Question: Should I go with the theme of the wedding or dress how I want? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 09:56 PM PDT So I got a wedding to attend with my girlfriend who happens to be one of the bridesmaids. Anywho, the theme is said to be more of a western/country type theme. Just to help paint a better picture, the groomsmen are supposed to be wearing jeans, a vest, and boots. Given, I don t care what other people wear, but I do like to look nice and dress up. To me a wedding is a formal event that would require at least a suit. I would like to make a good impression since I m not very close to my girlfriends family but I just don t know which way to go about the situation. |
Question: Would it be crazy for me to ask my fiancé to see pictures from his previous marriage? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 09:14 PM PDT Several weeks ago, my fiancé admitted to having a box full of wedding invitations and trinkets, along with a disc full of wedding photos from his previous marriage. Even though it made me feel uncomfortable and insecure, I know that he loves me. However, for some unknown reason, I would like to see the photos on the disc. Is this crazy of me? If not, how should I approach the situation? |

Question: I'm planning my wedding, but I can't decide what I want my sister to do in it...? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 06:55 PM PDT At this moment in time I'm thinking I want her to help our dad walk me down the aisle, but I keep thinking I want her to have a bigger part. She's only 6 (she will be 8 when I get married) so I feel like she may be too young to be a bridesmaid. I also already have a flower girl so I don't want her doing that. Any ideas on how I can incorporate her more? Thank you. |
Question: Would it be weird if I got married on the death anniversary of my mother? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 06:43 PM PDT That being said, my fiance and I have been together way too long to not already be married (15 years!!). We finally decided to get married early next year, Spring time. We thought it would be cool to have our wedding on our anniversary day as well which is in April. However, the day we started to date is the same day of my mother's death anniversary. My mother passed when I was two & I don't remember anything about her, however I have 5 older sisters & 1 older brother that do remember her well not to mention my father. Do you think this will be weird/bad/sad? They are aware that this day is also my anniversary. Sorry, not a troll. This is a honest question, that is why I am asking. |
Question: Can i get married in 2 different countries? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 05:03 PM PDT I have my fiancé em brazil, her family wants to see the wedding so can she get a fiances visa for the US we get married there legally by Brazilian law and then she comes back here on a finances visa and we get legally married by The united states law? |
Question: What do you think about not having a Maid of Honor and have all Bridesmaids? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 02:19 PM PDT I'm having a hard time deciding on one person as my Maid Of Honor! I have 3 sisters and 3 friends I am asking to be in my wedding. What exactly does the MOH do? And is it necessary to have one? Could they all take part in the duties of a MOH? All of them have very busy lives themselves, ones planning her own wedding, one is in nursing school, three live far away and one actually lives in town. So idk I'm just on the fence about it and need help deciding because I don't know what to do. |

Question: What gift is good for a bridal shower? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 07:50 AM PDT My friends bridal shower is today and I've been on tight schedule with work and school. It's going to be at the house and she doesn't have a registry. Also, after she is married she will be still living with her parents for a while until her and husband find a home. So I don't think a house gift is necessary... What do you all think? |
Question: Need a wedding hashtag. Can you help me with some interesting ideas? Posted: 11 Sep 2016 05:08 AM PDT My fiancé is nice but has serious limp. I'm very eager to get married and have a traditional wedding but if he's limping down the aisle that's a bit embarrassing. Anyway, what's a wedding hashtag we can use? Our names are Electra and Theddy. |
