She walked past me and flashed me a small smile so I said hi and asked her about her day. For some reason her friend smiled at her and she poked her friend in the back when I approached them. She was smiling and seemed a bit awkward when I was talking to her and she avoided my eye contact a few times. I was walking behind them and when we talked she didn't really look at me a lot but I can see her smiling though. Anyway, I thought she didn't enjoy talking to me so I just smiled and said bye to her after a while. I turned around and walked towards my car and I saw her (through the reflection on the car window) kept turning her head around and looking at me. Her friends didn't do that though. After about 10 months of working on myself, meeting a couple girls, and not speaking to her, I felt like I was finally over her. Wasn't sure about being friends yet but her birthday came around and I figured it wouldn't kill me to send her a birthday text. She responds by asking me to hang out alone to watch the sunset together and like an idiot, I went. Very shortly into it, it was clear I wasn't over her and it was awkward but we stayed for about 4 hours. When she drove me back, she pointed out the awkwardness and that she knew I wasn't yet over her. We kinda talked about it and then said bye. It's been a few months now and since that night, she has began texting me here and there asking to hang out and stuff. I've been ignoring and ignoring until yesterday she sent me another one. I ignored it but then she said "look I just want to see you once before you leave". (I am leaving for college in a few weeks). I was gone so I just said "sorry, out of town this week" and she never replied. But knowing her, she'll text me here in the next few days. I don't know if I should just hang out with her since I'm leaving anyways or to just keep saying no. |

Fast forward to the beginning of high school and we start becoming the best of friends. Posted: 18 May 2015 07:27 PM PDT I go to a small local gym that you need membership and a card to get in, but it's open 24/7. From the start a couple month is ago I've been going every weekend, and elsewhere during the week. I've noticed that this guy comes right at the time I do, not every weekend at first, but lately I'll be there for an hour and its at different times.. Sometimes 7,8, or 9, and he will come a half hour or so later... We are both aware of each other because sometimes it's only us and one or 2 other people. Our eyes usually meet right when he comes in. And he never leaves before me and sometimes im there for hours. Yesterday he came when I had 20 minutes left on the treadmill and he went diagonally behind me, a few machines away. Immediately when I stopped and turned around to get off, he did at the exact same time but a second later, and walked to the other end as I did... I then left.. He parks by my car too, and like backs in. The thing is, he is at least 10 years older than me. Granted I look older than my age of 20, maybe 25, but there are some years between us. What do you think? Am I imagining it all? Probably.. |

All my friends have already gotten laid and I still haven't had a girlfriend yet. I get really worked up about it and get depressed at times. At my age it's the only thing I can think about and look forward to. The problem is that it's probably too late for me cause most girls my age or younger have already lost their virginity and It makes me feel left out and I'm about to lose it. In the first period, she will say hi when she walks in and stuff but then does really talk to me (no one does the teacher is strict). The 2nd i sit next to her and we always talk. We will even whisper while people are testing. She will point things out to me and such. She also laughs a lot and calls me stuff like "stupid." In the last she sometimes say Hi when she comes by me and if I'm running past her or something. If she sees me in passing period she will say "Hi (name)" and stuff like that. No plain "hey". Also she will ask me to pick her books up, but I think she asks other guys. Thanks and please answer honestly. |

Posted: 18 May 2015 07:21 PM PDT I'm 21 and have Asperger's and I met this girl at work in a hotel but I saw her in normal clothes so I thougt she was a guest and then I found out she was going to work with the girl I went out with, so we are friends because I went on a date with a coworker of her's when she started here and they become friends It was just one date because It didn't feel right with her and we hung out the for us with anoter of her friends and she was jelaous, so I waited a few months and I told her how I feel and she started to show interest in me but then she started to back off, talk to me and back off again but she does get jealous if she sees me talking to another girl and she always glances at me, she is leaving the country in 5 months and It hurts me that she is going to remember me for going out with her friend and she is so pretty and outgoing that she intimidates me because of my Asperger's but everytime I try to talk to her she goes away or won't text back she only texted me one time but she still glances at me and smiles at me and tries to touch me so I don't know what to do. |
