She has been my best friend since the first grade (I'm in ninth grade now), but lately she's been teasing me about a guy friend I have been getting close to. I do not like-like him, and he doesn't like me either. But anyways, my best friend has been going around telling people that we're dating when we're NOT. She says things like "Oh their such a cute couple," and "I wonder when they'll get married." At first I thought this was funny, but now it's getting annoying, and people are always asking my guy friend and me if we are dating, and we always say no. I have told my best friend to stop, and told her I didn't like it, but she just tells me she's joking and that no one actually believes her. But the fact that people are asking me shows that they do believe it. Honestly, it's really getting on my nerves, and I want it to stop. I think it may be bothering him too, but he's to nice to complain about it. What should I do? Should I not be her friend anymore, because I have asked her to stop and she won't listen to me? So I have 2 friends for 18 years, they are my closes friends.And I feel like one of them is...sometimes acting unfriendly? I love her to death, but there are things I can't not notice. First of all she's very gossip.She spreads every rumor she hears about anyone,even bad ones. I hate this, I hate hearing them and feel like she'll gossip about me too. I feel like this is not her fault because her mom is just like that. But I see she enjoys it and I know for a fact that she's told her mom something I told her about my boyfriend and her mom talked with whole neighborhood. I said nothing about it just chose not to mention it and tell her less from my personal life. Another thing is that I can see she's kinda satisfied when I tell her about my problems. She always says "oh so bad, I'm sorry" etc but I've known her for a long time and I notice she's happy. She never wants me and my another friend (with whom I'm very close and she's my soulmate) have fun without her even though she can't be there or is having fun somewhere else. We once decided to go to a mountain village for 10 days while she was on vacation with her husband for 2 months having fun in other part of country. When she heard we went there she texted us: I hope snakes bite you there and you die. I don't know what to think. Sometimes I feel like it's just me but then she acts this way... I don't like a lot of people except for my very few real friends. All my other friends are fake and I use them until I graduate. I read up on the Internet that if you have no friends in high school, let them come to you. Is that true? I would say it is because something bad happened to me this year (my junior year). Let me explain what happened: So I know this one girl who is a senior and she has a bunch of freshman friends (both boys and girls) sitting at her lunch table. So because I knew the girl, I decided to sit at her table and I wanted to make friends with her table because I thought they would be my true friends. Since these are freshman, they were innocent in the beginning of the year, but they turned into idiots by November and they on purposely got me in trouble with the principal since they didn't want me there. Now I decided not to go up to people anymore in school. I just want them come to me. |

Just having transferred this year, I hadn't realized how much of a loner I am amongst my own grade. My boyfriend and other good friends are in the lower class, and I know but one girl my grade and she came a bit late. So I sat alone for a good portion and earned some weird and pitying stares. The girl I know, I followed around until all grades came together, and sometimes I feel as if I annoy her by staying with her a while, but I don't know anyone else in my grade. She's not going to be there next year and I can picture myself just being a big loner at graduation. I wish I knew why it's so difficult to make friends amongst my own grade, I hardly know a soul. I feel invisible. What should I do? |

We took some time apart and after a while, he started to be involved in my life again. I was being friendly but distant and during this time, he would touch me. Touch my knees, back, hair, arms, holding my hands, and was close to touching my boobs and butt. He even took pictures of me. There was a day when I showed my discomfort and he just said, " oh that's making you feel uncomfortable, let me do it again". I didn't see how telling him to stop would do the trick so I filled out a sexual harrassment form which got him in a lot of trouble. His parents were furious with him which made him furious with me. He would glare at me and most likely talk trash to his friends about me. It's been a while and we've been talking again. It's like we first started being friends again but yesterday he threw food at me and I didn't hesitate to throw it back (he had a friendly smile). Today he shoved past me and it was no accident. He is very big and tall so you can imagine how much strength he used on me. I was not knocked down, thank goodness. I felt so much anger that I just wanted to punch him. I turned around and shoved him into a crowd of people. (Oops). He has really made this year difficult. I've been trying to work this problem out with my words but that doesn't seem to work. I found out that he has autism. |

Last year when we first met it was one of the best friendships ive ever made. From the first day, we clicked. Every day after that was we were inseperable, always talking in school, she would come to my locker (she is literally right across from me), she would always text me "hey good luck at your game" or "heard you won! Congrats😘" hanging out all the time, laughing, smiling, making memories, being best friends.. I was so happy, not a care in the world.. This year has been much different. Ive learned to cope with it much better than more of the beginning of the year, but we still talk in the hallway like hey or "How are you?" But she doesnt come to my locker anymore she hangs out with all the guys in the morning, im in that group too and i say hey to everyone but i dont really stay there anymore, she never texts me anymore.. Its always me, it takes her a longer time to answer, when i give her the best advice i absolutely can give she says thank you😘 like of course ill do anything for you, ive talked to her about it bc i have felt things changed and we were distancing and she said i kinda see it and i said you should just text me sometimes hey how are ya? Still hasnt happened.. We hung out this weekend and it was awesome, lots of laughs, but then it goes back to us feeling like acquaintances..is there anything else i can do?? |

They are ignorant and mean and I was always real with them so they know I don't like them, but I am fake towards them, but just to cause less drama and they're fake to me too. Lately, they have been being real big jerks (more than usual) and have been telling my friends that I gossip about them and that I'm a bad person and they shouldn't talk to me. My 2 closest friends have stopped talking to me and are completely shutting me out. One of my friends who wasn't always the closest friend of mine but a good friend is being left out too. I don't want to be mean, but she is really boring to be the only girl to talk to and there are no other girls in my class besides the bullies so I'm kinda stuck. I'm in that hellhole of a school for 2 more years and I need a way or a method to control myself because I really want to slap them into reality. I love my family and my real friends so much so it's not like I hate my life. I hate school and those bitches. My mom keeps telling me that I'm awesome and it's their loss if they don't want anything to do with me. At home, I feel strong and confident but at school I feel plain useless. There's 14 more days of school so I think I can handle it and maybe by the time school starts again this "battle" will be over and we'll all be "friends" again. Recently we began messaging because of a project and she and I really hit it off and started sending each other super long, emoji filled messages that were all light hearted and full of jokes as well as details about ourselves... Anyways she messages me first many times, she also keeps the conversation going and chooses to message me late at night and replies fairly quickly so that the conversation keeps going. She apparently told a mutual friend (who used to have a crush on me) that she's talking to me on fb and that she wants to confirm that the two of us are just friends, my friend was like 'thats great, why are you telling me this?' and she said 'just to let you know.' She never keeps eye contact in real life and always looks away or at the ground when talking with me but is very expressive and active on fb. What is going on? |

Since then, she dated a guy for a year who made her super boring &insecure. They broke up last fall before she started beauty school. &now she calls me &complains the entire time. They had an in school competition today and she didn't even place. She called me and trash talked them the whole time. she admitted she feels low since she started school because now she isn't the best... Not the prettiest (which she never was..? We a young couple, both married and we both have daughters within one month of each other that are friends too! I left our hometown for a little while to live in CA where my husband is from. When I came back things were great for almost two years. Our friendship starting slipping when A) we got approved for a home loan and started the buying process (they have been denied twice for a loan) and B) I had a change in Spiritual beliefs. and C) I got pregnant with my second child and she suffered 2 miscarriages. Hwever I am the same me, always have been, respectful and want her to be so happy. On my son's first birthday she sent me a 6 page letter (that explained absolutely nothing) but ended with her telling me she was finally pregnant again and wants to cut ties. It had a ton of bible quotes and "I love yous" and she told me that she talked to Jesus and he told her that this was the right decision. She won't talk to me at all. So I have no idea why...and no one has ever hurt me like this...How do I move forward? She has been so integrated into my life since the 4th grade. |

Posted: 20 May 2015 03:19 PM PDT So I did a really immature stupid thing which was talk about someone behind their back thinking they wouldn't find out.. All I said was that they were being rude, but the point is I said something at all. she confronted me saying that I was talking sh*t, how she found out I don't know, but I owned up to it, accepted that she was angry and I apologized very sincerely and I meant my apology so very much. I feel horrible that I did this and she hasn't accepted my apology. I told her that I realize it'll take time to even begin to forgive me for something like this and I apologized more. I begged for forgiveness but she didn't forgive me. I realize my mistake and I regret it. I just don't want to lose her as a friend and I know I'm not a good friend for doing what I did. I didn't mean it to be sh*t talking but that's how she took it. I feel so guilty and even though she wasn't really a huge part of my life, I don't want to live with the feeling that someone who was once a friend hates me. I know it's selfish to think this way but I really really am sorry but she won't accept it. I don't know if I should leave things as they are or face her. And if I do face her what do I say? I think I said all that I can to better the situation. I just feel really horrible that I would do this to someone I considered a friend. We have french class together but we don't talk, we both sit in the front but on opposite sides of the room. I haven't gotten a chance to speak to her, but last Monday Madame let me wait by the door for the bell to ring, her seat is by the door, she wasn't talking to her friends, I saw my chance, I silently took a deep breath (I was very nervous, my heart was literally going at least 160 bpm) and said "Thamiris" (that's her name) and I made small talk with her, asked how she did on the quiz and how Mr. Perdy got hurt and it actually went very well. I didn't have a chance to talk to her Tuesday. But today I only had a few seconds to speak to her, she was coming up to get her quiz and I asked how she did on the other one, she said she got a 10/10 and I was honest and told her I got a 5/10. I have a 92 in there, that was a very unusual quiz grade for me. I'm furious at myself now because I didn't have a chance to speak to her before the bell and she probably thinks I'm a boring dork now, how do I fix this? Some funny things happened today, if I tell her about it tomorrow can that fix this? |

I want it to be small (no parties or formal gatherings -can't stand them) and I did want to hang out with my friends...but I'm not sure who to invite (I can't invite all 4 of my friends) I'm not sure if any of my friends can make it, and I have two I haven't invited yet (out of 4) because I'm not even sure if I should. A lot of time they think they those are their friend and when often talk privately like in social media without me notify and sometime I miss out their gathering. I hate the fact that she or he think those are their friend just because they meet them once. |

I don't understand why though. I have never smoked, I don't swear, I've never had sex, my skirt goes down to my knees... I generally thought I was a good person. The reasons one friend gave were that 'at sleepovers I disobey their parents' which is not true at all. I am very polite and I don't misbehave. At night we sometimes talk, except my friend is the loud one who wakes them up. However their parents then blame me and thinks hT my friend is perfect. And also take away my ipad. My other friend's mum doesn't like me because of a snapchat she saw. I took a picture of my friend and wrote 'she likes anal' and her mum saw it. My friend told me it was me who wrote that and she later said to her that I was a bad influence on her and that I've changed her. This is coming from a parent who's daughter swears and always makes sexually references. I don't know why all of my friends' parents hate me. Any advice? I feel rubbish about myself. Another reason one friend's mum and dad hates me was because I never invited her round to my house. But that's because of domestic violence and I was too scared. Why do their parent's hate me? I can't feel the same way around my friends. |

We aren't even best friends, more like just friends. We will call her willow. Willow's boyfriend's name will be George. Now I have liked George before and she knew. I have always liked him. So then later she started to like him about a year later. She told me she liked him 2 months ago. Now I have always found George attractive and cute, never denied it. I supported them being together because I wanted to be there for her. He said he liked her too. So then he asked her to formal. But George and I have grown close over the past year. So I really really like him. I was sitting next to him today and we were talking and I swear I wanted to kiss him so bad. I had to hold myself back. But ofcourse I'd never do that to Willow. They have been dating for a week and a half now. But we aren't close anymore and we don't have a lot in common. Willow is super fit and I'm a little chubby, but I'm going on a diet next week (no, it's not for George, it's for me) I like him so much. And I'm pretty sure I have a chance with him. I don't know what to do! And to make things worse, we all live in the same neighborhood, but I'm moving in August to a different neighborhood, I'm going to miss George so much! We all were fighting, crying, screaming, offending, etc. we also chose sides and stuff. I was texting her telling her to back off, and she told me that I was just like my dad, that I would become him. Because it's inevitable. My dad is abusive, he hits my mom, my brother and I and is constantly verbally abusing is as well. At this point I was done with her, I was so angry I didn't even realize what it was that I had sent to her. I told her to kill herself. Immediately after what I realized what I had done I told her that I didn't mean it. I've been feeling guilty all day. I apologized to her and we made up or whatever but I feel so guilty. I mean she had no right to say that but I had no right to say that either. It was immature and cruel. And I have never in my life told someone that. I was so angry. I didn't even realize I had said and sent that. What do I do? I apologized, but I feel so guilty! I'm not a bad person either. I don't bully people, I don't hurt people. Even once I've traveled the whole country just to watch one of my friends having a date, and of course the money I've spent for traveling was mine... But when I just ask them to understand me if I don't go to the mall with them after 5 hours of a huge math test plus one more hour waiting alone at school for a bus at night.... Anyways she messages me first many times, she also keeps the conversation going and chooses to message me late at night and replied fairly quickly so that the conversation keeps going. She apparently told a mutual friend (who used to have a crush on me) that she's talking to me on fb and that she wants to confirm that we're just friends my friend was like 'thats great, why are you telling me this?' and she said 'just to tell you know.' She never keeps eye contact in real life and always looks away or at the ground when talking with me but is very expressive and active on fb. What is going on?? |

But even then, he still said he doesn't wanna be friends with a person who doesn't wanna be friends with him. He also told me there were a few more reasons to why he doesn't want to be my friends I expected an apology from him too, because when 2 people get in a fight they have got to apologize both right? Well yea he said he doesn't feel like he has to apologize cause he thought he didn't do anything wrong. Despite that, I tried to work it out but he stopped talking to me. My problem is that this is an unresolved conflict and I need him to talk to me because I need to figure out what I did wrong. I literally have dreams about this guy and us not talking.
