Im 23 and my grandma is 87. She s the last grandparent I have who s alive and I drive 2.5 hours there and back a few times a year just to say hi and help her and give her kisses. She loves to prepare food and clean the house when she knows she ll have guests so I don t always tell her when I m coming. She s get exhausted cleaning and cooking while I really don t need or want her to. This weekend I called her to see if she was in town and she is and she invited me to sleep over because she says 5 hours of driving in one day is too much even if I ve done it in the past. I m just wondering what I can do with her in a small town that won t exhaust her, but that she will remember forever and can think of on lonely or rainy days.

There isn't one friendship that I didn't have with a male, where another female didn't try to sabotage. Whether were playing football, working on a roof, Playing video games, or talking. Females can have friends, but men cannot. I couldn't take it anymore. I asked my mom for advice and she spilled the beans. She said women can be very funny style with their men in that department. So I'm in 7th grade. I just started a new private school with my best friend. I was super enthusiastic about it, and i begged my mom, and she finally agreed to pay for it. I don't think i like it. But my issue is, I can't say anything because I feel so bad about making my mom pay for it if I don't like it. Even though we have a lot of money, and I know we can easily pay for it, i still feel really bad. I need to spend the next 2 years here until high school, when I can easily leave. I know that if I tell her I don't really love the school, and thats why I want to leave, she would say something like "I'm paying so much money for this school, and I thought you loved it!" I'm in college, only a subway and train ride (takes 40 minutes) away from home. I'm way closer to home than other people are but I've been feeling homesick every time my mom texted and I keep tearing up. There is someone in two of my classes at school that I'm really interested in befriending. I almost feel like I have a man crush on him or something. He has a very captivating persona which I can't get over. He is odd though. I think he would be called "very attractive", but he acts weird. In class he fiddles around and smiles randomly, and mouths words a lot. He tries to talk to people, and just kind of moves between groups of people, but then I always see him walking around alone. One class he is just facing me. I'm so frustrated, because I only see him from a distance. I see him leaving school though.. I feel like I really need to say hi and talk to him without sounding creepy.. and I don't know how to do this since everything is so busy and I'm never around him up close.

So yeah Basically what the tittle says, I am not really good at anything. I have played the guitar for 8 years I practiced a lot for like 4 separate years, I have had really good teachers, who are actual rock stars going on tour through Europe. but the thing is I taught the basics of the guitar to my best friend and he is now better than me by miles even though he has been playing for eight months without a teacher, this happened many times with more people so its not just my friend being gifted. I also played other instruments(drums, piano bass) for about 4 years each, Same story as above. I have also done Judo for 10 years, Everyone passed me even if they have done it for 2 years. The thing is I even practice a lot, I am really bad. In the guitar and the other instruments sound like dying cats, and in Judo I have only won 1 fight, (I have fought like 10 times). It is not a self esteem issue (even if it was) I am really bad at everything I do. I have tried seeing the positives as well but I really am not good at anything. I am not good at science either unfortunately, I am not very smart to be honest. I am not trying to victimize myself but it is the truth.

So I've been friends with a boy named Eli since the beginning of the school year last year. We met over our fandom of Doctor Who. We were really good friends all last year because we had the same first hour, and we always talked in first hour class before the school day actually started. But this year, we are on different teams (different groups of eighth graders) so we have zero classes together. His first hour is in my hallway though, so I hang in his class for ten minutes before going to mine. But this year, I've noticed that he doesn't talk to me as much. He talks to like five other people in the hallway while I follow him around not saying a word. I just think we are floating apart... And I don't want that to happen. Eli is a bright, happy person, and he is so much fun to be around. How do I get close to him again?

Over the weekend, 9/10, I had plans to go to a friends house for the day. The morning of the day I planned to go over, I felt sick and had a fever. Because I felt terrible and didn't want to get her sick, I decided to text her and say "Hey, I'm so sorry but I won't be able to come over today. I'm sick and don't want to spread it, maybe we can hang out another time." She responded with a simple "oh ok" and I brushed it off. On Monday I stayed home from school from being sick and returned Tuesday. I saw her 2x in the hallway(we don't have any classes together) and said hello and waived. She knew I was there because she looked right at me, however did not say anything. Today, I texted her asking about school work, and she barely said anything. One word answers were all I got out of my paragraphs of texts, like "Yes" and "Oh." This made me somewhat upset because i was just trying to make conversation. Can someone please help me, am I reading too far into things or is this not a good sign? She has canceled on me twice with short notice as well, because she "forgot she had something else to do."

Today one of my best friends told me that her family just found out her father has been having an affair for 5 years. She told me right before class and was in tears. I've never met her family and we've only known each other a little more than a year, but I really want to be there for her. I offered for her to come along with my mom and I to the mall this weekend since she said she wants to get out of the house. I have a close straight male friend who's touchy-feely in general, so I can't tell if there's any bit of flirting in his actions toward me or if it's all his normal friendly behavior. He strokes my back (like consolingly), pats my head, massages my head, and massages my shoulders. Of course I'm clothed at all times. I've been going to several meetups in the hopes of making friends. Well, I finally found someone who was interested in being friends, so he invited me and some other girl to go out far away in Long Island last weekend and go to the beach. He drove us and everything. What they had planned (which I was unaware of beforehand) was they wanted to light a bonfire on the beach at night and so they did. We got caught by the patrol and the cop ended up issuing a ticket due to a couple of fire code violations. The cop said that since the violations were obviously unintentional, he was only going to give one of us a ticket instead of all three of us and thankfully, the guy was the one that got issued the ticket, not me. If the cop were to issue all of us a ticket, I would've came home having to pay a fine and possibly having a record. I would've been so annoyed too because I was not involved with this nor was it my idea to begin with to build this fire. I'm now hesitant on hanging out with these people again. They seemed nice and trustworthy up to this point, but the fact that after only seeing them a couple of times and I already almost get in trouble with the cops is not a good sign. So, should I give these people a chance and hang out with them again or should I not see them again and find better people to be friends with?

How can I make a comic strip with my friends?

I feel that people see me for my disability instead of me. I have ADHD and when I get nervous, I get extremely loud and start doing these dumbass impressions to get people to like me. People have called me annoying and hyper. Most of my friends are like me and younger. I wanted to start hanging out with people who aren't disabled and my age. However, people are so judgemental that they don't even talk to me unless to say hi. Should I just hang out with people like me.

My best friend is turning 16 and I got her a book, macaroons from La Durée (premium ones), I filmed her a couple times when we went out, I muted the sound, combined the footage, and recorded myself telling her some advice (Im 19). I also made a funny gift card. However she is a music lover, and she recently moved into a new house and turned her room into vintage style. So i thought I d get her a turntable and a Record but the turntable would cost me 220$ and Im not sure if I can find records for the artists she likes such as Astrid, the neighborhood, Melanie Martinez, Eden the Project, Maria Mena, Lund, etc.. What do you think? Would it be a good birthday gift or should I ditch the turntable? I know she will love it but Im unsure about the records if I can find new ones or if its worth it.

I just gave up trying to make friends because it's just too much neither they turn out to be fake or they only talked to me when they had nothing else to do but never wanted to listen to my problems. Another example: My friend Crystal is actually pregnant and she's planning her baby shower. But then later we pass by again at the hallway & i turn around to look at her but she hide behind her friend. Then later when she came to class I was looking at her & she caught me looking so I just looked away. Then when she went over to talk to her teacher & I was looking at her but she was looking straight ahead & then I stopped looking. Tengo un amigo que fue mi compañero de trabajo pero ya se fue, desde él día que se fue como hace 2 semanas a diario conversamos a lo largo del día por watshap me pregunta como estoy y platicamos , el siempre es el que me habla primero de echo una vez le marque por teléfono por error y mas tarde me devolvió la llamada y me pregunto si estaba todo bien , saldremos de viaje ya que el propuso que fueramos a conocer, de hecho iriamos el fin pasado pero ya no quize senti que estaba poniendo pretextos pero el volvió a preguntar a donde iríamos cada quien cubrirá sus gastos no es que me invite así quedamos,, él me gusta pero yo estoy confundida ya que no es muy detallista conmigo de hecho cúando estaba acá yo le regalaba dulces pero él nunca decía que me traería algo pero nunca , Cuando aun seguía en él mismo trabajo que yo hablábamos mucho por teléfono cuestiones de trabajo y otras cosas tontas mucho tiempo, solo que cuando estamos con mas personas no se siento que me ignora y eso no me agrada por que si somos amigos por que no me saluda y trata normal no se si le de pena o que? No se si le agrade y es cuestión de tiempo para que se de algo mas que la amistad O sólo me estoy confundiendo por que me gusta y solo es una simple amistad.

This girl at work likes teasing me a lot. She makes me blush and knows that her teasing also leaves me flustered in many ways. She recently called me her best friend, in front of our other female coworkers. I just started to say umm a lot. This made her smile. I am divorced but my ex wife Carol and I are still friends. There are no children involved. Carol was assigned to a project at work that required her to work with a new computer system that she had never used before. I had spent a lot of time on that computer system so she called me often for help. I was happy help her. After the project was over she got a good raise and promotion. She called and wanted to take me to dinner to show her appreciation. I said sure. She wanted to know if she could bring her project partner Pat to the dinner. I said "Sure, bring him". When we met for dinner I was surprised to learn that her partner Pat was a beautiful girl. They both told me they wanted to know what gift I wanted that would really show how much they appreciated my help. Guys, you know what I wanted most from these 2 women but I didn't have the balls to tell them. Does that make me a wimp?
