Question: How do I deal with a friend who is passive aggressively bullying another friend? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 05:42 PM PDT "Friend A" has recently started forcing "Friend B" out of our friend group. "A" has been passive aggressively rolling her eyes and making mean comments at everything "B" says, and as soon as "B" leaves the room she badmouths her to the rest of our friends. This afternoon "A" told another one of my friends and I that she and a different friend planned to tell "B" that she had to "shove raisins up her noes if she still wanted to be friends with us." The other girl and I shared a shocked look, but we just nodded and laughed at her plan. But secretly I thought that if "A" says that to "B" I want to stick with "B" and leave our friend group entirely since I know the rest of the group will stick with "A" in fear of being kicked out too. The only problem with that plan is that "B" is moving in a month (she's only told me and a few other people), and once she is gone I won't have many other friends since I mostly hang out with people from the friend group I'm in. "A" and I have been friends for five years while "B" and I have only been friends for two, but lately I have noticed that "A" exhibits this passive aggressive behavior with other people too and I'm starting to see her for the mean girl she is. I really don't want to lose all my friends who I've known for years, but if they just stand by and watch while "A" does things like this to "B" and other people I'm not sure I can be friends with them. What should I do? |
Question: Tired of being upset? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 05:42 PM PDT One week ago at work, I was mad at a couple coworkers for not doing their job (not a big deal but I was already irritated). I accidentally ranted about it to my supervisors and somewhere along the way snitched on one of my supervisors good friends (mind you, this is a summer job and we re all 16-22). My all-time favorite supervisor (who I looked up to, and still do, so much) was friends with the guy I snitched on and was being a ***** to me the rest of the day. I am the type of person to be bothered by this for a long time and I am very tired at being so upset at myself/the situation. Typically, I would just talk to my supervisor about it but because the season ended, I will not see her until December. So what can I do to stop being upset? I was one of her favorites (as much as they claim to not have favorites) and I hate the thought that she will hate me forever. How can I fix the situation/quit being upset? I don t know what to do. |
Question: What to get my best friend for her 19th birthday? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 05:40 PM PDT My best friend is turning 19 soon and i don't know what to get her. here's a little detail about. she loves reading books especially english literature. she's obsessed with avocados and always eating them. she loves to party and is a party animal and she also loves getting with guys ( i always joke with her that shes a slut and she doesnt mind cause i dont judge her) so what can i get hr or do for her for her 19th. also she lives in canada so the drinking age is 18 |
Question: I'm so absented minded, it's ridiculous.? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 05:40 PM PDT I could be eating something and within 30 minutes, I could completely forget what the hell I was eating. I constantly lose my phone(even if its just in the house), keys, and etc. This summer I lost my phone 5 times outside(thankfully I was able to find it). This one time, I went on a roller coaster ride with a friend. I was explaining to my friend that we should go on this one ride and how fun it is. We were just on that roller coaster just five minutes ago, and I was talking about the coaster as if we hadn't gone on it yet. I'm so terrible with names, there was this one time I forgot a friend's name and just put the word "guy" as him for my contacts list. And this went on for months until he found out near the end of the school year. I was so embarrassed, I hate how absent minded I am. I constantly forget what I planned on saying during mid sentence. Sometimes when I'm out searching for something and I wouldn't notice I am staring right at the item I am looking for. I'm not dumb, I actually learn pretty quickly. It only a matter of how well I remember the material the next day. I constantly embarrass myself. Please, can someone give some tips on how to be less absentminded. |

Question: Question for the girls, unraveling the female mind!? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 05:20 PM PDT Question for the girls, unraveling the female mind! Girls if they go dancing with her friends and to get to the place they meet me lying in the doorway, face up, blindfolded, with a sign saying "Clean your shoes / slippers in my free" and seen in my body several brands of footsteps ... PS: As extra data tell them I'm a physically ugly, antisocial and shy person. 1) What would you do? 2) What feelings awaken you to believe that situation? 3) If they say that in that place instead of my units could be, or cloth, or that might stay there, units that prefiririan? 4) friends? Thanks for your answers |
Posted: 12 Sep 2016 05:08 PM PDT Yesterday, I received some really mean texts from my friends. They said I did something mean, but they wouldn't tell me what. I tried to call one of them, and I left a voicemail asking them to talk. I got a call a few minutes later saying that if I was going to be rude about something (which I wasn't, they just took it as rude), I'd better know what it was. She flat-out admitted she knew that I didn't know what happened, and then continued to insist that I knew what I did. I calmed down, and sent them a text saying that if they couldn't be mature and would continue to hurt me for no reason, then I wouldn't be their friend. An hour later, I got several blocked voicemails of them crying and stuff. The next day, I confronted them about it, and it turns out, they were angry because I had been 'rude' and 'mean' to them the last few weeks. I was not, and they claimed this because they didn't like my sarcastic comments, which were intended to be a joke. They insisted it was my fault, and one went as far to use her dying grandma as an excuse for her behavior. Also, the day before they had come over to talk to me when I was not home, so my mom answered the door. They refused to tell me why they resorted to mean texts instead of talking to me when I got home. At school, both of them kept insisting it was my fault. Soon, I had enough. I'm really hurt because they were close friends, and I don't know what to do now. Has anybody been through a situation like this and has any advice? |

Question: How can I make friends? ( please read )? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 04:57 PM PDT I swear there is no one else like me on this earth. I'm tired of not having friends. I haven't had any friends in FIVE YEARS ( because I had to transfer to a new school and make new friends ) The biggest problem is my SHYNESS! It's my 3rd day at school and all summer I was determined to make some friends. I looked up guides, videos, even Yahoo Answers just to find a way to stop being shy and make friends. It DIDN'T work. I was super mad at myself but not only that I was super upset because I don't want it to be a repeat from last year where I was alone! At lunch, I have NO ONE to talk to. This girl came in today when she was here last year and now we have the same lunch and everyone just wants to talk to her and not me!! I am so sick and tired of this! I hate her but I know that is just because I'm jealous of her. She is pretty and got a lot of friends. This whole not having friends thing is making me super depressed I'm not even kidding. I wanna switch schools so badly to get a fresh start like right now but I can't find any good schools around me. I can't DARE to tell my parents what's going on. The first 2 days of school I came home super depressed and they think I'm getting bullied or something ( which I'm not ) and they constantly want to know what's going on and I just can't tell them. I know this is a lot to read but please help me :( how can I make friends?! |
Question: My friend saw my penis!! How do I talk to him now? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 04:49 PM PDT I'm in 8th grade and my friend Zachary has a pool at his house. After the pool we went inside his house to change and shower. I showered last. I forgot to grab a towel and when I asked for one I opened the door a little to grab the towel and I think my friend saw my Penis! And to make things even worse when I went back in his room a dropped my towel and he saw it again and I have a small penis, but this time he definitely saw it!! I don't know how to talk to him tommorow |
Question: What does the hand of friendship mean? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 04:40 PM PDT |
Posted: 12 Sep 2016 04:35 PM PDT I am 16-years-old and there is this girl that is my grade. We had the same class year for 1 semester and I never talked to her. I always told myself I would but I was too big of a chicken and I never talked to her. She always kept to herself I never really see her with anyone. I see her in the hall sometimes and we don't have any classes together this term. I would really like to be able to talk to her. But now that we don't have any classes together I don't know how to talk to her. My parents are leaving town for the weekend and I am already have some of my friends come over this weekend to hangout. I was thinking about inviting a few more and inviting her to my house. I don't know if that would be weird if I just walked up to her said "I am having a little party and you should come." Since I have never said a word to her. There is obviously going to be drinking. So should I do that? I know people are going to say "Don't throw a party at your house." There is going to be a max of 10 people and I am willing to clean stuff up if something happens and there isn't really anything to be stolen that I can't lock away. |
Posted: 12 Sep 2016 04:24 PM PDT I heard that one of my classmates was offering to do senior pictures so I sent him a message asking if he would do mine. Through text we arranged a time and meeting place and everything, but the place we agreed on requires us to walk 15-20 minutes to get there. It may sound stupid, but I'm a really awkward person and I don't want to have nothing to talk about or seem like a boring person. What do you use for conversation starters or to keep a conversation going if you don't know the person very well? |
Question: How to make friends? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 04:18 PM PDT I'm very bad at making friends, they always end up thinking I'm weird or the like. What to di? Help! |
Question: Am I being too mean? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 04:11 PM PDT I realized recently I may be being too mean or conceited. 1. I like to make fun of my friends, as a joke of course, I actually love all of them and think they're all wonderful but I like to never waste an opportunity to tease them. First, it gets a good laugh from both them and me, and second, it gives birth to an engaging conversation. I've noticed though When I make fun of them now they take it seriously. I try passing some hints whenever to show them that it's just a joke and I think they're pretty chill. But now whenever I even try to ask a neutral question, they seem to take it as something mean (ex. What's your phone wallpaper? And they'll act sort of annoyed when I ask that, or not have a positive or neutral tone to their voice) 2. At our school kids are only allowed to sit in the same table as their class. I set my lunchbox at my seat and went to the microwave, and when I get back a kid is sitting in my seat. he's not in our class, but kids switch tables all the time to be with their friends. The kid is talking to his friends and I ask him to scoot one chair over so I can have my seat and he gives me a very solid "no". My friend says just to tell on him so I do, and the teacher forced him to move to his own table. When he gets up, he calls me a snitch under his breath. Should I have told on him? Should I have insisted more firmly and warned him I would tell the teacher? so what do you think? Am I being mean or just overthinking things? What can I do to be nicer? |
Question: If you had a pair of shorts or pants with a broken zipper, would you still wear them? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 04:10 PM PDT I have a pair a blue jean shorts that I love wearing. But a few days ago the zipper broke now it's only on one side. But I still want to wear them around the house and to school and to the store and stuff, should I? They're my favorite pair of shorts and it costs too much money to get a new zipper put in and idk how to do it myself. So if you had a pair of shorts or pants with a broken zipper, would you still wear them? And has this happen to you? |

Question: I don t want to go to homecoming but already have a ticket and told friends I was going? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 04:04 PM PDT So I have about 3 real friends, and I didn t go to homecoming last year because I wanted to hangout with one of my friends instead. I bought my ticket last week and then found out one of my friends isn t going, one of my friends is going to an NFL game right before and wont be able to make it to pictures, and one of my friends is going in her sister homecoming group because their dates are friends. The group I told I would go with is not doing pictures with my one friend and I honestly don t like them very much, but they sit at my lunch table so I guess we re supposed to be friends (I hate that and it drives me insane, but no one knows this). I thought about asking my one friend if I could do pictures with her, but all of the people in that group have a date and I do not and I do not know some of the people in that group. Now I am considering faking sick the day of homecoming, since I don t have a dress yet and the ticket was only $35. I don t know what to do. Is this rude of me? Homecoming is Sunday so please help. |
Question: My Friends Make Me Feel Left Out? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 03:57 PM PDT My friends, let's call them Pasta and Salad, treat me like crap. I've been friends with Pasta for a while now and she says that I'm her best friend, but it really doesn't feel like it, she has so many other friends that she's closer with and who she seems to like more, and we've never done any best friend things together, we barely hang out besides at school. And Salad has a best friend and they both have friends who I'm not close with. Whenever they talk around me it's always about something they did together or with other people and I'm never invited anywhere. Whenever I try to make plans with them they blow me off. It just feels like they don't care about me. And my birthday's tomorrow and none of my friends are spending any time with me, I don't make a big deal about birthdays but they could at least try to make me feel happy on ,y birthday, right? What can I do to make my situation better? |
Question: I don't get it, Why aren't I in Honor Classes? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 03:51 PM PDT Ok. I've searched up every possible way to get into Honor classes and I don't know why I'm not in them. I mean, I speak up during class I pay attention, I do my work, and I pass my classes with at least a B+ average. My best friend, she's in Honor classes and she doesn't do anything. She never studies or anything and I know she doesn't cause she's always posting stuff on Instagram when she's hanging out with her friends and stuff and I'm sitting here sitting at home studying for a quiz we have tomorrow. She doesn't even try as much as I do and she could care less about school and she doesn't do anything. It annoys the hell out of me cause her Mother always makes sure she in the best of everything and I have to stick up for myself and keep up with my own stuff while my parents are focusing on paying the bills cause my mother moved to the U.S about 10+ years ago and she doesn't understand the educational regions of everything. My Father doesn't do anything cause he's barely home.. and My older sister is in college becoming a nurse in the Air Force and she's focusing on her own stuff and I have to keep up with my stuff. its so annoying to see your own best friend be better than you when you're trying your hardest and she's not doing jack. Please just give me some advice that would really help. And I passed my due date for changing my schedule so I at least want to get into Honor Classes or something cause I feel like Im a failure in life and I'm not gonna have a future |
Posted: 12 Sep 2016 03:51 PM PDT All my life I've been physically and emotionally abused. And nowadays... Every single one of my friends are bullies and half enjoy hitting me and getting physical. Just like my parents and everyone I've ever lived with. I just realized this scary stuff and I seriously tolerated it for so long. I space out and only look at the good. I ignore the bullying and mean words. All this time I thought I was smart and cool. Popular and amazing. I was all wrong. Something has to be wrong with me. I'm seeking help for depression. Will see my doc soon, but until this issue is solved I geuss it's best to not make new friends. I mean... I seriously attract bullies if every one of my friends fight and push me around. The good ones are rare but seem to dissapear. I just don't understand it... |
Posted: 12 Sep 2016 03:26 PM PDT So I have a friend and she's super nice, funny and basically anything else a great friend would have. But there's only one problem: she lies a lot. I think it's just because she tries to sound really great and all like for example the other day she lied about her grades, then she lied about her past like she said a year ago that she used to get bullied but then the other day she said that she used to have a lot of people who used to escort her everywhere. |
Question: How do I make a friend a best friend in this situation? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 03:26 PM PDT In 8th grade I started to become good friends with" E" and "K". We also had another friend "R" who we only hung out with at school. "E" and "K" are Best friends and have been for a long time. When I was with them I was like a 3 wheel best friend. Like I am there as a second option. Now that we started high school, "E" started to distance herself from the both of us and I saying all this stuff about her being BFFS with "R" now and a girl Named "C". My friend "K" and I and now hanging out but it's awkward between us because she only talks about her and "E". I feel so bad because E"" is distancing herself away from "K" which is her best friend. How do I become closer, and a better best friend to "K"? |
Posted: 12 Sep 2016 03:14 PM PDT So I moved to a new school about a year ago and I've barely made any friends. Everyone thinks I'm quiet. I used to be fun now I'm nervous all the time. I just missed out on the biggest football game because I was scared I wouldn't have anybody to talk to. I can't get a girlfriend because they think I'm lame or too nice. My mom just called me lame today. Everyday I tell myself I'm going to make friends the next day but I always stay quiet. I always run out of things to say so nobody really talks to me or texts me. Can somebody help me because I'm getting stressed out cause I can't make any friends. Any way I can start making a good conversation? Thanks |

Question: What to talk about with my roommate? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 03:01 PM PDT So I moved into my dorm 5 days ago and that's when I met my roommate. We're very nice to each other but conversation doesn't flow sometimes. I have to think of things to say and that awkward silence kills me. Any advice? |
Question: Should I go to school on my Birthday? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 02:55 PM PDT Tomorrow is my birthday, and I've been thinking if I should stay home. My mom doesn't mind, but it's one thing that keep making me change my mind. My best friend literally has something for me on my birthday, and she is begging me to go to school. I have a small group of friends and acquaintances, they're very loyal. But the thing is that I don't want to go to school because of a day just being normal instead of a actual fun day. I'm afraid I will have at least one comment that will include "no one cares". Should I really go to school on my birthday? |
Question: What does it mean when your friend says I see how it is mean? Question: I'm a friend who can't keep secrets ?! :(? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 02:38 PM PDT I've been noticing recently that when my friends tell me things, or when I find out things concerning them, I don't think much of it and tell other people. Now, I don't purposefully seek out people to tell this too, but if a related topic comes up in the conversation, I'll insert it without thinking twice. Now, I feel like I've actually hurt my friends by forcing them into situations that would've otherwise been private. I feel like they don't trust me as much. I really, really don't want to be that friend that no one tells anything to because they can't trust them. How would you suggest I fix this? Strategies to mind my own business and keep my mouth shut? Thanks :) |
Question: How to start talking to a friend again after drifting away for a while? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 02:33 PM PDT So I am friends with this guy (who I honestly think I kind of like but it s complicated so I don t know). Anyways, I knew who he was before we became friends, then when we got to high school we became really good friends, and I could honestly say he was one of my best friends and was there for me when my other friends weren t. But then towards the end of the year he got close to this other girl who I m still on the fence about and they keep me of had a thing, then that s when he started to forget about me and focus on her. After I noticed that I texted him a few times asking if I had done something to cause him to stop talking to me. He d say that it was summer and he doesn t usually keep close contact with friends over the summer because he s busy, and that he may be focusing on "someone" but that doesn t mean we won t still be friends when school starts again. School has now started and we haven t talked, but just looked at each other, and we both know something is up but can t seem to talk, and I totally would but the other girl is always around and she s stereotypical popular girl who is pretty and kind of mean and hangs out with any guy she can get. Long question, yes but thank you for reading this far...so how do I get my friend back? |
Question: I lost 2 friendships...? :(? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 02:32 PM PDT I have so many close online friends and I got into a fight with one of them who we'll call B, because she did something horrible to me and always was two-faced. I ignored her then she got pissed and brought in our other online friend, we'll call her Z. (we're all friends by the way). Then before Z even heard my side of the story, she already took B's side. I was offended and called her out on it. Swear words were said to each other, insults were thrown back and forth at all of us, then we stopped talking and now I'm ignoring them and they're ignoring me. They're so rude and I'm so mad at them but I keep thinking about all of our memories, and I miss that. I do have closer online friendships but it's hard because me, Z, and B all share online friends so now I don't know who I can talk to, except one person we'll call J. She is always a loyal best friend and we're the closest. What should I do? I DO NOT WANT TO APOLOGIZE BECAUSE I DID NOTHING WRONG. |
Question: My best friend needs space? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 02:27 PM PDT She just told me to leave her alone about three days ago and I don t know why. I kept calling her and texting to found out what the issue was but she said to leave her alone and that she doesn t want to talk to me right now. I told my mother and tried to go to her house to talk to her and her father to see if everything was ok but she sent me a long message about how disappointed she is that I would try to come to her house to talk and that she wishes I would just leave her alone. So I did and now she s making Twitter post saying "not everyone deserves her friendship and love" and how "parents spot fake friends faster then you" or "when you let people waste your time" like I ve tried to talk out the issue but she doesn t want to talk so I m just gonna give her space but it really hurts |
Question: I'm so lonely, what do I do? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 02:27 PM PDT Over the past 4 years I've gotten noticeably more anti-social. I used to have loto of friends and talk to people freshman year, but now I'm in my senior year, and I'm just so awkward. I'm in the IB program, so I've been with the same kids for the past 4 years, so it's not like I can just put myself into someone else's group. I'm not pretty, guys don't like me, and even the 2 friends that I have like each other better than they like me, I've tried telling myself that this is what I want, that I want to be alone, but sometimes it just gets so lonely, and I just need a hug, but there's no one there. |

Question: My friend has a problem with forgiveness/ why is our friendship unhealthy? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 02:03 PM PDT In gerenal we get along really well and have a ton of thing in common and have a similar disposition. Three years ago we were really close and talked every day for hours. We had a huge argument back in March and still doesn't wanna talk or hang out with me, don't really wanna get into details but she was even still holding onto a grudge from some very few small things I did wrong… A year ago. A few days after the argument we talked for a while and things were oksish. I wanted to hang out at her house but she probably thought I'd bring up the subject about what led us to our argument. She said I made her hate herself and didnt wanna see me again. Its to the point where she switches quickly and is almost like two different people, its exhausting for me since I carry around alot of emotions. I kinda feel bad for her cause she's also has alot of trust issues with people, since she's been used and treated badly alot and doesn't seem to trust me that well and just misunderstands me. In reality, I'm a very trustworthy loyal person that will do anything for my friends. I seriously don't have this problem with the rest of my friends. Why is she like this? It doesn't seem normal or healthy for her to be angry at me for this long; its been 6 months |

Question: How to deal with this obnoxious kid on the bus? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 01:57 PM PDT I am in high school and my bus is one of those extended buses since we have to share a bus with a middle school. Anyways, there is this 7th grade squeaker, he's so obnoxious and I'm sick of his ****, I really want to grab his Justin Bieber bowl cut and kick him in the dick. Question: How can I bring people different from each other, together? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 01:54 PM PDT I have a group of friends that are either religious or not. And they're very dear to me even if I don't know some of them very well yet. We are all so different from each other. Small example, they think reality is all bad and I think that's only half. Now that's only a small example of what I really mean. Most of us don't even know each other that well yet. So it makes it even harder for us to get to know each other and come together as a team. You've seen many people of different faiths and religions come together right? So i know it's possible for religious and non religious people to get along. And if you're like me, you believe that everything happens for a reason. So i won't let this group come apart. And again, if you're like me, you won't accept, let alone consider when someone tells you "it's probably not worth being their friend". Any advice? please help. We're together for a reason, and they're all my friends. And I can see that it's possible for us to be a team. I can see it. What can be done to bring people so different from each other, together? Sorry. But another thing to know is that yes, we are so different from each other. But the thing is that none of them are very understanding of each other. So every time someone opens up about something and/or gives an opinion about something, everyone else "has to" say something about it and say that it's crap and not respect it. They also don't care about many things. So they think they don't have to go after a friend whenever they make them angry. Sometimes someone leaves and the other goes "oh well". Then I try to bring them back and another goes, "well if you want to leave then leave." which is equivalent to telling them "leave. we don't want you here and don't like you if you're gonna be like that." whiiiiiiich is just like telling them "go f yourself). And none of them remotely understand how to be a good friend let alone the concept of "team effort". Which is one of the main reasons why we constantly keep running into an obstacle. But I really believe that no matter how different we are, we can still come together as a team. |

Question: How can I make friends in uk college? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 01:47 PM PDT Started last week and everybody seems to be in their little groups, just wandering alone, awful. Any ideas? |
Posted: 12 Sep 2016 01:33 PM PDT So about 4 weeks ago I started my first year of high school. There is a small bunch of people I know from my old school and they are all popular thanks to football, and only two of them are good friends. I decided not to join the football team because I was not sure about it and now even though I know the reason I quit football, my mind ignores it. I feel like I need to join back because you don t get popular and you don t get to meet new people if you don t play a sport. And now, I m just the same shy kid who sits in the back of class and no one talks to me. I have trouble making friends and talking to girls, I guess I expect them to come to me if they are interested. Two girls tried to talk to me but the bell rang and it ruined my only chance I feel like with homecoming rounding the corner even if I get all my confidence up and ask the girl I like it will automatically be a no because I m not popular. Can someone please help? This is probably stressing me out more than it should. Am I really just a shy nobody? |

Question: Why does nobody want to be my partner at school? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 01:10 PM PDT In subjects like dance, drama, Art etc where you HAVE to work with someone nobody wants to be my partner. I have friends (I think) but everyone goes with their best friend and I can't because she got moved down a class. I always end up being the third in a group. Why does nobody want to be my partner? |
Question: I have no one to sit with at lunch? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 01:04 PM PDT Im a junior this year and this is the third week of school. Sophomore and Freshman year my squad and i all miraculously had the same lunch. This year, i have two friends who have the same lunch as me, but one of them sits with the popular people and people i dont know or like which intimidates me and the other one sits with their friends who mostly dont like me (even though ive never talked to them??) and that friend basically ditches me at lunch. For the first week me and the friend who started ditching me would sit with this freshman and then i skipped lunch for two days whne that friend was out sick. That was last thursday and friday. Today (Monday) I went to eat lunch and my friend ditched me and im sure theyre going to do it again. I have social anxiety and its extremely hard for me to talk to strangers and i hate sitting alone at lunch. Today i jut sat in the back between two groups of friends and then in the last fige minutes went to buy a drink and hid in the bathroom until the bell. How do i make new friends or at least find someone to sit with at lunch? I suck at making conversation bc im always so nervous and shy. I dont want to keep skipping lunch but honestly if i cant find people to sit with im going to just skip and hide in the bathroom or work on hw in the library because i cant handle lunch. |
Question: Is she a friend or not? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 01:04 PM PDT There is a girl I met at work. I would offer her rides home on my Uber account. She offered to pay once before, but I told her not to worry about it. Anyway, my coworkers would make fun of me, and I do believe she laughed at their jokes. I confronted her about it, and she said it didn't happen. Maybe I'd blown it out of proportion. Anyways, she has called me a few times to talk and get to know each other better. However, I made the mistake of telling her I bought my own car. Now she keeps calling me to hint that she needs rides. It's frustrating because she always says we need to make plans to hang out. When I do, something always comes up with her. For example, we had to meet last Sat. at 1p. She called me back an hour later to say she couldn't go because she wasn't paying attention to her phone and was doing random things. Then she said her husband would have a fit if she tried to go anywhere at that point. I thought it was a lame excuse. This has happened before. Is it a misunderstanding or is she a fake friend? |
Question: Am I weird for watching My Friends Tigger & Pooh? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 01:03 PM PDT I am an 18 year old teenage boy and I still LOVE the TV show My Friends Tigger and Pooh. I am worried people will make fun of me and are there any other teenagers watching it at this age? |
Posted: 12 Sep 2016 01:02 PM PDT The reason that I'm not friends with them because the day after my birthday (my birthday is May 25) the next day I gave them a letter saying that "thanks for being there when I need you guys I will always be there for you guys I will take a bullet for you I love you guys just as friends" before I got in trouble for giving a girl I used to like a song I wrote for her my punishment was taking the special ed kids which was horrible and one of the friends that i used to be friends with used to give me a big smile and in it I wrote "thanks for smiling when I used to take care of the kids" and I told the other girl at one point that I was thinking to commit suicide which I don't feel that way and she actually said "don't do that". Which actually made me happy because none of my friends would never say that. So I wrote "if it wasn't for you saying that to be honest I wouldn't probably would be here" then after I wrote the lyrics to the "You're my Best Friend" by Queen. I got in trouble so I got suspended which when my friends found out they all got pissed off. The girls names are Zoe and Caylee. The other girl I gave that I wrote the song to her name is Kendall. I have met Zoe's parents which I think they liked me because I remember the first time I met her mother I got Zoe a birthday card so her mother goes and I quote "you're a great friend" which it actually made me happy because an adult even notice I'm a good person. I even asked her father if I can take her to the prom. |
Question: Is this guy overreacting? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 12:53 PM PDT So, me and my coworker used to be good friends at work and we usually would kid around with each other on a daily basis.... he's a big Republican and Donald Trump supporter and we would usually talk about politics in person even though we didn't share the same views....so Donald Trump was in our city several weeks ago campaigning and gave a speech and my coworker put a post on Facebook saying he was in line to see Trump and I reacted with a Laughing emoji....and later that day I put a status on Facebook stating that I believed Trump was a clown and idi*t and I'd rather see Gary Johnson in the White House....next day after that I find out he unfriended me on Facebook and now every day I go to work he tries to ignore me and is standoffish to me. Do y'all think this guy is being dramatic? |

Question: Turned down strip club. What was so appealing to my female friend? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 12:34 PM PDT One night I was hanging out with my friends when all the guys wanted to visit this strip club. They were totally horny. Lori, the lone girl in our group, got singled out. The strip club wasn't her ideal place to hang out and refused. I also felt the same. The guys kept urging me to go, but I explained that, even as a guy too, I hardly felt like wasting money tipping or paying the entry fee. Besides, I really hate seeing women portrayed in that light and I didn't want to be seen as that type of guy. My other friends merely shrugged, called me a gay ******, and ditched us. Oddly, for some reason, Lori found my explanation very appealing and was like praising me. For the rest of the night we saw a movie. Now it's like Lori is showing an attraction toward me solely based on my choice. What's going on? |
Question: Is it bad to no longer want to be with an old friend? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 12:32 PM PDT I'm in my senior year of high school and I've known this guy since the elementary years. Here's the thing: he says he still wants to be best friends after all these years but he's committed a lot of atrocities towards me (even lying in court against me) over the years and I simply just cannot be friends with him anymore Even when it comes to "moving on after all of that" I still find him to be extremely immature and selfish. I have talked to several people about this issue and say that "we've been friends for so long." Am I really a bad person for not wanting to be friends with him anymore? |
Question: What to do about 'friends' ignoring me? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 12:18 PM PDT I had two friends who I would've considered my closest friends (friend A and B) We would always hang out together and talk between the three of us, but recently they started to talk to me less and less. They even started hanging out without me. I don't have an issue with that, but they always brag about how much fun they had and send me photographs, and when they do invite me to go places its usually just so I can buy their food. B still talks to me and acts nice (less than usual though) but A is completely ignoring me, walking right past me, not talking, no eye-contact; and when they do talk to me it is an insult. Not a friendly sort of insult, it is a "I hate you and I wish you would die" sort of insult. When friend B is not around friend A is following me like a lost puppy though. I know I will get responses saying "They are bad friends, get new ones" but it isn't that easy. I live in a small area and there is no where to make new friends. I also almost forgot to add: We have not argued recently or anything. I have not said anything nasty so do not understand their sudden strange behaviours. I should probably also mention (sorry, last one) that friend A often has mood swings which she described to me as "hating people for no reason" so is it possible she is mentally ill and I'm being rude? Sorry in advance if I am being silly or overreacting. Thanks for all replies. Apologies for bad English. |
Question: How do i get my buddies to stop ignoring me? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 11:58 AM PDT Alright so basically every time I'm with this particular group of friends they do this subtle little thing where we'll be talking about something and when I say literally anything to add in, they all either A)Ignore me completely and i get that feeling of talking to a wall. or B)They'll all acknowledge what i said, look at each other in confusion, and then scuff, as if what i said was dumb, absurd and had no contribution to the conversation. The problem is, that individually, they don't do this to me. Like i can have a pretty good or funny talk with each one of them personally, but it's not until were all grouped up, say at a cafeteria. And i think one of the guys is the main contributor, because he will do it the most. Let's call him bob. Say i'm sitting with all the dudes. They'll (and i say "they" because i will be lowkey excluded) will be talking about cars and what not. Since i'm with them i'm inclined to discuss with them. Now the whole time they're it's very obvious that Bob doesn't include me. It's as if he knows that i understand i'm being ignored for comedic reasons. So say somewhere along the conversation they talk about changing brakes in a car. Now i haven't really contributed to the discussion so ill ask something curious like "When would you know when to change your brakes?" ... and this is where it always happens, Bob will look at me, look at the other buddies and say "what the ****?" in confusion, and everybody will kinda chuckle. How do i counter act this? i cant just confront them, cuz then when i do they look at me weird and all confused like they always do,how do i stop the cycle *** I found an almost perfect depiction of what happens ... i found a Key and Peele Sketch that pretty much shows how it all plays out ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKpQgEyjNdM Im Key, and "Bob" is Peele. It's like that, up until Peele freaks out lol, that dont happen. but like you can see all the guys laughing and agreeing. Just Watch it and let me know |
