Theres only 28 people in my class and maybe 250-300 in my whole school, literally everyone has friends except me. Theres these two guys in my class im really jealous of and I wish I was them. They're tall, fairly good looking, and have friends and are always hanging out with people. I wish i was them so bad that i just want to die. Im practically invisible no matter how hard I try.. Im just too different to the point where noone gives a crap about me. Everytime I go on snapchat and see those two guys and all their friends having fun, meanwhile im at home alone, my heart shatters. Today is homecoming and of course i didnt go because I have noone to even go with, not even friends... And i just see them, and all the people that like them. Why cant i be them? Why cant i change my circumstances no matter how hard I try? Its so uncomfortable having to TRY SO HARD everyday to be social and get people to like me to no avail, meanwhile everyone else doesnt have to try! They just have friends who will talk to them regardless! This sucks so bad!!! |

No job or anything. She stays with her mother (who is also a moocher and has no job). I'm 18. I have a job. I live with my mother and 2 siblings. My mother doesn't have a job because she's disabled. Anyway, long story short, my friend and her mother are ALWAYS asking me and my family for things and it's getting VERY annoying. They ask for $ and things that everyone is SUPPOSED to have in their household, such as: tissue, water, PADS, etc. They ask my mom to take them to the grocery store and they don't even offer her any gas $. Don't get me wrong, I love helping others, but I can't stand to see ppl sit on their asses and not do anything about it. I feel as if they can get off of their asses and find a job and work instead of mooching off of others. Seriously, there are lots of places to work at around our neighborhood that are in walking distance. There is absolutely no excuse as to why they're jobless. It pisses me off because they're always asking for money and other things, but every time I see my friend, she has a different hairstyle. They obviously have some sort of income coming in, but they choose to waste it. She can spend $ on hair & other ****, but she doesn't seem to have money for the NECESSARY things? Wow. They are absolutely terrible because they call me names, take me for granted and insult my interests while I was paying for their stay on the last trip. How do I tell this friend off without chasing away my other friends who might get caught in the cross fire of this fight? Details: I made this person's costume for an anime convention we went to last year (same con- group opportunity). They never said thank you, and the next trip in May was worse. They ran out of money on day two of both trips (not faulting for being poor, but they had about $400 saved up and blew it all in less than 48 hours) while the rest of us paid for gas, hotel rooms, and our own (and their) ticket. So she wasn't really paying anything. The May trip, I bought her $30 of food and she threw out half of each meal (which is really bad because we went to fast food joints). Then she went about calling me Hippo (I'm way smaller than her) and saying my show(s) sucked. Ok ok- one of those things at one time, I could accept and let go- but way too much way too fast (72 hour period on all that). On top of all that, she's been addressing me as cis-gendered (and yeah, i get where it comes from, but I don't like the labeling when I didn't volunteer for the name) and saying I'm stupid because I went to university (meaning she earned her job as a waitress while I'm stupid for working for a lab). What do I do to make her stop bullying me? |

Since we all live away, I texted them (or rather we used this messenger that also tells you if the people saw your message or not) about how I was crying and no one responded to it... even though they saw it. They're are no local kids my age, or anyone from my school that I could be friends with. They're are no clubs in my city (apart for ones for younger kids like 11 and under) and there is nothing to really volunteer for. This leaves me with no options, and complete bordem. I have people I talk too online, but that gets boring. I rarely leave my house now, two or three times a month is my minimum. There are no neighbors or family my age, I'm surrounded my adults constantly and I feel like I need someone my own age to relate too. What can I do? Is there any websites that could help? Websites where I'm not gonna be harassed by a peadophile. It's not that I'm incapable of not making friends, I'm a nice enough person with a humor and fun outtake, I'm kind of pretty and have few faults with my general character. It's just.. I'm beginning to be depressed. I feel like me living so far away from campus is ruining my chances of a social life. I just want to have the time of my life in college. In high school, I was miserable... and I thought this would be a chance at me starting over. My friend was badly hurt, I remember there was so much blood and his screams still me feel upset. I felt so helpless and useless because I was a third year medicine student with no tools whatsoever. When we got to the hospital, he was placed in surgery which was a few hours. I managed to get in contact with his parents and they were not in the country. But they arrived after a week. He required a bit of physiotherapy and I would tag along with him. Surprisingly, he was very jokey about the whole situation and would say comments like "well now I can call myself a hero". I spent the whole summer with him which was really fun. But I feel guilty about everything, if I didn't ask him to hang out with me that day, he would have been fine. If I didn't stop for ice cream or ate faster none of this would have happened. I know I can't control the universe. Worst part is I have developed some feelings for him.. Any advice on what I can do ? |

And so basically, he stopped answering last thursday and so i started kinda spamming im sorry, did u block me, and wasn't answered until sunday where he said he was in the mountains and had no recepcion, so basically, i said ok sorry i did not know, and then i said hi later and no answer so i started saying hi and making fake twitter accounts with friends names saying to answer colly's texts and got no reply, so basically, on wednesday, i started saying depression things like no one likes me and im hated and then he called me and then i answered and he hung up immedietiley. so basically, and today, i started making tons of fake twitter accounts and got a 2nd number for my phone saying my name was gage young, pls answer my friend colly's texts and still no answer. so i do the block test by calling and if theres 1 ring im blocked, so i call and theres multiple rings, but no answer, so i start spamming pls answer! im crying so hard! Please!!!! and no answer so i start crying and then i call again 3 hours later and theres 1 ring so im blocked!!! so i start freaking out and i look on twitter messaging and i see he said " Stop making fake accounts and asking to text you back" |

Everyone else seems to be fitting in just fine. I ve never been the new kid, and the school I was in honestly rarely had any new kids, so I m stuck. I m really shy around new people and in new environments. But once someone talks to me, I ll be fine, so that s my issue. My question is, when there s typically a new kid, do the current students at the school typically start a conversation with the kid? I feel as long as someone ELSE talks to me, I ll be fine. I don t want advice saying "you have to be more confident" or whatever, because I m going to try, but it s extremely difficult for me. ALSO, is that thing about Florida kids being more laid back and less judgemental than kids in New York?Please help, thank you :) (can be from someone who was a new kid or someone who seen one lol) |

And like I don't really benefit much from being friends with someone. Even if they're really nice people and I enjoy spending time with them, I feel like it just makes me happy on a superficial surface level and then I'm just depressed again. Maybe I'm just not meeting the right people. I have friends/aquaintances but haven't had a "best friend" in years, I feel like I just never get that close to anyone and feel weird/awkward being that intimate with someone in a friendship. At this point I feel like I am going to struggle with depression for my whole life. Nothing helps with it. |

| Question: My roommate keeps making offhanded comments about me not eating enough? Posted: 24 Sep 2016 12:32 PM PDT I'm a Sophomore in college, and my eating habits are a little messed up due to my schedule. On Monday/Wednesday, I start class at 12pm, and don't get out until 5:45. On Tuesday/Thursday I have a class from 10-11:45am, and then classes from 2:00pm-5:45. I eat in my room before class on Monday/Wednesday, usually some mini-muffins and an applesauce packet. Then on Tuesday/Thursday, I'll do the same before my 10am, then go the lunch with friends before my 2pm. The thing is, it's not like I'm not eating when I go eat; I eat a lot. I'm not actively trying to not eat, it's that I'm in class for over 5 hours a day, and only have time to eat at certain times; but I still eat when I have time. She'll make offhanded comments when I say I'm cold like 'Well we need to get some meat on your bones', and at one point, she blatantly told me I wasn't eating enough, and asked me what/when I was going to eat that day. She is a former anorexic, so I understand where she's coming from, but it still bothers me. I know I'm not anorexic; I don't watch my calories, I eat as much as I want, and I'm not stopping myself from eating, I just have to schedule when I eat due to classes. I also have a fast metabolism, so I don't gain weight like most people do. It also doesn't help that I've had the flu for the past week, and I haven't been eating much, due to feeling like crap. I want her to stop making comments/asking me, but I don't know how to tell her without coming off as rude/angry. What should I do? Also, I eat dinner every night with my friends, I forgot to mention that in the post. |

And so basically, he stopped answering last thursday and so i started kinda spamming im sorry, did u block me, and wasn't answered until sunday where he said he was in the mountains and had no recepcion, so basically, i said ok sorry i did not know, and then i said hi later and no answer so i started saying hi and making fake twitter accounts with friends names saying to answer colly's texts and got no reply, so basically, on wednesday, i started saying depression things like no one likes me and im hated and then he called me and then i answered and he hung up immedietiley. so basically, and today, i started making tons of fake twitter accounts and got a 2nd number for my phone saying my name was gage young, pls answer my friend colly's texts and still no answer. so i do the block test by calling and if theres 1 ring im blocked, so i call and theres multiple rings, but no answer, so i start spamming pls answer! im crying so hard! Please!!!! and no answer so i start crying and then i call again 3 hours later and theres 1 ring so im blocked!!! so i start freaking out and i look on twitter messaging and i see he said " Stop making fake accounts and asking to text you back" o i say a huge appolgozy letter saying im sorry for being alive and stuff, IM SCARED HE IS CALLING THE POLICE!!! I know for a fact she has tried all of them because I have asked her. she knows that im totally against it and so she keeps reminding me to not think of her as a bad person, and I dont. I think she is a great, smart person with lots of potential, and I just dont want her to get into any trouble. But its not like I can really intervene or say much because its her business and she has never made it mine, and in a way protects me from all of it and from knowing about it. I still smoke today and am a firm believer that it should be legalized. I just moved away to college and am in my first semester (freshman). I recently got a text from my best friend back home (a senior in high school) and he told me that he was smoking with some friends and my brother showed up to hang out. One of the guys passed my brother the bowl and my best friend took it away from him, saying that he had to make sure it was OK with me first. So I got a text the next day from him, asking if it was OK with me if he smoked with my brother. I want my brother to experience pot, but I don t know if I want him to do it now. He s not the brightest kid, and I don t want him getting in trouble. I also don t want him getting distracted from school or football (which he is very committed to). I know he wants to try it, and I know that if I say no he s going to do it anyway, but maybe if I can convince him to wait a few more years... Please let me know what you think. Bacially college has started again and I live off campus whereas my friends all live more on campus. Due to this, they always hang out during the week and talk to each other and I m kind of left out. I try to snapchat my one main friend but they simply open the message and don t respond. On weekends we go to football games together for our college but they always take a pic together before I get there so I m always seeing their pictures online without me in it. It s so weird because when we are together they seem fine and we all have a good time but they never invite me first to go out with them- I kind of have to invite myself. My one main friend and I had some issues last spring and never got to discuss them (they ignored me when this occurred) so I think after that they just wanted to abandon me. All I keep thinking is that I can t wait to graduate and maybe move away because I feel so left out. what should I do? My main friend NEVER talks about serious issues and would make me feel stupid if I even brought it up so that s not an option. Thanks! |
