Lots of people think I'm beautiful but I'm very introverted (Some reasons: Emotionally abused since childhood/other personal reasons) and usually it has to be the other person to initiate the conversation with an open ended question for me to feel a little comfortable. I laugh a lot when I'm nervous but I've naturally got this bubbly personality. I can also be goofy and outgoing when I'm close enough to someone. Anyway, I used to help this lady and she treated me like some dumb valley girl. And because of that, I was never comfortable talking to her or helping out. I honestly hated being around her. Anyway, some people who I actually talk to get to see this different side of me. They see I'm very intelligent and call me very mature for my age. Yet I feel so immature. I keep doubting myself. I want to have the confidence to be myself, I really do but...... how could that be possible at this point? I know I'm smart, but I don't. Its just like I know I'm a beautiful girl but I don't. My boyfriend of almost 6 years spoke these word and i really think the things he said along with those words is what really has me confused. He told me that he is not in love and havent been for a while but he loves me and dont want to let me go. He said at this time he doesnt want to be in a relationship but he wants a future with me and wants us to have a family. Until I came into the picture his ex controlled practically everything my bf did, especially when it came to their son. She very much blames me for the changes my bf has made in their relationship, but my bf continues to let his ex take up so much space in his mind. I put some examples in the details below. I see all of the things she is doing & I think he does too, but he says no matter what he does "she's still his mother, she controls 50% of my son." He doesn't want to call her out on her bad behavior, but calls me literally crying when she has pulled some new nonsense. When I try to talk about it with him he says "don't start that again" & the conversation is over. He is willing to stand up to me or tell me when he thinks I am wrong, but he continues to let her control so many things... it feels like she is the 3rd person in our relationship. Consequently, my bf feels guilty for his ex's behavior & gives into his son a lot. The child sleeps in bed with my bf most nights, even though I have spent nearly $500 to decorate his room so he would sleep there... making me feel like my bf has no intentions to make room for me in his life or his bed. Any advice, or should I cut my losses and move on? -Bf had a doctor's appointment so I offered to stay home with the child. The VERY FIRST thing he said was "She would NEVER let me do that! If she finds out then she'll say she can leave him with just anybody too!" Apparently I'm "just anybody." -She won't pick up the child, even if she is on her way home. She insists my bf take the child to her house- abt 4 miles away. She even claimed her car was broken down & COULDN'T come get the child, but he saw her driving it an hour later. |

When I met him I was at my lowest. He brought me up but from the beginning told me he didn't want to rush into a serious relationship. His reason his first love broke up with him adding that she aborted his kid with his grandfather's money but his grandfather didn't know what was it being used for. He later forgave her and they became best friends while she loved someone else. Before I ever came in the picture. In the beginning I knew about her breaking his heart but not about the extra info. He said they were friends before and wanted to keep that friendship. I agreed but figured I could show him that I was worth it. I cooked ,cleaned, everything asked but I was goofy and playful with him. I was very affectionate and fell for him. He always told me to stop being myself in public. He would tell me everyother day. To enjoy the moment because we may not be together tomorrow. That hes still not sure he wants a serious relationship. I was 19 then. 2 yrs past and nothing changed. he never said I love you and I caught him trying to meet with a girl at a bar he met online. From there I was not important when I was happy with him and spoiled me and cared about me when I'm ready to leave him. I finally left him and moved to Texas after 5yrs of that.Then I had a son.Through a donor. He apologized for how he treated me and promised to prove he loved me and moved to Texas. Posted: 31 May 2015 11:57 AM PDT So my family just bought a nice pool and everyone was really excited but I am not as excited because I'll have to wear a bathing suit. Both of my sisters usually wear bikinis and last summer I did too... But I gained close to 30 pounds since last summer and it all went to my hips, thighs, and lower belly. I am really not looking forward to wear a bathing suit in front of my family and my siblings friends that they might invite over to swim this summer. I am supposed to go swimsuit shopping with my sisters and I know they'll make fun of me if I don't get a bikini and if I do wear one I'll probably have to go up like 3 sizes cause my bikini from last does not fit at all and my sisters are both for and skinny so it's gonna be really awkward trying bathing suits in and stuff... What should I do? Cause no matter what my family is gonna judge me. I already got crap from my Mom for having to go up 3 sizes when I went shorts shopping a while back... That was just terrible.... |

Recently they have been getting into arguments about everything, half the time it's when I am at work so I come home and they are both locked in their rooms. My boyfriend feels taken advantage of because my brother is not well off and hasn't been up on his payments. So it's understandable that my boyfriend is mad... Well, my brother has been ignoring me now when I get home because he is mad at my boyfriend. He tells me they will never be friends again and this is troubling to me. I am so close with my brother and of course with my boyfriend, we have been talking about marriage. Everything is falling apart now, I love them both and most of all, I loved that they were best friends before all this. How fun would it be to have such a great dynamic between the 3 of us being great friends, not just family someday going through the motions? What can I do? I want them to be friends again or at least be on good terms. I want to keep my brother as a big part of my life but neither of them want to be around the other. Am I doomed? | Question: Someone explain what happened to my body.? Posted: 31 May 2015 09:10 AM PDT I was at my graduation ceremony yesterday. To give you a little more info, in the last week I was kicked out on my 18th birthday, I started serving at my job, and I'm still trying to get through a really bad break up after my significant other left without saying a word to me. I was waiting for the ceremony to begin in a big crowded hall when I saw my ex walk through the door with the rest of the graduates. He doesn't attend our school, so I didn't know why he was there. Anyways, I turned, went to the ladies room and as soon as I was in the stall my legs gave out, I fell on the ground and I started crying really hard. I got pins and needles in my hands and at first it didn't bother me but then my hands froze and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't move them. I got the same sensation in my lips and then I couldn't feel my face and my eyes burned but I could feel them darting around in my head and thats when my teacher came in and she kind of held me. My body was totally limp except for my legs that were kind of spazzing out and I couldn't stop crying. It was really scary. I don't have any kind of medical history aside from a kidney infection I had once. |

And I really do try not to cry, and just when I think I've calmed myself he just goes on and on and on to attack. I've researched narcissists and I'm almost convinced that he is one. Like today is his birthday so I really tried makin it a fun weekend but he declined everything I wana do for him . He didn't want a cake or anything, didn't wana go out, nothing. However he was really drunk and showed me a side of him I've never seen. He was pretty much being very flirty towards me and touching me the whole time we were talking. My boyfriend told me that during that whole time his friends were telling him to step in and do something but he didn't. When we left the party he got really angry and broke up with me. The thing is I NEVER flirted back. I even acted very uncomfortable because I never saw this side of my friend. I even talked about my boyfriend a bit to him. I didn't want to be a ***** and tell him to stop so I kind of ignored all his flirts and didn't flirt back. I can see why my boyfriend is upset because the whole time I was talking to my friend my whole back was turned towards him making him feel ignored. He also felt embarrassed by his friends from this. | Question: If he's married, why is he kissing me on the cheek? Posted: 30 May 2015 08:56 PM PDT So I have this new supervisor at my job and he's very attractive (I have a major crush on him). After doing some stalking I found out that he's married and his three kids. He has never mentioned to me that he is married or has children so he has no idea that I know. Whenever he emails me about work related stuff he always ends it with "I look forward to seeing you" and it's never anything about work. Every time he sees me he gives me these really long drawn out hugs. Yesterday for the first time, he came up to me, grabbed me, hugged me and then proceeded to kiss me on the cheek (it wasn't like one of those quick side to side peck on the cheeks it was like a long hard kiss). Now I'm really weirded out. Afterwards he offered to buy me some sweets and bring them back to me at work and I felt awkward so I said that I would just go with him to buy them. When we went to go get him food (where they also have the sweets I wanted), he refused to let me pay for my sweets, and said "I've got her" to the cashier, and even when I said it was okay he was persistent in paying. We then sat and ate for an hour and didn't talk at all about work, we talked only about personal stuff (he talked to me about his children, upbringing etc). I have no idea what to do because I can't interpret what his motive is. I personally don't think its cool for a married man to hug and kiss other younger attractive women so I'm just trying to figure out what his deal is. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also some people tell me that maybe he's "just a really nice guy" and that his hugging and kissing is a way of greeting people, but he only does it to me. And, he doesn't need to do any of the things he's doing to me (hugging/kissing/buying me sweets), none of those actions are part of his job description so that's what is so weird to me. Everything he's doing, he's choosing to do. |

And I think I know what that might be: BM has full medical rights and has spent the last year or so taking son to doctors constantly having him poked and prodded, painful ivs, testing, all that just because hes short. Trying to say "oh poor me look at what I have to go through" yeah right...anyways what I think she has planned is to schedule a dr appointment the day of the wedding (which is during the week). And all that testing takes like 2-3 hours. If she tries to pull this, is there anything we can do? Can fiance call dr and let him knoe son wont be there? What can we do in that scenario? |
