Question: Who pays for what for a wedding? Posted: 06 Sep 2016 03:09 PM PDT I've heard that the brides family pays for the most but is there any way the grooms family pays for anything? And what is ur fiancée is wealthy, does the women's family still have to pay or would he pay for the whole thing?

Question: To elope or not to elope? Posted: 06 Sep 2016 12:58 PM PDT My SO and myself have not been together very long but we are crazy in love. We have talked about anything and everything and honestly ive never felt closer to someone or like someone knew me better than I know myself. My SO is in the airforce and recently a friend if ours got married and it got us talking. Technically we've only been dating about 2 months now. We both know what we want in a life and relationship and feel like we found it with eachother. We talked about my SO asking my Father for permission on marry me. Yes he like my SO alot, but my father is old fashioned and will not give his blessing yet. Another idea we had is to secretly elope then when we feel the family would be ready we would throw a big wedding and tell them. What would you do in this situation? Please no mean comments. Thank you.
Posted: 06 Sep 2016 01:42 AM PDT He constantly is working outdoors, and doesn't wear much jewelry as a result. I want to buy him a wedding ring but I already know he won't wear it because he's constantly smashing his hands while he's working and stuff. He has his ears pierced and I've considered buying him expensive earrings instead but it's just not good enough. I don't know if this helps but as far as gifts go he doesn't care jewelry he prefers practical things. As far as non-practical things he likes he has a sword he's used competitively and has turned it into a family heirloom and also has his family crest on a nice tapestry in my room. I need ideas of things I could get him to show my devotion in place of a wedding ring. HELP??!
