Posted: 18 Sep 2016 11:21 PM PDT We went to look at a bunch of venues the other weekend for our wedding that will be next year. There is just one place that cuts it. The place isn't expensive, it's not that. It's just too small. It's an old mansion with gorgeous gardens and beautiful scenary. I can imagine her looking like a princess in a place like that. The woman working there says there is room for 150. I'm sure there is if you pack people in like sardins. But in order for it to be somewhat comfortable and for people to be able to dance I would say no more than 100-110. Between us we have some 140 people to invite. I'm sure some will drop off but we are really "unlucky" and say 130 come, it's raining and we can't do anything outside the wedding will suck. It's hard not to invite people. You have to invite them. I have tried giving her other options like maybe have a reception there and have the party in another location. But no, it's there or no where. She is extremely emotionally driven when it comes to this location, she doesn't think clearly and is impossible to reason with. What do I do? |

Posted: 18 Sep 2016 07:21 PM PDT Hi I'm getting married soon and would love a clever hashtag so that my family can post to social media using our #. Our last name is Zoch. |

Posted: 18 Sep 2016 12:30 PM PDT It is for a cousin my brother is better at staying in touch with. I thought for sure I'd be invited but I am not. Obviously I can't invite myself so I am in pain. The wedding is in November. What do I do? We were close as kids, do I reach out after the wedding or does this mean she doesn't want to be close? My brother is asked as he is friends with her husband and he is her age (they went to school together). She saw me in April for the first time since our grandmother died two years ago so it is not like we hang out but still it is family. She is having two of her other three cousins (the other one she is not having lives in Japan so obviously wouldn't be able to come). So my parents and my brother will be going and not me. I am 31 and should care but I feel hurt like a kid, How do I get over this and how do I handle that weekend? My parents went to all of their cousins weddings. I am 31 and a woman (single). I should add I am not mad or anything, just sad |
Question: Maid of honor speech/toast help? Posted: 18 Sep 2016 11:42 AM PDT "She deserves the world(or best) and nothing less and mason has proven that he can give her that." Is this good for part of my maid of honor toast?i also want to say something like; "Marriage is a long journey, with high and low points, but..." and then something about love holds them together or their rings or something but idk what to do. Any ideas? |
Question: What do you think of this bridesmaid dress? Posted: 18 Sep 2016 09:46 AM PDT I was wondering what you thought of this as a bridesmaid dress? I wanted something shorter, this is about knee cap length, maybe a inch above. I also wanted something blue. Want to know your honest opinions http://tinypic.com/r/2642y60/9 |
