He recently accepted a job offer in Chicago and moved last week, while I remain in Georgia to finish school. I had practically been living with him for the past two months and now that he is gone... I am wary. He had gone out to bars all night last weekend and gotten pretty drunk, which I did not like at all. He told me he was going to go out for a couple hours to have a few drinks but he ended up being out until 3 am, after leaving his apartment around 10-ish. We also have not been talking nearly as much as we used to. We might exchange texts in the mornings and then talk on the phone at night before bed but that is it. He says the reason why is because he doesn't want to think about his problems throughout the day (so I asked him if I was one of his problems, which made him mad) and that me crying about his lack of communication is manipulation. We fought last night and every single phone call ends in me crying. I just feel so distant from him, and hurt that he doesn't seem to care about how I feel, just about what is convenient for him. He ignores me all day (we have iMessage so he will read the message and not reply until the end of the day when he calls) and I cannot believe that he can care about me and not want anything to do with me unless he does't have anything else to do. My guy friend told me I should dump him. I don't know what to do... Please help.. |

I went back to blaming him and our relationship to justify my heartache. By the end of the argument he had told me he was done with the relationship. He hasn't asked me to move out but I told him I would. And now we have reached a point where he is willing to consider whether or not his decision is what he really wants. He knows I'm sorry and that I take responsibility for my actions and I vented all of my heartache in an unhealthy fashion, on to him. So my question is, how do I get him back? How do I give him space when we live together? How do I prove that he can trust that I won't lash out like that again? Is this savable? I'd really like opinions and advice from both genders and I can handle brutal honesty. Thank you. |

I'm pretty sure this means he is interested because he just started doing it. He also added me on snapchat but hasn't snapped me at all. There is a problem tat is keeping me from just messaging him. He is good friends with my ex but my ex secretly hates him. I don't see why it would matter because my ex has a new girlfriend but I don't want to get the signs wrong. Posted: 14 May 2015 06:50 PM PDT I broke up with my boyfriend after he strung me along saying he wanted space but would come back saying he missed me and bringing up private jokes. I soon got tired of him draining me and then telling me 'he still didn't know whether he wanted a relationship...' So I called it quits yesterday. Tonight I get a text saying "my name" I said yes? He said are you alright? I said yeah he said then why did you delete me off snapchat? I said I think it's for the best &he said why? I said because i dont want things to drag on. He said cant we be civil? I said deleting you off snapchat doesn't mean we cant be and tbh I dont know if I'm ready for that. He just said alright.. Now, I'm wonder why the hell he's asking this when he knows I love him to death &he hurt me so much stringing me along like that. All he said was "I understand" when I ended it. So where is this coming from? I won't lie, I do want him back but I can't take his sense of entitlement. I waited almost only to hear "I don't know" from the person I love&now he wants to be 'civil' !? Why?? |

Sure, I think he's hotter than my boyfriend, but I love my boyfriend, not him. That sounds bad to say but I'd never say it to him. Sometimes I find myself talking about his brother a lot and he'll tell me to shut up about him (not in those words, but basically). I feel really bad about that because sometimes he gets really upset. Recently I haven't said much about him. He's never accused me of liking him or anything before this. Today I went to his house and we hung out and then his brother came in. My stomach dropped. He just sat down and started talking to him, and then he started talking to me and I was so nervous. I talked but my voice was shaky and I kept pushing my hair back behind my ear. My boyfriend gave me a weird look, and then when his brother left, he said, "Were you nervous or something?" and I said no and he was like, "So why did you keep stuttering..?" and I said, "I always do.." and he said, "No you dont..." and I just looked down and he was like, "Oh, I forgot..he's the glorious Nick ______...Isn't it weird that he makes you nervous? Shouldn't I make you nervous?" and I said "stop.." and he gave me this whole speech about how HE'S my boyfriend, NOT his brother..and then brought up how I talk about him a lot. He asked if he wasn't good enough for me and he just kept going on and I told him I loved him and said sorry like 5 times, but he was like, "Are you sure you dont love him?" and at this point I was getting upset so I just left. I called him; he didnt answer. Texted him asking to talk, to which he replied, "Wrong brother." He texted me, "If you can explain to me why you're so nervous around him and why you talk about him all the time, I'll consider forgiving you." What am I supposed to do? Say "because he's hot."? It seems like it started when I was 12 or 13. Because then I'd go to the store by myself. Like I'd walk down the street and buy some snacks. I was home-schooled in Junior High so during the daytime I'd be at the store buying things. And then people would stare at me. But now, I'm 21 in community college and mature and people still stare at me, why?! Like is there something weird about the car I drive? Or the way I walk? Not like I dress strange. I just wear tan shorts, t shirt, long black socks and usually black converse or vans. I drive a 2015 Kia Rio, so it's not like it's some weird car. I just don't get it! No matter where I go! He and I live in different states we've talked on the phone a few times. We have sent sexy pictures to each other and he has asked me to get a hotel and come several times. We've had arguments and he has blocked me on Facebook three times. He has me blocked right now and he has also blocked my numbers so I am on his restricted list. I can still contact him through texting though. The thing is he wants to have sex with me he said that's all he wants he said it seem like the kind of woman that uses her sexuality to communicate. But It's not true I want to actually have a friendship with him. I will be in his state in a couple of weeks and I would like to meet him. I told him I just want to be friends and he accepted that but continued to flirt and try it with me...still does. Anyway most of that happened by text. In reality I am a shy person so I don't talk to people I don't know well as much as I talk to my friends. We've only communicated a few times and only for a short while each time. We had an exam recently and before the exam his friend was waiting near the exam room & me and his friend got talking about the exam and we shared a few jokes and laughs etc...but it was nothing flirty. In the exam hall the guy who likes me smiled at me and I smiled back then he goes off with his friend (same one I spoke to) after everyone left the exam hall. Later on he texts me and says "you didn't talk to me" and I said that b/c we were in an exam and then he said "you could've spoke after the exam" and he asked me how the exam was then I replied and asked how it was for him and no reply. Today I texted him and said "Hi, how's you?"...no reply. I can see that he read it (it's on whatsapp). He's always cheerful when texting me , this time it was different. Is he mad at me? And why could that be? And how do I fix it, I don't want him to be mad at me. |
