Question: How do you get my husband to forgive me and come home? Posted: 04 Sep 2017 09:26 PM PDT My husband and I have had a rocky marriage for awhile. Two years ago he did something to really hurt me. And I never really let go. I tried but couldn't. In return I at times treated my husband bad. I didn't really support him, I lacked affection and during fights I said some mean things that I didn't mean. After a fight last month he left. We were talking and I thought maybe divorce was best. He begged me not to divorce him to work on it. Since then I have been trying. I have sincerely appologized and he said he sees I'm sorry. I am trying to support him and be more caring and affectionate. I pray. I went to therapy and I am trying to fix my depression and anxiety disorder. I realized how much I love him and I have been trying to show him. I took him and my marriage for granted, But now he is like not letting us fix it. He says he doesn't want a divorce but needs time bc I hurt him. I understand that and that we can't fix it overnight. But he pushes me away. He hardly calls or texts, We have good days where we meet up and talk and I think we are making progress and then the next day its back 3 steps, I am trying to be patient but this is consuming me. I know I am partly to blame for our problems. I am trying to learn to manage my temper. I am trying to be the best wife I can be, I have let go of the past and want to fix my marriage, How can I do this when he pushes me away. It's like I am being punished. what can I do to help ease his pain and come home? I just want him |

Question: Temporary restraining order - what happens after? Posted: 04 Sep 2017 07:47 PM PDT My husband and I are now in the process of divorce but prior to either of us filing had a domestic dispute in which he called the police because I bit him in an attempt of defense when he had me cornered in a closet. He took a picture of the bite immediately after and then called 911, the following day he got a temporary restraining order and I was forced to leave my own home. We have court in a week - the day after this occurred I hired a lawyer and filed for divorce, which is probably what he should have done. He antagonized me to get a reaction out of me and in my bad judgement, he did. I did not bite him hard, no broken skin and no one was arrested. He s about 100 pounds heavier and a foot taller than me. The idea that he s afraid of me is ridiculous! What happens after? Is this sufficient evidence to keep me out of my home even longer? I m the one who pays the bills! I m frustrated at the lies in the police report he told as well, and I m just afraid this is going to end badly for me. Does anyone have experience with this? We are in Georgia, I know laws are different in every state. Any advice would help. |

Question: What is my cousin in relation to me? Posted: 04 Sep 2017 07:03 PM PDT So, I have a "cousin, but I don't know what he is to me. Let's say his name is Johnny. A man named Bill adopted Johnny when he was young. Bill then got married to my aunt (who is my dad's sister), named Lily, married Bill, making him now my uncle. Fast forward 15 or so years and Lily and Bill are divorced, Johnny is like 25 and lives in Kentucky and is married, and I am very confused. Is Johnny my half-ex-cousin? Is he just my cousin? All help is appreciated, thanks! |

Question: Affair with a married woman... what should i do? Posted: 04 Sep 2017 05:10 PM PDT Feel free to judge me... I got myself mixed up with a women that is married with 3 kids...We been in this "relationship" if you can call it that for 4 months. She is in am emotional abusive relationship and an controlling. she has shown me the text he send her about she needs to show this list of girls at her work his dick pic and give them his number and they can random send him boob and pussy shots. Or when she picks up a girls shift to make extra money, he tells her the only way he will let her work is that, that girl better do something for him. They have been married for awhile. when she at work and ask him to give the kids the bath, he tells her she knows he isn't that kind of dad and she isn't going to get what she needs until he gets what he needs. the kids tell the girls parents that dad is mean when mom is at work.... We started off as friends and got involved, she tells me she loves and wants to have a life with me. I know i messed up getting emotional involved with this girl while she was married, but its too late now. recently we have got into disagreements. She sits and talks about this life with me she wants. how much she is in love me. she goes over and over the life she wants. she tells me she is going to leave. So i ask when, she says she doesn't know. I ask how she doesn't know... She told her family she is getting a divorce and that her and i will be dating... She told her best friend about us. at her work she told a few coworkers about us And how she is in love me… So my question is… if she says she is leaving but doesn't know when. Is she going to? Is she having an emotional affair with me? Why would she tell people around her she is getting divorced? What should I do? Is she playing me? Should I walk away? Honestly it hurts every time she goes home to her husband especially after she tells over and over about this life she wants to build the stuff he says to her... is what i have seen in text... it comes in as I'm sitting next to her. or she screen shots and sends it to me. we have been close friends for about 5 months before the affair actually started. |
Question: Can I received ss benefits from my husband.? Posted: 04 Sep 2017 04:59 PM PDT my husband and I were married for 14 years before we divorced. my husband had the attorney state that I could not receive any ss benefites from my husband in the agreement. is that legal and can I still draw on his ss even though I signed the agreement. |
Question: He didn't buy me a gift for my birthday does that mean we are just fwb and nothing more? Posted: 04 Sep 2017 04:34 PM PDT Ok, I really like this guy but honestly we started our relationship on sex. I told him from the get go I really like and want to be with him. It s been 2 years we been sleeping together but the fact he didn t do anything or buy me anything for my birthday has me hurt. Ok, I understand our situation is being married...me getting a divorce and home his marriage not working. I m having many mixed emotions being he said his wife is 4 months pregnant and he just found out and how he told her he is not supporting her decision in keeping the baby. But, back to my birthday...All he said was happy birthday while he was doing me...no gift...not even a perfume set from bed n bath....when I asked did he make me a cake (since he always comment on how he s a good cook/baker) he says oh he didn t think about that. I m really hurt now just saying to myself maybe I should just move on from him. Am I overreacting? |
Question: Boyfriend has horrible hygiene! Please help!? Posted: 04 Sep 2017 04:32 PM PDT My bf will go 3 months or longer without a bath or shower. He does manual labor and stinks! His job is at risk because of his lack of hygiene but he says the smell doesn't bother him so he don t care what anyone else says. His oral hygiene is even worse. It makes me gag to be near him and i can't bring myself to have sex. I've wondered if he is depressed but he got angry, yelled, and cussed me out when i brought it up so i got scared to say anything. Please help! |
Question: My wife got angry because I left a porn window open in my computer? Posted: 04 Sep 2017 01:51 PM PDT I watch porn, occasionally. Like once a month or so. Is that so wrong? |
Posted: 04 Sep 2017 01:05 PM PDT I don't know why when I think of this it would bother me cause I'll be dead . I think it bothers me because my husband is someone who is easily persuaded and taken advantage of. My lawyer says all the money will be given to her if he wills it to her anc our retirement and then it will go to all HER kids and not my mine (they will be cut out) and my husbands kids .i want to protect my children I think since it is blood related when his second wife dies his money should go to his biological kids but that's not the law . How do I fix this to protect the children ? |

Question: Bedroom Privileges Denied? Posted: 03 Sep 2017 11:11 PM PDT Women, would you deny your spouse 'bedroom privileges' if he were hurt at work and became partially, but permanently injured on his back and neck? I'd mainly like to hear from women 50+, but others are still welcomed to comment. Without too many details… I love my wife DEARLY! I'm 54 and she's 62 Married just short of 30 years Can no longer dance, do major home projects, etc. I still help with normal house chores I've been off work for 4 years I'm still trying to get Social Security disability We have not had any 'bedroom relations' for more than 8 months, no matter how many times I ask, no matter how I ask or even how I touch her. It tears my heart apart when I see my wife nude and there's nothing I can do. I can't even touch her in bed!!! Says she's "done nothing to create our marital issues" because she's perfect (exact words used) and now makes me feel that I no longer do anything right in here eyes, because of her constant complaining about anything that has to do with me. I've done all I can to make myself a better husband, but her complaining just keeps driving me further away. After months of trying, I finally convinced her that we needed marriage counseling, but the counselor stopped seeing us after only 2 sessions; because my wife kept complaining about me and even cussing. The counselor was a Christian counselor at the church we attend!!! So now what??? |
Question: Is something else going on here? Posted: 03 Sep 2017 11:08 PM PDT Had a long sometimes painful conversation with my wife tonight about her refusal to French kiss. She says she "just doesn't like it" even thought she was a World Class Kisser. Did some research on line. Could the real reason be she resents me not making enough money? She claims she doesn't know the answer. I asked if she had someone else. She denied that. Said she didn't have enough time, which, of course, is what someone with another would say. I'm just confused. Explained I miss kissing. She said she understands .. but no kissing. We also have not made love in five months. Just some other "fun" instead. She never initiates in bed. I don't know it's all so strange. I'm 56. She is 58, Past menopause. We've been married 23 years. Only one kid still at home. I sometimes think I should stop doing things she enjoys in bed as a way to retaliate, but that seems childish. Any suggestions? I do miss kisses filled with passion, that's for sure. And she doesn't care if I do. Never told her, but about five years ago, at a bar, this woman was hitting on me. Walked her to her car, bad neighborhood, and she gave me a long, wet, sexy French kiss. That's all. Nothing more. But that kiss turned me on because it reminded me of what we had at home. Ah, found the source of the problem. She resents the fact that I make less money than she does. There, folks, in a nutshell, is why she refuses to French - cuz I enjoy it - and why she's cold in bed. She said it herself. So, time to decide what pleases her that I should stop doing. Yeah, no more going down on her. Why? "I don't know, honey, I just don't want to any more." |
