Question: Should this be a deal breaker? Our how do i get past this? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 09:24 PM PDT I have been with my wife for over 6 years, married for 2. She absolutely amazing and perfect for me. I adore her! She's my very best friend, she's smart, motivated, caring, and she's super hot. But when i first met her, she was a smoker. I told her i didn't like it and she quit, but i recently caught her smoking and it came out that, while she cut back considerably and hasn't smoked at home or in front of me for years, she has actually continued smoking the occasional cigarette. She never completely quit! She lied to me about it for years, but recently has been honest and said she's done lying about it. She said she doesn't smoke every day, will not do it around me, but cannot completely quit and will continue to have one from time to time. I hate cigarettes! I hate the idea of her smoking! Sometimes I'll ask her when she gets home from errands if she smoked while she was out, or when she hangs out with her friends, and she'll say yes, and it makes me mad and we end up fighting. Do i have a right to be mad? Why can't she just stop, for me? How do we get passed this? |
Question: How easy is it to get custody back? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 09:15 PM PDT the father of my child is newly in the marines. we reside in SD, California. We've not always gotten along, we have our ups and down but i try to keep it as civil as possible. Our child is 6 now. He's never paid child support or helped me with anything and has always tried to keep custody 50/50. I expected at least when he was first gone for training almost 9mo that he would send me money and nothing. When he came back he was surprisingly nice to me. He asked if i could go to court with him and sign over 1 percent more to him making it 51-49 so he could get BAH. I had my reservations about this. I said no and he asked a few times. Eventually i set some conditions and he said he'd pay for child support since he'd have more money. He got the housing he never did anything he said he would do to help and when he left on a 6mo deployment he only send 200.00 dollars. He's done quite a few irresponsible things as well. Last night was my last straw. He was extremely drunk on his weekend with our child. Which is fine if he likes to drink then so be it but not at my childs expense. He was calling me drunk all night last till 1AM trying to talk while i sleep with my fiancé. His mom calls me this morning saying he left our son there and was up since 6AM waiting for his dad to pick him up from school. I was livid. My question is can i easily take that one percent back. He is trying to threaten me and i am just done. he reaped the benefits of the military undeservingly |

Question: A question for married women over 40? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 08:51 PM PDT Specifically those in long term marriages. Do you give your husband oral? I'm not talking about part of sex. I mean just out of the blue, oral to completion. And if you did it when you were dating or newly married and don't do it now, why did you stop? And if you did stop, would you be upset if he got it from someone else? |

Question: Is trust in a marriage with question? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 07:37 PM PDT Like if you spouse doesnt let you know where theyre at or has a friend of the oppiset gender that you feel odd about, are you supposed to just trust them and accept everything they say as fact? Is that trust? |
Question: I believe my dad is cheating on my mom? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 06:56 PM PDT Trying to keep this short. The biggest proof I have is a message I saw sent from the woman I believe he is having an affair with. They were fighting in the texts and her final message was "You need to be more honest with people about the relationships you are in and be honest with your wife." Seems clean cut to me as he has been dishonest about what he has been doing the past few months and my mother and I have both suspected something ever since he said he was going to meet a friend of his and didn t want us to go. We ended up running into that very friend later in the day and he said he hadn t even heard from my dad. He has been leaving to go do things he would never normally do the past month and coming home late, usually he stays home all day and is a sleep by 9. My parents have been fighting but things had seemed to smooth over. He has been talking to this woman a lot though and I saw the msg just yesterday. Also he made a comment to me recently saying so much going through his head but he can t talk to me about it. Am I over reacting or is he cheating, any comments would be appreciated more than I can say, thank you for your time. |

Question: Can two divorced parents agree to a modification in child support outside of the court? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 06:41 PM PDT Ex wife and I divorced in June 2006 after a 4 year marriage. We had a daughter who was born in 2005 and agreed on a child support amount. In 2008 I left the military and ex wife and I wrote up a custody transfer agreement where my daughter would live with me, all child support would terminate, and my ex wife would get summers. The gist is she was newly married, he didn t want a baby around, and she chose him. This arrangement remained until 2010 when their marriage fell apart and my ex wife refused to return my daughter after their summer visit. A TN judge said the court order was law and she went with her mom. I paid the child support from that original order until last year when she called and told me she wanted to leave her fiancé and needed money to get a place for my daughter and herself. She asked me to pay $300 per month more until she could get out and I agreed. A few months back I told her I was going back to what was ordered and she stated that the receipts from the transfers showed we have a new agreement. A friend of hers, who is a judge, advised her this was enforceable in court. Tonight threats went to a new level. My question, is our present mutual agreement legal. The divorce decree is in Mississippi. She lives in Louisiana (where she is a town clerk with all sorts of legal connections) and I live in Florida. We have never lived together in Louisiana while my daughter has been alive and she was concieved in Florida. Lots of info but thank you for your time. |

Posted: 12 Sep 2016 03:37 PM PDT With the parents both being divorced and more then once does that mean it is a family tradition and his wife will divorce him? My parents always warned us divorce runs in families like addiction or obesity. My parents (our parents) are married so they are nervous about this new wife my brother will have come April who they otherwise like. Her mother is otherwise nice, haven't met the father but my brother says the father is only partly in her life and nice but not a role model (left each wife for the next). |

Question: How do I break it to the little fool? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 02:49 PM PDT The neighbor kid went and fell in love, how cute. I told him all along he was just for fun and not to get attached. How do I break it to the little fool that I am not leaving my house and meal ticket husband? Why can't a 19 year old boy just go with the sex without getting attached? |

Question: Military Marriage Question? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 01:56 PM PDT My boy friend is in the Army and is stationed about 1000 miles away, we recently have been talking about getting married and having me move down with him. He now has been asking about getting a prenup or "contract marriage" and says his reasoning is so if we ever do get divorced he won t be screwed (his exact words) I do not want to do this because I feel like that is not a real marriage and I don t want to marry someone thinking we may get divorced someday. I ve been researching more and more about these kind of marriages and it s all been horror stories and negative things. What I want to know is will I be screwed if something happens and we get divorced while having the pre nup or contract marriage? Please give me any information you can on this subject as I am pretty clueless. Thanks. |
Question: What's the point of marriage? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 01:49 PM PDT Why do you need a piece of paper to make a life commitment to somebody? Marriage is just a piece of paper. If you really loved that person, you'll stay with them, paper or no paper. |
Question: Can anyone say they honestly do not need a man? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 01:35 PM PDT some people tell me I do not need a man. I but yet they have a husband. then they should not have a husband otherwise they would be Hippocrates. who dosent need a man? Question: Should I believe my husbands ex wife? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 12:35 PM PDT My husbands ex wife and him have a son that's 8 months old. We married shortly after they divorced, but she messaged me the other day saying she has a new man she's not looking to get back with her ex husband, but something happened and they slept together and she thought I deserved to know. My husband said his ex wife has no proof, but what makes me question it is he was over at her house for three hours. He said he was seeing his son, but she says she has no reason to lie to me. Please help? |

Question: I pay all the bills and wife calls me selfish for wanting to go to school full time? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 11:58 AM PDT I have been married for almost a year and my wife and I share no kids together. I pay for the mortgage (I own the home), utilities, her $550 car payment, gas, my step kid's needs, and whatever else. She gets food stamps so we get money for food. Anyway, besides the food I've been financially supporting us both. She cooks and cleans but let's be honest and say that's not enough though I am greatful and appreciative. There's about $2400 worth of expenses. I told her I wanted to go to school for my RN and to be a CRNA. Since we've been married she hasn't been working but when we dated she was. We have a kid but don't share him together. So I've been in the spot of financially supporting them both and having to decide between school and providing for them. She called me selfish for wanting to go to school full time and her going to work 40 hours a week, paying for her car, and childcare herself. Well she should be doing that anyway so I don't understand why I'm being selfish for continuing what I said I wanted to do before we got married. She said when you get family you have to make sacrifices. Why do I have to choose between my education and her? That's not fair and I'm not going to choose to support them the rest of my life when I'm not doing anything to make my life worthwhile. I told her what I wanted to do and now it's a problem and I don't see why. She doesn't go to school or know what she wants to do so why should I not pursue my goal? I have a step kid btw that's about it. |
Posted: 12 Sep 2016 10:58 AM PDT My fiance is 63 years old, we have been together for 5 years and I am younger than him. He has only ever been with me and one other woman in his life sexually. Never married and no kids. He says he has never masturbated in his life. which I actually believe because he works about 12-16 hours a day and always has. He worked in high school didn't go to prom etc. I recently went away for 2 nights and when I came home I noticed the lube we use when we play with toys together was moved. So I asked him and he admitted that he masturbated but he said its because he hasn't had an orgasim the past couple of times we had sex (which i knew about) and wanted to see if he could. He told me he didn't. We had sex the following night and he did orgasim. I dont know if I should believe him, I am upset but I don't really think I should be I just can't help but feel upset. (I'll give you a little past history, he had prostate cancer had his prostate removed and after that he can't ejaculate but he can still have an orgasim) |
Question: My wife loves my dad more than me. Could this be dangerous? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 10:41 AM PDT My 26 year old wife is literary crazy about my 66 year old dad (but not sexually). It's very clear that she loves him more than me. She even gets jealous for him but not me. I know that her father was addicted to alcohol and was very neglected to her. But my dad loves her a lot and he is nice to her. Do you think this relationship could be dangerous? |
Question: What if I never want kids? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 10:12 AM PDT I'm married and in my mid 20s. My husband and I both want kids "someday," but we are working hard now to have the kind of life we want first. We plan to wait until we are financially secure and as stable as possible and have accomplished some things. My problem is that while I feel like I want kids "someday," I worry that I will never shift from "someday" to "let's start." What if it becomes something I'm never ready for, despite the fact that I feel like, in theory, kids would be good and something I want? We first said we will wait 3-5 years, and now that's 2-4 and that still seems to close. Has anyone else felt like this and then eventually come around to having kids? I just fear my feelings won't change and then it will be too late. I would hate to do that to my husband. |
Question: Should I get divorced? Can't deal with in laws anymore...? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 09:58 AM PDT I have 7 years married with my husband, we have 2 sons together, and I can't deal with my in laws anymore. My youngest son is 4 months old, and they talk about him so bad just cause he doesn't look like my husband I get it from everybody else that my youngest looks identical like my husband but, they hate when people says that because they swear he doesn't look like him. My oldest son looks my dad, and they also dislike him for that. My MIL literally hates my sons, and she says horrible things about them, and I can't deal with that anymore. My husband doesn't stick up for my sons or me like he should he's like scare of them, and I hate that. I feel like I have put up with enough drama already, and I have to let go, and try to be happy with my sons. My in laws are very overprotective over their sons, and they have this huge jealousy problem, their love towards their 5 sons is something weird, very obsessive. They say horrible things about me, and my MIL always tells me that she wont accept me because I took the love of her life away from her. I'm so fed up I can't with this anymore it's been 7 years of suffering :-(. To make it worst both my MIL & FIL have a drinking problem, and as soon as the alcohol hits they turn into the devil, and call my husband saying horrible things. We don't visit them at all for the past 3 months for the same reason because I told my husband that I won't visit them anymore but, they always find a way to get to us, and make our lives miserable. I don't know what to do anymore. |

Question: Why is she in a hurry to get married? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 06:10 AM PDT I'm only 21 and my girlfriend is 20. We are crazy about each other still and we want to get married someday. Recently her mother has been teasing us and asking when we are getting married. My gf started telling me what color dresses and tuxs she wants and whatnot and I'm like still in college. She's not going to school because she says she wants to be a stay at home mom. I feel like she's in a hurry to make this fantasy of hers a reality. I support her all the way but I don't know why she's in a hurry. What should I tell her? |
Question: Is my wife overeating? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 05:54 AM PDT My wife and I have busy schedules. I work night shift and shes in a day slot job with work she takes home. We have a 16 month daughter who Im at home with more than my wife because of her work obligations. So due to our work schedules our only really chill day is on Sunday. Im not a go out with the boys every weekend type of guy, I dont even do that on a monthly basis especially since we had our child. Recently, I decided after my daughter went down for a nap that I would go run some errands of getting my truck washed and getting some gas. I was gone for a total of 1hr and that was enough for my wife to bring up to me that "this is supposed to be family day" eventhough normally when she sleeps we both take a nap as well as she did while I ran errands. She wasnt upset she was "warning" me that what I did I guess can't continue. Considering everything, how would you react to this? I felt extremely disrespected and smothered. IS MY WIFE OVERREACTING? |
Question: Am I being unreasonable with my husband? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 05:09 AM PDT My husband and I have a great sex life. He has a much higher drive than I do but I love knowing I'm pleasing him so I mostly make love for his pleasure, which pleasures me. I only say this so that you understand I can easily go without sex for a long time. My husband is on a 6 month temporary placement at a new facility opening under his company's name so he is living in a motel during the week since this new location is 2+ hours away. I miss him but he's starting to drive me CRAZY asking for so many photographs of me. I trust him entirely, he's my husband, so I don't mind sending him the occasional sexy photo for him to *ahem* to, but he's asking for numerous pictures of my body and me touching myself every damn day. It's inconvenient and I get why he wants to feel close and have us touch ourselves "together" but I'm sick of it already. Am I being unreasonable to not want to send 5+ photos of me touching myself a day?? How do I talk to him about this. We have great communication but this is just different. |

Question: Does anyone else have a situation like mine? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 03:09 AM PDT So I m in a situation where, I ve been married for 12 years... I haven t been happy for most of it, but I sucked it up for my kids. My husband is very childish and selfish. If he messes up he ll turn it around and blame it on me...everything is always my fault. He never really took care of me, not even when I was pregnant, I did everything myself. And i mention divorce and he doesn t take me seriously...I really don t want to continue this anymore, I don t love him anymore...I m not even attracted to him anymore. But then I meet someone else and I love him so much (he s states away)... and when my husband found out all he could do after that is call me a whore, worthless *****, stupid slut... started blackmailing me...threating to hurt himself... and then the very next day after all that he wants to try and win me back so he asks for another chance. He s so back and forth, it s confusing. |
Question: What does my husband want? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 01:33 AM PDT I don't know why but over the last couple of weeks or shall I say months my husband acts rather strange when it's time to go to bed. He starts carressing me and then he keeps kissing me on my forehead and keeps telling me how much he loves me - when (he) thinks I've fallen asleep. He's really upset when he does it and starts pouring out all his emotions and I don't know what to do. I keep asking him if something is wrong but he doesn't budge and tells me nothing is wrong but I know he is probably lying. I try to give him as much affection when 'he' wants it but I don't know what exactly it is he wants from me. I am in my early twenties, he in is late twenties. What does he want ???????? I've tried taking to him multiple times but he doesn't tell me what's wrong. I just don't know what to do? Any wives out there experience this with their husbands? |
Question: Why does my wife keep burning my food? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 11:10 PM PDT It has been going on for 2 months now. She first blamed the stove, then her cookware, now the oil she uses to cook. I talked her but she keeps saying that she does not know what's wrong. It is so frustrating because by her just not answering she seems to be winning the conversation. I talked to her from 7pm to 11ish and she said nothing... Just kept saying that she does not know, she think her crockpot is bad. I am not usually physically abusive but every man has his limits. |
