Question: Would this wedding scenario be appropriate? Posted: 28 Sep 2016 07:56 AM PDT Would it be all right to do the following: Hold a small afternoon wedding ceremony mainly for family, with a sit-down dinner afterward ... and then hold a big reception that night for all family and friends? Would reception guests be likely to bring gifts? A video of the ceremony could be playing in one area. If this is not all considered too idiotic or insulting, how would you word the invitation? |
Question: Father/Daughter dance song for wedding? Posted: 28 Sep 2016 07:27 AM PDT I'm getting married in two weeks and haven't picked a song for my dance with my dad. I didn't put a whole lot of thought into it, since I didn't think he'd be able to make it. (He's in the military). He called me yesterday and said he's able to be there!!! Unlike a lot of my friends, I was never close with my dad, but that was only because he was on active duty all the time, and I wasn't able to see him. The fact that he's able to come means the world to me :) But I have no idea about a song for the dance. Any suggestions? I absolutely LOVE Butterfly Kisses, but I've been to quite a few weddings this year that have used that song too, so maybe something different? Thanks! |
Question: Why do couples look alike? Posted: 28 Sep 2016 07:19 AM PDT Now I had seen couples who look alike. But for me I had never been attracted to someone who looks like me, my father and mom look different, my mothers side of the family married couples all look different including my grandparents who are even from different races. But in my father's family side A LOT of couples look alike even more my grandparents who have the same features and look like siblings. Why is this ? |
