As i am not totally over him, i wanted to try to be open with him again and began initiating conversation more often. But i cant help being jealous when he hangs out with girls, or like he doesnt want to put effort into talking to me anymore. Here's the main reason. Three years ago I was involved in a serious car accident that shattered my left leg. After a couple surgeries the doctors told me it couldn't be saved and my leg was amputated about mid thigh. I have a prosthetic and walk quite well now. In fact my friends say that when I wear sweatpants it's impossible to tell I only have one leg. I love to stay fit just as I did before the accident and exercise each day. I haven't had a boyfriend since my accident though and it really embarrassed me about my leg. Any time a guy shows some interest I just assume he feels bad for me. I'm just afraid I'll never find somebody because of my leg and I have zero confidence. I know I'll probably get a lot of just be comfortable with yourself responses but let's be real who's going to find a girl with one leg attractive? What should I do? |

The most horrified look came over his face and i asked him why she was calling him. He lied and said they used to talk he has no clue why she would be calling. They both assure me it has never been physical and they have never hung out before. I snapped out (naturally). The texts she sent me were of him drunk calling her baby and telling her he loves her. I asked him how could you love someone youve never met? His response was i never really loved her i guess she gave me attention and always initiated the conversations and it stroaked my ego so i fed into it. He told me he truly loves me and he never even tried to see her and turned her down any time she tried coming over. He assured me that he loved me, touched me, made love to me, and gave his time to me and he never intended on ever giving her his time but in his mind he fed in to someone giving him attention. I asked him why he lied when i called him out on it and he said because he was scared to lose me and wanted to cut things off with her and focus on me and didnt want me to get hurt. Helped her move, was a shoulder to cry on and am truly compassionate about her. We have a good time together but I'm always the one to initiate meetups for the most part. When we talk she likes to talk about herself a lot which is ok but she's not overly self-centered. She's been dating all sorts of strange people with questionable intentions for a bit. She's somewhat promiscuous and has trouble having a good relationship because it seems she basses them on physical relationships and ends up heart broken and feeling used. I worry because I know the importance of emotional connection and am celibate myself. I'm really depressed right now going through a legal battle over my grandpas estate and going to school. It's hitting me hard this week and iv'e been trying to reach out to her for company but it's like she doesnt even care. She doesn't know the situation but she knows im stressed and that alone I think is distasteful for her and now she wont even respond when I try to see how shes doing. We've been dating for a year now and he's slept over once before in my brother's room.Now my mom is saying it will never happen again cause we broke 2 rules. My mom said we weren't allowed to lay together, and we weren't allowed to have my door shut at any time when he was here. He lives 1200 miles away and is saving up for an apartment to move down here. It would cost about $1200 in all to fly down here (or drive) AND get a hotel + having a money for food. So of course that would be hard to save that amount when we're also wanted to get engaged. So he's planning on coming in January. We're also planning on getting engaged in January. We are a very serious and committed couple, both mature and smart I believe as well. We are both responsible and respectable people, and we both have jobs. We rarely get to see each other, maybe twice a year, we miss each other, and it would save a whole bunch of money if my mom were to let him stay over here for at least a week so he can look at apartments down here and he would stay in my brother's room. So my question is if you were(are) a parent and was in this situation, and your kid's boy/girlfriend lived 1200 miles away and needed him to stay here because it would save a lot of money. Would you let him? He'd only be in the hotel at night. It just seems like a waste of money. It would just help a lot if she would let him. I just want other's opinions. Thanks. Be nice. |

We've never made plans outside of work but I want to. When we work together we always get food together and always switch off buying each other coffees. We talk about our lives and I believe that we are becoming good friends but I'm at a standstill because I feel like I have to initiate first but i get so nervous to ask. She's super chill and nice but even from the beginning, I had to dig deep to get her to tell me about herself. Ive wanted to be her friend for a while but for some reason Im just so nervous. She always tells me about her drinking/smoking the night before or about fires she has and I feel left out because she never invites me to do those things. We get along so well and have so much in common, I feel like she could be my best friend. I've never cared about someone like that this quickly and I don't know how to act. It stops when I look back but when I look at them, they avoid eye contact. I would catch them looking than they would immediately look away. When I get near them, they would look at me and smile, but when I talk to them, they would look away or down or straight ahead while avoiding eye contact and not talking. Usually when they respond, it is either short or they just giggle without saying anything. The first day, one of them was really flirting with me, biting her lip whenever I spoke and acted like a nervous mess. When they also found out the first day that one of them were going to be in my group, they said "omg, hes in your group." Thing is though, I have been acting very shy and I even heard them talking after class saying "I did not think he was that shy". A couple classes have passed and they do not look at me as much but whenever they do, they IMMEDIATELY look away. They do not talk to me and I do not think they talk about me either anymore. They kind of ignore me, but they still act SUPER SHY around me. Which is weird, because I would see them flirting (not like what they did to me) with other kids on campus but they just completely ignore me now. Whenever they talk to me, they blush. When I first walk in and they see me, one of them spots me and they immediately whisper to each other, but they do not talk to me. We go into this 2nd date, restaurant then to this drink place. She drove us because I told her to haha. Everything was good, We just talked to get to know and connect. We were at a topic about her grandma passing away but we talked more about something else. After, different topics she was staring at a blank space and I asked her "are you okay??" and she said "I just remember about my grandma, I think i'll leave... see you later" hugged me quick and walked around the corner quickly. Posted: 27 Sep 2016 07:28 PM PDT I'm 17 years old and never had a girlfriend, I was thought that if I did ever get one is want her to be the jealous type. Like she gets jealous when I talk to another girl, or text, also someone who cares for me, and someone who I can shower with hugs and kisses. But I don't know if there are a lot of girls that like that. Are there a lot of girls that like that? And are there a lot of girls that are the same way? |

I try to talk to them to at least be friends yet I feel like I get treated like something easily disposable. I feel that just because of my physical height (5'4) that girls don't treat me as special as they would other guys and its been making me believe that some things like sexual assault is justified in some cases, or at least i'm not the won thats doing it but I have a lot less sympathy for people who are rape victims (excluding jail)....no wonder why sexual assault still exists in this world.... |

We where very intimate after that weeknd she would be at my house 3 to 4 times a week she was all over me waking me up for work . Calling me on my lunch after work all that stuff. But then she tells me she is 6 weeks broken up from a long relationship. But wants me around and that we are datting but we can see other people basically she just want friends with benefits but I got attached and pushed her away she still calls me every day but when hang out she different. She not all over me any more . So how do I make her belive i dont want a relationship and I am ok with friends with benefits. And get that back and that I am not attached .I just took her to a concert she spent the night but turned me down she says she scared of hurting me that I want a relationship and I tell her no i over the raltianship and to want it to be like it was with no strings. But I think she other found some else or got back with her x and that why she has been always busy and stuff and we do hang out she not all over me like she was. Whenever thy stare I feel awkward. Because of this I avoid eye contact. And I can barely look at people like the clerk at the gas station and I can barely smile. When I walk into a building I never walk with my shoulders back and back straight. I jut walk with a slouch and don't walk sexy at all. I don't want peiple to notice me. I don't want women being envious. People have stopped to tell me I'm super pretty and I don't like it idk why I'm like this. I feel like because of this people might think I give off a bitchy vibe but I'm not bitchy at all. I feel like this is hendering me from getting a bf. Guys think I'm conceded because I don't really smile and look at them when they talk to me so they think I'm a *****. I HATE FEELING LIKE THIS WHAT DO I DO?? How can I like being pretty?? |

| Posted: 27 Sep 2016 07:18 PM PDT As I said in the Title, I just can t sum up any bit of courage to talk to her. She s in two of my classes, both of which I sometimes catch her staring at me. A few other guys like her, but to my knowledge she s annoyed by all of them. Only two people know about this. One who s supportive, and one who is not. The unsupportive one tell me stuff such as, "you can t like someone if you don t tally to them." Or "other guys like her, why do you think she ll pick you." Another problem is that this unsupportive person is usually always around the girl I have a crush on. There are barely any moments that she s alone, which makes everything even more difficult. She s really pretty, she s really smart, and she seems really nice. I did talk to her once, and I felt really happy talking to her. I m more introverted, so stuff like this is really really difficult for me. Any tips? |

We have hung out a few times mostly with other friends though too. I like him so much but I can't tell if he likes me. Like he always wants to hang out with me/ invites me places, but then talks about this girl that he is supposedly talking to and tells me he is going to set me up with a guy or that I need a boyfriend and stuff. But then he also flirts with me a lot. Like he will tell me my hair looks good and I can tell he checks me out sometimes. I feel like he knows I like him because one time at work he showed me a picture of the girl he is talking to and it was kinda awkward after and then a little later he asked me if I was upset and I told him no and asked why he was was like "never mind idk why I asked you that" and it was obvious it was about him showing me her. A lot of my friends think he was trying to make me jealous but idk... also there are times when I text him something and he doesn't answer. I feel like he doesn't like me but at the same time I have hope that he does. I just don't know what to do honestly. It just sucks cause I can't stop thinking about him like literally the whole day! |

I'm a cashier at work and when an attractive guy comes up I look at him and I look down. And during the whole transaction I never look up. When I give him his reciept I barely look at him and once his back is already turned I yell "Have a nice day"!. Why am I so shy? I can never smile at guys and show that I'm interested because I feel like it would be weird. I'm not even ugly I been told I'm very attractive and I feel attractive but once in the presence of someone fine or attractive my confidence sinks like the titanic. Is this normal??? |
