Question: I'm feeling kind of pathetic about an ex? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 02:15 PM PDT It's been over a year and a half since I stopped seeing my ex. The breakup wasn't horrible, but it wasn't amicable either. There has been no contact between us since then, other than the occasional seeing one another in public, where we have more or less ignored each other. Unfortunately, I still think about her frequently. Not because I still have feelings for her or anything. More because she was the last person I dated, and the most recent context I have for anything relationship related. Yesterday I had to go into the place where she works. She's a pharmacy tech, and I needed something for a head cold and hers was the only pharmacy open. Of course she was working and the one who waited on me. The transaction was awkward, and I could sense she felt as uncomfortable as me. To the extent I could I just acted like I didn't even know her. She did ask one personal question, "How have you been". To which I replied, "Fine, just working a lot". I did not ask her anything in return. Since this happened yesterday, I have been fighting back the urge to contact her in some way. This would require unblocking her on Facebook, or finding her cell number in a phone backup. I know I won't actually go through with it, but the temptation is still there. I know part of the reason she is still on my mind is because I haven't dated anyone since her, and haven't even tried to do so. The reason I have stopped dating is not specifically because of her, but because the experience was kind of the last straw in a string of bad experiences. The question is if anyone has any advice for finally putting her out of my mind. |

Question: I Lied About Being Pregnant? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 12:43 PM PDT Ok so me and this guy has been dating for a couple of months until we got into a huge argument that broke us up . It was lack of communication because he's going through some things with his siblings . Like trying to get full custody of them but he's a ex felon and needs a job. I lied about being pregnant to get us back together and it worked until I said I'm Miscarriaging and he wanted to see proof and I couldn't provide proof and he calls me to say he never wants to talk to me again and then upload a post on Facebook how bitches who fake pregnancy are pathetic *****. That really hurts me but he always take stuff to Facebook . I know I lied about being pregnant, it was wrong but I did so much for him . I stay 2 hours away from , and I drive to see him every week . Bought rooms, bought him cigarettes, food, his siblings and a few clothes . We was even about to move in together next month and I was gonna pay for it .so we can work on getting custody of his siblings but since I lied, I'm this BAD HORRIBLE PERSON when all I wanted was us to be together so his siblings won't go into foster care... & he had an ex that had abortion with his consent and I'm trying to figure out how is that OK ? But me lying about a non existent baby isn't ? Idk....but it's like he wasn't even trying to look for a job so I'm kinda happy I wasn't pregnant....I need advice |
Posted: 12 Sep 2016 10:59 AM PDT Okay.. So when my sister was 13 she has consensual sex with a 40 year old.. Even though it was consensual, the man was 40 years old, told her he loved her and they had sex until she was 15 when my parents found out. They pressed charges but nothing really came Of it... Now.. 16 years later she has started talking to him again... But now she has 3 children and Now she s talking about being attached to him Again. I don t really know what to say.. I know it s not normal for a 40 year old man to be attracted to a 13 year old but she doesn t see it like that. She s sees it as they were in love. But now I don t know what to say to her. Should I confront her because I def don t want her to bring her kids around him.. But again, she doesn t see him as a pedo.. What should I do? |
Question: Married boss...is he flirting or being nice? (PLEASE ANSWER)? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 10:10 AM PDT So I've worked with him for almost 3 years. I'm around his age and female. But he does things I'm.not sure whether to take as he likes me or just being nice? First, he brings me or has his friends bring me food saying its from him. Then, he found out I was friends with another male coworker and he fired the guy and told him to leave me alone, not to contact me, to stay away from me. But, I'm thinking maybe that was because he was a coworker. Another important note, he is married. One time his wife called me saying that he had been telling her how I loved this certain food and they were going to bring me some. But, this was the first time I had ever spoken to her but she acted like my best friend. And just the other day I was at their office and he hollars at me from another room saying they had food there if I wanted some. But I refused and then his business partner says sarcastically, but its your favorite kind of food. I'm assuming he meant either because it was free or because it was from my boss. I'm not sure. So maybe you guys can help me figure out what's going on because I've never seen him do this with other worker |
Question: I really want to get close to that guy please help me? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 10:02 AM PDT we were together in some classes with this guy at my school last year and the year before. We've never talked really much. Whenever we talked he was the one who would start to talk to me because I'm generally shy and I was never the one to approach anyone first. The thing is that last year I had grown a really small liking towards him that caused me to be nervous when he was around and it resulted in me avoiding him which he realized. Since then he never talked to me first again because he thought I had something wrong with him. After I realized how he understood it i really regretted avoiding him so I tried approaching him two three times here and there (not much though since I'm shy, just enough for him to understand that I have nothing wrong with him). the thing is that this year we're together at more classes and he is also sitting near me so I think that this is my chance to clear myself up to him and try to be friends with him since I'd really like to get close to him. The thing is that I have to get close to him as soon as possible also because he lives near my house so since my parents are at work when I'm at school they can't pick me up right after school so I have to ask him if his mom can pick me also up from school. Right now I can't as we are not even friends. But I need tips on how to grow close to him in the next few weeks so that i can ask him about that and also because i kinda want to make him like me. Please no mean comments. Your advice will be appreciated |

Question: Which apology sounds more sincere and genuine? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 08:20 AM PDT "Im only texting you to let you know that I feel really bad about disrespecting you and crossing your boundaries. I'm not apologizing to get something out of you, but because i know what i did was selfish and impolite. I respect you, and i respect your boundaries and I promise I won't cross them again. I also promise to leave you alone. I hope life treats you well" "Hey I wanted to apologizing for not respecting your boundaries and trying to push you to change your mind about something you clearly didn't want and that was wrong. I acted on emotion and hope you understand and I hope things go well for you" I'm trying to apologize to the guy I liked for disrespecting him when he made clear he wasn't interested in something & I tried getting him to change his mind. He got mad about, lashed out and told me not to text him again.. I did anyways cause I also got mad & told him I won't ever text him again and I've been feeling really bad about the whole thing., and felt like I owed him an apology so which one do you think is more sincere and mature |
Question: Should I send him this apology text? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 06:37 AM PDT "I'm only texting you to let you know that I feel really bad about disrespecting you and crossing your boundaries. I'm not apolozing to get something out of you, but because I know what I did was selfish and impolite. I respect you and I respect your boundaries and I promise I won't cross them again. I also promise to leave you alone, and I hope things go well for you" I wanted to apology to the guy that I liked for disrespecting his feelings and his boundaries. I told me he wasn't interested in a long distance relationship and I got selfish and thought maybe I could change his mind but he got mad & told me not to text him again, but I did anyways because I also got mad & after awhile I realized that I felt bad and felt like I owe him apology and I'm curious if it sounds sincere and genuine because I at least want to make him think I was mature enough to apologize |

Question: What is wrong with these people? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 02:14 AM PDT These people tries to do something to you and you report it, they accuse you of 'running your mouth' and them and their friends tried to come after you. These people if they see you report something unsafe, hazardous they will peg you a fed and spread the word, everybody including them will shun you and hate you. These people holds clandestine meetings and they seem to share a lot of secrets. What is wrong with these people? Why are they like this? |
Question: Girls staring at me when I'm ugly? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 12:36 AM PDT Okay so I have been called ugly before and I've caught a few girls staring at me. Why is this? I know I'm not attractive so why would they stare me at me? More than 3 times almost all of them. I'm confused |

Question: How do I confront someone who's stolen from me? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 11:53 PM PDT I thought I lost my sephora gift card of $75 so I literally tore the house apart, asked everyone if they saw it, and even accused my sister of taking it (she's taken from me before) so I just went to the store to see if they could track it because I had used part of it before. They said it was no problem they could track it and give me a new card but when they tracked it they saw it had all been spent on one trip. They were able to show me what was purchased and when and obviously wasn't me. They were able to show me the name of the person since the cashier tried to search up her rewards account but the person didn't even have one. Bottom line, that person is my mom's tenant who also cleans the house a couple times a month. I know for sure now she stole it from my room and have proof but how can my mom/we tell her we know she stole and that we want the money back? She's already getting kicked out because she hasn't paid rent in months but I want to make sure she doesn't get away with it (like she has with other stuff like not paying, taking my dad's tools, etc.) |

Or expect to start talking to him, I just wanted him to that I was sorry for offending him. I'm not usually good with my words and don't want to make him anymore aggravated |
Question: My roomate is constantly touching his junk? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 10:40 PM PDT This makes me uncomfortable.. he's like a brother to me. Should I tell him to stop? The reason I haven't is because it's his house (his family owns it). I don't want to not have him be himself.. I just don't like it when he does that in my presence. How do I confront this appropriately? |

Question: How to not feel intimidated my older, bossy people? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 09:24 PM PDT I'm 17 and I'm just trying to be more outgoing and like, act more independent I guess. Sometimes I get the courage then feel so inferior once someone's like idk how to describe it just becomes all bossy or questions me. The fact that their older probably gives them the authority but I feel like a tiny stud. Like for example I fear having to talk to my guidance counselor because every time I have the confidence to discuss what I want to do it's like she brings me down. I'm not sure how to describe it but any advice lol? Thanks 😘 |
Question: Why am I so emotional? I wanna let myself feel good but somethings definitely wrong.? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 08:27 PM PDT My dad's a toxic person but I have to see him everyday. Do I hate him no but I'm tired of his pointless yelling everyday, I think he may be mentally ill he's just a fake person, his family disowned me. I don't have a family through my mom's side. I'm an only child. I just don't care about myself anymore. At school, the counselors can't do ****, the teachers are just doing their jobs. I fell in love with a 21 yr old woman but she's a mess & I know I deserve better so I'm out of there even though it hurts me & I want to cry I'm just the other guy & her bf is a jerk. I'm more mature than my friends I can't help them they don't want to help themselves. I don't care about myself. I'm focused for 6-8 hrs at school, I'm hopeful for an hour or two at home by the time my dad arrives I just give up. I start remembering being bullied as a kid & I tell myself the only way out is suicide but I know not to do that because it's only more pointless than my life already is. My parents just live together there's no relationship nor do I care about it. I'm just trying to survive another day in Chicago & escape the city. I've made some arrangements but my school won't support me neither does my mom because she's broke. I don't see a light at the end of this tunnel. I'm dead |

Question: My 18 year old wants to stay over her boyfriends house ?!? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 07:09 PM PDT Okay, my 18 year old daughter is in high school still. She's a senior. And the other day, she was at her boyfriends house, and called me and said "hey mom I'm going to stay here for the night. Because I'm to tired to drive home". I panicked for a couple of seconds. But said "okay I'll see you tomorrow". And a week passed, and now she asked if she could stay the weekend at her boyfriends house ! And now I do not know what to say. She's a good kid. She's on birth control. And she's been with this boy for two years, he lives with his mom. And I know her very well. But still, would you let your 18 year old stay the night at her boyfriends for a weekend ? Or is that over doing it? I'm glad she asked instead of just going and doing it. But what's your opinions? |

Question: Can a 16 Y/O girl be FRIENDS with a guy in his 30s? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 06:17 PM PDT He is the asst. coach on a team i play for, and i added him on snapchat, and vice versa. we text/snap all the time about random things, and he calls me pretty and beautiful and funny occasionally. Some time ago he said that he liked me, that we were friends. But we never see each other outside practices or meets. I wanna know if this is like an OK relationship, or if i should be worried about anything happening. He has a 20 y/o girlfriend, and it was against our team's policy to add me on snapchat. so yeah IDEK. |
Question: I'm 18 and I feel behind everybody else in life? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 05:26 PM PDT I just turned 18 about a week ago. The worst summer (and time of my life) has left me feeling hopeless, pathetic, and way behind everybody else. Everyone seems to have a girlfriend, a job, and most importantly, a good life. I don't have a job or a girlfriend, and I never have. The girl I love actually wanted to be with me, but I blew it and she's with somebody else.. at least for now. This happens every time. I don't know what the future holds for us. It doesn't seem like she's done with me but as of right now she is. What hurts the most is that I had her and I let it slip away. It also seems like everybody my age (and most younger) have jobs already. I've never tried to get a job. I don't know where to start, but now that I finally have my license, I want to. I have to try and find something that works with my college schedule. I feel pathetic. Can any of you give me some advice? I know I probably sound ridiculous, but I'm very confused and sad. The last few years and this summer in particular have kicked the living **** out of me and it doesn't seem like things are going to get any better any time soon. Thanks. There are a lot of things I didn't say that I don't want to say too. It's not just these two things, but right now they are what's killing me. |
Question: Really confused...I try so much and he just does not seem to notice? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 05:22 PM PDT My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 1/2 years. (he is 28 and I am 25)....he was amazing the first couple months and after his true colors came out. Anyways, he has always had a fantasy of having a 3some. I am not comfortable with doing that and he told me I had to do it. He made me ask my friend but last minute I cancelled on her and instead got a stripper to come do a private show for us so I can even see if I am comfortable. HE MADE me send her home and said I am a liar (I told him I cancelled with my friend and brought someone else so I can see how comfortable we both are. I had a few drinks as well and he basically told me to get out of his house and go home (knowing I can not drive) he calls me a liar now and says I did not try at all when I did because that was huge step for me. He went to seattle lied about being with another girl and I let it go, he has hit me I let it go, he has verbally insulted me I let it go. Why is he like this? He breaks up wtih me and gets back together whenever he wants. i TRIED and he won't even give me credit where credit is due Please someone give me some advice.... |
Posted: 11 Sep 2016 05:07 PM PDT A female coworker and I work on projects together at work. At the end of one project she told me "you are the best" and at the end of another she asked me if I could get done with my part of the project before she left for vacation. I told her it will be done before you leave. Her response was "you are the greatest!!!" Does she like me? Based on those responses I think there might be some feelings there. Am I wrong? |

Question: Today someone close to me emotionally devastated me. Do I confront them? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 03:16 PM PDT I mean I was reduced me to a sniveling, weeping mass of blubber. I felt more emotional pain than I have in years combined. The thing is nothing bad was done. No lies were told, no promises broken. I was eager for something and not only was that eagerness not returned it was blatantly disregarded. I want to call and confront them but I can't do that with out causing guilt. I don't believe they deserve guilt since there was no wrong doing. I have already missed a big event because I was so upset and I don't want that to happen again. We are not an emotional family and do not normally share our deep feelings. How do I handle this? Do I call and confront them or do I ignore all the feelings I have? I need honest opinions. What is the "mature" route to take? |
Posted: 11 Sep 2016 01:06 PM PDT I've heard stories about kids 8 and younger watching porn on their computers. The people in the stories always mention how they talk to their kids about what they saw, which is good, but they never discourage them from watching. Why? P.S. - Before anyone gets upset, I'm not telling anyone how to raise their kids. I'm just asking a question to better understand the mindset behind these parents. So please, no insults or spam please. This is a website to ask questions and that is what I am doing. |
Question: Why are people concerned about my boyfriend and I never having a fight? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 10:33 AM PDT I mean sure we have gotten mad at each other but we don't argue. Ever. We're always happy and we want this relationship argre free. I mean I hate fighting with my boyfriend. My friends are concerned to think that something is wrong because we never ever had a fight. One guy said, "You guys NEVER had a fight? Come on. You gotta argue sometimes. If you guys never argue in a relationship, then it's not REALLY a relationship." I always agree with my boyfriend well not all the time but I always agree to make him happy. Even that shirt that looked scrappy I told him it looks so goodm but what I don't understand is that he got very angry at me and he can tell that I'm lying. Then I told him it sucked. Then he said, "WHY didn't you just tell me that in the first place? Don't try to protect my feeling. I want the TRUTH no matter how painful it is." My dad told me that life would be so BORING if we agreed with everything. My mom said the best part is making up. My parents have a lot of fights but they're still in love. My boyfriend is getting annoyed with me because I'm always agreeing with him and he told me that we have have had a disagreement and we need to have a disagreement sometime. I told him I don't like arguing and I want us to be happy with no problems in life. He told me, "Yes but someone agreeing all the time is telling me that they are hiding their opinion and lying. I wanna hear YOUR opinion. STOP AGREEING WITH ME ALL THE TIME." Even my best friend told me that it's normal for couoles to have arguments and its actually pretty healthy. You guys need to learn to fight and solve problems and the best thing is making up. She's been with her man for 4 years. They've had fights but still lovey dovey. My boyfriend have only been together for 7 months. He argued that I keep agreeing and might threatened to breaking up with me if I don't start being honest with him. He can't be serious can he? |
