOT boyfriend) and he's 15. We've been friends since elementary school and have grown up together. He's really my only best friend and I'm his also. We literally spend 95% of our weekends together. We'll hang out, go out to dinner and just always have a good time. We both don't have siblings so we've kind of taken those roles on. He really feels like my brother and is like family. We've been to each other's family events numerous times and have become integrated into the family. My mom and dad have even become really close with him and vise versa for me and his parents. I can't explain how much he means to me and I love him in a brother way. We don't want to date because as I said, we are like sister/brother. I would literally die for him and he has told me he would do the same for me. We are just so devoted to each other and always there. The other day I was having a tough day and he came by my house after texting that I had a crap day, and gave me my favorite candy. So as you can see he's the greatest friend in the world haha. Is it normal to be this close? It feels like we're dating but we arent and don't care to. That's why im wondering if this is unusual. Last year we were inseperable, always talking, texting, hanging out, sitting at lunch, laughing, smiling, fooling around like best friends. She would always text me "heard you won, congrats😘" just little things that made me feel special or i would text her "how did your game go?" But this year its changed completely.. Were still close, but the lack of communication, such as texting, she never texts me anymore. I always start it. Sometimes i dont even to see if she texts me and i get nothing. Honestly im so sad by it. Im so sad its different. We talk in school most of the time but its mostly me asking how are you or saying hi, she will, or even when ill text her a question instead of saying hey because i want to talk to her, shell say how was your day? But waits long times to answer. Yes were both busy with school and sports but it wasnt a problem before. Yes i habe talked to her about it and i said look i cant be friends with you anymore and she got sad but i said look let me explain and i told her i just miss it and i feel weve been distancing and she said i kinda see it..but she doesnt see it. Everyone gets along fine for the most part and we're all friends. However, there's this 13-year-old psychopath always whining and complaining, but he always tries to turn the tables and make it your fault when EVERYONE knows it's his. He causes lots of problems and instead of dealing with the person he is upset with directly, he posts on the forums and gets everyone involved and only spreads bad vibes! Everyone has tried to explain things to him and tell him to stop being so negative but he won't and he will attack you if your views differ from his. I have been very respectful to him but quite frankly he's a pu**y b**ch and constantly victimizes himself and spins everyone's words. Is there a way to deal with him or get him to stop? |

She will message me on social media about how she is feeling down, and feels like nobody likes her. I always try to help her out, and be a good friend. But its becoming so overwhelming that its stressing me out really bad. Shes always asking me for money, almost everyday. I work my *** off for my money that I do have. She has sent me fake photos of her wrist that was cut up. But when I look at her wrist, there is no scars what so ever. I try to give her advice, but when I do she just completely ignores it, and comes back to me about the same thing. She says that shes always arguing with her boyfriend and his family. I know that I should be a good friend and help her out, but its becoming so stressful that I don t know what to do. I don t want cut her off because she has come to me when shes been suicidal. Posted: 13 May 2015 02:34 PM PDT Ok so my parents r overprotective and my mom went though my phone and she saw tht i talk with boys (i hav never dated anyone) but they r just friends nothing more. I am 13 btw. idk y i aint allowed to talk to boys boys my mom wont tell me and she has taken my phone away idk til wen. i told her i dont talk to them which i dont most of the time so anyway tomorrow i hav a half day and tht is wen i am allowed to hang out with friends(i never invite boys over) so i showed her a test which i aced and while she was out wen i got home i cleaned to kitchen and did the dishes and cleaned my moms room and mine was already clean since i havnt been in it since this morning. so then i asked her she said no i kept saying plz but the answer was still no i asked her y she said no she said cuz she dont trust me tht she thought she knew me tht i disappionted her tht my friends r a bad influence they r not my parents just dont know them. i am the oldest out of 3 siblings and i am always so lonely and bored and depressed and i am moving at the begining of this summer so i wont even see my freiends anywhere outside skool if this continues and i cant deal with it anymore i will just kill myself (tht is just how i feel sometimes) so yeah i will just cancel my plans with my freinds for tomorrow but i need advice for the future cuz on the 30th (day after my Bday) PLZZZZZZZZZ ANSWER ALL ANSWERS APPRESIATED |

But there is a problem. She always calls herself fat and ugly, I always tell her she's not, but she keeps saying it. She really isn't fat she is a twig with hair. She doesn't harm herself or any of that, but I just don't know what to do about it. How can I teach someone or persuade someone to love themselves? |

You can't treat someone like **** and expect them to be there for you and be totally blind to your faults, I understand sometimes it takes two to cause issues but when it's mostly there fault they try and act innocent. She is the sweetest person I've ever met in my life. I've liked her for the past year and a half now. I told her a few months ago how I felt about her. But she didn't feel the same way. But our friendship is still really strong. We tell each other we love each other(as friends), I hang out with her and her girl friends, we are always there for each other, she puts a smile on my face when I'm upset, she always tells me that I'm a great friend, we have hugged a few times,etc. Our friendship is amazing. I really want her to be my girlfriend though. But should we just stay friends or do we deserve to be together? |

Me and Zoe were good friends but then Danni came into our friend group, I'm 100% sure Zoe has a HUGE crush on Danni because Danni has told me how Zoe had tried to kiss her, hook up with her, etc... Zoe always starts drama with me and tells Danni all these lies to break us up. She tells her I'm talking **** and how I'm crazy, a two faced whore, and a liar. She even told Danni that I would rather date my friend Amaya than her. That's a complete lie. It really bothers me how Danni is okay with Zoe's behavior. The other day I was talking to Danni about this and she totally agreed with me but then after school she goes to Zoe's house and they get matching tattoos. I'm totally okay with them being friends but I'm getting really concerned with Zoe's actions toward Danni. Zoe claims she's not trying to break us up but it really seems like she is. She's been telling my friend Raegan that I'm talking **** about her and Danni. Zoe keeps trying to turn all my friends against me. I'm really upset with how Danni gets mad at Raegan for "coming in between us" To be truthful Raegan is just a friend and may I mention she's straight. If anyone is coming in between us it's Zoe and I really wish Danni would stop being her friend. I would never tell Danni not to be friends with anyone but this is really concerning me, any advice? Posted: 13 May 2015 01:54 PM PDT I'm 15 and throughout most of my life I've never been popular, until I was about 11 I only had 1 or 2 friends although trying desperately to get people to like me. Once I started secondary school I started hanging around with quite a few different people and there are about 5 'groups' I associate with and talk to but I never feel I properly belong in any of them. Sometimes there's the odd person who for a week or so asks me to meet up or knocks for me to come out or invites me to things but they all get bored of me really quickly so if I ever want to do anything I ALWAYS have to organise it and try to get others to come which hardly ever works. Its not like I'm a quiet person or mean or anything and yes there are quite a few people that dislike me but I'm fine with that its just I'm never anyones first choice or cross anyones mind when it does come down to best friends. Its the same with boys I'm always just a friend never anything more and it bugs me always being second best. Not even second best,, like 23rd best. |

Once the summer vacation started we've had some distance. Which is nice because we saw each other every single day and had the same classes together. During the sememster the stress of school and our home lives caused some rough spots in our friendship. Some of our inside jokes got old. We had some misconceptions and misunderstandings. Does space help keep it fresh? If that makes sense. We start back hanging out again next week as we're going to see a movie. We have many things planned, and ideas to do when we hang out this summer. |

Posted: 13 May 2015 01:22 PM PDT -when my friend first met me she kept saying 'I'm so jealous' of different things like my handwriting and my clothes and when I told her I was spending time with my sister she said 'so jealous' -sometimes when I tell her about guys I've slept with she would roll her eyes quickly -when she asks about my sister and I tell her she rolls her eyes -sometiems she will treat me like an outsider in a group and talk to everyone except me -the other day she was talking to a bunch of 3 guys and then she saw me and looked me up and down and kept talking to the guys -sometiems on trips she will ignore me most of the day and then when I try to make conversation with her she answers with quick answers and then walks off -one time she said 'you're so lanky' in an agressive way in front of a group of me her and 3 other girls -she sometiems criticises what I say in our group and then says 'only joking love you really!' -she barely ever speaks to me now and when she does It feels like my presence annoys her -when I'm talking to one of the girls she will walk up to the girl and hug her for ages and then leave and pretends I don't exist -I feel very excluded in the group when she is around because she talks to everyone except me. -when we had to sit down in the group, she sat away from me so that there was a spare seat when there didn't have to be -sometimes before she leaves she will pinch me as a way of saying bye to me -she now ignores all my texts Whats her problem with me? |

Reason I ask is because nearly everywhere I go, someone is calling me *bud* or *buddy* and they never really respect me. Even at church when I wear nice clothes I don't get respect. Today, i had a doctors appointment about my stomach. My doctor asked me *have you ever worked*.... As if I hadn't worked before. That made me feel low. As a matter of fact i work full-time.
