Posted: 14 May 2015 08:11 PM PDT I love my wife very much, however for years she has always had a negative outlook towards me, I treat herike a queen and lover her very much but she always says negative and hurtful things when she doesn't get what she wants. We have 3 beautiful kids together I however, am fed up with all the negative that she outputs towards me and I am starting to gain a hatred towards her I know it sounds crazy cause I just put that I love her very much but this needs to stop and I'm thinking of possibly filing for divorce to make her happy. |

Question: I don't think my husband likes me very much? Posted: 14 May 2015 05:59 PM PDT My husband and I are in our early 30s and have been married three years. Before marriage, we made a great couple, but after marriage, things got volatile. We frequently have arguments now and sometimes get physical. Once he even put a hot clothing iron on my upper arm when we were arguing while he was preparing for work, and it's left a burn mark on my arm. He said he was attempting to put the iron on the sleeve of my shirt and putting it on my arm and burning me was an accident; he felt very guilty and bad and was very apologetic. Now he's doing smaller more passive aggressive things. Recently, he was cleaning the bathroom and I had my favorite necklace sitting on the bathroom counter. When I came home, I noticed it was gone and I asked him where it was, and he told me that it was very dirty and had gotten a lot of grime on it, and he'd been unable to clean it so he had to throw it away. I was a bit upset and told him he should have let me decide whether or not to throw it away. Later I noticed the necklace chain sticking out of the bathroom trash, and I pulled it out and my necklace was clean. There was NO dirt or grime, he just threw it out! I was upset with him for lying to me and he couldn't even come up with an excuse about why he did it. I believe he threw it out just because he knew how much I liked it. He's lying about a lot of little things now...I don't know what to do. I love him and I just want us to get back to where we were. Any suggestions? |
Question: What are the benefits for men to get marriage? Posted: 14 May 2015 05:41 PM PDT I remember my mom told me one day when we were arguing that there a lot of benefits for men to get married.. I asked could you please name some, she just kept talking over me and then told me to shut up, I don't want to talk about it no more instead. Can someone please give me some of the benefits that men get from a marriage that they cannot get from just being in a relationship? |
Question: My husband said horrible things about my family. :( How can we make this better? Posted: 14 May 2015 05:37 PM PDT I am extremely upset about the things my husband said about my family. The things he said were very hurtful and I m unsure how to get past this. I feel like I just can t let this go... I can t just be mad and be over and done with it. It s more... I don t know how to forgive him for what he s said. How can I make this right? |

Posted: 14 May 2015 05:00 PM PDT My kids are still with him. It's been over a year and a half, we are still not legally divorced. I am the 'other woman' to a married man - I'm in so much pain I don't know if I want to cry or just die. I have not planned anything past the end of June. Was just planning on taking a trip...one last beautiful trip, and finally letting go in paradise. |
Question: Should I leave my husband? Posted: 14 May 2015 04:55 PM PDT We have been married for a year. We fight more than most couples. But are very passionate love makers. I found out yesterday that he cheated on me with a man. He denies it, but this other man had called him asking to "chill". My husband said, ok but I am w. m wife and then he replied, " Wife?! But we hooked up." M husband continues to deny everythint but cheating has come up in the past I just moved past it. I dedicated my life to him. I dont want to waste it on a manipulative liar anymore. |

Question: Can you have a marriage without children? Posted: 14 May 2015 04:37 PM PDT Are there women willing to marry men who don't want children? No I don't want to adopt children either. By the way, if you are a single teenager who is not married but looking to entertain yourself; don't answer and get lost. I plan to get vasectomy so I never have kids. That way, I'll never have to worry about child support payments. This goes to UmmulQulum...I don't have children you single female teenager idiot. I don't want children you dumb@ss. |

Posted: 14 May 2015 03:36 PM PDT My parents have always told me "marry someone with money and a good education" but like Im not a gold digger, I believe that love is love like I marry someone because of what I feel towards them not because of what they have. It just doesn't make sense to me. I dont care if who I marry is poor as ****, then we will be poor together with love. What do you guys think? Are my parents right? |
Question: Will my my husband ever change? Posted: 14 May 2015 03:33 PM PDT My husband has physically hurt me before by suffocating me with a blanket, grabbing me hard by my wrist, pulling me by my hair and dragging me on the floor, twisting my body or other parts of my body in uncomfortable ways. He hasn't physically hurt me again for 4 to 5 months now. But yesterday I was asked him to get up and get me water because I wasn't feeling well. He said okay, he just sat there. So I decided to play around with him by poking him and pushing him, then he grabs me really hard twisting my fingers. He told me not do that again! I reacted got upset with him and pushed him off the bed. He said he didn't want to get water for me anymore, so I got up and got it myself. After asking him several times to get it. I got the cold water and slpashed it at him and told him he was a worthless piece of ****. He said if I wanted the water that bad I could of gotten myself, but it wasn't about that, I wanted to see if he will make the effort to get it for me, he just sat there taking his sweet time. Oh I'm also pregnant. |

Question: Can someone help me decide what to do? Posted: 14 May 2015 02:30 PM PDT So I left my husband some days ago and took our son. He seems very calm and quiet and this isnt really him so Im afraid he might be up to something. I know his mother is telling him what to do to get his son back but I really do not want to argue with my husband and I dont want to fight. I dont mind him seeing his son im just worried that he might take my son from me during visitation. I typed in divorce courts into google and they are forcing me to get a lawyer which I dont want. I just want to have some form of protection. can someone tell me what to do? What should I search into google besides divorce court to find out how to go about this? I dont want any restraining order against him because he hasnt really done anything such as stalking etc...so what to do? Sorry for posting this again. I mistakenly delete the other question. Thanks |

We were going through a bit of a rough patch when she accepted the invitation and is adamant that i stay home. If it was a close friend i wouldnt be so suspicious but, being someone she hardly knows and both being bisexual, i cant help but get a bad feeling. Am i wrong about this situation or does it seem suspicious? |
Question: Marriage scam or not???? Posted: 14 May 2015 01:58 PM PDT Tell me f you think the woman I was going to marry, treated me very badly according to the following experience I had and whether this was going to be a marriage scam or not???? She lives in Morocco and I live in England. 1) She threw a cake out of the kitchen window claiming it was squashed which I had brought her when I visited her house to ask for her hand for marriage 2) She made me spend about £1,100 on materialistic things before the marriage 3) I never stayed at her house while we were going through the marriage process of arranging the documents to and from the court translation offices etc, I stayed alone in a hotel. 4) I never got introduced to any of her extended family members including , no uncles, aunties, cousins, friends, neighbours, grand parents, and one of her elder brothers and sisters because she claims these 2 were in different parts of the country at the time. 5) I only got introduced to her parents, 1 older brother, 1 older sister, 2 younger sisters and 1 younger brother but not to any of her extended family, firends, work colleagues, neighbours as mentioned 5) I got asked to send her £300.00 claiming her nephew was sick. |

Posted: 14 May 2015 12:31 PM PDT I was looking to apply for a media designer position for a company in my hometown that sells sex therapy-related stuff, whatever it is, and it also requires that I would be assisting with photoshoots. I was thinking if I get accepted, not only will I be doing the design and production-related stuff but also, I would be asked to do photoshoots with male models, if it's an option, who happen to look like gigolos or so since I live in an area that isn't diverse. Chances are, the male models will look all the same as well as boring. Would it be inappropriate for me to apply for a job like this while I'm still legally married but separated from my husband? I cheated on my husband before but he became irrational, violent, and controlling after my family told him since they married me off to him. @planner-I'm estranged from my husband. Chances are, the company hires male porn stars. There are gigolos in my hometown. |
Question: Will a guy ever leave his wife in an arranged marriage to be with u? Posted: 14 May 2015 12:27 PM PDT I know he had a crush on me before his marriage. But he lied to me about his wedding and now I find out. He has only been married a year and doesn't even live with his wife yet. They live in different countries and I don't even think they have had sex yet |
Posted: 14 May 2015 12:07 PM PDT I've been married for only 2 years now and my husband is the most amazing person I have ever met. He's smart, hard working, honest and all that. We have a great relationship except when it comes to our sex life. We often argue about the frequency and everything that comes with it. I'm usually the one who complains because he thinks once a week is enough. The worse thing about it is that I sort of knew before we got married and decided to take him like that, I never thought it would become such an issue but it is now. He knows how I feel and always promises to change but nothing really happens.. We automatically go back to the same thing. At first I felt so unappreciated sexually that I gained some weight which made things even worse. So now I'm back on the horse started dieting and exercising a lot and have lost a lot of weight I gained but things still didn't change. This whole situation messed with my head and I had so self steem that it depressed me. So one day - Actually a few months ago- I decided to test my sex appeal and see if I could hook up with someone just to see if I was still attractive, and I worked. I had a couple of affairs and other men validated what I knew since before I got married. The whole thing isn't about me or my weight or anything. My husband is just selfish in the bedroom. We don't have kids and we don't own anything together, which could make it a super clean break. But then again is this a good enough reason to give it all up? |

Question: I feel like my wife doesn't desire me sexually. How can I change that? Posted: 14 May 2015 11:37 AM PDT I have a fantastic relationship with my wife.I love her a lot. The biggest thing that bothers me about our marriage is the intamacy. I love having sex with my wife. I think she's absolutely gorgeous and sexy. I really enjoy the sex, but I don't feel like she enjoys it as much. I know women typically don't have as strong of a sex drive as men. We have had about three kids and I know that tires her. I don't mind being the main initiator, but the problem is I'm the only initiator. She never initiates the sex. Even when I do initiate it she often tells me no. When she does say yes I often feel she's doing it just to make me happy. It hurts my feelings a lot that I don't feel like she wants me sexually. I want her to initiate the sex sometimes, and not just because I want her to, but because she wants it. I want to come home from work one day with her wanting me so bad that she rips off my clothes and dominates me in bed. I want to see she really wants me sexually, but right now I don't feel that and it makes me feel bad. I'm still in really good shape and take care of myself. How can I get my wife to want to want to have sex with me? I'm 37 and she's 29. We've been married 10 years. |
Question: Am I doing the right thing? Could he be lying or telling the truth? Posted: 14 May 2015 11:29 AM PDT Me and my friends caught up with a friend from high school and we started talking and he introduced his wife to us. Later that night we ended up going to a lounge, we danced had a great time I noticed his wife kept pushing me to dance with her husband who is the friend I caught up with, she kept insisted him and I danced so we danced almost all night and she sat at the bar drinking after a couple of drinks she started giving me dirty looks, I didn't understand because we were all in a group having a great time. He later asked me for my phone number and I said no because I didn't want to disrespect his wife, I saw him yesterday as I was paying a ticket and he happens to be an officer he now has my information and has not stopped texting me, I explained that we can be friends with his wife knowing that he had my information, he has explained to me that him and his wife are not doing well and are in the brink of a divorce he later tells me she left to California for the entire weekend so he was alone and did not stop calling me and insisting on seeing me, I didn't see him that weekend I did see him bypassing with a few friends, he was insisting on wanting to see me, again explaining that him and his wife are going to bad times, he talks negative of her and I noticed on her Facebook she's written negative things about their relationship, I don't know if I should believe what he is saying to me, he's a very nice guy and I do like him but I explained unless the relationship has been dissolved him and I cannot talk. |

Question: What do you feel about the future of this relationship? Posted: 14 May 2015 10:53 AM PDT I will give all of the details that I know. The man was married before and has two children; one in college and one in high school. The woman was married once maybe twice before and has two children one in grad school and the other in middle school. They have been together about a year. Shortly after they began dating the woman bought a house next to his. He cheated on her in November with someone he had a previous relationship with, but the woman does not know that he cheated. He then proposed at Christmas and they are planning to wed. He has continued to cheat on her with the other woman. When his fiance is working late or just whenever he can get away he calls the other woman. They have moved in together. He used to show some remorse at cheating but now he just wants to make sure that no one finds out not. He has told the other woman that when he gets married he will have to be "more faithful." What do you feel is the likelihood that the marriage will happen or that it will last and will he be faithful after he marries. I should say that he works with the other woman and will see her often. |

Question: I feel like I love my baby much more than my husband does? Posted: 14 May 2015 10:35 AM PDT Our baby is 2 weeks old, and it seems like to my husband that the "new" has worn off, and I am still obsessed. I could stare at her all day, I just want to soak in every minute with her that I can and he isn't like that. Is this a normal feeling? What do I say to him? I know that he loves her and he is great with her, but i just want to be able to tell that he is just as obsessed as me and that family comes first. |

Posted: 14 May 2015 10:32 AM PDT He is very nice, but loses his temper soooooo quickly. And yells at me. He never apologizes and makes excuses for why he got so over the top mad. He is a great guy, but acts like his craycray mother when he feels insulted. By the way, I know that asking him to slow down while he is driving is just fine to do. But it sometimes he will slam on the gas when I do that. We have a child, so it is a bad example. I forgot my question! What can I do to get him to see how damaging this behavior is? I don't really criticize. I have had enough relationships to know what is criticism and what is a request for different behavior. Once I said, "awe the toast is burned and we don't have any more bread." No tone in my voice at all. He lost his temper and stormed out to buy more bread. Thanks for all the feedback! I am a bit of a smarty pants and you all have me thinking that I need to communicate better! No more "poorly stated requests"! I just asked my husband what he thinks of his mom and her sisters yelling at store clerks and waitstaff. He just laughed and they are crazy. So, just a learned behavior. At least he doesn't yell at strangers, just me! haha |
Question: How do you know when your wife is cheating? Posted: 14 May 2015 10:25 AM PDT |
Posted: 14 May 2015 10:09 AM PDT I got married when I was 19 (something I do not regret BTW for those who will say I was too young), had my twin daughters when I was 21, and had my biological son at 22. Nine years latter we adopted a boy my son's exact age. I've had four beautiful kids, and they're all very close together in age. My boys are about to leave the house very, very soon. I'm starting to feel the empty nest syndrome. I'm only 40 years old but I'm getting close to having all my kids out of the house. I'm going to miss having my kids at home. I also feel kind of bad because my husband doesn't feel the same way. He's excited for our boys to move out so it's just me and him again. I can talk to him about it, but he doesn't understand because he's not feeling the same thing. I loved being a mom so much, and I know I'll still be a mom forever, but it won't be the same as when they were at home. I love my husband so much and in some ways it will be better without kids, but if I had it my way I would have one or two kids in the house all the time. Part of me is regretting not having more kids. How can I get over the empty nest syndrome and just be happy it's just my husband and me? I want another kid, but my husband doesn't. He says he just wants it to be me and him now. |
Question: . I need some personal advice? Posted: 14 May 2015 10:01 AM PDT I am the manager of a doctors office and recently became pregnant. I am married. I am thinking of using the OBGYN in my office for my doctor. the doctor is male doctor. I am curious to the opinions of others. Should I use him as my doctor? Taking into consideration that there will tests that require him to go into my vagina. This has caused some debate between my husband and I. What are your opinions? My options are using his as my doctor fully, using him as my doctor but seeing another doctor in the group at another location for anything that requires me to disrobe, or finding another doctor all together. |
Posted: 14 May 2015 09:55 AM PDT I've heard wives loose interest in sex after a few years of marriage and don't really care about it anymore. They usually just keep having it to either have more kids or keep their husbands happy. Is this true? If so why is that? If not why does the stereotype exist? |
Question: Sister's Husband Paralyzed From the Neck down due to an accident by a friend.? Posted: 14 May 2015 09:41 AM PDT So my sister's husband was paralyzed from the neck down in a car accident caused by her husbands best friend. Lately he has been getting so needy to the point where just to get my sisters attention he will interrupt the only time she has to rest just to have her change the channel and he does it almost a good every 5-10 minutes. (She is the only one at the moment to take care of him, as their nurses they do have are currently out on leave for the next two months and the nursing company doesn't have any other nurses that work with someone on a permanent life vent.)We think he is becoming needy for attention because he doesn't have any other way to talk and see people and he hates getting into his chair and going outside because he doesn't want people to stare at him so by his own choice he won't leave the bed. He gets into bad moods where he will blame my sister for the condition he is in and he even will push their 6 year old son away which is now causing their son to lash out in violent outbursts(He is autistic and his father was always his most important figure in his life.) He has gotten to the point where he doesn't want mommy he just wants daddy and he hits anyone who tries to interact with him. My sister is tired, and we are trying to find ways that we might possibly be able to stop her husbands outbursts and moods, the blaming and the attention seeking while also trying to find ways that might help in getting him to stop pushing his son away. Sister's Husband Paralyzed From the Neck down due to an accident by a friend. I recently sought advice for this however I did not realize due to my non frequent use of Yahoo answers that i put it in the wrong category. "marriage and divorce" that was not where i wanted to put it i wanted to put it in family. So my question got reported and i can't respond to it. So i did rewrite it in the correct category at this link. https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20150514105851AAigorL |

Question: Friend going through difficult time? Posted: 14 May 2015 08:06 AM PDT Ok so my husband and I have a friend who is going through a very hard time. He's best friend with my husband and I feel terrible for what's happening to him. I'll call him Tim. Tim has been married for 14 years. He and his wife have 2 kids and up until now, me and my husband thought tims marriage was solid. He has a great job, a nice house, and the kids are great. His wife has filed for divorce. Not once did she hint that she wanted a divorce or that she's not in love with Tim. He has always treated her good, helped with starting up her business. Although she never wore her wedding band, he was always seen with his. She also requested that the kids stay with him and she only have visitation with the kids. He has a work office at the house and she doesn't want to be in the house anymore. He also lost his dad last year. So he's been going through a lot lately and the divorce isn't really helping him. He seems like he's just going through the motions and hasn't really processed everything. My husband feels awful for what's happening to Tim and wants to help him but he's at a loss of words. I'm not sure what to say to Tim either. We have him and the kids over for dinners hoping to ease it for him. But I also think seeing me and my husband together is also hurting him. He's a great guy, and I'd really like some advice as to what to say to him. Please help. My only thought is that she's having an affair but I have no proof. What do you think? |

Question: Why are people so against teenage marriage? Posted: 14 May 2015 07:44 AM PDT I'm engaged at 18 so what?? We've dated for 3 years. I'm old enough to make my own decisions. My brother got engaged at 18 and they've been married for 6 years. My grandparents got engaged at 15 and they have been married for 56 years. A few decades ago it was normal to get engaged young. So why is it so wrong now? |
