I am 24 years old, single, and I've been working in human resources for two years since completing my degree. Three years ago I moved half way across the country to Wisconsin for a year and I fell in love. It was so hard to come back. I told myself I would find my way back there but it hasn't happened yet. So I haven't been happy at my job in close to 6 months. I've been searching for other opportunities in the area but now I'm starting to think... why not take this opportunity to just leave my job and pick everything up and move back to Wisconsin? - The apartment I'm renting is a monthly lease, so I can leave at any time. - I have exactly $100,000 currently saved in a savings account and $5,000 in my checking account. I've never once touched the money in my savings, which is how it's grown so much. - I'm single so there's nobody to hold me back at this point. Now's the perfect time to find my way back there and then begin to dig roots. My plan would be to fly out there and apply for every job until I'm offered something that can provide me with some income while I then look for "career" type jobs in my field. I think I present myself well and I'm competent so finding a job initially shouldn't be that difficult. Plus I do have all that savings. It's just a scary thought to think I'd be leaving my job and familiar home for... who knows that. Is my plan crazy or do people do it all the time? Advice?

I'm a 20 year old, living independently with my girlfriend. I dropped out of school half a year ago and ever since then I've been working as a waiter with good paycheck, good schedule (Very adjustable, I can choose my working days), great co-workers, really fun work place and I get to pay my rent on time, buy things I want. I get to do what I love, pursuing my passion in arts as a starting YouTuber. But... the thing is, is it something I should be happy about?? I'm a dropout . I'm a dropout and people around me expects me to be something bigger. They make me feel like I shouldn't be happy and shouldn't be content with living like this.. What should I do?? Should I stay like this or do what others expect me to do? As a student, I was quite smart. Won first places in numerous events, passed most of my exams. But those didn't really made me happy. Sure, I won a lot of first places, I passed my exams but in between those process I was struggling to keep up of what others expect me to be. Have to be a role model for my siblings. So I am 16 in the 11th grade and i go to an accelerated school. I generally like most things about my country but for some reason I was never really attracted to guys from here.. I like mostly blond guys or guys with light brown hair or guys with black hair and blue eyes and most guys here have dark brown hair and eyes. This is really weird I've been talking to this guy for couple months now... we've slept together she what not... His 18 year old brother added me on Facebook yesterday I was okay cool... OK, so this is really confusing but, I've been really good friends with this girl for over a year now, and after a few months of knowing her I started to like her. And eventually the feelings got stronger. And for the past few months I haven't had even the slightest interest in any other girls. But in those few months she would do little things, like touching me randomly and even just telling me to grab her ***, and recently tried to have me grab her boobs. i also catch her just looking at me for no reason on occasion, etc. Just recently a few nights ago i told her everything, from how stressed i makes me, to how much i like her. By the time i dropped her off at her house it was clear to see that she was flustered, and didn't know what to say. but than last night out of the blue she texted me saying "I don't like you, clarified." *please give your opinions* I asked the guy I like if we could talk more, get to know each other not having the thought of a long distance relationship in mind, just wanted to keep in touch here & there while getting to know each other... he told me he wasn't interested in one because they were tedious & a lot of work. I tried to get him to change his mind not aware of his boundaries & he got mad & lashed out, told me to respect his boundaries & not to text him again. And then I got mad cause I felt like his demeanor changed so I texted him back saying if I had known he was so stubborn I wouldn't have said anything & that it was my apologies for wanting to try & get to know him better & that I wouldn't text him again. A few weeks later I started feeling really bad & apologized, not expecting a reply but because I genuinely feel like I overwhelmed him or scared him off & did end apologizing & told him I won't bother him anymore & wished things went for him..at first I thought he blocked me but recently I called using *67 and it rang twice so I guess he didn't really block me but maybe just deleted my number or something anyway I genuinely thought he'd appreciate & understood.. but I guess I dugged a bigger hole.. It's been a couple weeks since this all happened & I know what's done is done but I still feel bad & Idk maybe having a heart to heart would make the both of feel better.. why do they hire the most lowest rate employees that nobody would ever want to work with? These employees are all Highschooly, ghetto, full of bullies, I've worked at some myself and quit with the thought wondering why the retail store is still standing? I've witness employee brawls in them and other outrageous things. Employees were not even fired after starting a brawl with each other in workplace.

I am writing this at 3 in the morning because I have been thinking about what to do. I will tell a little backstory of my family. My dad and my mom were both born in China. My dad and mom haven't met until they came to America so my dad got a wife in China. He had one child with her who is my step-brother. My mom was studying in America. My dad divorced with his wife in China so he came to America. My dad met my mom while they lived in New Mexico. They had me in 2002. When I was about 1, my step-brother moved from China to come live with us. I do not know what happened to his mom because I have never talked to her. During my childhood, my parents would argue sometimes but it continued and the arguments started to become everyday. At this point I was starting the 7th grade. My mom had some beef with the mom of one good friend of mine and I did not get to hang out with him the whole year (We became friends again when my mom stopped caring). Late December, things really started to graduate. My parents would argue all the time and I was scared that they would divorce. In the summer of 2015 I went to China with my mom. She sent me to a free summer camp in a crappy dorm where all I did was stay in my dorm with nothing to do for 2 weeks. She came back from her trip to take me to the airport so we could go back to America again. When I got back, my dad had left. I didn't contact him for about a month until he called me. He got an apartment not far away and I saw that he was happy. In fact my dad also bought me a phone. Fast forward to about 6 months ago. He went to China and met someone there. I won't give out details about her family but they got engaged and bought a house. In my house, I could tell that my mom was a little jealous. She became extremely strict on me. I have been going to my dads house every week and I enjoy it. My mom threatens to take this to court because I'm only supposed to visit him once every 2 weeks. She is also giving me some bs rules. If I dont follow my moms rules, she threatens to move houses or send me to a boarding school. I am thinking about giving my custody to my brother or my dad because I really don't like living in her house anymore. She threatens me saying that I will have to do her rules (going to a tutor, going to Chinese school) or else she will move and send me to a boarding school. She yells at me for about 10 minutes every day about these. I am thinking about giving my custody away I want to give my custody to my brother or dad but I don't even know if I should. I'm a 23 year old female college student taking a specialized math program course. There's this other girl in my course who's exactly my age. At first she would respond when I would ask her questions and stuff, in person and through text. I'm really shy and I find it hard to be very social with my classmates. But I do talk, respond and make small talk sometimes and I smile at people. The last few times I spoke to this girl, I was addressing a couple of others who were also in her direction. She wouldn't look up and make eye contact or acknowledge me. Then the hiring manager called me and told me she wanted to go ahead with the hiring process but my references weren't answering. I told her they both work mornings so maybe try calling after 3:30. That was Thursday, I left her a message Friday morning checking up to on it. She never called back! I'm now nervous... did I screw up by calling? My references said she hasn't called back, but they had missed calls from a private number (assuming it was her). What should I do.
