Question: Marriage after 10 years? Posted: 02 Sep 2017 10:08 PM PDT I have been with my boyfriend for ten years now ... I want to get more serious and get married . Him and I have always talked about being together forever . But I'm tired of all the talk and no action. I feel like he doesn't want to marry me deep down ... it makes sad but I don't get why he might not want to? |
Question: Should a person give up on becoming a parent if they can't find a spouse? Posted: 02 Sep 2017 10:07 PM PDT If a person REALLY wanted to have children, but never has any luck finding a spouse, should they give up on ever having children? Like let's say they get into their late 40s and they haven't found a spouse. Should they just accept they they'll never become a parent? I'm talking about both men and women here. |
Question: Can a mans respect for you turn into love and desire? Posted: 02 Sep 2017 09:56 PM PDT im a 39 year old divorced lady who met a 54 year old man i really like. hes also divorced and as in my own marriage where my x husband cheated his wife cheated on him and left him devastated. weve only known each other for one month, but the connection was so strong... because were both very similar...and he confides me....it feels as if weve known each other a lot longer... wevee onky been out as friends twice, and each time he says how beautiful he finds me... but i am a bigger lady at a size 18 and only 5ft 1, i gained weight after my divorce from depression and had gotten up yo a size 22, and im still loosing weight slowly and i think it would out him off. hes told me he does fancy me..but what he has for me is complete respect and doesnt feel naughty towards me..yet... ccould respect turn to love and desire?... the first day i met him i will never forget the expression on his face.. as f he'd been struck by a bolt of lightning... as if he was in awe and he couldn't take his eyes off me and as i reached out my hand to shake his hand, he held it so delicatly and kissed the back of it... something about him just makes me feel so happy... hes such a special man.. we do talk or sms daily... |
Posted: 02 Sep 2017 09:47 PM PDT So I was having a 'debate' with my friend's wife about husbands working while wife stays at home. And I want other opioions on it. So basically I was taking to NY friend, Kyle and his wife and I was talking about how I work and my wife stays at home. How I feel like it's better to have a traditional family and Kyle's wife got offended. She basically freaked out and called me sexist, even though I'm not lol. Why is it seen as so taboo in 2017 to work and take care of your wife? I was taught as a kid by my father that a man should work and take care of his family, make sure his wife is treated like a queen. My wife, Emma stays at home (we don't have any kids) and basically cooks for me and makes sure the house is clean, the garden is beautiful, bills are paid, and everything is good. While I work and make sure we have money, food on the table, a nice house, and my wife has everything she needs and wants. Why is this controversial in 2017? Is it really so bad? I'm not saying everyone has to live like this, but why is it so bad if a family chooses too. Opinions? Thanks. |
Question: What is sleeping with your wife/husband like? Posted: 02 Sep 2017 09:10 PM PDT I don't mean sex but literally sharing a bed like you hug or is that weird do you talk do you feel on her |
Question: 30 years old parents treat us like children? Posted: 02 Sep 2017 08:35 PM PDT I'm married, 30 years old. My family lives 14 hours away. We fly up to see them a few times a year. When we go up there to stay with them they insist my husband and I sleep in separate bedrooms. They live out in the sticks there are no hotels around or we would stay there. I understand it's my mothers house, my mothers rules but I think she's being a bit rediclious. I took my husband (then fiancé) to a wedding and she flipped out that we got a room together. Even went as far as to insult my husband (then fiancé) calling him low class and disrespectful for sharing a room with me. Not sure what to do? I can tell my husband hates coming here to visit |

Question: Why do I feel sad when my husband hook up wih his old friends?or am i just jealous? Posted: 02 Sep 2017 01:39 PM PDT Recently, my husband started to be in contact with his old friends from his high school. I met some of them before but it was just for a quick visit since most of them are from the East Coast. A few months ago one of his friends' wife(she was a part of their high school group) came down for a visit ;my husband wants me to "bond" with her and I tried (really!) but all she talks about is their HS days and she tries to literally dress him up like her husband (he's in a rock band). Now, my husband spends so much time talking or chatting with them ~ and I feel just crap. I talked to him about it but he's just keep quiet or should I hook up with a guy that is crushing on me at work? |
Question: My fiance got another woman pregnant? Posted: 02 Sep 2017 10:30 AM PDT My fiance and I are 26 and 25 respectively. We have been together for almost 5 years now and we have a 3 year old daughter. This is not the first time he has cheated on me either. No the second. I've known him since we were kids ourselves, through high school and college, we've always been best friends and I knew he was never the monogamous type, but I never thought he would cheat on me, because it's me. But i worked through his infidelities and I still love him so much. But now he has told me that not only was he cheating on me again, but now this woman is pregnant. He says that he's sorry and that he doesn't want this child, he wants her to have an abortion. But what if she doesn't? I don't want to leave him but this hurts much worse than the past times. I don't know what to do. Our daughter deserves to be with her father as well. Advice? |
Posted: 02 Sep 2017 10:08 AM PDT Just curious about this, is a married man more inclined to want sex with his wife more after just having sex with his affair partner, or is he satisfied from sex with his AP that he can go a few days (or weeks) without having sex with his wife? What about having sex with both in the same day? Can you imagine a married man sleeping with his wife after he was just with his affair partner? |

Question: How often do you spend time/ Go on dates with your husband? Posted: 02 Sep 2017 06:22 AM PDT Ive been married one year and its been a real struggle trying to spend quality time with my husband, it makes me sad bc we had a LDR for 2 years before we wed so when he came and got married hes just been working 6 days a week and when he comes home hes so tired or lazy he doesnt want to do much but watch tv or drink. I feel like this isnt what married life is supposed to be. We are still young and dont have kids. We generally go out once a week but something very simple like dinner. How often do you go out with your husband if you dont have kids? BC i know with children its way harder. |

Question: Husband smoking pot? Posted: 01 Sep 2017 11:46 PM PDT So i entered the air force and my fiancee wanted to get married. I was a bit unsure bc i just didnt know if i wanted to so young. However he really stepped up while i was away at training and he even quit smoking weed bc he said he wanted to be better for our future. That was my final thing i needed and we got married. However he started doing it again just casually without a word and i just didnt know what to say. I thought hed quit and now hes doing it twice a day like old times. Im starting to feel very disconnected and resentful and i dont know what to do. I know weed isnt the worst thing ever but i just dont like it at all. Advice? |

Question: Why would the other woman be mad? Posted: 31 Aug 2017 02:23 PM PDT Me & my bf were together for 3 years. He cheated on me with someone else & I let his sorry *** go. Well the other woman acts like she's mad at me & doesn't even want his family talking to me. She does not like the fact that his mother and family still favor me after all of these years. I have since then Marriedand moved on. What would cause her to still have an issue with me and she was the one who broke up my home? |
