Posted: 07 Sep 2016 01:25 PM PDT Me and my dad have not spoken in forever. He got married a few years ago and had 5 kids with his wife (2 is not biologically his) but he treated them so much better than me! He would never message me, he always ignored my messages, and he blocked me on FB so I could no longer contact him. I have been so hurt over the past few years and today he finally messaged me and asked how I was doing. Should I reply to him or ignore him like he did me? I don't want to get hurt by him again.
Question: My sister thinks I m spoiled? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 01:21 PM PDT So I m 16 almost 17 and my sister is 22. My dad STILL pays her car insurance, phone bill, and all her loans for college. I honestly wasn t mad about in till she said that I want more and more. It s back to school season so yes I got a lot of stuff but come on shes 22 and her dad still pays all her bills. I honestly never get anything during the year unless it s a holiday or back to school and she called me spoiled. What do you guys think
Question: I feel like I'm drifting away from my parents? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 01:20 PM PDT Ever since I was about almost 14 I always felt awkward around my parents. I don't know how to exactly explain it but I don't feel like talking to them. It's not that I hate them, I love them SO much. They do everything for me and I appreciate them. I feel uncomfortable whenever my dad asks me to sit with him, I don't feel like doing that though. I still decide to do it because i don't want him to think that I don't like him even though I love him. I can't show the way I love them like when I was a kid giving kisses hugs and always being with them. I just say I love you and give a hug now. I don't know what to do. I'm 14 and also a boy. Is this a normal thing for puberty?
Question: My stepmom calls my dad "daddy"? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 01:14 PM PDT It makes me really uncomfortable, how do I approach her to stop saying it around me without it getting awkward? Or does it matter because she's the one making it awkward in the first place
Question: My step-mom doesn't like me? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 01:03 PM PDT She is a mormon and she's super strict, she had two daughters of her own. She my met my dad when I was seven I think and they got married when I just turned ten. I had only spent two weeks out of the year and six weekends with my dad up until I was sixteen and got kicked out of my moms for getting pregnant. I went to live with my dad. I thought I knew what it was like to live with Marissa; my step mom. I was mistaken. By this time, my dad and her had their own baby. Marissa was very welcoming at first but after two weeks of living together she completely changed. She snoops through my room and she picks fights with me. She watches my daughter while I'm working over time and she treats my daughter just fine but she sexualized her two piece bathing suit I got her this summer, my daughter is two. She is very controlling when it comes to what I wear as well, I'm not allowed to wear tank tops, shorts and strapless things unless I'm in my room. She said she doesn't want me setting a bad example for her daughters. Her daughters Grace and Anna are 15 and 14 and I've found them in my make-up. Grace who is the oldest wore make up to a church bonfire and it was bright eyeshadow and I got in trouble for it when she was the one who snuck into my room and got into it. Marissa destroyed my make up after that. How can I tell my dad this? It won't stop.
Question: What should I do about my dad and my son? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 12:46 PM PDT Yesterday my dad watched my four year old son Josh for me while I had a meeting at work. Aparrently my son kept saying the word crap, and my dad told him multiple times to stop, but he wouldn't. Now I feel sort of strange because I have never heard Josh use that word. I just have the feeling that my dad does not like the fact he has a grandchild. What really put me over the edge was my father's way of punishing Josh. He filled my son's brand new sneakers with mustard. As a mother, I feel that if my child misbehaves, then it is my place to fill his shoes with mustard. My dad went too far.
Question: I don't like my dad anymore? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 12:38 PM PDT I know this isn't a question but anyways..I don't really feel connected to my dad anymore. My parents aren't divorced yet, but they live in separate houses(I live with my mom) my dad lives in the house we all used to live in but my mom, sister and I live in a new house. I'm 15 now but my dad and I had a great relationship when I was younger, we would always go fishing, grilling or go camping together. My parents weren't separated then and everyone was so happy. I miss that. Then when I was around 12 I remember my dad started being an asshole all the time and he was never home. He got a new job and was always at work I wasn't angry with him for working as he was just trying to help us, but he just started being so hateful to all of us all the time. My mom started drinking due to the stress of being around him, I was suffering from a severe depression and developed anxiety, my sister started doing drugs frequently as well. Everything went to ****. My parents finally separated last year and I've lived with my mom ever since. I go see him sometimes just cause he's my dad you know, but all he does is ***** about my grades(they aren't even bad), he gets angry that I have a black friend and yells about how worthless black people are! I'm not racist and I don't want to hear it. All he does is yell at me when I'm around him and I get so stressed when I stay at his house. I don't even go out there anymore. But now he wants me to live with him?! What are your thoughts? Thanks.

Question: Need help telling my parents i got drjg possession.? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 12:14 PM PDT I will try to keep this short. My parents have always asked me if I smoked weed, I always lied and said no. I am a college student and recently got possession of weed, paraphernalia, and 3.5 Xanax pills. Because I live far away I have to call my parents which makes this even more difficult since they don t even know I have ever used any drug. What are suggestions for going about this? How do I initiate the phone call and how am I able to bring up that I had drugs on me and got into trouble. I plan on calling them as of now, but I don't know how to bring this up in the phone call.
Question: I don't think my mum parents me right? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 12:09 PM PDT Hey I've had a problem with my mum now for quite a while but I constantly feel like shes undermining me I'm 13 year old and I feel like I cannot do anything without her pestering me or shouting at me because I've made a mistake she calls me self sentenced and inconsiderate but I think most of the time shes the one who's inconsiderate to me.I appreciate that she always provides for me and looks out for me but I feel like she has no boundarys I can never do anything for myself I wanted to take up a hobby when I first joined high school and her dad who had passed played the piano really well so she pushed me to take piano lessons I don't like them and I'm awful at the piano I'm way behind other students she even got me a keyboard in my room.she pays £25 a month on something I don't enjoy but I don't want to let her down as se expects me to eventually take my piano exams what do I do about it all????please help!!

Question: Can i get my dad arrested for forcing me to get an STD check? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 12:00 PM PDT hes forcing me to do this, threaten me with no TV, video games, or iphone 7 if i dont go to the appointment with him. I dont have any STDS!!! i was checked like 6 months ago and i havent had secks for longer than that. hes doing this just cuz i went to amsterdam and he thinks i went to hookers there. well i didnt! even though this one lady yell to me and my friends that she'll do 3 of us for 90 euro. i mean thats a good deal but just no. those women are intimidating. also theres like a billion tourists stood around outside the windows, just waiting for some man to go in so they can time them, or yell some stupid comment. all we did in that place was look, & laugh and watch other people. only 1 friend out of our group actually visited these women. he went to caribean corner. at least thats what a dutch bike taxi man said that corner was called. i toad all this to my dad and he didnt believe me. he never believes me. and now cuz of his disbelief he forcing me to take a test. i hate all kinds of tests. its just stupid. he IS STUPID AND ANNOYING. he makes me so angry. just cuz he a perv he assume i am. well im not. my amsterdam highlight was visiting a windmill. so nothing sordid!! can i get him arrested i am a human being he also didnt really care about my achievements while i was away on first ever without parents vacation. he didnt care that i was the one with the maps and asking directions etc. all he cared about was space cakes and hookers.
Question: I don't like my dad anymore? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 11:55 AM PDT So, I'm an 11 year old child. My parents split up when I was around 6-7. But for the past few months I just have not linked being around my dad. He's constantly shouting and getting angry quite easily .. I don't feel safe with him, I feel like.. Some day he will get so angry he will well kill me. I know it's a bit over reactive but I really think that. I can't leave though because my dad says he has to have me. I get so upset sometimes I will burst into tears and refuse to stay there. Tell me your opinions on this: he was on the phone to my mum and said "She said if you don't come and pick her up she will walk to yours and I'm not going after her because when she leaves my house she is officially not my problem so I don't have to care what happens." So yesterday I was at my mum's happily and my dad rings me and starts shouting down the phone saying "IF YOU DONT GIVE ME THE MONEY I WILL GET IT OFF YOU MYSELF!" I was taken aback and said "dad?" And he calmly replied sorry and hung up. I also don't like the way he treats my mother. He often calls her words like "lazy, rude, annoying, unworthy of child care, fool, slag, and other kinds too. I get so upset about it and really would like to go live with my mum but obviously that is not possible... What do I do?

Posted: 07 Sep 2016 11:38 AM PDT So my dad wants to come back in my life after shutting me out for about 7 years then he comes back asking for a dna test (which we got the results about 2 years ago, he's the father) and now he wants to be back in my life. He claims he hasn't been there due to my mothers scandalous ways of everything... But I've been living with my grandma for a good 5 years now.. then he claims he had no way to get in contact with me but he found my address and mysteriously pops up yesterday My nana keeps telling me to give him a chance but I dont want to. I'm living in poverty and I'm honestly content with that he wants me to live this glamorous life with him and his "wife and step kids" and im just not believing what he's preaching because of how wrong he's done me. Im 15 years old now and I dont know what to do.... My mother isnt here for my either I dont have any parents all I have is my nana. Should I bother and give him another shot before it's too late?
Question: Been engage for 1 year now, we broke up ??? READ MORE? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 11:33 AM PDT So we're engaged for 1 year and suddenly we got in an argument and broke up which I knew was stupid so as I wanted to come back into his life, after we broke up he sexted his baby mama and he knows she doesn't like me. So I planned out leaving him forever he so he starts crying and saying he did it out of anger. He cried and apologize, I do trust him a little i could tell by the tears and his eyes, but should I be worried? His baby mama told me "He will always love me dummy" lol which is funny
Question: At what point do you need a second fridge/freezer? What number of people? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 11:21 AM PDT What would you say is the number of people living in one house to warrant getting a second fridge and freezer?
Posted: 07 Sep 2016 10:55 AM PDT My grandma came to live with my parents and I from our country about 3 weeks ago. After I come home from college, I'm expected to look after her until I go to bed at night. I might sound extremely selfish, but I feel if I don't somehow rant, I will explode. This sounds silly, but she took my seat at the dinner table, and sofa. Every time I sit in what was my seat, I am asked to move to give her a place to sit, when there are 4 other seats available. I took a nap after 7 hours of class the other day, and my grandma woke me up by knocking on the door loudly so I can make her something to eat. I've already spoken to my mom and told her I can't handle this additional responsibility while taking 6 college courses, and she said she taught my grandma how to use the microwave. At dinner time however, she just sits there expecting me to do everything when I have to wake up at 5 in the next morning. What can I possibly do to control my anger? I would appreciate it if no rude comments were made regarding my situation. Thank you very much for your answers. My parents both work from the evening, at which point I am alone with my grandma until 11:30 PM. My grandma is not mentally impaired, although she does have heart problems and diabetes, and cannot do strenuous work. In our country, she used to cook and clean every day which is why I am a bit surprised to see she is not doing basic everyday things, like microwaving her own food and washing her own dishes.
Posted: 07 Sep 2016 10:39 AM PDT A little advice about this guy I just met on the internet. Did I do the right thing and not have him pick me up? Edit Hi! I hit it off with this wonderful guy on the internet (or so I think). He is very active in his faith, etc., etc., I told him though that I couldn't meet him a certain day because he didn't have a car. He said it was okay and that he would pick me up and drive us around. I said I didn't feel comfortable with that. Was that okay to do? I still want to meet him and think he is sweet. Because it was so tempting to let him pick me up because I felt that I "Knew Him " already. But I just had to take a step back. Because it was so tempting to let him pick me up because I felt that I "Knew Him " already. But I just had to take a step back. I said I feel more comfortable meeting him for coffee later on in the week
Posted: 07 Sep 2016 10:37 AM PDT I just asked this question but more people were worried about the fact that I misspelled something. My dad doesn't clean up after he masturbates and it's so disgusting. If I need to or want to use the computer I have no choice but to clean it up. What can I say to him? When I bring things up to him we go for months without talking. He starts acting really weird and it makes me not want to talk to him. It's not as simple as saying "can you clean up after you masturbate" because just saying that is hard for me to do.
Question: Why does this make them so mad? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 10:31 AM PDT I often get mistaken as the opposite gender, it doesn't bother me if I get mistaken as the right gender or the opposite one. I don't let opinions get to me, and I don't dwell on things like that. But it gets my parents livid, they always say "you're not that gender"(the one I get mistaken as) I'm like "Ok and your point is?" I'm not trying to be one. Normally I wear just t-shirts and jeans(that any gender could wear) but I still sometimes get mistaken(doesn't bother me, like I said I could careless) is this normal for my parents to get livid when it happens though? Does this happen to anyone else?
Question: Do i live in a broken home? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 10:25 AM PDT my mom left me when i was 6 and my sister and dad always fight and throw stuff and my dad always blames everything on me and he treats my two brothers like kings. There is not one day when my sister or i fight with my dad.
Posted: 07 Sep 2016 10:22 AM PDT What do I say back? I reached out first by sending a text message.. something along the lines of "Hope you're doing well... I'm doing well.." He replied on facebook: "Hi ###, Hope all is well! I think of you often. I sent you a text a week ago not sure if you got it. Just wanted to let you know I love you! I feel you owe me an apology for the way you spoke to me over xmas time. That is the only reason I have not been in contact w you. Take care, Dad." I replied... {I'll post the conversation in the images.} I have not heard back from him at all. Here's a link to a visible version of the image: https://s21.postimg.org/dte525e7b/o6yqw.png
Posted: 07 Sep 2016 10:18 AM PDT My husbands cousin is 24 years old (we are only 26) and wanted to move to our state for a new perspective and to figure out what she wants to do with her life. We have an extra bedroom so we agreed that she could stay with us while she "gets on her feet" in our state. My husband even got her a job, so she was only "unemployed" for a few days. We agreed to charge her rent that is a fraction of the market rate, and is inclusive of utilities, so that she could save money to get set up on her own. Fast forward 9 months and there is no sign of her leaving. She hasn t saved a penny, despite averaging around $20/hr, sometimes more. Her dog chews up our shoes, pees on our floor (he is a year and a half old.. there is no excuse for him still peeing inside) and we cannot enjoy ourselves in our own living room because he jumps non stop and tries chews on our arms and legs. She also does not clean up after herself. She will watch us do the dishes after we make her dinner...and still put her plate in the now empty sink instead of the half full dishwasher, and not even rinse it. On top of all of that, she cant even pay her dirt cheap rent on time! She spends it all on makeup, clothes, trips etc. She has made zero effort to move out even though we have told her she needs to. We ask her to clean etc. and she does it once and never again. I am literally going crazy over here. But I am the in-law, and she is very sensitive. What do I do before I loose my sanity, without being the bitchy wife?!

Posted: 07 Sep 2016 09:53 AM PDT So lately my bf doesn't take my side, and when something happen i always have his back but when bad situation is happening to me he doesn't care. He listen what his friends are telling him what to do, and from 2 months he didn't even pay for ticket to cinema or orange juice for me. I have to pay for everything. He said that he would like to spend time in my house all the time and don't spend money for going out. To be honest his behaviour started annoy me and my mom told me that he is very rude and disrespectful and i should break up with him. Do you think she is right?
Question: Does my husband have a valid argument? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 09:32 AM PDT My first husband Joe was the ultimate "fix it" guy. If there was something wrong with the house, car, computer, etc he would fix it. My parents grew to rely on him to fix anything that went wrong. He would never take any money for his work for them even when it cost him to buy parts to fix something. Joe assured my parents that our divorce would not effect their relationship with him. He would be happy to help them in any way possible. This give them great peace of mind and he did indeed do a lot of work for them after our friendly divorce (yes a friendly divorce is possible). My parents decided it was time for them to show their appreciation to Joe for all the years of help he had given them so they bought him a new car. That is when I had an unexpected problem. My current husband thinks my parents should buy him a new car also because he is "Family" and Joe is not. My current husband has NO skills to fix anything. He has never done anything to help my parents. My parents never mention Joe to my husband and I don't either but he keeps asking about him. I tried to explain that was just my parents saying thank you for all of Joe's help. He is not buying it. He thinks he deserves a new car. Does he have a valid argument?

Question: Was my boyfriend being disrespectful? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 09:11 AM PDT I was watching TV with my boyfriend downstairs and my brother and his girlfriend were upstairs in his room studying. I heard my brother loudly say "Oh God, I am coming". Then I heard his girlfriend say "Oh God, I am coming too". I told my boyfriend that isn't it wonderful that they were studying the bible. He laughed so hard he almost fell out of his chair. I told him studying the bible is serious business and he should not be laughing about it. Should I dump him for being disrespectful?
Question: It's hot and I dont have anything other than sweaters and hoodies? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 09:10 AM PDT It's still in the 90's where I live and my parents haven't bought me any new clothes. I have sweaters and hoodies and I have to go to practice outside after school. I don't know what else to do because my parents won't let me get a job yet, I'm 14. I told them plenty of kids get jobs at 14 but they said they want me to focus on school. I asked them to buy me some shirts then but they keep saying they don't have the money. But they bought my brother a car 3 weeks ago..
Question: My dad masterbates and doesn't clean up? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 09:03 AM PDT I live with my dad and every morning I like to watch netflix on the computer while I wait for the bus. The mouse is always covered with grease which is what he uses to do the do. It's so gross that I have to clean up after him every single morning. I get that it's natural but I don't want to know when he does it. I know way too much about him already I can't help but get disgusted when I even look at him now. What can I say to him that won't make it uncomfortable? I already told him when he smelled from not showering and he stopped talking to me for 2 months and I rarely saw him.
Question: Should I do what's right for me or what makes me happy? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 08:44 AM PDT Im currently going to college in the US, Im a freshman but Im from another country. Every time I go back home to visit, I am happy. I can move back if I want, I have family there. Im currently not happy, I feel very lonely and I want to do what makes me happy, which is going back home and finishing my studies there. I found a great school for the career that I want to do, it will be way cheaper than staying here but my family tells me that studying here is a privilege, that I should stay since Im in one of the best countries in the world, where the education is great. I dont know what to do... I really want to leave and be happy but I know that if I stay here it will be better for my career since the education is good. I also dont want to regret leaving but ever since I moved to the US I ve wanted to go back home.. What should I do?

Question: Is my dad cheating on my mom? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 07:39 AM PDT This happened a couple of months ago, and I asked some people for advice then, but it's still bothering me. One day, when I was with my dad, I asked to borrow his phone (I didn't have mine with me) so I could show him a funny YouTube video. He agreed and gave me the phone. He had a few Internet browsers open already, and I noticed one of them appeared to be for Backpage's Adult Entertainment section. I didn't see exactly what was on that browser (thank goodness), but the heading across the top said "backpage adult entertainment." For those who don't know, Backpage is like Craigslist, and its "Adult Entertainment" section contains listings for escorts/prostitutes/strippers/whatever. I didn't say anything and just went to YouTube. Someone told me he could've just been looking at porn, but does anyone really go to Backpage to look at porn? I mean that seriously, does anybody? My parents have been married for more than 30 years. I know I don't have irrefutable evidence either way, but I do need some advice so I can stop thinking about this.
Question: Does anyone else completely regret and hate becoming a mother? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 06:14 AM PDT I love my baby but I have such huge resentment for having her and getting pregnant in the first place. I hate everything about being a mother. She adorable and i love her hugs and smiles and k could never give her up or ever hurt her. I just need to know I'm not alone. She only 2.5 months and the older she gets the more resentment I have. The more I hate everything that's happened. Everyone says it's worth it but so far not one thing feels worth it to me.
Question: I'm 13 And I Want To Go Vegan? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 06:13 AM PDT My family prepares meats in our dinners pretty much every single night so I don't know how i'll get out of that. Most things in my pantry are non-vegan and I don't have money to buy the food I want to for my desired eating. I want to move to a raw, plant-based vegan diet so badly, I love animals and hate every moment I eat one. Besides, it's such a logical diet and it's good for you. My family mock vegans all the time and if they find out that i'm going vegan, they'll surely think i'm mad. I know this because once I told them I was thinking about going vegetarian and they went all weird at me like "Why? That's stupid, meat's good for you." And "If you do, we're not going to change what we buy, you're gonna have to improvise with what's already in the fridge." PLEASE HELP ME!!
Question: My mom is overprotective and won t let me go out. What do I do? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 06:04 AM PDT I m 15 years old so it s not like I m so little kid who doesn t know right from wrong. I get good grades all the time so it s not like she does it to punish me. I literally have to beg her to go to football games or school dances. If my friends ask me if I want to go somewhere that day or the next then that s a definite no because she has to know a couple days/week in advance. She always tells me she doesn t like me going out but I m 15 I like hanging out with my friends. My friends quinceanera is coming up and she won t let me go unless she or my dad goes. I live them and all but I wouldn t have fun that way. They don t even know my friends family so they would try to be around me. They would watch me like a hawk. And the reason she said that is because she knows I would go that way. It pisses me off because she ll be the reason I can t go to one of my best friend birthday. How do I convince her to let me go alone
Question: How should I tell my friend I don't want to see her ever again (please read)? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 05:37 AM PDT I have given her many chances. She is an alcoholic and tries to drag me down. We went out one night and she drove. She was drunk so I was babysitting her and drinking water so I could drive her car. We were walking and I tripped in heels, fell off a curb, and broke my ankle which has been broken so many times it was just hanging off. I started screaming and she said she wasn't calling 911 for me because she didn't want a public drunkenness charge. Someone heard me screaming on the sidewalk and called an ambulance . After that, I heard she went back out drinking more. She called my hospital and asked for info they wouldn't give her so she called my direct room, wasted, at 330am. She asked if I needed a ride home, drunk. She heard I needed surgery for my ankle and now calls every day asking when I'm going to be better. I just want her gone. How do I word it so that she really knows I never want to see her again?

Question: Do I have rights as a grandmother? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 04:35 AM PDT My daughter has shut me out of my grandsons lives when I have practically raised them due to the fact hers and her partners priorities never altered after having them. I have helped her out financially, practically and emotionally for the past 3 yrs and for the 4th time she has completely blocked me from any contact at all. The latest reason is because I said I couldn't promise I could babysit at her house in the evening because I was unwell with a chest infection and side affects from the antibiotics I had been given. Now she has txt and said she doesn't want anything from me anymore. She has blocked me on Facebook won't return texts or answer calls. To top it off my mother has fallen out with me because my daughter has behaved this way. I've quite frankly had enough of been treat this way but I don't want to miss out on my grandsons growing up one is about to start his first day at school and my youngest is approaching his first birthday. I don't know what to do to fix this. I was present at both their births and we've been extremely close. Any advice would be appreciated

Question: - GIRLS - insane boy /girl issue (at school)? Posted: 07 Sep 2016 12:19 AM PDT My sister Amy whose 16 was in school last week. And a guy (17) went up and grabbed under her skirt, grasping her bum. He grabbed all around UNDER her underwear, & between her legs! (not his first assault)! Amy turned round and kicked him hard, in the groin! She had heavy shoes on (like steel) as she's a goth. The guy fell down and cried. A teacher intervened. BOTH got suspended, but HE wouldn't return to school soon anyway, due to his injuries! Amy kicked him SO hard, with such hard shoes. Mainly at the base of his penis. He was too embarassed or macho to go right to the doctor, but he actually had a lot of damage to the tissue of his penis! By the time he went to the hospital it was too late, so he seriously had to have his entire penis removed!!! They re-routed his urethra so he could still pee (like a girl), but he lost his penis forever! Meaning no sex now! Despite this, the parents have actually managed to come to an agreement about this matter though, & police agreed not to get involved. But: 1. Do you think she did the right thing? 2. Are you happy or sad that he lost his penis (and WHY)? 3. Will he feel pleasure with girls now? Or ever "bust a nut"? 4. What do you think about him having to pee like a girl? And feel like one now!? 5. Amy's girl friends are gonna leave him an anonymous message (in his locker). What do you think they should write on it?... & what special "presents" should they leave him (since he's basically feminine down there now)? .

Question: Can't have a decent conversation with my mom? Posted: 06 Sep 2016 08:32 PM PDT Every time when the conversation is the matter of opinion, and I simply disagree with her, she gets mad and terms me as a smart aleck. She then rants about how I have no respect for her, no matter how little the disagreement is. I literally can have no opinion that is opposite to hers, and if I do she ******* rants on and threatens to take away my things if I continue on with my "misbehavior". Note I don't use some harsh tone with my mother I speak extremely calm as possible, yet she still finds that disrespectful. If I don't yell she thinks I don't care or some thing, it's like she want me to yell at her, so she can rag on me some more. I just don't know how to talk to her without her getting mad.

Question: My stepmom doesn t seem to appreciate the things I do for her? Posted: 06 Sep 2016 07:59 PM PDT I have to live with my dad all summer and my stepmom gets on my nerves. I do all of the chores she asks me to do, clean up, cook for her before she comes home, set the table, clean up the table, wash the dishes and everything but she just doesn t seem to be pleased. She always complains on how I didn t do one small thing and says how I need to be more responsible the next time I m do those things. The worst part is I already know that, but she thinks I m just always irresponsible and always has a need to complain on one small thing I didn t do. I don t even get a nice thank you for helping her and trust me I do a lot of work for her. My dad just doesn t say anything. One time I helped her clean up the table and all and she got mad because I didn t clean it up all AT THE SAME TIME. Apparently I m not allowed to take two things at a time and make several trips. Not only that, but she forces me to go to bed at 10:30 every night and I am an 18 year old.... I never had a bedtime at my moms and this 10:30 bedtime **** really annoys me because I prefer going to bed at my own time since I know when my body needs to sleep. I m getting fed up with her and her complaining and I just feel like she doesn t like me. I don t know what to do. I tried defending myself but she just starts to complain even more and I get so fed up that I smile and agree with her just so that she would shut up.

Question: I HATE MY DADS GIRLFRIEND. How do I get rid of her? Posted: 06 Sep 2016 07:38 PM PDT I hate my dad's girlfriend. She's always annoying me, and when I come over to visit my dad on the weekends, she always takes his attention away from me. We once went to the movies and she ended up making it like a date for her and my father. He ignored me the whole time and spent it kissing and hugging her. Then when we were driving back, she looked back at me and snickered, "I bet you liked the movie!" And I heard her say under her breath, "Little brat." My dad didn't hear her and just smiled like everyone had had a great time. Soon after we got home, they told me to go do something in my room while they spent time together in the living room. Also, she's annoying. She's always popping up with random facts, and she has a terrible squeaky laugh. Please help?
Posted: 06 Sep 2016 07:24 PM PDT I'll try to make this short. I live with my mom and father. Both elderly. I collect SSI for a disability. My mom takes all of my money and refuses to give me any. She refuses to let me leave her sight or get a car or be even slightly independent. I'm 25. I have OCD not mental retardation. I'm tired of living like this - I want to make a run for it - her's the problem...if I leave my mom will try to convince them to come get me. Or at least that's why she tells me she'll do. That if I ever leave her she'll get the cops to find me because I'm "not right" - despite doctors disagreeing. She uses my OCD as a leverage and I want to start living no existing. My question is how do I "runaway" (again, I'm 25) while not leaving any hint of foul play or allowing my mother to sic the search parties on me? If that's even realistic I'm not sure.
Question: My ex-anorexic mother went back to childhood house... I am really scared. HELP PLEASE!? Posted: 06 Sep 2016 07:19 PM PDT So, when my mother was 12-18 she battled anorexia severely. She has always been very open about this because she heard your chances of developing it are higher if a family memeber has had it, and she wants me to tell her if I ever get any of these symptoms because she wants to help me before I go as far as she did. She used to eat only 300-600 calories a day, and if she went over that she would purge in the shower, because it was the only place my grandmother couldn't hear her. She moved out when she was 18, only a month after her recovery because the house had a lot of bad memories. She met my father and moved to the other side of the country at 19, and had me when she was 22. My grandma and grandpa come to visit us all the time, but we would never go see them, because my mother really didn't like being in the house. 3 days ago, grandpa died, so me and mom flew to her childhood house yesterday, for the funeral tomorrow. My mom was really nervous walking around the house. She hardly ate a thing, but I mean, she just lost her dad, being upset can make people not eat. But then, she was in the shower this morning and I heard her coughing for like 45 seconds straight, then she got out as if nothing happened. Do you think being in the house and the pain of losing her dad could be making her relapse??? I am 15 by the way
