He was the one who broke up with me and in the beginning I tried talking with him to get back together and it didn't work so I just gave up and have just been doing my best to move on, althought it hurts. Every since the break up my ex's mom would come pick our son up and would start crying saying how one of us need to talk with the other. Another thing she would do is always talk about my ex around me to illicit a response and I did not. I do not dislike her as a person, but I feel as if she wants me to go beg her son back when he was the one who was the destructive one and dumper in the relationship. Well today I was on facebook and seen that I had a message and I opened my inbox and basically she messaging me saying how she really likes my default pic. Now keep in mind she is not a facebook friend or anything. I just find it odd that she'd go and find me on facebook, lol. Another thing that she did about 2 months ago is bring my EX by the apt to exchange our son, when it really was not necessary since she was going to be watching him. What would you make of this behavior? Also just wanted to add that I've noticed a change in behavior in my ex. When we used to exchange our son he basically would not even acknowledge my existence. Now he starts to try to start conversation with me. |

One of the side effects of his medicine was hearing loss. He wears hearing aids. He can hear you if you're having a conversation. But if someone were to call his name from across the room, he can't hear. He watches TV with subtitles. He speaks very quietly and sometimes people myself included can't hear him. He gets embarrassed about his hearing and even though I've told him that I don't mind him asking me to repeat myself if he can't hear me, he still doesn't like to do it. If he's not home and I'm watching TV, I turn the subtitles off. And sometimes he still apologizes for them on. He likes to joke that the reason he married me is because I'm so loud. He tells me not to look if he's cleaning his hearing aids. When I first met him, I didn't even notice his hearing aids. It's not something that makes him so different from anyone else. I understand him not willing to be fully himself and wanting to downplay it in public but I'm his wife so it hurts me that he feels like he has to hide himself from me. Is there something I can do to help him or should I just accept it and not take it personally? |

But he has been married before and he has a 5 year old daughter he has custody of. She's sweet. I'm currently pregnant with my first child and I'm very excited. But its just challenging all the time when all everyone wants to do is talk about his ex wife. I understand that they do have a daughter and I can't change that. Its just every time we have a get together with his parents she's all they talk about. But they hate her guts because of what she's done. I've heard the same stories about her for a year and they will not quit telling me ALL THE TIME! Am I wrong for not wanting to talk about her all the time? We talk about how excited my stepdaughter is to be a big sister I enjoy that. But then someone always says oh she's going to be jealous when the baby gets here and I try to steer the convo to something else like what are you going to play when she's here or what are you going to teach her, you know? But they constantly ask her arent you going to be jealous the babies going to take all the attention and shes getting to where she's not excited anymore. I've also noticed him over apologizing to me for things there is no need for a 9 year old to apologize for. I had a text conversation with her yesterday about my concerns, but I didn't state that he said she did it. I expressed my concern about his self esteem and told her he said some people called him annoying. She mentioned that he likes to blurt things out. Today, he was talking to her on the phone and he had her on speakerphone. She asked him a question and he kept saying yep over and over again. I heard her say he was annoying. His behavior isn't right. Its perfectly acceptable to call out the behavior and coach him on improving it. That is very different from calling a child annoying. She had an affair and filed for a divorce but then put it on hold and spent a year telling me I couldn't do anything right and that I was inadequate at everything before she finally divorced me. I didn't realize how badly my self esteem had been impacted by this until much later. I'm not sure how to handle this with my ex wife while protecting my son. Suggestions? |

We love him and we had medical insurance from my husbands job but when he got time off to be with me during his birth the work place took away his insurance tempary until he went to back to work so we ended up with the WHOLE medical bill. short story we lost our home had to move back in with my own mother and my husband went and found a full time night job at wally world aka Walmart. we got charity to pay off the actual hospital bill but we have 2 to 3,000 left to pay we cant claim bankruptcy and we cant afford an attorney so for awhile we stopped paying them so we can fix our car hahaha cause it broke. now im trying to pay our bills but everyone went to debt collectors. My mother came up with an idea and said if I let my husband go to college full time all I have to do is help keep the house tidy work full time at night and watch my son during the day. and visit my husband on my days off I may stay at her house for 4 yrs while he's at school. the problem is I want to be near him but us doing a long distance relationship for 4 yrs with a child!? idk its a good idea but should I? any advice would be great thanks! also I cannot work my mother works fulltime at home and will not watch my son at home I asked her if I could get a full time job at night but I would had to borrow her car she has forbidden me from that. I have tried enough to set things right and I figure out that he is impotent in a while and I had been kep in dark about all this before the wedding . I got married in a Hindu tradition , I have not signed into any papers from very begining or at any point to register the wedding . I would like to know if I need to apply for divorce in the courts since I have not registered this marriage . I have no plans at the moment to carry on with other life as I have no kids and would be interested to set my life right if I find a suitable guy as I'm not old enough as my frnds and parents suggest . What would be the right cource for me to take to stop him interfering just in case I move on legally . Pls advice on the basis of Indian law . I would be greatful for the advice . Thanks |

I will not allow our children to continue living in this negative and potentially dangerous environment. I have been a stay at home mom for 3 years and my husband just lost his job due to his addiction, therefore, I am in a very bad place financially. My parents live 3 hours away and we plan on moving in with them, however, I can not afford to pay someone to move us. My father is disabled and is not able to help with heavy pieces. Does anyone know of any type of assistance out there for someone in my situation? |

Posted: 16 May 2015 12:32 PM PDT Ok, I had been married for almost 7 years in NC. 2 years ago my 'husband' told me he was really getting a job in another far state and he told me to go abroad with my family while he was moving to the 'new life'. Well the time passed I had to return because I cannot be outside the country for more than 6 months due to my permanent residency. Well when I return I found out he moved back to live with his family, (in which place I could not live because his parents hate me). So I had to find my ways of living looking for a room to rent and started worked in some projects to make a living. Well since then he has been comfortably living with his parents and it seems he doesn't look for looking to a place or making a plan to live together, also the time has passed and my feelings for him are down since it pissed me off he prefered his parents than returning to figure out a married life with me. I have told him to get me a divorce and just sign the papers and he refuses. He still believes I need to be back with him. Well the thing I am hating today is this year is almost 3years since we moved out the house where we lived and I asked him to make a favor so I can stay for some days at where he is at with his family and he told me his parents doesnot want me there. It absolute pisses me off, because in my culture the men doesnot leave the wives as the way he is leaving and he could defend me and look for his wife and ignore them. Sometimes i hit her back but usually i dont because that just fuels the fire. Ive tried telling the police numerous times but they didnt seem to understand the notion of a woman beating a man.
