My dad passed away a year ago. I'm 17 recieving SS.for my dad. My dads mom was the only beneficiary on his will. His wife won't let me have any of his things,because she wants nothing to do with his family. What can i do to get his things that are in her posession? He had brain cancer. She says my grandma stole her money,because it belonged to her. It never did because she wasn't a benificiary

Today is my birthday and I turned 22 years old. My family keeps asking what I want for my birthday. I said I just don't want anything for my birthday this year. They just don't understand why I don't want anything this year. I just want to enjoy the little things, live life to the fullest, living in the moment, just giving love to my family and everyone, except the thing that I already have in life, and being happy. Tomorrow my parents are leaving the country because my father needs a transplant. Hence they're leaving for the treatment tomorrow and won't be back for another 2-3 months. I am really really upset because I love them dearly. I've been crying since 2 days and my mom said she can't go if I cry like this and she will come back without getting any treatment. She says she needs our support and if we cry like this she won't have the strength herself. She's right. I totally understand since she is going to be alone there and i really do want to support her. Anyway. Tomorrow is the big day and I really don't want to cry while saying goodbye. What do I do? How do I stop myself from crying at that time? Really need help!!!

This happened a few years ago, i am sharing this now because i need to get it out of my head. Just the whole thing creeps me out. I am hoping that you will take my concerns seriously and wouldn't bother answering with something stupid. When i was 12, i went to visit my grandfather every Saturday. Once we were talking i spotted a bulge in his pants. One time he asked me if i liked to wear short skirts (still 12). Most times, he would ask me to sing for him. So one time i made a whole concert for him and pretended to be a famous singer. At the end of the show he said that if i was older he would've asked me out for dinner, that i was very beautiful. Sometimes he would say that i was the only reason he was still living, that he loved me. My grandfather passed away recently, but still these things keep hunting me. My question is do i really have any reason to think that he was in love with me? And if so, how should i deal with the whole situation. I don't want to tell my parents or any other family members.

My cousin doesn't live at my house but he stays their 5 days a week for school cause where he lives is far from the school he wants to go to.My cousin has anger problems and he hit me before and I could not defend myself cause he's fat and I'm smaller then him but I'm 14 and he's 14 and he gets on my nevers like I'm so depressed at home but when I get to school I feel better ,I tell my mom to make him stop comming here but she can't tell his dad that cause That's her brother and I'm so mad like when he's not here I'm so happy and as soon as he comes I get depressed, I personally hate him that if I had the chance to kill him without going to jail I WOULD , I hate to think like this but is there anything I can do ? Hi, im a Muslim. Straight to the point, my parents never let me out of the house (hang around with friends) so all i have is my gaming console. I grew up being a gamer and have a lot of history, its my hobby and is a part of me, i am not who i am without gaming. My parents have decided to ban me from playing, and i can only play on weekends, im a Cod player and this year a very good cod is being released and I thought it was going to be great but two days a week in a cod game is like not playing at all. They are doing this for my school education, i am good in school, and i said i will promise to put my heart and soul into revision and work at home just let me play normally but they said no. So me not being able to go out or do my usual hobby, now its a prison. Nothing to do. My dad sometimes abuses me, not much now really but would do serious stuff when i was younger. So much happened to me when i was younger, i almost committed suicide, i was only 9-12 then which means i wanted to die multiple times. Hated life, cried everyday, i live in a different country so i am not with uncles, aunts, cousins, grandparents, i cry for the loneliness too. I dont do self harm (emo) but when i am about to go downstairs to attack my dad, i let the temper out on myself by punching myself and i am pretty strong, bruised my face. I just want to run away now. Its just boring and dull at home. I do repent. I have thought about running away several times, if i do, i will still pray and read quran

I teach a computer class. One of my students Betty ask me if I could drive her home after class. I said sure. As I drove up to her house. You could not call it a house. Mansion was a better description. I remarked "What a beautiful home you have". She said "I got it in my divorce when I caught my husband screwing his secretary". I like a woman that tells it like it is don't you? She insisted I come in for a cup of coffee and cake as her way of saying thank you. I have been with my Husband for 24 years, which almost all of them we have lived pay check to pay check. When we first got together he had 3 children which lived with him, he had asked me to give up working to be a stay at home mom. After many discussions I agreed, with the promise that when the kids were raised my going back to work would not be expected due to the fact that I had always worked factory jobs and after 10 or 15 years I would no longer be considered skilled. He agreed. Just recently my Father in law passed away, which brought up the subject of inheritance. My husband was informed that his younger sister's would be made his trustees, due to the fact they all believed I would spend the money. I have never expected one dime from his family's money, I have always believed the money should remain in the family. I am so hurt and to top it off my husband didn't stand up for me. I don't know what to do as this was all said behind my back. I have been nothing but respectful to his entire family, and truly believed they respected me too. I'm 13 years old. I hate my dad. He has mental issues, I'm not sure what. He isn't abusive, just different. Its hard to explain him. He is really confusing. He had a bad childhood, but I don't want him to make mine bad. Which he has. I'm starting to think he may be bipolar. He is a hypocrite, he's always all over. With everything. He is extremely strict, has rules that my mom and grandma don't agree with. He doesn't listen to ANYBODY, he is very controlling and with him its "my way or the highway." My mom is scared of him, they have a bad marriage, and because of that, my mom won't stand up for herself and tell him what she wants and whats best for me. He is kind of stuck in the old fashioned times. He agrees in "spanking" children, and my mother and grandmother, including me, feel that's a form of child abuse. He feels everything I do is "disrespectful" even just stating my opinion towards things. I can't deal with him anymore. He won't listen to counselors, and is a Jesus freak, he won't support me being atheist. I need to leave my house so bad, is there anywhere I can go? I don't have any family and I don't feel my situation is bad enough to call CPS. I want to talk to my counselor and see if there is such thing as a program, or something, where I can live with another family for awhile. So I need advice and I would like to know if living with another family is a possibility. Anything that doesn't involve staying in this house would be extremely helpful. Thank you. Hate is a strong word, so before anybody says that I shouldn't "hate" my dad, I don't. I strongly dislike him, but honestly, it doesn't matter.

I'm 19 years old and in College. I live with my parents because the economy is sh*t. My father makes the rules despite me living there. Like just today as I got home from College, I ate something and went straight to bed. Somehow I woke up at 20:20 pm, my father stood there shouting at me for not washing the dishes as he usually do. He wants to kick me out of the house because I'm not keeping to the end of the bargain of doing chores to stay in the house. The truth is I have been so busy with College that when I get home I'm tired. The College workload is so huge to a point I don't even have a real job. I have already started a small side business of designing things for people. My College is in the city and travelling there is already a huge thing as I need to wake up at 5 am to go to College until 3 pm,traveling included. With my father saying all of these things, my past is coming back to me when he would threaten to kick me out due to this and not care about my reasons. He said the shame sh*t 3 years ago. They complain that I'm always in my room but I'm either resting from College or I'm completing my homework. I'm also having a feeling of loneliness because there is no one special in my life. I also think my father is trying to prevent me from being like my cousin who is 30 years old, still living with his parents and has a kid. Bare in my mind my cousin is a College graduate and has a job. I wanna move out but I can't, What can I do? My parents are government workers so the College won't issue me financial aid. They would rather give it to a person less fortunate.

I'm struggling right now. My parents are getting divorced. Due to economical problems. My dad has been unemployed for a while now and my mom said she have had enough. Today they were yelling at each other. Hurtful things like "Go die" , "Get out of my house", "I'd be better off without you" etc. This yelling and talking have been going on for years. But it's first now that's gotten serious. During these years, I've been the one to try to talk my mother down and calm her down. Constantly for years. But I find myself not carring anymore. Not about this divorce anyway. The thing that gets to me is that my dad has spoken out loud about how he cannot go on living if they get this divorce. And told me directly that I should't "Expect to see much more of him" after this divorce. That is what really struck me and got me concerned. Through the ongoing fights that have nowadays they use me to their favor. My mom talks about how my father is "Ruining me", and "Putting me through things". My dad says that my mother will kill me just like she will do to him. I'm kinda split with what to do, I do not wish to take a side in this matter, because all I want is that this fixes itself and my family can keep going. This also effects me during school, workouts, social life. For instance I have not been to school for a week. Not worked out for two weeks and I've completely cut myself off in my social life. So I've been threw alot of ****, and I have been hurt alot by family. When I was very young this little girl told me this scary *** story about the devil stalking and cutting her, for a couple years after I was haunted by vivid imaginings of the devil trying to molest and rape me, I'd feel a presence imagine him doing things to me but not actually seeing him, this happend up until I was 9. Since then happened my parents would scream throw stuff and hit eachother in front of me and my brother. I've had my mom threaten me with suicide, she tortured my dog. My dad and our neighbor almost started a firefight. My dog died the day my parents divorced, someone killed him, either the neighbor or my mom. Lived alone with my dad, we would breath down my neck in his underwear, hit me for not smiling, I was diagnosed with mild autism and my dad and my brother would hit me in a corner and not stop until I said I didn't have it, he rubbed my own snot in my eye while I was crying and dad let him. I experience orgasms to soft sounds and groans and my dad would make disturbing noises in his room at night. I would pray to god for it to stop. Afterwards the devil turned into my dad. My parents used to be really happy. however over the past few years they seem to be in many issues. They fight a lot and they are rarely intimate. Even kissing I never see. My parents are old. My dad is 70 and my mom is 63. I'm the youngest of the kids, I'm turning 18 soon. I just moved away from home into my own apartment. However things aren't that good at home. My dad is sick. As in he is going to end up in a wheelchair within the next 5 years. He is depressed about this, since he always uses his body. My mother has a big mouth and often says stuff that she shouldn't. She often leaves town to go to her sisters place and has many times said that she's bothered with his depression. "He doesn't do anything at home, he always calls me when I'm away, I just want to be by myself sometimes." Due to this my siblings and I try to be home as often as possible. But my sister just had a baby and I have my education. My mother has also said that she doesn't want to be the one pushing her husband in a wheelchair. I'm shocked by my mothers attitude and worried about my father. Do you guys think there is anything I could do? If not how do i handle this?

Okay so my mother just kicked me out, no big deal, I hate my mother.Im 18 with 4k in the bank. School is taking ALL my time and I work weekends. I had to bike like 18 miles a day and got sick of it, so I bought a car. A big one! Like a truck. Beautiful, very proud of it. I'm also still financially good, but my dad and grandmother act like I'm craze. I'm not stupid and figured I would be able too pay for the diesel by I figured my boss would let me fill it up ones a week. I work at a farm and they got a lot of it. Of cours my normaly nice boss wouldn't let me fill her her up. So since I'm kinda clever I found a way to make good quality biodiesel by blending WMO and RUG. IT WORKS! I'm driving on 65 cents a gallon! Or rather 10 bucks a week opposed to 50 bucks a week! It's essentially biodiesel. I figured that would be smart and GREEN. My grandmother is acting like its illegal and criminal. I'm an asshole by nature so I don't care but I can't help it raising my blood pressure since my grandma and my best friend are the only people I care about. Even my best friend is skeptical. I'm totally being rational as well! It has been proven to work. They make you pay a lot for it at the pomp. Are my loved ones idiots or am I being irrational?

My dog mated with the dog across the street. As a good neighbor I took one of the puppies at 3 months. The puppy has been in our house now 6 weeks. Here is the problem, I have three children who are not consistent at helping train the puppy. First off, they like to pick him up and hold him. All the time. Which makes it difficult to train and reward the puppy. My husband gives the puppy along with my adult dog human scraps. Which gives the puppy diarrhea and bile like vomiting. I also tell the family that the puppy is not allowed in any of the bedrooms. Ha! What a joke. They either deliberately leave their bedroom doors open thinking that it is cute that the puppy knows his way to their room. My other daughter habitually leaves her door open and the puppy poos and pees in her room almost daily. So I got the crate I put him in at night. But he wines and cries and one of the girls will either sleep in my office with him or let him out. Next thing I know there are piles in my office. But when they are at school and I crate him when I am not home. When I get home I let him out, he goes straight for the living room.But when I let him outside straight from the crate I will leave him outside for a few minutes. But when I let him in he has held it for when he gets in the house. I found pee in the middle of my living room floor and fresh poop in my office. It's like he didn't want to go outside that he was waiting for me to let him in the house to go potty. Both the puppy and my adult male go out at the same time. My adult dog is a house dog and the puppy came from a home where their dog was outside full time. The dogs food and water dishes are outside.They go outside about 3 times a day. I have a huge fenced yard but is cluttered with hubbys construction debris. Trying to get puppy on a walking schedule. He is walked but there is no schedule. The girls take him when they feel like it.

My daughter is going to start college in 2 weeks. The college is 100 miles away. She will be sharing an apartment with 3 other girls. She ask me how I thought she should get around and go the grocery store and other places as there is no public transportation where she is staying. I ask her if any of the other girls at the apartment had a car and she checked and none did. They told her they will use a bike to get around. She wanted me to buy her a bike. I told her with the high cost of tuition, books, and her apartment, it might be a used bike. She visited my dad and mom last weekend and she talked to them about the problem she would have getting around at college and that I planned to buy her a bike. My dad told her that he used to be an ambulance driver and he had picked up MANY people that had be hit on their bike by a car. He said the bike driver was usually DEAD or severely injured in a car bike accident. He was going to get her something safer than a bike to use at college. He then took her to a car dealer and bought her a new Kia Soul so she would be safe. She thinks she has the greatest grandpa in the world now. I am not sure how I feel about this. Dad did not buy me a new car when I went to college. Is dad trying to make me look bad to my daughter because I could not afford to buy her any car let alone a new one or his he concerned about her safety on a bike. How should I feel about what my dad did?

Even though I'm 19 my dad still treats me like my 13 year old brother. Whenever my parents go somewhere, my dad doesn't ask do I want to go or if I i feel like going with them. He just says," Come on put your clothes on lets go. or "You know we are going to church tonight right?" I have no problem going with them places it's just the fact that he doesn't really show that much respect for me like asking if I want to go since I'm 19. I don't know how many other 19 olds would put up with that. I will be moving out soon.

I live in the UAE (dubai) its an incredibly safe country and all the taxis you pick you book from an application its other an ubber or a careem. Im 15 years old and all my friends are allowed to go by taxis metro etc... but my mom won't give me an actual proper reason to let me go in a taxi and it irritates me so much because i miss loads of hangouts with my friends because of it.I thought maybe she had a past experience with a taxi or she's not ready to let go of me as in let me start doing things by my own without her having to bee there cause both my older brother left to college so maybe she doesn't want to let go, but whatever it is, it really does annoy me and what i don't understand is that i come from Bolivia which is in South America and over there its really dangerous to go on a taxi and by all she almost let me go on a taxi over there but not in Dubai like if anything she should let me go here, and i wouldn't even go alone i usually would meet up at my friends house and get in a taxi with a bunch of my friends that my mom knows off and she would also give me permission to travel alone or go to concerts but it really bothers me and we fight about it all the time because i don't understand why she won't let me go?!?! Its just a taxi, any advice as to what her reasons might be?

I was married to my ex for 6 years. Lots of craziness and drama and that's putting it lightly! We went to three different therapists and all three diagnosed her with Borderline Personality Disorder. She's 37 if that matters. She has a daughter, we didn't have any children together (thank God). We've been divorced dunces January when she left me. She was starting to date near the end of our divorce and none of that worked out for her. Her ex friend told me how she betrayed her. She spilled the beans on how miserable and sad my ex is. Fast forward, about two months ago she made up a big lie about my brother claiming he tried to hit her. Total lie, my brother aid military and was stationed in Korea when this happened. That lie fell apart fast! My guess is she was trying to get me to engage with her but I did not, even though I miss her more than anything. Last night she posted a pic on Facebook of the night I proposed to her. It was a pic from 8 years ago. It was only a pic of her, not me in that pic. I recognized it right away because it was outside a hotel in Paris where we were vacationing. She told her friend that she knows I look at her Facebook. Is this just to hurt me? To make me respond? To get into my head? Or what? If I ignore her like I've been doing, do you expect her to give up, or maybe eventually call me or try harder to get my attention? So my fiancé has two nephews and their both still in middle school and elementary. The youngest one was kicked out of school for reasons I don't know, but I had friends accusing me of being evil cause I admitted that I have no love for neither one of them. I don't hate the boys, but I'm not a die hard type love them, either. The reason I feel this way is cause I don't want to waste my time loving someone else's kids when all they going to do is grow up and not appreciated it, anyway. My God daughter s mother is not interested in her child. I take the child to be with me on a daily basis, to raise her and care for her, but take her home to her mother at night, because the child is not yet three years old. The problem I have is that the mother is not interested in the girl, she is always telling me "oh, you keep her with you allght" or she sends her out to me with her hair in a mess and dirty clothes, yet the mother is dressed up and fancy. Now that the girl is getting a little older at three, she understands much more and cries when I tell her I am taking her home. She will say "no more mama" There are no signs of any abuse, and she is always bathed, but not groomed. I am thinking of starting to take the mother up on her offer, for the sake of the child. Is there anything I should consider so that I am fair to the child? The mother is not my concern any longer. It makes me so sad. Also, the mother has always been this way since the child was born. The child has been a bother to her, but I didn't want to keep the child from her for too long at a time, because I've always been told "a child belongs with her mother" I want to do what's best, and everyone who knows of this tells me that the girl is much better off with me. So like, there was this really big party at one of my friends house, and i wanted to go there, but my dad told me i cant leave the house cuz i took some money from my moms purse last week. Gosh big deal. So i stole his car keys while he was taking a nap and went anyways and today morning i came home and he was super angry at me, like i dont know why, i wouldnt have to take his car if he just let me go there myself, but then he slapped me. So like, can i sue him for abuse or something?? im 17 if that helps, so like, child abuse father, slapping a 17 year old girl, i really want to teach him a lesson wow you all are like, so lame. My sister in law is an idiot. No denying that. She is 21. I'm 23 & my hubby is 25. She's been living w/us for two years. She is here to study but that's the last thing on her mind. She's always scheming people including my husband. He spoils her! She doesn't work & barely gets by in school yet lives rent free & he pays her tuition. He and I have been arguing over two months about her. I want her to go back to their home country. She's tricked some guy into marrying her & asked my brother to pay her citizenship paperwork & walk her down the aisle. I told him he shouldn't have any part of this marriage & he doesn't want to but feels obligated. I have 6 younger siblings who I'd die for & I'd never do this for them or will at least tell them to grow up & get a job. I once made my brother walk home 8hrs bc he spent the train money I gave him on cigarettes & asked me to drive one hour to get him 😑It's called tough love. He doesn't do this with his sister. He gives and gives and continues to get played. I hate that he doesn't listen to me & puts his sister before me. Im looking out for him but he just can't grasp that. I try to keep it a secret if I do anything with my step-mother but sometimes my mother finds out. I am 14 and when I was 3 my parents divorced. My Dad remarried when I was 11. So my mother has always resented time I spend with my Dad though never actually stopped me since the law requires time with both parents. She still argues with my Dad and when word comes that I am doing something with my step-mother (like last weekend I stayed extra long at my Dad's too see my step-mother's Mom) my mother gets mad. So my mother's line is "she is not your mother" or "she is not your parent". Or last weekend it was "she is not your grandparent" regarding my step-mother's Mom. So long story short is my step-mother family or is my mother right that she is no more then Dad's friend? I like her and want to think of her as family. I wish my Mom weren't so mean about it. My Dad divorced her but it wasn't about my step-mother as they met later and my Dad divorced because they didn't get along (my mother says he was mean but he denies that but admits they both were mean during fights and regrets things said). My mother is still mean to him. So anyway is my mother right that my step-mother and her family are not family and also how do I respond when my mother gets mad at me for liking my step-mother and her family?

I'm 21 years old and live with my mom and sister. When I was about 11, I noticed my mom was always touching, or looking like she was checking or adjusting her crotch, at times. I thought it might've been because she was wearing a pad or something, but I kept on noticing it everyday, and it pretty much became something I couldn't unsee. What she does it touch the top of her crotch, and sometimes even straight up groped herself for a split second. I think I'm the only one who notices because no one else has ever mentioned it. So my mom went away on a trip but it was basically for her job. My dad has been home. Now before my mom left I been getting tooth pain which is basically a wisdom tooth. I know I have wisdom tooth pain because I had ONE wisdom tooth removed earlier this year. I have a feeling my dad thinks I am lying about the pain. My mom was giving me aspirin but she kind of thinks it is a cavity (i know how i feel its not a cavity). Anyways, I told my dad and he thought I was getting mad because I wanted to watch television. So he starts yelling at me saying I wait until my mother leaves to start acting like a drama queen, that i am an idiot, and that something must be wrong with me and I have to see a doctor to get fixed like I am a crazy person. All I did was tell my dad my tooth was hurting and I couldn't find the aspirin. Then he said he would make an appointment at the dentist for me, but got mad when I said it can't be this Saturday until he realize why ( taking a test for a job in the city). why would he start acting violent towards me? He started slamming his hands on the counter on the kitchen and the cat dish fell on me and i ended up with a bruise. I told my boyfriend and he said if he had an apartment he would make me move in with him, he doesn't care if I cant afford to help him pay yet (i only work retail), he says my well being is more important... And yes I had to tell my dad and I cannot get this fixed myself because I am still under my parents insurance..

All my siblings and I have always paid rent and our own bills. We receive no financial support. My mom bf walks around like he is king of the house. Always pressuring my mom kick us out. Recently I moved my fiancé in And we pay half of the rent of the house to help my mom out. My fiancé even loan my mom 5000$ even I told her not too. Recently my mom boyfriend came In our room accusing me on doing drugs because he found a bag of weed which belong to my sister of which she later admit. He has always started to sexually harass my fiancé. We confronted my mom about and she said she didn't see it so she can't say anything. Out of frustration and anger I went to grandma and all my mom siblings and advise them my mom is a gold digger to her kids and a big time whore and if l catch her be sexually harassing my fiancé I will murder him plus my mom. My boyfriend proposed to me earlier. We've been dating on and off since middle school and we're currently both seniors in high school, well both most likely be finishing high school by December this year as we're both home schooled. I know I'm young, we're young. I am 16, he's 17. We both love each other and we are sure this is what we want. We do not plan on getting married until 2018. I told my mom it was just a promise ring and my dad hasn't seen it yet. My parents don't live together, they're in the middle of a divorce. I live with my dad. He is an alcoholic, he gets mean sometimes, he yells at me and tells me not to come home when I want to spend a weekend with my mom. I want my boyfriend to ask my dad for his blessing to get engaged to me but I am terrified that he will kick me out. I love my dad and I don't like being scared and I don't like keeping secrets. I want to tell him the truth but I like my car and the house and I also have animals here. I know if he kicks me out he won't let me take my dogs. He'll let me take my cats because he didn't buy those. What should I do? I'm in desperate need of advice. I have really bad anxiety and for the past four hours I've had panic attacks over and over to the point where I'm even crying right now because I don't know what to do.
