Long story short, one of mine and my brothers childhood friend beat me up with his 2 older brothers due to my religion and the fact they were bullying me because I'm the younger guy but I stood up for myself. Basically if anyone stands up to these bums they will get mad. We are not buddies anymore and it's all legal actions from here because we have survallace footage but another childhood buddy still stays contact with this back stabber even though he saw them beating on me. We were all friends at one point but after they jumped me and called me a effen Muslim it's all over now, friendship wise. Mind you I am 21 and the brothers are 24, 31 and 32 and my brother is also 24. Our other buddy was present during the jumping. My question is, do any of you think I should stop being buddies with him? I mean the next day I texted him saying will you be a witness for the police and he replied "I'm not really trying to pick a side." My brother and I keep our circle small, so if we call it off with this buddy it'll just be me and my bro, which is not a issue. |

Well, Jack doesn't live with his family anymore. For the most part it's just me, Kay, and Nikki in our little circle. I mean, Jack hangs with us sometimes, but not as often. Anyways, Kay got with this really controlling guy and Kay turned into the biggest ***** ever, and so in the circle, it was just me and Nikki for over a year. Well, then Kay and her man broke up, so she's back in our circle. (Not that we made her leave or anything). Well, I thought I would like having her back, but it's been months now and she's taken my spot in everything. Like my spot on the bed, and my spot in the car and everything. Now I get made fun of for everything. Like doing school activities. (They both dropped out). They talk more amongst themselves, and when we all hang out, every time I go to say something, they interrupt me somehow, or just not listen at all. Now they're starting to exclude me from everything. They don't ask me to hang out or anything. They go, just them two. Like, when We went to see a movie in theaters, it was going to be us 3 and Jack and Jack texted me and said that Nikki didn't want me to go, but then she denied saying it when I asked, but I believe Jack over her though. At the start of the year we had the same homeroom, i was her first friend because she had just moved to the school. She is a pretty close friend now. Basically we have the same friends, one big group. She found another friend, which is now her bff. She talks to me about all the problems with her and says they are inseparable (in a bff kind of way) so when she talks about this it makes me feel bad, i know she can have more than one bff but im more like her side buddy, at least thats how i feel. What hurt me alot was today she asked me if i could go to eat on friday but i was the last person she asked and she wasnt planning on telling me in the first place.this is what she told me "can you go to primo burger next friday? I was only planning to invite six people, (ill give fake names), Sam, Jake, Darien, Arlene, Alejandro, and Juan." Then she said "but Juan invited three others". Me, and two other girls. So my friend said "Esme, Jimmy, and you" honestly i felt hurt because she wasnt going to invite me if Juan didn't. They all have friends and have no problem getting up in front of the class. For me it's just so difficult to even talk to a teacher one on one. I guess we have competition against each other because whenever I do something she ALWAYS does it better. She gets leading roles in plays, she is head of the cheer leading team, she is always picked for everything, and she always Aces all the tests. I am starting to doubt that "no one is perfect" quote. I feel always one upped. I always think to myself "well there has to be something that she isn't all that good at", but honestly I am stuck on that part.... After a few weeks she commented on my Instagram post 'do you like me as a best friend' I didn't exactly want to say no, so I said yes. From then on she started texting me a lot. I realised she doesn't really have many friends, or have many that she keeps. After a while, she started to copy me. At first I just brushed it off as copying is the highest form of flattery but it started to get worse. She copied my hair style and colour, she copied my 'job' on Facebook, she copies how I text, how I talk and how I dress. Once I bought myself a new outfit and loved it, after seeing my new style she immediately text me to ask me where I got my jeans from and even sent me a screenshot to check they were the right ones! Something that annoys me the most is that I have anxiety issues, she doesn't actually know about them much, but if I ever bring them up, she says 'oh I'll have that when I do my exam' or 'oh I'll have that soon' and it frustrates me because anxiety is something I deal with daily, she doesn't want to bring that on herself, but of course she has to be just like me. Posted: 14 May 2015 02:29 PM PDT In class today (my last class of the day) I sit next to a guy that I talk to and a friend of mine that I've known for a long time now, but have only been friends with her for maybe 1 or 2 years. It's a technology class and everyday we have to work on the assignment our teacher gave us, but all year she has been really bugging me. I mean, she's still considered a friend through it all, but she always takes jokes too far. It's like every 10 seconds she's always like "Your stupid" or "It's all you fault" and there are many other insults to add on to the 43 ft long list. Instead of chairs we sit on yoga balls and she's always leaning up against me and putting her feet on me and pushing me off. Don't get me wrong, I know that she does all of this because she's joking and trying to be funny but it's WAY too much. So today, after she was calling me stupid and saying she was better than me, in a jokingly tone I told her that I should just move to another spot in the classroom, and then she was all like "If you want to, ok then" and tried to act all cool about it. When thinking about it and sitting there, she knew that I was hesitant and then said "that's what I thought, you would never leave because you love me so much" and then I grabbed my binder and put it on another desk. I had to go back to my old computer 3 minutes later to import my files onto my new computer, and all offended that I left she was like "gosh, why are you so sensitive? I thought you said that you were tough..." So, I didn't say anything we she called me sensitive, and then the guy I always talked to started helping me import files and tried to convince me to stay. I'm confused about all of this, did I do the right thing? Or should I just ignore her when she insults me and just move back? |

She wants to do a lot of things by herself now such as dressing herself, bathing herself, you know all the big kid stuff. But I thought she was just wanting to do all that because it made her feel grown up, until I caught her playing with herself multiple times every time I babysat her. I couldn't really tell her that it was wrong because what little kid isn't curious? But the fact that she knew what she was doing made me scared to tell anyone. I asked her where she learned that from and she wouldn't tell me directly. She just kept saying I don't know. And then the worst part was when she was telling me all the harsh names of her body parts. Someone had to show her that stuff and no 6 year old should be saying stuff like that. It wasn't too much, just $10; I was nice about it and let my friend borrow it. My friend said that they would pay me back in a few weeks, at the front of the month, when they got more money. I forgot about it until I needed to buy something a few days after the first of the month. I asked for it and they said they'd give it to me the next day. The next day they never gave it to me, so I figured they'd forgotten to give it to me. A week later I still did not get it. So yesterday I asked about it, and they said they don't have it until next month. So now I'm stuck waiting on the money until next month. I'm trying not to be a b***** about it, but seriously. They told me they would pay me back. I feel like they did not plan on paying me back in the first place. Guess the moral of this lesson is to not lend out money? I was trying to be nice and now I need to buy stuff and don't have the money. |

Posted: 14 May 2015 01:12 PM PDT So, about 3 years ago, I was (supposedly) in love with my best friend, but eventually got over it, I was 14/15 at the time, and back then she wasn't my best friend, just a "casual friend" in my Art class. We are of the opposite sex. Since then I have explored my own sexuality and found myself to be attracted to both genders and she has remained heterosexual and is currently dating her boyfriend of 2 years. We are both of age (18) right now, and at the time I was supposedly in love with her, she knew. A mutual friend of ours slipped it out by accident. Last night, we were talking on Snapchat, sending stupid pictures, and she sent a harmless picture with a tiny bit of cleavage, which I shrugged off and sent my own satirical photo back to her, but from this point on she began to reveal more and more of her chest, to the point where the pictures became provocative, which I stupidly accepted, but did not reciprocate in the same way and reminded her several times she was in a relationship which she ignored. I'm pretty certain she has done this purely to tease me, but she knows that there is no chance I will ever be fully homosexual, and I can't imagine anyone doing this without there being a specific something behind it? Could it just of been an act of rebellion? What can I do if she has done this? Do I confront her about it and how do I go about it? I have spoken to her today as we do normally and she is acting as if everything is normal. |

Posted: 14 May 2015 01:10 PM PDT We've been friends for over a year (since I came in my new school) and now it seems to me that we are drifting apart; It somehow makes me feel moody and depressed but a part of me could care less. When we started getting close, her best friend at the time told me she was exited to be in college to get away from her because all she ever did was copy and steal her style. She told me all those things about my best friend; she told me that she was so judgmental of people, that she was so self-centered and that is what everyone told me but I still wanted to be her friend bc she seemed like a nice person. Now that I have been friends with her for so long, the past few months made me realise how bad of a person she is. I use to laugh at her jokes about people and thought it was innocent but after hearing all the insults she throws around for a year, I have realised that she is not a kind person. She only thinks of herself. She thinks that she is better than everybody else. I barely talk to her atm due to exams. She thinks all the guys like her. She uses them to get her way. She literally forces herself upon people and you have no choice but to talk to her. It's always her way. She is only friends w/ ppl who won't outshine her. At the moment she is using this girl who gives her stuff but behind her back she insults her. Posted: 14 May 2015 01:04 PM PDT I have a best friend (actually 2 sisters, one is closer to my age) who has been in my life for over 20 years. First we lived in the same city, of course, but then life moved us all around, and she would visit me, and I would visit her. Then it was time for my parents to get sick, and I moved very very far away to be part of their lives at the end. First, watch my Dad with Cancer and then die after two years, and then 3 months after my Dad died, my Mom got sick and needed full time care for two years, then, during this time, I watched my 13 year old dog get Cancer and die, and managed to find a boyfriend that was using me for money, but just ddn't have the energy to be done with him yet because I love him. Point is, during all of this trauma, they never came out to see my in the past 5 years during all of this tragedy. The one who really had the opp to come out started a new job and had no vacay. When she finally had some vacay, she decided to get a plane ticket to see her much more fun friends. I am very hurt that she did not want to come see me as soon as she had some time. They know how hurt I am, and they are actually mad at me for being hurt. My question is, knowing that I am all alone in this world, and have had all this tragedy with no one to lean on or talk to for moral support, would you fly out to see your best friend (me) in those circumstances, even for just a few days, just to make sure she (I) is(am) okay? Am I wrong to have wanted them to come to me? |

| Question: Was this a good thing that happened last night? Posted: 14 May 2015 12:57 PM PDT Me and my friend became best friends durong the semester. We had 4 classes together and hung out alot. After a while we started feeling suficated and she started to distance herself and got tired of me because of it. We had a 3 hour discussion on this. Our friendship and connection was resurrected. I took everything she said very positively. We still consider each other good and close friends. We talked about spacing activities we usually do out and not talking to each other all the time. That way we always have something to look forward to and having distance to enjoy ourselves. We believe this will be good and better for us. In her words, our connection was reborn into a healthier light. Could this be resurection or like we are starting over? The friendship just instant as intense and serious as it was but it's still there. We share things in common and have fun together and are good having each other in our lives. I also think with this reconciling and what not, i believe our friendship can grow again. This time in a more natural pace. A more natural wat. It ell innto place naturally but after we started seeing each other all the time and what not we were forced to grow it, space got lesser and lesser for us to grow. I believe now with the space and everything it can have a natural pace snd morr space for us to grow closer again. What do you guys think of my thoughts here? |

Luckily, we were lucky to catch it before anything bad could happen. During that time, i was also heavily bullied on the internet. My friend started to ignore me and treat me like i was inferior. She would be cold to me and then be nice to me the next day. when going through my own issues, she offered no support. She knew what i was going through, but all she would do is talk about herself. This girl, by the way is a youtuber,. She would make herself seem better than me I asked her MANY times if her and i were okay and if she wanted to say anything to me, she could, but she ignored me and just looked at her phone. . Anyways, a couple months went by and i was crying every single night. I ended up deciding that i hated her, but when that got around, she came up to me and was like " What did i do to you?" And i told her that she made me feel worthless by her ignorance. She said she didnt want to hurt me so she acted cold, but i told her that she played these stupid mind games with me and it ended up hurting me more and she said that she still didnt do anything wrong. Now im done with her, but i dont know how to act with her anymore, shes in my class, i have to see her, but now all i want to do is give her the cold shoulder the way she did. |

We've got in fights in class, during school and quite a few after school even one on the weekend! Last fight he knocked me out after school as my head hit the pavement when he gave me a shot at my temple. So he's at the hospital and my friend and he looks like hell. I really didn't know what to say to him but he asked me in very short amount of breath "hi, how you doing" I said "ok, better then you." I was in a bad mood as I hate this guy then said "how does it feel knowing your going to die?" Before you call me names please understand I really don't hate him but I could care less if he makes it out of chemotherapy or not. Is it wrong wanting someone to die? I told my mom this and she said that wasn't very Christian of me to do that. |
