Question: Any reason why a teacher I don't know asks how I am? Posted: 16 Sep 2016 03:24 PM PDT He's not really a teacher but jus6 a security guard at my high school. sometimes when he sees me in the hall he'll say hi and ask if I'm okay. I don't really get it. it's just weird to me. I know it's not even important but it's just a little thing that I don't understand and would like to. |
Question: Why is wrong to stand up for yourself, but also wrong to NOT stand up for yourself? Posted: 16 Sep 2016 03:20 PM PDT I'm a big believer in standing up for yourself and clearing the air, so we can move on and I definitely think in order for relationships to continue, we need to analyze certain things and make sure we're on good terms. The thing is, I've been told that if I say something when someone calls me out for something, I'm getting defensive because it's true and they struck a nerve, which couldn't be more wrong. I stand up for myself because for one thing, it's not always offensive what someone says. It's the lack of empathy when you're close to me and you know what I've been through. Or it's WHO's saying it. If some rando walks up to me and says something mean, who cares, but when someone close to me acts like they don't get my plight, they're going to be called out on it because I never judge anyone. However, there are times when my battles. Sometimes arguments with a friend, relative, significant other, etc. just go back and forth. Nine times out of ten unless someone really hits someone with logic that they didn't know, we're both going to be set in our opinions and it's going to just go back and forth and since I've matured, I've realized that not everything deserves a reaction. But the downside to not saying anything is that it builds up in your mind because you have a lot of things to say and also, people might think they can take advantage of you if you don't stand up for yourself. So, why is wrong to stand up for yourself, but also wrong to not say anything? And which one is better? |
Question: Neighbors having constant sex for 20+ hours? Posted: 16 Sep 2016 03:13 PM PDT I recently moved into a new apartment, and everything has been great until Wednesday night when I heard my upstairs neighbors having sex, which was extremely loud and shook my room. I started hearing it at 11 pm and it lasted until at least 6 am, because that's when I finally fell asleep. Then, last night at about 8pm they started again, and they kept me up ALL night with screaming, talking, banging, etc. But the thing is, it's 6:10 pm right now and they haven't stopped AT ALL. I've been hearing the girl screaming dirty things for hours at a time, and the bed banging against the wall has't ever stopped. I made two noise complaints to my apartment complex, and I guess they told them to be quite, except they haven't. Something about this situation just seems really off to me. I know guys can't last that long with no breaks, plus wouldn't they both be tired and sore? I'm tired of hearing it in my apartment and I don't want to be kept up again. If anyone has any idea what might be going on, I would appreciate the info! |

The lady in front of you turns around and slaps the child hard enough to leave a hand print and busted lip. How do you respond? |
Question: Por que me aferro tanto a mi ex novia? |
Question: Is this married woman wrong by refusing to hang with me as friends? Posted: 16 Sep 2016 09:28 AM PDT I met a woman at a volunteer organization where I volunteer at and we talk sometimes. She is even on my Facebook and I have her number too. However, she is very wary about hanging out alone with me. Just the other day, I asked her if she wanted to go bowling and do something as friends since I thought we were just friends and she said that she doesn't think her husband will like that and even said it wouldn't be appropriate. Then I said: "What do you mean? You could bring your husband if it makes you more comfortable and the 3 of us could go bowling." Then she said her husband is out of town. I still tried to convince her if maybe she wanted to hang out with some friends and I or maybe her friends too and she got all weird in her answer and said she doesn't think that is appropriate to do that. I told her I wanted someone to just do something with and that I wasn't asking her for sex and she still told me it doesn't matter and that it is very inappropriate with me to ask her to do something! Meanwhile, she hangs out with other guys individually and even has sex with a black guy! Is she being out of line and wrong to not want to hang with me or taking me the wrong way? I find her reasons excuses because if she didn't want to hang out with guys individually, she wouldn't be hanging out with other men too! Especially this one black guy I know who hangs with her constantly and sleeps together with her! That's what is inappropriate! Why does he get a free pass? |
Question: HELP MY 17 Y.O DAUGHTER RAN AWAY WHAT DO I DO? Posted: 16 Sep 2016 09:10 AM PDT I got home this afternoon from picking my other two children up from school and she is gone. I checked her room and all of her drawers were empty and she isn't answering my phone calls. What do I do? And what are the laws in florida for a 17 year old runaway? |
Question: My bf is in a sect. What to do? Posted: 16 Sep 2016 08:59 AM PDT I'm 19 he's 25 and we've been together for 2 years and then he suddenly started to go to that church "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints". I think this is some kind of sect.. They all so strange, thinking that they can talk with some Holy Ghost and stuff...wtf?? And also there r sisters and they ******* text my bf a lot , yes I am annoyed when it happens, they are like trying to make him break up with me sayin " ur girl is not in our sec... ugh ...church, you can't marry her anyway, find smb from church". like wtf? He's like "They support me a lot and stuff". Wow he suddenly forgor all **** we've been through and how much I supported him. This is offensive , seems like they are in the first place and I am somewhere in 10th. Anyone dealed with it before? Any advice? I'm not religious but not an atheist. I just prefer some scientific facts to Bible |
Question: My parents made me break up with my girlfriend because of her political views? Posted: 16 Sep 2016 08:40 AM PDT my parents are liberals and hate guns, like every other liberal. me, my girlfriend and my parents were all in my living room watching the debate and my parents commented on how bad guns were. and my girlfriend gave them her opinion, which is the complete opposite. My father then said "get out of here you gun loving slut!" she stormed out of the house sobbing. the next day my parents told me that if i didnt break up with her, then they would kick me out of the house. i am 22 years old btw. what should i do. |

Question: My family keeps saying I'm too thin (its very annoying)? Posted: 16 Sep 2016 12:02 AM PDT I just want to see other opinions on this. My mom keeps saying I m too thin. I am a 24-year-old female, I m 5 5", and about 114 lbs. (That is the maximum lbs I ve ever been, I ve always been 112 and under). She says I look unhealthy now, too thin in the back area, shoulders, arms and legs. Overall, she thinks I look way too skinny. I got mad at her because my BMI is in the normal range but she says I look like I can break, that I need to have muscle tone to look normal and healthy. I asked her why do I need to look normal and healthy when I already feel completely normal and I feel like I look good. She keeps asking this but I m fine! It s so f n annoying. I think Im at a perfectly normal weight. I have thin arms which I ve always had but I feel fine. She keeps going on and on about it. |

Question: Catfish situation? how to handle? Posted: 15 Sep 2016 11:51 PM PDT There's this girl who has proven to be a psychopath, can't even consider her a friend, I suck up for a friend that's dating one of her catfish accounts. (don't online date that should be a no brainer) anyways, this started in 2014 when my friends considered her a friend, only took a month before we realized that there was an odd amount of people harassing us and trying to cause a bunch of drama. It was me who pointed out the grammar and the way the communication was between all these people and this girl. No one wanted to say anything either. Anyways, went on for MONTHS. Finally this girl set my friend up with a guy (aka her lmao) and they've been dating for a year and a half. this girl behind all the accounts made the trouble to make more accounts to harass my friend. Cyber bully, stalk her family. going as far to make other russian accounts (my friend is russian) to follow her family members that are private and list in the bio she's from the same city so she's most likely to be accepted. So I finally said something to her and of course she didn't buy it, she knew this person was a psychopath behind the 20 other accounts used to harass us (yes you read that right, 20. no exaggeration) it's still going on. suggestions? thought about calling the cops because it's so extreme. Just counted the accounts this person has made since 2014 for harassing purposes with my cousin. Total is 34. |
Question: My mother brings out the worst in me? Posted: 15 Sep 2016 10:27 PM PDT When I was growing up I was abused by my Parents emotionally and physically, I was always rejected and they told they hated me. Although it has been many years and my father is dead, my mother has changed and is a very kind woman, I also have forgiven her and hold nothing to her account. I only see her once a year, but when she visits the small things that she does makes me so mad. I get so angry and I swear. I never swear but when she visits I get mad. Please help?? |

Question: How to care for a friend who ruin and is ruining herself due of heartache.? Posted: 15 Sep 2016 10:02 PM PDT She was sooooo honest, caring, and one of the better people in the world(i believe) Her ex broke up with her after losing her job and she is NOT taking it well...at all. She doesn't care what happens to her and people are taking advantage of her. When some talk to her about how shes getting in trouble and hurting herself, she doesn't care or she is too doped up to understand. I honest feel like she is dead already and she doesn't want to help herself. IDK. Its sad. What can you do or would you do? I dont want to give up on someone who never gave up on me or anyone but idk if shes gone already |
Question: Why are white girls marrying black people nowadays? Posted: 15 Sep 2016 09:53 PM PDT |
Question: Does this guy like me? Posted: 15 Sep 2016 08:49 PM PDT I've liked this guy at school for the last two years now but we've never really talked. My friends talked to his friends and such but the two of us have never had a real conversation. This year I have one class with him and he's driving me insane. I look at him every so often we sit real close so it's not in a creepy way or anything. He just doesn't seem to talk to me last year we got a couple words into each other but this year all he says is "no" or "yes" to me for no true reason. Like I'll just walk in the class and he'll say no all silly like but not smile. I'm an awkward introverted person and I kinda feel he maybe the same way too but I'm not sure. My sibling said he liked me last year but I don't trust a word they say because they like to mess with me. Then a guy I went out with for like two days might of said somthing to him but I'm not sure. He use to look and say wierd things to me a lot last year but this year since we're in the same class he's gotten quiet. I go to a tiny 400 person school so it's not like I can just ask him if he likes me and if he says no be able to avoid him. If I made a fool of my self the whole school would know. Is he just a weirdo? Does he like me? I know it's not a lot to tell from I just don't know what to do. |
Question: Should I cut ties with this married man? Posted: 15 Sep 2016 07:56 PM PDT I met this man at work a few years ago. And off the bat things were different between us then everyone else. I acted like a kid with him, and him also with me. I'm 24, he's 29. I can't really explain how it happened but over the years we grew to know and trust each other and it turned into love. I fell in love completely and so did he. And I knew he had a wife. We tell each other everything and I'm this "light that brightens his day/ best part of his day" .This is not your normal affair! We've never even kissed, or even came close to having sex. We've both admitted to our feelings for each other but it's almost like we both don't know what to do. I'm at this point where I've heard way too many stories about becoming a mistress. The drama, guilt, lies & heartbreak. I'm scared of what could happen if I become a mistress. I love him & I know he loves me. Idk what to do. |
Question: What to do if a huge chick 5'9 450 lbs wants to fight? Posted: 15 Sep 2016 07:47 PM PDT My fat sister wants to fight me, normally I would have no problem, BUT DAMN!!! She is big. I'm only 5'2!!! She's gonna catch me sooner or later hopefully later and NOT sooner. What do I do ?!? I'm dead serious too. |
Posted: 15 Sep 2016 06:21 PM PDT Honestly I've asked him and he's said no that it's her he's even showed me text and he blocked her and then I see he unblocked her and I had commented on his picture and she commented also the same comment as me and I got angry so I stopped talking to him and he was sad and we ended up being together again and I asked why did she do that and he said idk to make you mad and that she texted him happy birthday since it was his birthday and he said thanks and she said I miss you and he said I miss you too (he told me ) that he didn't mean it like that just as a friend that's all he sees her so we fixed things and he tells me he wants to be with me but that girl keeps saying that he says he just wants to use me bc of lust? And I've curved him a lot of times when he tried to talk having sex so idk what to believe today after school I told him about her saying that he doesn't like me and he looked upset bc I had texted him saying we need to talk so I think he thought I was going to stop talking to him again but honestly I don't know everything is so overwhelming for me idk what to believe |

Posted: 15 Sep 2016 04:03 PM PDT Whenever something negative happens to me...like maybe an argument with my girlfriend lets say, I let it dictate my whole life (even if I don't think Im wrong)... I really want to know how to stop doing that and how to let myself rather then my feelings choose how the day goes.. If that makes any sense?? |

Question: My ex boyfriend contacted me after 20 days of no contact.? Posted: 15 Sep 2016 12:10 PM PDT My ex boyfriend was the one who initiated the breakup and he said that we should stop talking for awhile. Just recently he randomly texted me a paragraph updating me with his life. At the beginning of the text he said "Hey, I know it's been 20 days since I've said anything, but I thought it would be the polite thing to do to update you with my life, even though you probably don't really care that much, I just thought I would send something to you" I decided to put him on "Read" and I eventually replied the next day. I sent him a paragraph to update him on my life as well.. and at the end of the text I was like "It was really nice to hear from you" And he never responded... What do you think this means? Is he over me? Do I wait until he eventually contacts me again, or should I initiate the contact first? |
Question: Does this seem like a reasonable way to respond to this? Posted: 15 Sep 2016 08:27 AM PDT I got an email from my ex wife asking me not to be so nice to her mom. I thought that was odd to ask someone not to be nice. I sent her an email asking "why". Her reply was "Every time I see my mom she tells me all the nice things you have done for her. I want to move on with my life but it is hard when mom keeps telling me all the great things you keep doing for her." I have done a lot of nice things for her mom and her mom has done a lot of nice things for me. We are good friends. For example I have taken her mom to Ruth Chris for dinner a few times and her mom has cooked me a great home cooked meal that was to die for. I think I am going to tell my ex wife that her mom is my good friend and I will continue to do nice things for her. If she does not want her mom to tell her about what we do, she should ask her mom not to tell here the things we do for each other. Does that seem like a reasonable response to her request? |
Posted: 14 Sep 2016 08:01 PM PDT I thought he was interested in me but I guess not because his friend came to class and he asked his friend what he thought of me and his friend said I he thought I was ugly. So the guy I thought liked me tried to act as though he was no longer interested because his one friend thought I was unattractive...so they just laughed at me loudly. But then when his friend wasn't around again he was back to being sweet...can someone explain this to me... I am not exaggerating, I was talking to a girlfriend of mine and we were talking about our classes and he was glancing at me then I looked at him and he smiled and he kept offering to help me with my assignment. He kept passing by in my direction, making any exscuse to be where I was. It stinks because I really liked him. He is smart and funny but after that day I found him to be immature but I can't stop thinking about him. |
