Question: Moving half way across the country without a job. Should I take the risk? Posted: 26 Sep 2016 03:03 PM PDT I am 24 years old, single, and I've been working in human resources for two years since completing my degree. Three years ago I moved half way across the country to Wisconsin for a year and I fell in love. It was so hard to come back. I told myself I would find my way back there but it hasn't happened yet. So I haven't been happy at my job in close to 6 months. I've been searching for other opportunities in the area but now I'm starting to think... why not take this opportunity to just leave my job and pick everything up and move back to Wisconsin? - The apartment I'm renting is a monthly lease, so I can leave at any time. - I have exactly $100,000 currently saved in a savings account and $5,000 in my checking account. I've never once touched the money in my savings, which is how it's grown so much. - I'm single so there's nobody to hold me back at this point. Now's the perfect time to find my way back there and then begin to dig roots. My plan would be to fly out there and apply for every job until I'm offered something that can provide me with some income while I then look for "career" type jobs in my field. I think I present myself well and I'm competent so finding a job initially shouldn't be that difficult. Plus I do have all that savings. It's just a scary thought to think I'd be leaving my job and familiar home for... who knows that. Is my plan crazy or do people do it all the time? Advice? |

Question: COMO HACER QUE SE SEPAREN? |
Question: Does his quote make sense to you? Posted: 26 Sep 2016 12:53 PM PDT "It's a cold cruel world but if we choose to bask in the good life has to offer nothing shall surpass the true beauty that lies on this earth." This quote was going on my photo of a military plane sitting in the middle of a beautiful historic battleship. If there is any way I can fix or correct it can you please help me?? I wanted it to mean how, what a cruel world these navy men had to endure but looking at the good of it, nothing can beat the true beauty the battleship holds and the sacrifice they put forth. |
Question: Is feminism just one giant act of projection? Posted: 26 Sep 2016 12:51 PM PDT 'mansplaining'. What do feminist women do all day? They tell us what it is that 'men' think and they do it in a condescending way. Rape culture. Feminists ignore the existence of females who force sex on people (known in some circles as 'rape'). Sexism. Feminism looks down on men and women. To feminism, men are the root of all evil. To feminism, women are weak scared idiots. Annie, your people have made me an anti-feminist. Listening to feminists is why I am an anti-feminist. You feminists had every chance to convince me that feminism was really about equality. A precious few of you actually try to walk the talk but most of you, easily over 90% of you, are delusional and sexist. I am not closed minded. If I WAS closed minded, I would still think that feminism is an equality movement. I opened my mind on the topic and you feminists convinced me... ...that you were, almost without exception, members of a hate movement. You have only yourself to blame and specifically you as well b/c you are by NO means one of the rare good feminists. After that, you basically blah blah blah the usual feminist BS. You take responsibility for your actions? I highly doubt that. Wage gap? Women's actions. Pregnancy? Usually women's actions. You're against women being responsible for women's actions. You love men? Yeah, like Hitler loved Jews. Feminism tells men (and women) what to think all the time and frankly, I'm sick of it and so are lots of other people. As for my logic, I think it's just fine and your bald assertions of feminism being above all that are the empty flawed rhetoric. |
Question: I'm happy the way I'm living independently but I'm not sure if I should be proud of it..? Posted: 26 Sep 2016 12:48 PM PDT I'm a 20 year old, living independently with my girlfriend. I dropped out of school half a year ago and ever since then I've been working as a waiter with good paycheck, good schedule (Very adjustable, I can choose my working days), great co-workers, really fun work place and I get to pay my rent on time, buy things I want. I get to do what I love, pursuing my passion in arts as a starting YouTuber. But... the thing is, is it something I should be happy about?? I'm a dropout . I'm a dropout and people around me expects me to be something bigger. They make me feel like I shouldn't be happy and shouldn't be content with living like this.. What should I do?? Should I stay like this or do what others expect me to do? As a student, I was quite smart. Won first places in numerous events, passed most of my exams. But those didn't really made me happy. Sure, I won a lot of first places, I passed my exams but in between those process I was struggling to keep up of what others expect me to be. Have to be a role model for my siblings. These thoughts are what keeps me from being fully happy with my life. As of now, I'm content with everything. |
Question: Why does she keep calling and texting if she's done? Posted: 26 Sep 2016 12:18 PM PDT I'll admit that I cheated on my gf with my ex and while I was at my ex's my tires got slashed. My gut is telling me that my gf did it because she was really upset and sent me 20 texts that I didn't respond to. She denies doing it and I don't have any proof. She said that the relationship was over and I apologized for not being there for her when she needed me to be. I'm thinking this was it. However, you keeps texting me asking me how I'm doing and how things are going? Saying that she misses my voice but I don't know how to respond. I don't know why she keeps calling and texting. Should I tell her not to call and text me anymore or should I just keep ignoring her? |

Question: Is my teacher sexually attracted to me? Posted: 26 Sep 2016 10:33 AM PDT So I am 16 in the 11th grade and i go to an accelerated school. I think my american lit teacher is sexually attracted to me. this really disturbes me because i keep thinking me might try to hurt me in some way. so he s been saying like really slick things since i ve gotten in his class. this friend of mine is experiencing the same things but not as much as me, we sit next to each other in his class . he always compares me to his wife which i dont get. hes so much older than me, i m like positive that he is in his late 50s or early 60s . he s always in my business asking me what are my plans and what im doing. he asked for an invitation to my wedding ( i m 16 so what wedding is he talking about??? ) and my grades were kind of messed up which didnt make sense because i make sure all of my assignments are in so i can leave so i asked him to please change my grades in the gradebook. & he said sexually " I love when you re so demanding " in my head i was like wtf? this old *** man keep playing with me and i don t know if i m over exaggerating or not. & THEN HE CONTINUES TO SAY " i ll do it only if you change your last name to ------ "( his last name ) my friend looked at me kinda iffy and i was like what??? i dont know if he s a perv or if i should be concered. i dont like the way he looks at me! i m very shapely for a 16 year old and its nothing i can do! i hate how he always greets me instead of the whole class ! he ll say " Hey Chelsea , how you doing today " instead of " Go |
Question: Is it weird that I'm not attracted to guys from my own country? Posted: 26 Sep 2016 10:24 AM PDT I generally like most things about my country but for some reason I was never really attracted to guys from here.. I like mostly blond guys or guys with light brown hair or guys with black hair and blue eyes and most guys here have dark brown hair and eyes. On the contrary I'm attracted to most foreigners as I find them more interesting (Even foreigners with dark hair and dark eyes) Is that odd? Also how am I supposed to find someone to date if I'm not attracted to guys in my country? Yes but no-one ever answers my question or advises me idiot! |

Question: Guy that I like brother wants to meet up, what to do? Posted: 26 Sep 2016 08:48 AM PDT This is really weird I've been talking to this guy for couple months now... we've slept together she what not... His 18 year old brother added me on Facebook yesterday I was okay cool... I accepted his request, then he added me on snapchat I was okay cool... I accepted... He then started talking to me... I was okay cool... Then he mentioned wanting to meet up... because we go to the same college... I made it clear I know his brother and stuff... But I'm getting the hint he doesn't know I'm "talking" to his brother because they're not very close.... I don't really know what to do to I've never had this happen to me before .... Hes been messaging me for awhile like trying to start a conversation I don't wanna be rude so I reply but I'm so confused on why the guy I'm talking to brother is trying to meet me xD |
Question: She says she doesn't like me but acts like she does, how do I deal with this? Posted: 26 Sep 2016 07:23 AM PDT OK, so this is really confusing but, I've been really good friends with this girl for over a year now, and after a few months of knowing her I started to like her. And eventually the feelings got stronger. And for the past few months I haven't had even the slightest interest in any other girls. But in those few months she would do little things, like touching me randomly and even just telling me to grab her ***, and recently tried to have me grab her boobs. i also catch her just looking at me for no reason on occasion, etc. Just recently a few nights ago i told her everything, from how stressed i makes me, to how much i like her. I know she knew i liked her but he never knew how much. and when i told her we were in my car, and she seemed really unsure to say the least. she was avoiding making eye contact and when she did look at me she looked like she was a not to cry. i felt terrible. i asked her multiple times to just tell me what i thought was already true, and that was that she didn't like me. But every time i asked her she said "I'm not gonna say that." I was hoping that by hearing it from her that that little hope i had would be gone, and it would be easier t get over her. By the time i dropped her off at her house it was clear to see that she was flustered, and didn't know what to say. but than last night out of the blue she texted me saying "I don't like you, clarified." I realize going to people on the internet isn't a great idea, i just need peoples point of view. |
Question: I'm so bothered by this so what should I do? Posted: 26 Sep 2016 05:34 AM PDT My bestie & I are like sisters. I have invited her to quite a few of my musical groups gatherings. She fits in very well, & a lot of people like her. What's bothering me is the fact that she has been invited by a few of them, but I have not been included. No jealousy here, so please don't suggest it. One of the ladies said to her, "we'll have to get together"., but nothing was said to me. Something was said by one of the other ladies, & my bestie laughed & said to her.."Oh Brenda!"..then went over & playfully hugged her. I should I do? Talk to my bestie..express my feelings?? |
Question: Do you think he'll wanna talk to me one last time or did I take it too far? Posted: 26 Sep 2016 04:58 AM PDT *please give your opinions* I asked the guy I like if we could talk more, get to know each other not having the thought of a long distance relationship in mind, just wanted to keep in touch here & there while getting to know each other... he told me he wasn't interested in one because they were tedious & a lot of work. I tried to get him to change his mind not aware of his boundaries & he got mad & lashed out, told me to respect his boundaries & not to text him again. And then I got mad cause I felt like his demeanor changed so I texted him back saying if I had known he was so stubborn I wouldn't have said anything & that it was my apologies for wanting to try & get to know him better & that I wouldn't text him again. A few weeks later I started feeling really bad & apologized, not expecting a reply but because I genuinely feel like I overwhelmed him or scared him off & did end apologizing & told him I won't bother him anymore & wished things went for him..at first I thought he blocked me but recently I called using *67 and it rang twice so I guess he didn't really block me but maybe just deleted my number or something anyway I genuinely thought he'd appreciate & understood.. but I guess I dugged a bigger hole.. It's been a couple weeks since this all happened & I know what's done is done but I still feel bad & Idk maybe having a heart to heart would make the both of feel better.. I know in time I'll get over it but it hurts too much right now :( |
Question: Why do retail stores hire douchebags? Posted: 26 Sep 2016 02:14 AM PDT why do they hire the most lowest rate employees that nobody would ever want to work with? These employees are all Highschooly, ghetto, full of bullies, I've worked at some myself and quit with the thought wondering why the retail store is still standing? I've witness employee brawls in them and other outrageous things. Employees were not even fired after starting a brawl with each other in workplace. |
Question: I need help with my family problems.? Posted: 25 Sep 2016 11:55 PM PDT I am writing this at 3 in the morning because I have been thinking about what to do. I will tell a little backstory of my family. My dad and my mom were both born in China. My dad and mom haven't met until they came to America so my dad got a wife in China. He had one child with her who is my step-brother. My mom was studying in America. My dad divorced with his wife in China so he came to America. My dad met my mom while they lived in New Mexico. They had me in 2002. When I was about 1, my step-brother moved from China to come live with us. I do not know what happened to his mom because I have never talked to her. During my childhood, my parents would argue sometimes but it continued and the arguments started to become everyday. At this point I was starting the 7th grade. My mom had some beef with the mom of one good friend of mine and I did not get to hang out with him the whole year (We became friends again when my mom stopped caring). Late December, things really started to graduate. My parents would argue all the time and I was scared that they would divorce. In the summer of 2015 I went to China with my mom. She sent me to a free summer camp in a crappy dorm where all I did was stay in my dorm with nothing to do for 2 weeks. She came back from her trip to take me to the airport so we could go back to America again. When I got back, my dad had left. I didn't contact him for about a month until he called me. He got an apartment not far away and I saw that he was happy. In fact my dad also bought me a phone. Fast forward to about 6 months ago. He went to China and met someone there. I won't give out details about her family but they got engaged and bought a house. In my house, I could tell that my mom was a little jealous. She became extremely strict on me. I have been going to my dads house every week and I enjoy it. My mom threatens to take this to court because I'm only supposed to visit him once every 2 weeks. She is also giving me some bs rules. If I dont follow my moms rules, she threatens to move houses or send me to a boarding school. I am thinking about giving my custody to my brother or my dad because I really don't like living in her house anymore. She threatens me saying that I will have to do her rules (going to a tutor, going to Chinese school) or else she will move and send me to a boarding school. She yells at me for about 10 minutes every day about these. I am thinking about giving my custody away I want to give my custody to my brother or dad but I don't even know if I should. I have lots of friends at school and since I am in high school, It would be hard to switch schools. I am just asking for advice on who I should give my custody to because right now I am not really comfortable in my living conditions. (My parents divorced) |
Posted: 25 Sep 2016 11:42 PM PDT My mom was sign into my dads google account on my moms iPad that I mostly use, now I know my father did not us the iPad once and the reason my moms iPad was sign into his google account was because my mom wanted to view his emails because she sign up with his email for HSN. Now I log out of there, but now I'm getting pop up/adds from overstock.com when I go on websites and it shows sex toys like a fake vagina or build women with bikinis on, or sexy lingerie, with normal stuff like watches, clothes, kids shoes, etc..I believe my dad was looking at a pair of shoes on that website that he owns that pop up on there, also a pair of shoes my sister has pop up in there BUT NOT with the sex toys or women in it. My dad was caught watching porn and etc, a year ago, it cause my parents to almost get a divorce... now I'm really scared that these adds are what he views on there because when my mom went into the emails it shows for overstock.com, and he always opens them it shows as well. Like the shoes he has, and I believe the watches are some of the things he was looking on once when I saw him on the computer (I believe), the one par of shoes that pop up as I said before I believe he owns those, but everything else like a suit and tie that pop up in the add I know that wasn't him, a pool table I know he talks about sometimes but why would he look at that when he knows we can't afford that. When I views things on Amazon, eBay, etc., I know some of the things I view do pop up in the adds |
Question: Why did I look out for someone who doesn t care for me? Is it a sign of weakness? Posted: 25 Sep 2016 10:13 PM PDT I m having doubts. Maybe I shouldn t have gave her that heads up. Question: Is this a sign of true love? Posted: 25 Sep 2016 10:04 PM PDT My lover told me last night she considers it an insult to use a condom with me. Right before anal sex she told me she doesn't like anal sex usually but that with me she LOVES to do it and enjoys it very much becausei enjoy it and it brings us closer together. . Is this a sign of her falling inlove? I guess i'm not being complete. I asked her after sex while laying in bed would you leave your husand if i wanted it and without hesitation she said she proably would if i truly wanted that. Surely this a a great sign. I told her i'm on testosterone injections weekly that are 99.5 % effective as contraception for a man for atleast 6 months after the last shot. |

Question: Is it wrong to hint to a married guy, your feelings? Posted: 25 Sep 2016 06:57 PM PDT I have the most hopeless infatuation with one of my managers. We're both 25, he's a little younger than me though. He's been married since his late teen years. He has caught me looking at him so much lately. I get kind of nervous around him and sometimes when we make eye contact or he's near me, I can't hide my smile. I added him on Facebook last night and he accepted almost right away. Is it wrong to hint to a married guy that you have feelings for them? My friends/family have always said I am transparent when it comes to my feelings. And no, I don't seek an affair. He's IN LOVE with his wife, it's obvious all over FB and he always talks about her. Plus, I am not that type of person. I am not "throwing" myself at him. I barely talk to him the majority of the time. When we do talk, it's almost always about work. I'm not a skank. I just.....what guy doesn't like knowing somebody OTHER than his wife has feelings for him? Yes Stella, that's why I never plan on getting married dear. sheloves_dablues-Haha I don't think my feelings for a man who just happened to have gotten married young, is a reflection of my character by any means. The fact that you're lecturing me and judging me is a surefire reflection of YOUR character, though. |

Question: A girl in my course ignores me when I speak to her? Posted: 25 Sep 2016 05:23 PM PDT I'm a 23 year old female college student taking a specialized math program course. There's this other girl in my course who's exactly my age. At first she would respond when I would ask her questions and stuff, in person and through text. I'm really shy and I find it hard to be very social with my classmates. But I do talk, respond and make small talk sometimes and I smile at people. The last few times I spoke to this girl, I was addressing a couple of others who were also in her direction. She wouldn't look up and make eye contact or acknowledge me. When she and I, as well as a couple of other students were in a study room together, I looked her way when I asked a question, then when she didn't respond or look at me, I looked at the other person who helped me out. I never thought anything of that because there were other people among us who could answer me when I talked. Maybe she just didn't know what to say. But the other day, I was walking through the building and through a door to get to class. She was on the other side of the door opening it to go the other way. As she opened it, I looked at her, smiled and said hi. But she looked away and completely ignored me. This is really awkward. I don't know what's going on. Other students in the class are nice to me. I'm pretty harmless. Why do you think she would do that? In case you're wondering, yes, I will just stop initiating talking to her. |

Question: Potential Employer can't get a hold of references? Posted: 24 Sep 2016 10:06 PM PDT So I interviewed for a job that I am really excited about. I hadn't heard from them so expected I didn't get it. Then the hiring manager called me and told me she wanted to go ahead with the hiring process but my references weren't answering. I told her they both work mornings so maybe try calling after 3:30. That was Thursday, I left her a message Friday morning checking up to on it. She never called back! I'm now nervous... did I screw up by calling? My references said she hasn't called back, but they had missed calls from a private number (assuming it was her). What should I do. |
Posted: 24 Sep 2016 12:34 PM PDT About 4 years ago after I moved here from Texas I met a married gay couple who offered me a home and fianancial support in return for performing sexual acts with one of them. The other is a Psychiatrist that has worked for the state department and local prison systems throughout the California area. In addition to myself there has been dozens of young males that have come and gone through this "Family". This psychiatrist is Harvard trained and a master manipulator. He should know the difference between right and wrong. After 4 years I have finally refused to have sex with his husband anymore and am now being evicted. I would like to expose this person. He should not be practicing medicine. I have emails dating back to 4 years with both men that involve specific sexual acts and money exchanges. |
