Posted: 02 May 2015 08:45 PM PDT (I only found this out because my grandma is my teacher) so this girl in my class, she never really had friends, only one person. But last fall her parents split up her mom took the girl ad her sister but her dad took her brother. I notice she comes to school In the same clothes almost every day and she doesn't brush her hair. She is a very artistic girl and in class she draws a sad girl and shade her in with her pencil. At home though, she draws girls cutting, hanging, killing ect. Themselves. I want to be there for her but her hygiene issues really got me. it seems like she just crawls out of bed every morning and walks to school. Also she wears all black, all the time. She only talks if she has too or if she's talking to her sister or her friend. Sometimes I can get a good conversation out of her like at pottery or something but I wanna know, Is she depressed? Please help I want to be there for this girl |

Question: How do I apologize to my husband? Posted: 02 May 2015 08:23 PM PDT My husband just had the blow ups of all blow ups a few minutes ago. I'm 44 and he's 4. He's currently working on a master's degree and he has 2 papers due tomorrow. He's been working on the large one all day. When he's doing classwork I'm bored and have nothing to do. He tells me that I need to be in charge of my own entertainment and get out of the house and find a hobby. I'd rather be with him. Well, my best friend's boyfriend's cousin ordered the PPV fight tonight and she invited us to come over. He didn't want to go cause he's not really into boxing. After arguing with him about it he stopped working on his paper and took me. We drove some 30 miles to farm country to this house only to find out the the fight wasn't until several hours later. We knew then we'd not be able to stay the whole time. Plus he had to go pick up his daughter from work some almost 50 miles in the other direction. Well, we saw one of the under card fights then we had to go but when we got the the hostess offered us drinks. I got a glass of wine and he got water cause he was driving. He told me not to drink too much cause he was going to go back home to finish his paper and he wanted me to go pick up his daughter. Well, on the way home his daughter called to say she was ready. He exits of at our house to drop me off to get my car and I tell him that we should just go on and get her now since we're already in his car. He went ballistic. He reminds me that he told me I was going to go get her and I said the we're already in the car so why did he need to drop me off. He starts speeding and running red lights cause he was fuming. At one point we're sitting at the intersection and he's so mad until he throws the car into park and gets out standing in front of the truck just pacing back and forth while all the other cars were watching him. He gets back into the truck and runs every red light to take me home. On the way he's calling me everything but a child of God saying how he's tired of me always having him do things that keep him away from his studies and how I have no drive or ambition and he's tired of living paycheck to paycheck and what he's doing he's doing for us but apparently I don't want any better cause I'd much rather be out having fun. he then says that he's smarter than me and will always be smarter then me and that I needed to get a life and smarten up quick. Yes, I know I was wrong but he didn't have to yell at me the way he did. He took 6 hours away from classwork only to blow up at me. How do I apologize to him? I meant to say he's 45, excuse me. |

Question: Can controlling and abusive men change? Posted: 02 May 2015 05:54 PM PDT I was that woman that use to comment on other women who experienced domestic (Emotional or physical( abuse from their partners, I always said I would never let anyone treat me like that and wow how the tables have turned. It's been a gradual thing over two years, what started as just an act of lost control from my partner has resulted in repeat instances of 'arguments', might happen once/twice a week might happen more or less, it's hard to predict. He's grown up in a violent environment and sadly so have I, having a very controlling dad, and been told I have issues and attract men like my father. The beginning of our relationship was based on trust issues because we are in a long distance relationships and I had caught him lying to me about being committed to me. I have found numerous chats with him and other girls (on Facebook) flirting asking for their number while we were exclusive and supposed to be committed. He has cheated on me, lied being my back spoken to so many other girls and I left him for a few months, until he managed to convince me he was a better man and he would change for me. Since then it has been a nightmare regaining my trust for him and I have been extremely paranoid because of our past. I have doubted him and still do because he has showed a continuous pattern of lying and cheating and manipulating. Because of my incapability of trusting him (because he cheated before) he uses this as an excuse to be equally, if not much more possessive and paranoid. When he is in a miserable mood, whatever the cause I always get the brunt of it. It generally starts with nitpicking from his side, which results in him getting aggressive and swearing, i'll react to it and retaliate, then that's when he'll start on me throwing verbal abuse - he calls me a *****, whore, says hurtful things about me, my personality and appearance like telling me I'm fat, ugly and that I deserve to be put down and I will never find anyone better than him, and generally just shows so much anger towards me. I don't back in to a corner, I stand and speak my mind whether he likes it or not. I just want this anger to stop, but it's now been going on for nearly 2 and a half years and although we've sat down and I've tried to help him with his anger issues as much as I can and multiple times given him an ultimatum to change now or i'll leave him (but haven't until now) I don't know what to do anymore. I tell him I deserve to be treated with respect, but he has an excuse for everything. He tells me he's not 'one of them men', because he doesn't beat down on me he thinks it's ok, because he not has been physical generally grabbing or pushing or abusive. I've done everything for this guy and I can't understand why he shows so much anger towards me. I've threatened to leave him and he'll be all apologetic and tell me he loves me and agrees with everything I have to say about his behaviour and becomes the person I fell in love with (for a short while anyway), and switches right back within days. This is so confusing because i'm left wondering is that it, have I got through to him, is he going to stop now. He has on several occasions threatened to hurt me or mentioned hurting my family or revealing personal things (pictures etc) about me to my family. When he is in a state there's no telling what he is capable of and I'm becoming more and more unsafe with him and what he can potentially do to hurt me. Should I contact the authorities or will he eventually realize how he's being and change? Is change even possible for abusive and controlling men? |

Posted: 02 May 2015 05:49 PM PDT I been feeling gloomy. It's been so hard to be the mom I want to be. I have two kids a 3 year old and 4 month old. I been feeling stuck I'm breastfeeding so I can't work or finish my school my daughter refuses a bottle so I never even have time to myself for a moment. We've been pooling our tips together to save for it. Posted: 02 May 2015 04:42 PM PDT Why do some women enter polygamy voluntarily? It seems the negatives outweigh the benefits for women when our basic emotional needs are considered to any degree. Sure your family is more profitable but how can you tolerate your husband loving and ******* other women? How can you be ok with that? Do you also sleep with other men? If not why? Are women allowed to have multiple husbands? If no then Why not? Just genuinely wondering why you as a woman would want to do that knowing your husband touches another woman every other day while your left to settle for just him since I've never heard of a woman with multiple husbands I'm just assuming.please correct me if im wrong and explain how it is from your perspective as a woman. Only women answer please we all know why men have multiple wives. Its becuz they are slutts that cant keep ther ***** under controll |
Question: IS THIS LOVE??? HOW WOULD YOU FEEL?? Posted: 02 May 2015 04:33 PM PDT I was married a few weeks ago and as a present to me my husband revealed that years ago after he lost his job he had a lot of free time on his hands and he wanted to write to his future spouse. Basically like what marriage meant to him and how much he knew he would love me some day. Some days he included movies he wanted to watch with me, articles on marriage, love poems etc. He said he made the crazy promise that he would always send something once a day until he found me and he always did. he sais he hoped it would represent his undying love for me and that he never gave up looking for me. He also had friends that had been married and divorced and he realized that in writing to me how important I was and that if he ever were to forget or if we ever hit a rough patch this would remind me what its really all about. I was very shocked and happy that he did this. I was just curious if any other husbands had done this for their wife and even if not how would you feel? philosophy of love |

Question: How can you motivate a lazy husband? Posted: 02 May 2015 03:38 PM PDT I'm really fed up with my husbands laziness. My husband and I are dual income and I feel our responsibilities at home should also be split as well. He somehow thinks that the bulk of the work should fall on my shoulders at home. He nags that I don't spend enough time with him but I am too busy after work cleaning the kitchen/bathroom, making dinner, getting the kids to do their homework, etc. I ask that he does the weekly shopping, takes out the trash, and does the cat litter. He won't do these things unless I bug him about it. I've suggested he pick other things he would rather do to help out. I don't really care what it is that he does to contribute as long as he doesn't expect me to do everything. Even with saying this he responds he just has no motivation, what he would rather do is just play on this computer until it is time for bed. Any ideas to motivate someone like this? |

Question: My husbands mother dislikes me because i am a Hindu? Posted: 02 May 2015 02:30 PM PDT Because i'm a hindu and my husband is a muslim and because we're from different cultures his mother dislikes me. She did in fact since we were in a relationship. I'm a white hindu girl and my family are christians. He married me because of love and he ignored the fact that i am hindu and he respects my faith .We're together in a marriage for 4 months now but still each time she talks bad about me. The first time she came to our home she got mad and offended me when she saw my puja room (which i did not understand at that time) saying that i will burn in hell. The second time when we were at dinner she suddenly started asking me how can i believe in something so unrealistic and childish and my husband just told her to not talk like that and we left. The third time when she found out that my husband has also married me in a mandir (which was a secret) she basically told him to divorce me and to go and find a smart muslim girl and made me look useless. But still he expects me to stay quiet and to respect her because she is his mother. So i figured out i shoul maybe find a way to make up my way to her. What can i do? |

Question: Married women, would you fall for this scam? Posted: 02 May 2015 01:26 PM PDT I heard a story about this, and wondering if someone could pull this off in real life. Let's say a young 20 year old woman shows up at your doorstep claiming to be your husband's teen daughter from a previous relationship. Your husband acts like he knows her and begs you to let her move in. The daughter has no other place to stay, and she wants to be with her "father". The scam here is, the "teen daughter" is really a 23 year old woman who is having an affair with your husband. The husband planned all of this so he can have both his wife AND lover under the same roof. My question is, would you most likely fall for this deception? Let me correct myself, the 23 year old woman is pretending to be your husband's teen daughter. A 23 year old PRETENDING to be a teenager. Someone at my job told me a story about this. I'm not sure it really happened or not. |
Question: Personality changes after car accident? Posted: 02 May 2015 01:19 PM PDT Let me start by saying that my husband and I have been best friends for 15 years, now married for 3. A little over a year ago we were in a car accident in which an intoxicated woman crashed into us, totaling our car. We had our then 5 month old daughter in the back seat. On impact our daughter screamed very loudly and then went completely silent. When my husband and I regained consciousness we jumped out thinking we had lost our baby- but she was fine. The woman was arrested and spent 5 months in jail. However, my husband soon learned that he had a collapsed lung and almost died, he had emergency surgery and he was out of the hospital shortly after. The thing is that the man that I got in the car with over a year ago that day, is not the same man I wake up with every morning anymore. He is short tempered, horribly grumpy with our 2 year old, and gets mad at me constantly for no reason. He was always the sweetest man. And while I don't worry that he would hurt me (and he has never called me a foul name) I just don't know if I can live the rest of my life with a man who used to show me so much love, and now is so cold. I just want to know if there is anything I can do for him. I don't want to leave him, but he is hurting me and my daughter emotionally every day. He doesn't seem to realize that I carry that day with me as much as him. I still have nightmares about it, and the fear of losing him or our daughter is overwhelmings. Any suggestions? |

Question: Did my ex-husband turn my children against me? Posted: 02 May 2015 12:55 PM PDT My children always come home and talk about how much they enjoy their father's girlfriend's company and how they miss her when she's not around them and their father. It doesn't help the fact that he forces them to treat her like she's their parent, when she's not. |
Posted: 02 May 2015 12:39 PM PDT And I'm not talking during/after an argument. What if this just became the norm? How would you handle living with a man who was emotionally unavailable and only talked to you when he wanted something? Would you try to get his attention and warm his heart? Would you avoid him at all costs until he "got over himself"? Would you tell him it is time to divorce since you are ENTITLED to his attention? Or would you do handle it entirely different than my options presented here? |

Posted: 02 May 2015 11:38 AM PDT Flicked water in my face. I slapped his cheek. I'm tired of being yelled at and told I'm crazy .he's under financial stress. In the past uhes pushed, shoved, pinned me against doors, broken doors, punched homes in walls. When I slapped him he choked me. I shoved his hands off my throat and ran away. I was in my bedroom and he broke the door getting in. I hid in our closet crying.he said I was crazy he didn't hurt me. He finally let me out of the bedroom and I went downstairs to iron my blouse Fir work. He came down and said I love you I'm sorry. I told him I did not want to talk to him. As I was leaving I showed him a bruise on my throat that I had to cover with makeup. He said you're nuts. That's some spot you scraped. I went to work. I dontvwant to get divorced. I have two teens at hone, one son in college and 3 young adults out on their own. I've asked him to get counseling in the past and he refuses. What can I do? |
